“And Axel, you come to give me a hug too.” Axel goes rushes over to join them. “How about we go out in the yard and kick the ball around? You young ones can tell me about your day.”

“Thanks, Ted,” Anna smiles at him.

“Well sounds like they had a fun day,” I laugh.

We hear the door open again, and Foster comes in holding his one-year-old daughter, Amara, with Novak close behind.

“Hello, handsome men,” Anna smiles and reaches for Amara.

“How was your time? The boys sure seemed excited. What the heck did you guys do?” I ask after giving Novak a deep hello kiss.

He laughs and takes a seat next to me. “Luke entered his car in the speedway, so we took the boys down there to watch.”

“Is that why they’re yelling? God, I hope they had earplugs on,” Anna says with a look at Foster.

“Of course, but it’s still loud, angle.” He leans down and kisses her before smiling at Amara and saying, “And this princess slept through it all.”

Anna laughs and concedes, “She’s always been a heavy sleeper.”

“I’ll tell you about our day,” Foster says before taking her free hand and leading her to the backyard as well to watch the boys.

I turn to Novak and see a devilish grin on his perfect face.

“And what is going on in that head of yours?”

He pulls me into his arms and devours me. I can't help but moan because he still drives me crazy after all these years.

“Come upstairs,” He says against my lips.

  “We have guests,” I protest.

“Like Foster has never dragged Anna away during one of our get togethers.” He has a point.

“Okay, but we’ll have to be quick,” I giggle and run upstairs. He catches up with me easily and tosses me onto the bed, making me laugh harder.

“Baby, I’m going to take my time with you because you deserve to be worshipped.”

“You’ve done a pretty good job so far,” I hum, loving the feel of his weight on me.

“And I plan on doing it for the rest of our lives.” Then he kisses me before showing me just how much he does worship me.

  Epilogue Two

  Novak -Twelve years later

I throw Nolan and he falls into the ocean, laughing when he emerges from the water.

I turn and pick up Devin next and do the same thing, chuckling when I see the line behind me. My sons and nephews want nothing more than for me to throw them in all day.

“Give the old man a break!” Lawson calls from the shore.

“Or you can trade places with me,” I yell back.

“Yeah, come on, Uncle Lawson,” Quinn’s oldest son, Aengus, shouts.

“Daddy says Uncle Lawson is soft,” Quinn’s youngest, Conan, tells his brother none too quietly.

“Say what?” Lawson growls, glaring at Quinn who is passed out on a towel. Lawson grabs one of the buckets of water the girls are using to make sandcastles then proceeds to dump it on him.

“What the fuck?” Quinn bursts out.

  “Quinn!” Molly scolds him.

Quinn stands and chases Lawson into the ocean and all the kids gang up, taking him into the water. I assume that’s my cue and walk back to the shore. Stopping at the sandcastles, I notice Foster is at the core of the group, Amara and our nieces, Keeva and Olivia, with him.

“Uncle Foster, that’s not pretty enough,” Keeva directs him.

“Sorry, sweet pea,” he says before adjusting it.

“It needs more shells,” Olivia tells her Uncle Foster.

“On it,” he replies then adds them.

“Daddy, it needs some here,” Amara orders.

I can't help but chuckle over the scene. Foster is a total sucker with these girls, always has been.

“Whipped,” I mumble as I pass.

“Like your any better,” he smiles because we both know he’s right.

When I get further up the beach, I see our woman doing what they all deserve; relaxing. Cleo and Anna are passed out under the umbrella, while Molly and Willow are reading. When Molly sees me, she smiles and puts her book down.

“I think I’ll help Foster and the girls.”

I look at Willow until she puts hers down as well and smiles me. She’s wearing a red bathing suit, and it reminds me of the first time she took me to the beach all those years ago. She always looks fucking fantastic in that color, and it drives me crazy.

“Having fun throwing your sons and nephews into the ocean?” She asks with a giggle.

“It seems like every time we come here they get bigger, which makes it harder,” I mumble

“Well, if you didn’t skip so many workouts, maybe you’d be stronger,” she suggests.

“And miss our morning sex? I’d rather get feeble,” I joke as I sit next to her.

“You’re far from that.” She kisses me before saying, her voice low and breathy, “I love you.”

And every time she tells me that I feel my heart ache in the best possible way. “I love you too.” I kiss her again, more aggressively this time, and let my hands run down her sun-kissed skin.

“Hey! G rated zone!” Lawson yells from the ocean. I flip him off, earning a smack from Willow. I laugh and gather her into my arms before closing my eyes.

I never thought this life would be possible, that I would look on as my best friends found their perfect women and settled down to have families. Then one day there she was, and though it may have taken a while to tell her how I felt, she was always mine. Willow is everything I never knew I wanted. She’s so beautiful, full of life and love, and she’s mine. And no matter what challenges we may face in the future I will protect her and our children forever.
