“I’m gonna grab the ladder from my truck and take a look at the damage,” Kick said as he turned to leave.

I reached for his hand and stopped him. “Thank you for doing this.”

I wasn’t sure if it was what I said or the way I said it, but Kick liked it. I knew this because of the way he turned right back around and closed the distance between us so fast he almost knocked me over. His arm slid around me, holding me up, and his mouth smashed down on mine. He kissed me like he couldn’t get enough of me, and when he finally came up for air, he growled, “I can’t wait until tonight. My dick is so fuckin’ hard for you.”

As his hands moved to the hem of my dress, I said, “You can’t fuck me in a church, Kick.”

“Watch me, Evie. I don’t give a flying fuck where we are or whether God, Jesus or the whole fuckin’ congregation is in attendance. If I wanna fuck my woman, no one is stopping me.” With that, he ran his hand up the inside of my thigh and slid a finger into my panties.

Three days without Kick was like three days without air. In the busyness of life, I often forgot that. I was so consumed with all things Elizabeth, housework, cooking, laundry and everything else that passed by in a blur, that I forgot I needed Kick to survive. His touch always centred me and brought me back to what was important. And that sure as hell wasn’t making sure the house was spotless.

Arching my neck back, I closed my eyes, gripped his biceps and succumbed to the pleasure he gave me. When his thumb circled my clit, I murmured, “I’m going to hell for this.”

His lips pressed kisses into my neck while he continued to fuck me with his fingers. “You want me to fuck you on the pew or up there on the altar?” His voice dropped to a low sexy gravel as he said, “Forget that question. I’ve already decided.”

I opened my eyes, taking in the stained-glass windows surrounding us, and the rich, dark wood ceiling that brought back memories of Sunday school and the bible I used to love reading as a child.

My senses were overwhelmed not only by the thought of having sex in a church, but also by Kick’s scent and touch. With every stroke of his finger and every kiss of his lips, I fell completely under his spell. For all I cared, he could rip the cross off the wall and fuck me on that.

I really was going to hell.

Moving my hands from his biceps up over his shoulders to his neck, I took hold of his face to bring his mouth down to mine. We lost ourselves in a kiss that made my knees weak. I clung to Kick, hooking one leg around him while he brought me to orgasm.

It shattered through me, and as I cried out his name, Kick dragged his lips from mine to rasp, “Definitely to hell, baby.”

With that, he scooped me up into his arms and walked me to the alter railing. Depositing me on the ground, he ordered, “Grip that railing and bend over for me. And let’s see if God can’t help me get you pregnant again.”

My senses came back to me as he said that. “Shit, Kick, Avelyn could come back any minute.” I couldn’t deny it though—the fact we could get caught made this hot.

Determination flared on his face and in his eyes. “Evie,” he warned me in a low, deep tone, “turn around. I’m not going another fuckin’ minute without that sweet cunt of yours.”

If there was one thing Kick was good at, it was getting what he wanted, especially when it came to sex. He had this way of taking what he wanted without actually forcing me to give it to him. His bossiness turned me on more than I wanted it to, and today was no different.

I did as he said, my whole body buzzing with need. I could hardly think straight thanks to what he was demanding.

God, I wanted this as much as he did.

He slid his zip down, the sound echoing through the church.

My breaths quickened as he lifted my skirt up over my ass and pulled my panties down.

I gripped the railing hard right before he thrust inside of me.

“Fuck,” he ground out, his hands coming to my hips. “Three days is too long to go without this.”

  I had to agree.

With my eyes firmly on the large cross hanging on the wall in front of us, I took every thrust, thankful that my husband was skilled at lasting the distance. Kick hardly ever came fast, and right now, as he fucked me in this church, delivering pleasure like only he could, I stared up at that cross and thanked God for giving him to me.

Kick roared his release long after I came. I was barely still standing by then. He’d fucked me so damn hard I struggled to remember my own name, let alone how to use my legs to hold myself up.

His strong arms circled me, and he pulled me into his embrace, my back to his front. Dropping a kiss to my shoulder, he said, “Don’t change our plans for your mum to have Elizabeth tonight. I’ll be as fast as I can with work, and when I get home, I want you naked and in the bath. We’re starting a new Valentine’s tradition. No roses, no dinners out, no movies, none of that shit. Valentine’s is reserved for the longest fuckin’ sex marathon of the year, starting in the bath because that’s your favourite place in the house. You get to pick how you want it. My only request is the cuffs come out.” He paused and spun me around to face him before adding, “And so you know, we’ll still be honouring this tradition in our seventies. We clear?”

I grinned up at him, loving everything about this idea. “We’re clear, Mr. Hanson. And just so you know, you better bring your stamina with you. I intend to work you hard tonight.”

  “I fuckin’ hope so, baby.”

  Hyde & Monroe

  Hyde

My gaze landed on Monroe’s ass the minute I stepped through the front door of her tattoo parlour.

  Fuck.

Not a productive way to start the afternoon. Not when I had shit to get back to for King after I fixed her plumbing problem.

She straightened and turned at the sound of the bell chiming as I entered. A smile lit her face as she came my way. I’d never grow tired of that smile. Or those lips. “I’m going to make this worth your while tonight.” Her hands came straight to my chest before sliding down my body to my jeans. “Or maybe now. My next appointment isn’t for another hour, and Fox won’t be in until then, so we’ve got some time to kill.”

I clamped my hand over hers to slow her down. The last fucking thing I needed was her hand around my dick. “It’ll have to wait till tonight, Red. King needs me out on a job after this.”

She pouted. “He always ruins my fun. I can be quick.”

My mouth curled up in amusement. “You don’t know the meaning of a quick fuck.”

“I’m a woman of many talents, tiger,” she said with a sexy grin, her fingers working my belt. “I just haven’t chosen to bless you with a quick fuck yet.”

“Fuck,” I muttered, grabbing her hand again. “I’m just trying to get through the fucking day here, Roe. King’s busting my ass—I’m looking at about six straight hours of work to get through everything he wants done—so as much as sinking my dick in that sweet pussy of yours sounds like the best offer I’ve had all day, I don’t have time for it.”

She cocked her head. “You’ve had other offers today?”

Monroe was fucking lethal when it came to my restraint. When she stood in front of me dressed to kill like she was today, with sexy shit falling out of her mouth, there was no way I could resist her.

Wrapping my hand around her arm, I dragged her to the office. Kicking the door closed behind us, I pushed her up against it and claimed the kiss I needed more than anything. Being balls deep inside Monroe was a favourite place of mine to be, but more than that, I craved the connection to her that kissing gave me.

She looped her arms around my neck as she kissed me back, and when I finally let her lips go, she sighed. “I need to keep an eye out for customers.”

I reached for the bottom of her dress. “You have a bell on the front door.”

“Sometimes it doesn’t work. We need to open this door.”

I stopped what I was doing and met her gaze. “You want me to
fuck you, Red? Or you wanna stand here and argue about the fucking door?”

“I want you to fuck me. With the door open.”

“Every surface of this office is covered with shit. It’s a fucking mess in here. Where do you suggest I fuck you?” There wasn’t even a spare wall to slam her up against. If she had a better option, I was all fucking ears, but from where I stood, this was the only place.

The heat in her eyes cooled, and she took a step away from me. “There’s plenty of places. You’re just being an ass now because of last night.”

I dropped my head for a moment and blew out a frustrated breath. She’d referenced the fight we’d had last night, which was becoming a recurring argument between us. The mess Monroe created in our bathroom with her makeup was in complete contrast to the rest of our home, which she kept obsessively clean. And I wasn’t a fan of it. Having to move shit all the time irritated the fuck out of me. After we’d argued over it last night, she’d hinted that I should sleep on the fucking couch, which I’d ignored. No fucking way was I going a night without her.

Looking back up, I said, “Not everything is about something else, Monroe. This has nothing to do with your mess at home.”

Her eyes widened. “I’ve told you—that’s not a mess! It’s—”

Jesus, this was the last thing I had time for today. I opened the door so I could go fix her plumbing and then get back to work. “I’m not getting into another fight with you about it.”

“What you like to call a mess in our bathroom is not a mess. I need to see all my makeup so I know what my options are. And don’t you walk away from me while we’re discussing something. You know I hate that.”

I was three steps out of her office, but halted my progress. She had a point—we both hated being walked away from. Turning back to face her, I raked my fingers through my hair and said, “I can’t win here, no matter what I say. And I don’t want a repeat of last night where you wouldn’t let me touch you. So let’s not get into this.”

“If we don’t get into it, we’re never going to settle it. I just want you to understand why I have all my stuff spread out in the bathroom.”

“I will never understand that. It makes no sense to me. Organise it into some containers or put it in the cupboards.”

“Ugh, men! You drive me crazy some days.”

“The feeling’s fucking mutual. Now, can I get to work so we can both go back to our day?”

She stared at me for a long few moments before saying, “Fine. But just so you know, I’m already feeling like a repeat of last night might happen again, so feel free to take your time getting all your work done this afternoon.”

“Fucking hell, Monroe,” I muttered as I closed the distance between us. Sliding my arm around her waist, I pulled her hard against my body. “I love you, but you don’t just drive me crazy some days—you fucking drive me to distraction. I can’t get enough of you, even when you’re arguing with me. Just so you know, I’ll be getting through that work as fast as fucking possible and then I’ll be coming home to finish what you started here. I don’t give a flying fuck if I break some of your shit, I’ll be clearing some space in our bathroom to fuck you on that vanity, exactly how you like it. And then I’m going to have you in the shower with all your toys. So go home after work and get ready for that, because there’s no fucking way it’s not happening.”

Heat flared in her eyes again. “Wait, you’re worried about breaking my stuff?”

“Yeah. Why do you fucking think I want that shit packed up?”

A smile spread out across her face and her body softened against mine. “Well why didn’t you say that?”

  I’d never fucking understand women.

  Fucking never.

“Fuck, Red, get your ass back in that office. No fucking way can I wait until tonight to have you.”

She continued smiling. “Sometimes you say the exact right thing, tiger.” And with that, she finally did what I wanted her to do.

  Wilder Excerpt

Wilder is my most recent release in my Storm MC series and one of my absolute favourite books I’ve written! Here’s a taste of Scarlett & Wilder.

“What’s going on?” he asks, looking up from his computer and narrowing his eyes on me like he’s trying to figure me out.

  What’s going on?

  Is he for real?

Surely men can’t be this dumb.

My arm flings out, gesturing wildly in the direction of the kitchen. “You just came at me all frustrated when I did nothing to cause that and demanded I hurry the fuck up and finish the stocktake. That’s what’s going on.”

“My frustration had nothing to do with you. I never said it did.”

“You snapped at me asking if I was finished while paintballing that frustration all over me.”

  “I didn’t snap at you.”

  “You did!”

“Fuck,” he mutters, jamming his fingers through his hair. “Have we got a problem?”

“Yes! I don’t like being spoken to that way.”

He stands and walks around the desk, bringing all those muscles of his that side-tracked me last week but that I’m all the way done with now. “This is about Friday night, isn’t it?”

My chest is a clusterfuck of churning energy, making it hard for me to breathe and to figure out what I’m thinking. “No, this is about how you’ve been treating me today.”

He stumbles over that, his forehead bunching into lines. “How have I been treating you today?”

“A little despotic to be honest.”

His eyebrows climb a short distance while his lips twinge with that amusement I hate. “I haven’t been despotic.”

  “You fucking have.”

“I fuckin’ haven’t. I’ve been trying to get shit done, but I haven’t been dictatorial about it.”

“You must not know what dictatorial means then, because that’s exactly what you’ve been.”

“I think you’re backpedalling on Friday and picking a fight with me for no other reason than that.”

That energy in my chest swirls wildly. “There’s nothing to backpedal from.”

As the words leave my mouth, that damn energy takes over.

  Kicking into high gear.

  Messing with my thoughts.

  Flustering my heart.

Wilder’s eyes dedicate time to mine.

  In silence.

  Flustering my heart even more.

  “Bullshit,” he eventually says.

“It’s not bullshit. We danced. We kissed. It was nice. End of story.”

  “It was nice?”

“Are you looking for better adjectives here? More complimentary words? I can look some up if you want, but it’ll cut into my time taking care of all those jobs you’ve slapped on my plate.”

“That kiss was more than fuckin’ nice, Scarlett, and you fuckin’ know it.”

He’s right, and I don’t know why I’m not agreeing with him.

  Except I do know.

It’s that damn sensation in my chest.

It’s the brightest of bright red flags.

A red flag I know to run the hell in the other direction from.

“All I know is that we shouldn’t have gone there. We have to work together, and it’s hard enough with you being all tyrannical and shit. Adding sex into the mix is a bad idea.”

  “Tyrannical?”

  “Yes.”

A determined look steals across his face like none I’ve ever seen from him.

He takes the two steps that separate us, and faster than I see coming, he hooks his arm around my waist and yanks my body hard against his. “Let’s try this again so I can remind you how fuckin’ far from nice my lips are. And if you wanna call this dictatorial, go right fuckin’ ahead.”

Nina Chats With The Prisoners of Print

A few years ago I did an interview with the Prisoners of Print blog. I published it in one of my original Escape With An Alpha books that I used to share exclusively with my newsletter readers. Here it is for everyone to read.

  1. We’re big fans of biker book boyfriends which is how we discovered your novels. What drew you to writing MC romance?

I was writing Madison's story and she was the daughter of the MC president and J was just supposed to be a biker friend, but the minute he showed up on the page, the chemistry between them took over and I realised I had to write a story about them. Turned out, I loved writing bikers because they were completely alpha, dirty, bossy and could pretty much say and do anything that was over the top. I also loved being able to explore the darker side of life. And Sons of Anarchy was one of my favourite TV shows, so I had awesome inspiration!
