Breaking Barriers Page 24

The best part of this is that the harbor might, just might, contain others like me. My friends. My dozenal. Maybe even my mom in spirit.

That’s a heady thought, and I got lost in it for many minutes before shifting behind me drew my attention.

Steph moved and stretched before leaning in and sniffing along the side of my neck. “Wow, you smell amazing. I didn’t notice it yesterday.” Feeling her skin along my neck tickled, but made me moan at the same time as wetness flooded me down low. It only got worse when her tongue trailed along my neck. “Damn, now you smell even better.”

When I rolled over, she surprised me with a kiss and a light touch on my cheek. I fell into it with an urgent need that my nipples reflected. I even had a mini orgasm as her fingers trailed across my chest, tweaking my right nipple.

“Is someone interested in a good morning wakeup call?” Her hand dipped lower, flaring heat through my stomach as she touched my clit.

This time I started the kiss, making it the first one I’ve started on my own. I could get used to this. When I pulled away, I realized her nipples were hard as well. “I’m very interested. You?”

Her smile was slow and coy as she touched me again before shifting around and pulling me on top of her. I’ve read about this position before, but never thought I’d be doing it. So this is a 69? Where has this been my whole life…

  Chapter 13

Brushing my teeth next to Steph felt a very, very tiny bit more normal than it did the night before. A very tiny bit. Carl and Zach joined us mid-brush, with Zach shaking his head at me. “I heard I missed something amazing last night?”

Steph laughed and spit out her toothpaste. “Yeah, you could say that. It was crazy.”

He loaded up his brush. “We could feel some of it this morning. That’s something else. I’ve never felt anything like that. Not even at home in the coven. One of my aunts focused on sex and it wasn’t uncommon for them to have full blown orgies to call power, but nothing even came close to what I felt this morning.”

His talk made me blush. “I’m sorry about that.”

The guys laughed. “You don’t have anything to be sorry for. At all. You’ll get used to it at some point. I’m just sad I missed it.” I expected to head to the showers, but Steph waited as they finished brushing.

The guys joined us as we walked towards the shower. Steph shocked me by moving next to Carl and touching his arm. His eyebrows rose briefly before he smiled. His…cock rose to attention. I’m still having trouble even thinking that word, but man…I like seeing it.

She stepped into him and kissed him as she stroked up and down his shaft. My mouth fell open at the brazen nature of what she was doing even as she pulled away a little bit and smiled at me, eyes darting towards Zach, where he was now standing at attention.

Once my eyes found it, they wouldn’t pull away. I didn’t intend to move in the slightest, yet I was suddenly standing directly in front of him, staring down. “Can…can I?” I couldn’t finish the question since I wasn’t even sure what I was asking. The burning desire in my belly moved far beyond a want to a need. A burning demand, almost, as the power inside of me shifted and moved.

I yanked my eyes away to meet Zach’s as he stared at my chest, eyes hooded. “Uhh …yes?”

I took that as permission and found that he’s a good kisser and his penis feels wonderful in my hand. Oh so wonderful and oh so right.

A few minutes later we were in the shower with hot water pounding down on us as he took me hard from behind. I was on all fours, face to face with Steph as Carl took her the same way. Feeling what Zach was doing to me and seeing the look on Carl’s face as he pounded away while also seeing Steph’s face as she worked through everything was like a smorgasbord of sights. It hit everything for me, and the fire in my belly liked it. No, it love it. The pressure built and built, pushing the coiled magic inside of me into a frenzy that I couldn’t stop. Didn’t want to stop. It took over as I pushed back against him harder and harder until I felt him drive deep and groan as he came.

The magic in me wanted none of that, because it pushed out harder at that moment, feeling like my entire body was on fire. I expected Zach to go soft, but he didn’t. In fact, it felt like he got harder as he pulled out.

With my magic driving me, I didn’t want that. I was actually shocked by what it wanted, but not as shocked as Zach was as I felt a light touch behind me when he was fully out. That’s all I needed before I drove myself back against him, driving him in to the hilt. I’ve never had anything more than a fingertip in my ass, so I was beyond impressed that I could handle it without much more than some slight discomfort. Discomfort that was blown away by my magic ramping up to the moon.

Behind me, Zach nearly shouted at finding himself gloved deep inside my ass. It didn’t help that I screamed. “Oh God, fuck my ass!”

Steph stared in shock as he went wild, driving into me like a wild man as I screamed out a long, long orgasm. I expected it to ease the pressure inside of me, but it didn’t. I feel like a hot air balloon with power at this point as it pushes against my skin in every direction. I wouldn’t be surprised to have someone poke me with a pin and I’d pop.

  That never happened.

With every muscle contraction of my never-ending orgasm and every impalement from Zach, it grew. It grew and grew and grew and it wasn’t until Steph kissed me and pinched one of my nipples that my magic released. I don’t have a freaking clue what it did, but that was it for me. I felt him push deep inside and cum again, hands clenching my hips, but it was lost in the release of everything inside of me.

I’m pretty sure I screamed bloody murder at this point, but since darkness roared in like an out of control jet, I have no idea.

I woke up with steaming water running across my face as I lay on the floor of the shower with a heavy weight across my back. It took a long while to realize it was Zach and he was still lodged inside of me, although he was no longer hard.

It took a while of blinking before I could see clearly through the water running across my face, but Steph and Carl were also down. They looked beyond out of it, which made me giggle. My throat felt sore and my voice was rough, but it started feeling better almost as soon as I realized what I was feeling.

I didn’t want to move at all, but I figured it was needed as sound near the entry to the bathroom told me that some people were coming in. Sure enough, from my vantage point of being pinned down on the floor, I could easily see under the door to see Rachel, Tom, Sarah, and Christine as they came in. They were all naked and they looked like they were barely functional.

  “What…what happened to you guys?”

To a person, they stared at us under the door with an incredulous look on their face. Rachel laughed softly. “Fucking hell, you have to ask? That…that was intense. What the hell were you doing in here?”

Steph must have woken up when I wasn’t paying attention, because she shocked me by speaking. “Oh, you know, some wake-up sex that Ceri turned into something else. I never even knew she’d like anal.”

I’m sure my smile looked ridiculous, but I couldn’t help it. “That was awesome!”

On my back, Zach moved slightly. “Jesus Christ…I’m not sure I can move my legs”

Our little group of watchers laughed at that announcement and Rachel opened the door. Honestly, I should have been beyond mortified at being caught like this, especially since he’s still inside of me, but I wasn’t. Well, much.

He slipped free, leaving me feeling empty inside, and fell to the tile next to me. “My God, is that what I missed last night?”

Tom nodded. “Yes, but no. It was crazy intense, but Ceri didn’t cast out so much magic that everyone on the floor came hard and pretty much passed out.

Behind them, another noise announced the arrival of someone else as Ms. Darvel entered. She was equally naked and looked just as worn as the kids. “What the fuck was that?” She looked into the shower and shook her head. “Tell me that wasn’t y
ou?”

Now I felt weird. Weirder, I guess. “Uhh, sorry? I have no idea what that was. We were, uhh…”

Steph laughed and pushed to her knees as Carl tried to stand. “She had a ridiculous orgasm and brought us all in on it.”

Ms. Darvel laughed. “You can say that again. I was upstairs when it hit. Everyone up there was wiped out when I left.

I blushed hard from that. “Oh no…that’s horrible!”

The entire group laughed. “Horrible? That’s one hell of a way to wake up!” Rachel looked happy as can be with that announcement.

Ms. Darvel laughed again. “Well, try to keep building hitting spells to a minimum if you can. It’s a good thing this is a supernatural school. I’d hate to see that that would have done to a normal dorm. I swear, I’m dehydrated from that and my throat hurts.”

She spared me another smile before leaving, still looking unsteady. I couldn’t help watching her ass as she walked out. What in the world is happening to me?

Inside, the space that contains my magic felt bigger than before. Bigger and even more full of…things. I’m not even sure how to describe it. It’s not even like it’s one big thing, it feels like hundreds or even thousands of things. I can’t even tell if they’re connected. Or, heck, even just a figment of my imagination. I just know that it feels like I have more of whatever they are after that little bit of fun.

And it was fun. As much as I’m blushing as Zach’s deposit runs down my leg, it was fun beyond belief and I can’t wait to do it again.

Our little group of visitors gave me a hug in thanks for the fun time, then broke up to their own showers as Zach, Steph, and Carl made it to their feet to join me. Zach hugged me as well. “That was amazing. Thank you. Did, uhh, did I hurt you at all? I didn’t mean to, uhh, you know, your ass.”

Steph snickered as I blushed again. “No, that didn’t hurt at all. That’s exactly what I was going for.”

He looked shocked. “It didn’t hurt at all? I mean, I’ve done that before, but it usually takes a lot to work up to that? I thought you were a virgin?”

Ugh, the blushing actually got worse. “I was? I sort of ended that yesterday? Or I guess the night before with the girls?” It very nearly hurt admitting to that, but it’s not like he didn’t already know that part. “I have no idea why it didn’t hurt. It felt amazing.”

He smiled then. “Well, it felt amazing to me, too.”

Carl laughed and I looked over at him. “You and us both. That was crazy good.”

Steph nodded as she rinsed her hair. “Seriously, that was the best. I thought the whole solo thing with you was fantastic, but this was…yeah, amazing.”

I had to step out of the water and fan myself. “Okay, stop talking about it now, please. I’m trying not to be embarrassed, but it’s not working.”

Steph’s smile was so big it looked painful. “All right, no teasing for now, I guess.” Then, thankfully, she moved into normal conversation and we pulled away from the awkwardness of what happened. Awkward for me, that is. I tried not to dwell on the fact that there were four of us showering in this one shower and two of them were guys, but it was hard. Not that they were hard, but the experience…never mind.

After we were done and got ready, a few of us headed over to breakfast. Apparently, Saturday and Sunday aren’t attended by everyone since some kids wanted to sleep in late. I’d say that I can get behind that, but it’s hard when I’m used to waking up so early to tend the animals and make food for my brothers and sisters.

That just meant that I got a huge share of fresh breakfast, finding the food even better than the day before. Good food and friends. Ms. Darvel sort of offered that to me, and she’s coming through. Not that it’s due to her, but still. It’s the thought that counts.

Every other kid there looked wiped out. Most had a silly smile on their face. It took Steph commenting about how they were all talking about how hard they’d cum this morning that I got it. If anything, it made me feel worse about things. Like I forced it on them. Granted, I have no idea what was happening, so it’s not like it’s intentional, but that’s how I felt.

It wasn’t until Christine nudged me, “Don’t worry about it, Ceri. At all. I mean that. If anything, they should be thanking you.”

That made me groan. “Don’t remind me.”

That earned me more than a few laughs from my friends, but at least it allowed us to move on.

During our conversation, I learned that most of the kids stay fairly local Saturday mornings. No one had any specific plans, so I decided to break out my defense book and study the basic forms as I’d been instructed. That didn’t sound like much fun, but I knew that I needed to take advantage of the lull to get to it.

Steph split off to talk with Sarah as I went back to our room and grabbed my book. As I looked it over, I realized that I hadn’t seen Lacie again for breakfast. That could mean that she’s still asleep or whatever, but I kept feeling a nudge in the back of my head telling me that I should check in on her.

  Why?

  No idea.

I keep thinking that I should care that I don’t care about her. To me, that means I should at least check to see if she’s out of the hospital, or whatever they’re calling the area where I was strapped down.

Taking my book and my phone, I headed out, finding my way to the admin building and the nurse’s area. No one seemed to be on duty when I entered her space, so I passed into the back room where I had been strapped down. At first I didn’t think Lacie was still there, until I saw her in a corner bed. She looked rough. Really rough. Rougher than I think she should after this long. Although, what do I know about shifter healing abilities? Pretty much nothing. It’s something I’m supposed to learn in magical species class and my defense class.

Frankly, she looked lost and alone in the bed. Not strapped down, which I was happy to see, but that was it. It’s just her. No cards from friends. No balloons. No teddy bears. Nothing to even hint that anyone gives a damn about her.

Where I hadn’t felt anything for her before, now I felt something. Pity.

Pulling a nearby chair up to her bed, I sat in it and watched her breathing for a bit. It was labored and it looked like she was struggling to pull in each breath, but she was still alive. Not hooked to any machinery, which is good, although maybe they don’t do that here? I have a feeling that they rely on magic to do most of the things that the machines in a hospital would monitor. That’s just a guess, though.

Her hand was cool in mine when I touched it, and she felt drained even to me. I’m pretty sure I’m imagining it based on what I was told when everything happened, but it still feels that way.

Letting go of her hand, I settled back into the chair and cracked open the book, starting on Chapter 1.

Let’s see, basic forms and the history behind them. I was told to memorize everything, but I’m hoping that doesn’t mean that I really need to memorize the book. That would suck. Instead, I read the first three chapters, which seemed to focus on the basic forms she wants me to know. Granted, this doesn’t help me to actually do them, but at least it makes me familiar with them. I’m beyond thankful that the book has pictures galore from different angles so that you can see pretty exact positioning of arms and legs and hands. I’m pretty sure that’s key.

Actually, no, it is key, at least according to Chapter 2. Something to pay attention to, I guess.

It took nearly an hour to read the chapters, even with spending some time on the pictures, then I went back to the beginning and concentrated on each form, trying hard to remember the name of the form, what it’s good for, and how to do it. It didn’t take long to get bored with that form before moving on to the next and then the one after that, figuring I’d start over once I reached the end. I have less than a week to learn them and be able to demonstrate them, so I envision having my nose in this book quite a bit.

Nearly an hour and a half later, I happened to look up to find Lacie looking at me. Both of her eyes were b
loodshot, and she looked even more haggard with her eyes open.

“Holy crap, you’re awake? Are you…do you need anything?”

She watched me for a second before looking around. “Where…where is everyone?” Her voice sounded horrible, so I grabbed the little cup and pitcher next to her bed and poured some cool water. She didn’t want to take any from me until it hit her lips, then she sucked it down. When I refilled the cup and did it again, she actually looked thankful for that.

When she was done, I put the cup down. “Where is everyone? I’m not sure. Is this the first time you’ve woken up?”

She shook her head, but it was obvious that it was painful. “No. I’ve woken up a few times, but…no one other than the nurse has been here. Where is…why are you here?” She sounded sullen at the end, which made me sad.

I shrugged and looked back towards the door. “No idea where everyone is. I saw a bunch of people at breakfast this morning, but that was it. Everyone was at dinner and lunch yesterday, too. They haven’t been stopping by?”

She shook her head, but it was a tiny movement.

“What about your friends? What about Corey? Or Connor?”

  Another head shake.

That made me sit back in the chair. “Are you serious? They haven’t been here? At all?”

One more shake. “Maybe they’ve been stopping by when you’ve been asleep or something?”

The nurse stepped in from the front room where she had obviously heard at least some of the conversation. “No, Ms. Driscoll, beyond some of the faculty, you’re the only student that has visited.” She moved closer and bustled around, checking on Lacie before nodding. “You’re looking better. I’ll let you rest again. Let me know if you’re hungry at all?”

I spoke up. “If you can eat, I can get food from the cafeteria?”
