“Ain’t the Four Seasons, but it’ll do, I guess.”

Darren had to admit he was profoundly embarrassed by this whole situation, but he also had to acknowledge he was even more profoundly horny.

As Tony stood looking at Darren, he was working his cock under his pants. Darren could see that it would be a delicious taste treat. Ever so much better that that cheesy cheese.

Tony came over and put his hands on Darren’s shoulders and drew him close. He whispered, “Man, you are so hot.” And with that, he started kissing, thrusting his tongue deep into Darren’s mouth. Darren was instantly turned on and responded with his tongue, tossing off his glasses.

Darren began unbuttoning the red and black employee shirt Tony was wearing, as Tony also undid and slipped down his shiny black pants. Tony’s dick was thrusting at the band of his briefs. Darren could now see the extent of his beautiful cock and couldn’t wait to take it into his mouth.

After slipping off his pants, Tony turned his attention to disrobing Darren, while still aggressively kissing him. Finally, they were both naked. Darren’s erection equally matched Tony’s, except Tony was cut and Darren was not.

Tony kneeled town and took Darren’s cock fully into his mouth. He deep throated him and pushed his lips right up against Darren’s balls. He even managed to stick his tongue out and lick them. Darren pushed down hard on Tony’s shoulders. It has been so long since Darren had had sex that he was already close to cumming, so he pulled back, releasing his dick from Tony’s mouth.

He pulled Tony up, and they stood eye to eye. Darren was entranced by Tony’s gorgeous smile and just had to kiss him once again. But soon he was kneeling and looking at Tony’s beautiful dick. It had a slight curve but was totally inviting. Darren started by licking the tip and then encircling the cock with his tongue. Tony went into delighted spasms, and Darren pulled him closer to him and slowly took the whole cock into his mouth. Having fully taken him in, Darren just held it there, unmoving—savoring the taste of the dick and making Tony squirm to create more movement, trying to work his dick more fully into Darren’s mouth.

Finally, Darren began slowly sucking Tony off. Tony went wild. He threw his head back and had to stifle a scream of pleasure, bucking his hips. Finally, he was too close to cumming and had to pull out of Darren’s mouth.

Tony lay back on the makeshift bed and pulled Darren down on top of him. Darren was momentarily distracted by the fact that, when they moved on top of the packing materials, the bubble wrap began snapping and popping. If he weren’t so turned on he would probably have started laughing. But he was so excited he turned his attention immediately back to Tony’s wonderful cock.

Darren realized this was not going to be the time and place for fucking. He needed and wanted a lot more time than their allotted fifteen minutes, so he twisted around so they were in a sixty-nine position. As he moved, there was even more popping, but they each took the other’s dick in their mouths and began to work frantically.

Both were skillful and soon they were pulsing and slowing, aware of how close each was to cumming. Darren didn’t want to go too quickly, but Tony was mindful of how short his break was, and he began to work Darren more forcefully. Darren realized what was happening, and he, too, began sucking more steadily.

Soon both were very close to climaxing, and as they reached their limit they both arched their backs and shot their heavy loads into each other’s mouths. How sweet and salty the cum tasted to Darren. It had been a long time, and he shuddered and tumbled into a profound relaxation.

“Man, that was so great,” Tony sighed.

“Very nice, my man,” Darren concurred.

But there was no time to linger in the afterglow, and Tony bounded out of the snapping bed and began to dress.

“You take your time,” he offered, “but I’ve got to get back to work. There’s a bathroom over there if you want to wash up. And just let yourself out when you’re ready.”

Darren was tempted to ask for Tony’s phone number, but he rushed out before Darren had the opportunity. Perhaps for the best. Tony, as sweet as he was, did not seem to be the sturdy partner material that Darren was looking for. And it had been so long since Darren had had a quickie that he chalked this up to an experience and left as soon as he could.

In the end, he decided against going to a movie and headed home instead. Maybe he’d give Reggie a call. This story would keep Reggie awake all night with the thrill of it all.

A few days before Darren was scheduled to leave for Greece, he headed to Philadelphia with Tyler to visit his mom. They had some issues they wanted to cover before Darren disappeared for two months.

“Grandma,” Tyler belted out as he rushed through the front door and raced up to the second floor as Loretta came out of her bedroom barefoot.

“Tyler!” she said, holding out her arms to grab him.

He leapt into her arms and she held on to him, turning in circles, swinging him out in a wide circle.

“Hi Mom,” Darren called up from the entry hall.

“My darling,” she called back, as she set Tyler back down.

She went to the balustrade and leaned on it as she studied him. “You look better,” she commented. “You must have gotten laid.”

  Darren blushed. “Mother, grandchild present…”

“Oops.” She put her hand to her mouth.

“Grandma, Grandma,” Tyler pestered as he pulled at her sleeve.

“Yes, my darling,” she said turning to him and giving him her full attention as Darren brought up the luggage.

“Do you think we might be able to visit the Institute of Metallurgy while I’m here? They have this marvelous exhibition on metallic stress.”

  “Sounds riveting.”

“You made a funny. Ha ha.” Tyler made a face. “But I really want to go.”

“Maybe Melissa could take you tomorrow afternoon, but your father and I have business to attend to, and quite frankly, my darling child, it would bore me to metallic splinters.”

“Who’s Melissa?” Darren wanted to know as he came out of his room after putting away the luggage.

“Oh, you haven’t met her. She’s my new assistant. She’s working for me now but I thought she might be a perfect fit for Water Unlimited as well.”

“Splendid, can’t wait to meet her.”

Loretta turned to Tyler. “Now go along and play…” She then turned to Darren. “He does play, doesn’t he?” she asked, whispering.

“Play to him, I’m afraid, is building a nuclear reactor.”

“Oh dear… There won’t be explosions, I hope.”

“At this stage, mainly verbal ones.”

“That’s sort of reassuring. Then we can leave him to his own devices?”

“I would recommend it,” Darren said. “None of us have his intellect, or, might I add, his stamina.”

“Then shall we retire to the library for refreshment and chat?” Loretta asked.

  “On your command.”

Darren looked over at Tyler. “Your grandmother and I must converse. Are you okay? I put your bag in the room next to mine. Lucky you. King-size bed and a bookshelf just filled with volumes, some of which you might even find interesting. You okay by yourself for a while?”

“That’s fine. I also brought some books on particle theory and advanced lens technology. I’m sure they’ll keep me occupied.”

“You’ve raised either an Einstein or a Frankenstein, not sure which,” Loretta whispered.

  “Me either,” Darren conceded.

Loretta took Darren’s arm as they descended the stairs.

  “How’s Mai?” she asked.

“Splendid. She’s found a new beau and seems quite content.”

“I’m going to miss you this summer,” she said as she patted his arm.

“Me too, but I need the break. And once we’re underway with Water Unlimited, there won’t be another opportunity to vacation for quite a while.”

&n
bsp; They went into the library and sat at the table where they normally did their work.

“Would you like a raspberry muffin?” Loretta asked as she pushed a muffin-filled plate toward him.

“Perhaps later. They look tasty.” But Darren didn’t feel like dealing with business just yet. “So my dear mother, tell me about this new assistant.”

“Oh, Melissa, you’ll meet her later. She’s so pretty and very smart. Princeton graduate and wildly environmental. If you were straight, I’d push the two of you together in a flash.”

“Just as well I’m not. The very thought of my mother as matchmaker is beyond appalling.”

“My darling, it’s what we mothers do. I’m sure some suitable young man will cross my path eventually, and when I set you up you’ll be just thrilled.”

“New subject. Our Tyler has found an academy in Connecticut he wants to attend. High emphasis on math and science. Mai and her beau are taking Tyler for a visit this summer. If it’s suitable we’ll enroll him.”

“Don’t you think you should be the one to take him?”

“I would, but I’ll be gone. There just isn’t time before I go, and the deadline for enrollment ends before I get back.”

“Is there anything you want from me? Having a little genius in the family is daunting. Does he need special tutoring or anything?”

“He seems to be remarkably self-sufficient. I’m thinking we need to see about the academy first. Then if he needs more than they can provide, we can look into it then.”

Loretta became pensive. “I suppose he’ll grow up to remake the world or something… I hope you’ve giving him a good moral basis. We don’t want him unleashing plagues or destroying cities with death rays and such.”

“If he were any better he’d be sprouting a halo.”

“That’s reassuring,” she said, opening a large envelope filled with papers. “Now then, my precious, we must take a look at these legal documents Thornton sent us. There are all the incorporation papers and also this,” she said, slipping some papers across the table to Darren. “Apparently, we will need to get signed agreements from the elders, or whomever, when we work with the villages. It secures their rights to the water we discover. Do you want to take a look?”

Darren picked it up and scanned it. “Oh my, this looks brutally boring. Do I have to do this now?”

“I have to admit, I was hoping you could be the one to handle it. It is quite beyond my purview.”

“But Mother, I teach English literature; how am I supposed to make sense of this mess?”

“Well, they’re words, aren’t they? That’s sort of your expertise, no?”

“But legal words, darling Mom. Wa-a-ay beyond my field of study. There are far too many legal snares and ploys for me to comprehend. No, we need to give this to our attorneys to parse.”

“But Thornton did this. He has a whole floor of attorneys, and surely they know what they are doing. Do we really need to spend time and money on this? After all, you insisted that the legal line in our budget be reduced.”

“Hm. Okay then, I’ll have a quick read through, and unless it has some glaring errors, I’m sure it’ll be fine.”

  “How sensible you are.”

  ***

Ness had a brief break before the concert on Saturday. It was Thursday evening, and everyone he knew locally was busy. It was not worth going home for one day, so Ness had originally made arrangements to spend the night at a friend’s apartment. But when that friend had plans come up, Ness decided to stay in Athens with nothing special in mind to do. First, he walked toward the pláka, the old part of Athens, for a light supper.

It was a charming evening. The hot season had not arrived yet and the late spring air was fragrant of meals being prepared in the many small bistros and tavernas. Ness wandered the winding narrow streets, checking out inviting-looking restaurants before he decided where he wanted to eat. It was strange being alone. Normally, he was either with his family or friends, or he was in the company of other singers and musicians. But he decided to relax and enjoy his down time, as things would get hectic again soon enough—and especially if the Athens concert was a success. He was already well-known in Greece and was starting to make a name for himself throughout the rest of Europe. But America beckoned, and he expected to fly over there any day now with Philippe to finalize the American recording contracts. And then what? The world?

Ness selected and settled into a charming restaurant on the corner of two out of the way streets. The restaurant was tiny, but the seating was outside under an arbor of grape vines winding overhead. Tiny lights intertwined through the leaves, illuminating the tables.

There was an open charcoal grill with a refrigerated display case featuring the day’s fresh catch. Each diner was expected to choose the fish he wanted, and then it would be grilled to order.

Ness selected some octopus and a firm fresh sea bass to be grilled and served with salt and lemon along with a traditional Greek salad. He chose ouzo as his drink and began his dinner by breaking up fresh bread and dunking it in rosemary and garlic olive oil.

He was so rarely alone. It was strange, but also pleasant, to just sit and watch the passing scene. Young couples. Elderly couples. Tourists in shorts with broad straw hats and cameras.

Ness thoroughly enjoyed his meal and left after paying his bill. He wandered the Pláka and soon found himself in an area with a number of small bars and clubs. As he wandered the street, he heard fragments of music floating through the air. Suddenly his attention was caught by a phrase from Thanassis’ latest—the one that was a hit in France. He was drawn into a club playing the dance remix.

The club was small and stuffy, its small dance floor mostly empty. It was early in the evening yet so there were few patrons. Ness had not heard the full dance version of Thanassis’ song, so he sat at the bar and ordered a brandy, intending to relax and enjoy the music.

Before long, a man sidled up to the bar and sat on the stool next to him. He too ordered a brandy, and sat facing the bar, as Ness was facing the dance floor.

  “Nice evening,” the man opened.

Ness turned to look at him. “Yes.”

“You from Athens?” the man asked.

“No, Plakias on Crete.” Ness’ stomach fluttered as he saw how handsome the slightly older man was. He had a chiseled, dark face, with a strong nose and dark inquisitive eyes. His black hair was cut short, and Ness could see, with the top buttons of his shirt open, that he had a hairy chest. Ness quickly glanced around and felt pretty certain this was a gay bar.

“I don’t get out of Athens much. Family. You understand,” the man said.

Ness nodded. He was not certain if he wanted to get into a conversation. He could see the man was observing him closely; it seemed quite obvious that the man was interested in him sexually. And that was a danger, because Ness suddenly found that he was becoming aroused by the stares of this handsome man.

Maybe the best thing to do was just get up and leave. But he’d not finished his brandy and decided to finish it as quickly as he could without just gulping it down.

“What brings you to Athens?” the man asked.

Oh no! What should he say? He couldn’t admit he was a singer.

  “Business,” Ness answered brusquely.

The man leaned in and offered his hand. “I’m Kosta, by the way.”

Ness shook his hand. “Nestor,” he replied, becoming even more nervous.

“I’m in retail.” Kosta laughed. “Well, actually I’m just a clerk in a department store, but retail sounds so much more important.”

Ness had to laugh too, and he found himself warming to this sweet man.

“And what sort of business are you in?” Kosta asked.

Ness had to think. “Fishing. My father runs the business. I help out.”

  “Ah…”

Having found they’d run out of ready conversation, both became silent.

Kosta seemed to work up some courage. “I live
not too far from here; would you like to come over for a drink?”

Ness knew enough to know what that meant. No. No. Do not do that! He struggled. “Sure, why not,” was what he finally managed.

Kosta smiled and got up from the barstool. Ness downed his brandy and followed Kosta out of the bar.

As they walked through the streets Ness found he was beginning to relax. There was an underlying excitement he couldn’t suppress, and he decided to just go with the flow.

Soon they arrived at Kosta’s building. They went inside and upstairs to the top flat. Kosta unlocked the door and they went inside. Now Ness found he was becoming nervous and struggled to control his shaking, as Kosta was standing directly in front of him, maybe expecting Ness to make the first move. But that was not going to happen and Ness turned and stepped into the living room and pretended to look around.

  “Nice apartment. You live alone?”

“Thanks. But no, I share. Rents are just too expensive in this area to afford an apartment like this by one’s self.”

  “Well, it’s really nice.”

Kosta came up behind Ness and put his hands on Ness’ shoulders. He began kissing Ness’ neck and began nibbling on the soft part of his ear. A thrill went through Ness’ body and he leaned his head back, making his neck more accessible.

“Oh man, I want you so bad…” Kosta whispered.

Ness couldn’t respond. Then Kosta began working his hands down Ness’ sides until he reached his crotch. He began to work Ness’ cock, which was already fully erect.

“Man, you are really hung. Can’t wait to get my mouth around that.” He turned Ness toward him and kneeled down and unbuckled his belt and unzipped his pants, dragging them down in a single jerk.

Ness’ cock was still restrained by his boxers and Kosta reached in and brought his cock out through the boxer’s flap. He then ran his tongue along the bottom. Ness put his hands on Kosta’s shoulders and held on tightly. Kosta then took Ness fully into his mouth and worked his uncut dick until Ness could hardly stand it. He couldn’t believe how excited he’d become. He’d never experienced anything like this before. Sure, he’d made himself cum many times by himself, but it was nothing like this. And the few times he’d been with girls he couldn’t wait to get it over with. He’d always thought they were just the wrong girls for him. But now. Tonight. He was learning something different. He was learning what it was like to be really sexually alive.
