“Cassie? Oh, hi. How are you? I feel like we haven’t spoken in forever.” Tilly sounds excited and happy on the phone. That is what I want to be again. I want to be happy, not constantly reminded of my heartbreak. How is it ever supposed to heal when the wound keeps getting picked at?
“I am doing good. I am sorry for calling so late… but I was actually just at the bar with Moira, and she mentioned you were looking for someone to help at your brother’s shop?”
