KING SERIES FIRSTS: King, Lawless & Preppy Part One Page 44

by Frazier, T. M.

I reached over and lifted up her chin so she could look at me.

  So she could SEE me.

“No, I said different and that’s exactly what I meant. In my world that’s a good thing. No, that’s a fucking GREAT thing. You ain’t like other girls, certainly nothing like the BBB’s.” When Ti wrinkled her nose in confusion I filled her in. “Beach Bastard Bitches, club whores,” I clarified. “When I’m positive you’re going to react one way to something, you keep surprising me by doing the complete opposite and I’m a hard man to surprise,” I said, stubbing out my cigarette on the bottom of my boot.

“I bet you tell all the girls they’re different. Bet that line’s worked a thousand times.” Ti pulled her chin away and stared down at the table, picking at the old red paint that had bubbled up on the surface. There was a hint of jealousy that crept into her question, and if it had come out of anyone else’s mouth I’d probably already ended the conversation and left the second she asked it. But it didn’t come from anyone else.

  It came from Thia.

  It was…cute.

I could have lied to her and said she was the only girl I’d ever said that to, but there was already a lingering lie between us, or rather an omission of truth on my part, and I didn’t want to add to the growing pile. “There was a girl, just one other. She was different, but not in the same way you were. I thought she could be different for me too,” I admitted out loud for the first time, remembering the sting of pain I felt when I saw King and Ray fucking up against the pillar under the house the night I tried to make her mine, and failed.

“What happened? Why did it end?” she asked, looking up from where she’d just picked off a huge chip of paint, exposing a bright blue strip underneath the red.

“My best friend knocked her up. They’re getting hitched,” I said, and then I waited. But it didn’t come. The regret. The bitterness that usually followed all thoughts of my best friend being with the girl I thought I’d let get away.

  Nothing.

“You mean King and…Ray? You and Ray?”

“No, me and Ray nothing. Never even started. It was an idea in my head. An idea that got snuffed out quickly. I never cared about a woman in my entire life and kind of confused my feelings for something it wasn’t.”

“I’m sorry,” Ti said and I genuinely believed she was sorry, any bitterness or jealousy was gone from her voice.

I shook my head. “Don’t be. I’m happy for them.”

  I really meant it.

“Ti, are you jealous?” I teased, although I knew she wasn’t. I nudged her a little too hard and she almost fell off the table, but recovered quickly, using her hands to regain her balance.

I’d officially lost my god damned mind. Not only was I flirting but I’d resorted to pushing her around like a school kid with a crush.

“No, I’m not jealous,” she argued. “I shouldn’t have even asked. It’s none of my business. Besides, you don’t need to tell a girl that they are different to get them into bed, you probably just smile and say ‘Darlin’ and the panties start dropping,” Ti said, crossing and uncrossing her legs that made me want to spread them apart and sink my face down into her tight heat.

I put my hand on top of hers to ease her rambling, but when our hands met I didn’t expect the volt of static energy that sparked between us from a simple touch. Ti looked up at me and her jaw dropped open.

  She’d felt it too.

I tried to take away my hand but I just couldn’t.

Better yet, I didn’t want to.

I clasped my hand around her much smaller one and yanked her onto my lap, she shrieked in surprise. I almost forgot what I was about to say when I noticed that my lips were lined up perfectly with that little indented spot where her neck and shoulder met. She struggled to get off of me, but I held her tight and leaned into the spot as close as I could without actually touching her. “You’re right, you know. I’ve never in my life said anything to a chick that wasn’t true to get her in my bed,” I said right against her skin.

Ti shuddered. “What would you say to them?” she asked, tilting her head to grant me more access to her neck. Her question took me by surprise.

“You want examples?” I asked with a small laugh. “Okay, I’ll tell you.” I grabbed a hold of her neck with one hand and held her tightly at the waist with the other. She smelled like some sort of girly shit that was making my dick even harder than it already was from her wiggling around on my lap. Every little movement of her struggle sent another surge of blood to my cock. The conversation we were having was doing very little to ease the strain behind my zipper. I knew then I’d have her dripping wet and leaking my cum before we made our way back out to the truck.

I ran my nose along her shoulder and up her neck toward her ear where I officially went crazy, because I whispered to her the words I really had said to women, before fucking them senseless, against the sensitive spot behind her ear. “I would just tell them the truth. What I wanted from them. What I wanted to do to them.” And then the words fell from my lips. “Take off your clothes and get on your fucking knees.”

“What?” Ti asked nervously, if not a bit breathlessly.

“That’s what I’d say when I want to fuck.” I moved her hair away from the back of her neck, brushing my lips and my words over her sensitive skin that was coming alive with goosebumps as I made my way from one ear to the other. “I’d tell them to fuck me. Suck me. Ride my cock. Bend over and lift up your skirt. Make me come.” She gasped and I knew my words were having an affect on her, especially when her movements became less of the struggling kind and more of the rubbing against me for relief kind.

“Keep going. Tell me more. What else?” she asked, closing her eyes, letting her head fall to the side.

Seeing Ti turned on was beyond beautiful.

  It was fucking glorious.

I grabbed her by the waist, spinning her around on my lap to face me. Her legs wrapped around me like I hoped they would.

She opened her eyes and then her mouth to say something about our sudden change in position, but I ran the tip of my index finger across her collarbone, following up the touch with a feather light trace of my lips, letting out a breath I didn’t know I had been holding when she again closed her eyes and began slowly rocking back and forth on my lap, causing me to hiss between my teeth at the sensation. I didn’t want her to snap out of whatever the hazy reality was we were existing in, because in that reality, Ti had her legs wrapped around me and was grinding her pussy on my cock, and was turned on so badly by my crude words and simple touches that I could feel the space between her legs grow hotter and wetter as we continued on with whatever the fuck it is we were doing, and if I had my way, we would never stop doing.

  We were fully clothed.

We were in a public place.

Yet the small space we were sharing smelled like sex.

  Like pussy.

  Ti’s pussy.

I groaned into her hair and my cock stiffened to the point of pain, but it wasn’t enough to make me stop.

I never wanted to fucking stop.

“Spread your legs,” I continued, my voice coming out strained and rough. Every inch of me ached to rip her shorts off right there on the picnic table and bury my cock so deep inside her she’d be able to feel it in her throat. “Show me your pussy.” I knew full well I was talking to her now, not repeating shit I’d said in the past.

Her lips parted and she turned her face upward toward the sky, her grinding became more fluid. Up and down she slowly dragged herself against me and even through my jeans and her shorts I felt the heat from her pussy up against my rigid cock.

It was the thought of how it would feel to be doing the very same thing, with Ti, without clothes in the way, that had me on the verge of blowing my load right then and there. I took a fist-full of her hair and I used it like reins, pulling her in as close as possible while I continued to talk against her prickled skin. “I’m going to make you come so har
d, it’s going to fucking hurt.” She leaned back, pushing her tits out toward me. I tightened my grip on her waist.

She moaned again and this time my hips involuntarily jerked upward at the sound, my cock slamming against her with such force that pain radiated down my shaft. It was completely worth it, because the sound that came out of Ti’s mouth was downright animalistic. It was more of a roar than a moan, something so primal coming from somewhere so deep inside her it exploded in the form of a sound that had me shaking under the tremendous amount of need that kept building and building.

  My little fucking cock tease.

I was blinded to everything around us and all I could see, all I could feel, all I could think about was fucking my girl again. “I want you,” I breathed. “I want to fuck you. So fucking hard.”

She put her hand over her mouth when she realized how loud she’d gotten, but I pulled it away. “No one can hear you,” I said, looking around to where the only other people in the park were a couple of teenagers at least ten tables away. “You can be as loud as you want. Besides, I like it when you scream.” The sun had just set but truth be told it could have been daylight with a thousand-people standing around watching and I would have only stopped when the cops came to drag us away.

  Bad train of thought.

“I want to taste you again. I’m going to make you scream my name until you go hoarse. And when you think it’s not physically possible for you to come again or you’re going to break…I’m going to make you come again…and I’m going to break you.”

Or I would fucking die trying.

“Bear,” Ti moaned, writhing against me. I was going to come if she didn’t stop, but when I opened my mouth to tell her to stop nothing came out.

I was so swept away in how she felt against my cock it took me a few seconds to register the rustling of the nearby brush.

I saw the barrels of their guns before I saw who was holding them.

I growled against her ear, “Pretend time’s over, baby.”

  Chapter Twenty-Five

  Bear

I knew the moment Thia registered we weren’t alone because her legs tensed around my waist. I turned around to face the threat and reached behind me, pushing her knees back together, keeping as much of her hidden behind me that I could. “Stay quiet,” I ordered.

I reached in the waistband of my pants for my gun, but I’d barely brushed the handle when the first gunman emerged from the bushes wearing a Bastards cut.

“I don’t fucking think so, Bear,” Mono said, with a big fat grin on his big fat face. “Hands off the fucking gun or I start firing now and chances are if I do that, that pretty little thang behind you is gonna be just as full of bullet holes as you’re gonna be.” He came to a stop about ten feet in front of us.

I released my gun and grabbed my lighter instead. “Just grabbing my smokes, man,” I said, lighting another cigarette. “You can tell Harris to come out of the fucking bushes,” I said pointing to the brush. “I know the Irish Twins never travel alone and besides, I can see the motherfucker’s shining bald ass head from here.” Ti’s knees shook against my back and I push back against her to ease her nerves, but her shaking only intensified.

Harris emerged from the brush with the same stupid grin on his red bearded face and joined his pseudo brother, his pistol raised as he approached.

“Chop put you dumb fucks on me? I thought he’d at least send someone with some fucking brains, but he sends the fucking twins to do his dirty work?”

Mono and Harris joined the MC around the same time I was patched in. The name ‘Irish Twins’ has nothing to do with them looking alike because they weren’t related and aside from their bald heads and red beards they couldn’t have looked more different. Mono was around six feet and stocky, while Harris stood around six five, but was much leaner. It was their personalities that were identical, from the ear bleeding music they were always blasting from their rooms at the club, to the dark and bitter beer that they chugged for breakfast.

Mono spit his dip onto the ground and smiled, his teeth coated in black tar. “You weren’t all that hard to find you know, you could have tried harder to run.”

I scoffed and took a drag of my cigarette. “I’ve been in town for weeks. I was right under your nose the entire time, you stupid fucks.”

Harris chimed in. “Easier to take you out when King isn’t up your ass, although I’d love to take that pussy out as civilian collateral damage.”

“Only a handful of places you could go. Even had eyes on that fucking old lady you liked so much.”

  Grace.

“Surprised you two fucking morons even found me,” I said. “You two can’t find your fucking cocks half the time. There is no way you tracked me on your own.” Mono sneered and came forward until we were almost chest to chest. There were two trackers the MC used and I hoped to God that it was Gus because if it was Rage there was no way I’d survive the next few minutes.

  Rage never missed a target.

  Never.

“You’re about to die motherfucker,” he spat. “If you shut your fucking mouth and take your death like a man then maybe we won’t kill the pretty little thing behind you when we’re done playing with her.”

“You won’t fucking touch her,” I warned.

“Step to the side or you’ll die watching Mono face fuck her before we put a knife in her throat,” Harris said, moving to the side of the picnic table to get a look at Thia. He licked his lips and sucked on his upper teeth.

“No,” I growled, but then I felt a tug in the back waistband of my pants.

No. You stupid fucking girl. Don’t.

This is all my fault. Ti was going to die all because I lied to her when she was a kid. Because I had to keep her in my life once she crashed her way into it.

It was because of me that we were both going to die.

Mono and Harris didn’t seem to notice what Ti was up to and she didn’t seem to get my telepathic message so when I felt a final tug, freeing my gun I knew it was now or never. We would survive because we had to survive.

  Because Ti had to survive.

  No. Matter. Fucking. What.

“I’m moving I’m moving,” I said. Taking one wide side step toward Harris, obstructing his view of Ti.

  Ti fired.

I lunged for Harris. Luckily, I’d already had my hand on his gun and was wrestling for it when it went off while aimed at the sky. I fell on top of him and the second I was able to get the gun from his hand I turned it on him, putting a bullet into his temple.

I turned back around and expected to see Mono laid out but he wasn’t on the ground. He was standing up. Blood was pumping out of his shoulder. His good arm was wrapped around Thia, his knife at her throat. “What the fuck did you just do!” Mono roared, his knife bit into her skin and trickles of blood spilled down her neck.

“Let her go or I’ll blow your fucking head off,” I warned, turning my gun on him. It was a bluff and he knew it. I didn’t have a clear shot. There was no way I could shoot him without risking hitting Ti as well.

Mono laughed low and evil. “I don’t fucking care.” He shrugged and locked eyes with me. “Eye for an eye and all.” Mono tightened his grip on Ti and white knuckled his knife as he began to drag it across her throat. I lunged for them, but there was no way I was going to be able to reach them in time.

  “Nooooooooooo!”

A shot rang out and Mono’s eyes rolled back in his head and the side of his neck exploded. His stare went blank as he released Ti and fell sideways into the dirt.

“Ti!” I said, running for her and scooping her up off of the ground.

“I’m okay?” she asked like it was a question and not a statement. I examined where the blood was dripping from her neck. The slice was about a half of an inch wide. “It’s not deep.” I sighed in relief. Maybe a stitch or two.

  Thank fucking God.

“Who shot him?” Ti asked pointing to Mono as I picked her up and held her ti
ghtly to my chest. Stepping over Mono’s body I carried her back to the table and set her down to examine her for further injuries. “Who?” Thia asked again, scanning the brush for more Bastards.

I didn’t need to look around, because I knew exactly who shot Mono.

“That would be me,” a familiar voice said with a slight Spanish accent. I turned around to find myself face to face with Gus. “And you’re fucking welcome.”

  Thia

It was the first time I’d seen Gus since he’d saved me from Chop that night. “Such a waste,” he said, staring down at the two lifeless bodies of who Bear had called Mono and Harris. Gus had dragged one of them next to the other so that they were now lying side by side on their backs.

Bear continued to search my body for wounds that weren’t there and I tried to catch my breath.

“Hi. I’m Gus,” Gus said, never taking his eyes off the bodies. His tone was flat and even and he spoke in a volume a few notches down the volume dial than most people did.

“I remember you,” I said and Gus simply nodded.

“I was hoping they used you to track and not Rage,” Bear said after finally being satisfied that I wasn’t bleeding from anywhere besides the small wound on my neck. He turned to me and pushed the hair off my face, resting his forehead on mine.

“That was a stupid move,” he said.

  “Bear,” I started to argue.

“Let me finish,” he interrupted. “It was a stupid move that I’m glad you fucking made or we’d both be dead right now.” He pulled back and pulled a joint out of his pocket. He didn’t light it instead he passed both the joint and lighter to Gus who reached behind him to take it from Bear, his eyes still glued on the bodies while he lit it and took a deep drag.

Gus knelt down next to the bikers and surprised me when he ran his index finger across Mono’s bloody face, leaving a white trail down his cheek through the sticky red. He stood back up and held the bloody finger under his nose. Closing his eyes, he inhaled the blood like he was sniffing a fine wine. “Shame,” he repeated, opening his eyes. He used a rag from his back pocket to wipe the blood from his finger.
