My jaw drops open. “Really? She’s never seemed scared of heights before.”
“She’s also never been twenty stories up like that before,” Stefan counters.
He’s right.
“We’re going to have to work on that.” Because what would’ve happened if Dylan hadn’t been there to carry her down?
Zara hasn’t been through fear training yet. Cam worked with her on her claustrophobia, but she’s going to have to be completely fearless. Or at least she’s going to have to overcome her fears enough for them to not control her. We all had to do it.
Me... my fear was the dark. It was rough to overcome, but I eventually did. Now, I’m not scared of the dark.
“Everything is going to work out,” Stefan says, once again comforting me. “We will meet up with Dylan and Zara in New York, and we will see for ourselves that they’re fine. And then we are never separating again.”
I like the sound of that.
I can’t handle being apart from her anymore, and I know the guys agree.
I’m ready for this to be over, and I will do whatever it takes to end it.
