“Leaving so soon Mi Amor, who are your new friends?” She smiled big at Demetrius and Natalie who was almost about to cry.
Natalie blinked in shock at the tall vampire chick standing intimately close to Aidan. Her long fingers wrapped around his as she smiled. She had long red hair that was full of curls. She was beautiful. Natalie felt sick as she stood there. What the hell was happening?
“No one lets go.” Aidan went to walk away but Caitlin stood still.
“Is she yours?” She asked Demetrius as Natalie felt her blood boiling. How could Aidan do this to her!
Demetrius stepped in front of Natalie. “She is.” He said protectively as Natalie went to say something, but he turned and looked at her. “She is me human.”
“She smells delicious, can I have just one taste?” Caitlin said quickly.
“Caitlin, she is a no body. Lets go.” Aidan said again, and she looked at him.
“We go when I say so! “ Caitlin yelled at him and then smiled back at Demetrius. “Just a sample, darling.” She smiled.
Natalie felt sick as she stood there. Her head began to spin and then she was falling backwards but thankfully Demetrius spun and caught her before she hit the ground.
“Maybe another time then. “ Caitlin said as she looked at Natalie then at Demetrius.
He brought his attention back to Natalie as Aidan walked off with Caitlin. Natalie’s eyes were fluttering as they opened, and she saw green eyes looking back. “Jesus what happened. Where did he go?” Natalie said as she tried to push Demetrius off, but she nearly fell again.
“Ye need ta stay still Lass. He is gone.” He said quickly and she she shook her head quickly.
“No. this cant be happening.” She said with anger as people began to look at them with curiosity.
“Time ta go Lass.” Demetrius said as he quickly lifted her up and took off like a bolt of lightening out of the club. It only took about two minutes for him to get back to his house across town, but Natalie was crying now as he put her back on her feet. “Dinna cry Lass. He isna worth it.” He said, and she pushed him hard.
“Leave me alone!” She snapped as she ran inside his house and into the guest room she was staying in. She fell onto the bed and cried.
Chapter Three
After the tears fell Natalie felt pissed. How could she have been so stupid! All this time looking for him only to find him with another woman. His behavior was what floored her. He disregarded her like trash. Like she was nothing at all. She began to pack up her things. She was heading back to the United States. She was going to put him behind her once and for all. He could go to hell for all she cared. It was nearly midnight as she threw her stuff into the two backpacks she had come with.
She grabbed her phone and tried to find a signal for a cab to come get her but there was nothing. She huffed in anger as she flung the front door open. She would walk if she had to. All she knew is that she wanted to get out of Scotland. She hated this place and she hated Aidan!
Demetrius was behind her within seconds as she went to step outside. “Dinna go Lass, tis late.” He said softly as she spun and looked at him.
“Thanks for all your hospitality Demetri but I need to go.” She said as he got in front of her quickly and she sighed. “Listen I am not in the mood for this, ok.”
“I canna let ye leave like this. Tis too late, ye can leave in tha morn.” He began, and she shook her head.
“No, I want to leave now. I am so over this whole god damn town. I’m leaving!” She snapped at him, but he didn’t budge. “Please just get out of my way Demetri.” She said seriously.
“I canna do that Lass. Ye not thinking straight.” He said with concern.
“I’m not thinking straight? Really? I think for once I am thinking as clear as I can be!” She said bitterly as she tried to go around his large frame, but he moved too. “Don’t do this Demetri!”
“Ye aren’t going Lass. Not now. Stop being a wee child and go back inside.” He said angrily now, and she laughed sarcastically.
“Oh my god! Are you seriously trying to do this right now! I am an adult, I can do what I want!” She yelled.
“Then act like an adult Lass!” He snapped at her.
“Damn it Demetri! Out of my way!” She yelled as she tried to push him out of the way, but he was just too big.
“Dinna make me carry ye inside, I will.” He warned.
“You wouldn’t dare!” She snapped and seconds later he was picking her up and throwing her over his shoulder as she yelled and punched his back. “Put me down you barbaric asshole!”
“Ye need ta calm down!” He yelled as he tossed her onto the couch.
She bounced on the couch as her eyes got wide with anger. She jumped up and ran at him. She hit him once and then twice in the chest. It was like hitting a brick wall. She cried out in pain and then hit him again as the tears began to fall. “Damn you!” She yelled as she hit him one more time before he put his arms around her and crushed her into his chest. She couldn’t stop the waterfall of tears as she began to sob heavily.
“Dinna cry Lass. Ye ok.” He said softly, and she pulled her face back from him.
“I’m not ok. I’m not. How could he do this to me?” She cried heavily against his chest.
“He be a stupid man.” He said as she pulled back and rolled her eyes as she laughed bitterly at him.
“No, I am a stupid girl. I wasted so much time and for what!” She angrily wiped her eyes. She hated that she was crying over Aidan, he obviously couldn’t give two shits about her!
“Ye not stupid Natalie.” Demetrius began as she spun from him. “Ye are tha most bonnie woman I know.” He said, and she turned and faced him.
“I am the only woman you know Demetri. Please don’t try and make me feel better. I hate my life!” She continued to wipe her eyes.
“No. He dinna deserve yer tears.” He said as he walked up to her and she rolled her tear-filled eyes. “Ye are beautiful.” He reached out and touched her face softly.
“He was alive all this time. He looked at me with disgust. I cant even believe this is happening and now I am crying again!” She cried as he stepped closer to her.
“Ye are a strong woman. A strong human. Any man would be lucky ta have ye.” He said honestly as his hand lingered on her face.
She looked at him and shook her head. “I’m a joke, that’s what I am.” She spun from him, but he surprisingly grabbed her arm and spun her back around.
His mouth crashed into hers in a surprising kiss that she quickly welcomed as kissed him hungrily. He pulled her hard against him and she could feel his erection against her stomach. Her hands went into his hair as she deepened the kiss but then just as quickly he pulled back with wide eyes.
“I shouldna have done that. I dinna know why.” He began to say but she cut him off by stepping on her tip toes as she looked at him before crashing her lips against his. Their tongues danced against each other and the mood had changed drastically. He pulled back again as he stared at her breathlessly. “We shouldna do this.” He said with a heavy breath. His eyes were heavy with lust.
“Why not? Were both adults and right now I just want to lose myself. Don’t you want to lose yourself too?” She said breathlessly.
“Aye.” He said. “I want ye so bad lass that I can barely look at ye most days.” He said seriously, and she blinked in shock as she wiped her eyes.
“Really? But you never said anything.” She said as she wiped her eyes. She wasn’t expecting him to say that.
“I wilna take advantage of ye. Ye are upset and as much as I would want to make ye forget. I dinna think it would be good.” He said seriously as he turned from her.
“Demetri wait.” She called out and he kept walking. She ran up to him and grabbed his arm.
“I cant touch ye lass.” He said as he turned around slowly and looked at her. “I shouldn’t have kissed ye.” He added.
“But I want you too.” She stepped closer to him and he ba
cked up some.
“Ye dinna want me lass. Ye sad and lonely, tis all.” He said as she closed in the distance between them.
“Ok so maybe I am but that doesn’t mean that we cant. That I cant.” She began to ramble.
His hand came to her face again and wiped one of the tears with his thumb. “Ye dinna need ta make bad decisions.” He began, and she backed up from him now.
“It’s ok, I get it. You don’t want me either. You don’t need to lie to me Demetri. You could have just told me.” She spun from him, but he was standing in front of her again as a gust of wind blew her hair some.
“I dinna lie Lass. I want ye.” He said with raw desire in his eyes.
“Then help me to forget.” She whispered as she looked up at him. He looked at her for another moment and then he pulled her closer to him. Within seconds he lifted her up as she wrapped her legs around his thick waist. His mouth crashed into hers in a searing kiss as he pushed her back into the wall.
He moved them quickly into his bedroom and soon Natalie’s back was falling against a soft mattress as his weight covered hers. He felt amazing against her body. Her hands pulled on his shirt as the kiss broke. He pulled his button-down shirt off as buttons went flying and then he pulled on her shirt as it went over her head.
One by one an article of clothing fell to the floor as they kissed heavily as they got naked. He leaned his weight over her body. His large arms supporting him as he looked down at her. The lust in her eyes matching his and then he was entering her slowly. She gasped as his length pierced her waiting body. His eyes never left hers and once he sunk himself completely into her body, he groaned deep as he moved his mouth to hers and kissed her wildly.
Her body had so many different sensations going on and then he was upping the tempo of his thrusts. Soon she was crying out as wave after wave of ecstasy filled her body.
His grunts and sexual groans filled the room as he flipped them over and she straddled his body. This position did something to her, it made her wild with lust as she looked down at him. His hands stayed on her hips as he directed her over and over again onto his body. She threw her head back as she cried out passionately and then he was finding his release as he quickly sat up with his body still impaling her. He kissed her again as his body stayed impossibly hard inside of her.
She lost track of time as minutes turned to hours in the bedroom. By the time she rolled off of him, her body was deliciously sore. He looked over at her with sweat on his brow. “Ye are amazing.” He said honestly.
“I am? I mean my god Demetri, I think some of the things we did may be illegal in some states.” She said with a slight laugh.
He laughed too. “Aye Lass, ye may be right.”
She finally realized that he hadn’t bit her. It was odd to her. It always seem to go hand in hand with sex. He saw her pondering thoughts, but she spoke before he could.
“You didn’t bite me?” She said softly as he pushed a piece of her long black hair back.
“Did ye want me too?” He asked with confusion.
“Um. I don’t know. I just thought that.” Her voice trailed as the thought of Aidan came into her mind. He must have seen the look wash over her face because he leaned up on his side as he supported his head with his arm.
“I dinna want ta hurt ye but I did want ta bite ye lass. I still do.” He licked his lips seductively as he looked at her. Natalie swallowed hard as she looked at him. “I dinna need ta bite ye Lass. I wilna take from ye without ye wanting me to.” He added.
“What if I wanted you to?” Her voice was just above a whisper as she looked at him.
He moved his mouth closer to hers and he used his arm to scoot her closer to him. He continued to look at her as he lifted her leg over his thigh as they both laid on their sides.
“Please.” She whispered as she moved her head to the side. She wanted to feel his fangs against her flesh.
His mouth opened as his fangs descended and then he was moving the hair by her neck. “Are ye sure?” He asked, and she nodded her head yes. That was the answer he needed and soon his fangs were sinking deep into her neck as she cried out passionately.
Natalie’s eyes felt heavy as she laid against Demetrius’ chest. His fingers danced up and down her bare back as she felt her emotions starting to take over. She jumped up quickly as tears filled in her eyes. She was not about to cry in front of him.
Demetrius jumped to as she took off running into the bathroom. The second the door closed she looked at herself in the mirror as tears fell down her cheeks. The fangs marks still apparent on her neck as she touched them. Images of Aidan filling her head as the tears fell faster.
“Are ye ok, Lass?” He asked with concern from outside the bathroom door.
“Yeah, sorry. I just needed to use the bathroom.” She lied as she covered her mouth and cried quietly into her hands.
Meanwhile Aidan felt sick with blood lust as he rolled the motionless body of the young blonde onto the floor. All around him and Caitlin were about twenty bodies. His mind kept on going to Natalie. He had been shocked to see her and he didn’t know what the hell she was doing with Demetri. If Caitlin found out how much she meant to him then she would make Natalie suffer that much he did know. Caitlin literally had him by the balls. It was back like it was all those years ago. He was helpless around her. His hatred for her grew by the second and he knew that this time she would be more careful and cautious. What if he never had a chance to lock her away again? Would Natalie ever forgive him? He felt sick as he sat there. His shirt soaked in blood as Caitlin sauntered over to him. She too was covered in blood as she licked her fingers and grinned.
“Mi Amor let’s go for now.” She said as he stood and took her hand. The trail of bodies being left behind for them was becoming bigger and bigger. He knew that soon he would become the hunted.
Three Months Later
Natalie sat in the meeting with her Uncle and the rest of the team including her brother Sam. They all watched a recent video someone had captured on their phone of Aidan and Caitlin draining half a club full of humans. The video had gone viral and the United States Government was asking for swift action against the crimes. The human population was still somewhat under a cloud of deceit regarding the supernatural world but with more and more deaths and viral videos popping up, it was becoming harder for the government to cover up.
Natalie had been back in the states for three months now. She had left the morning after her and Demetri had been together. She couldn’t bear to look at him. It was just too weird now not to mention Aidan was out of control. She knew he needed to be stopped but the thought of killing him made her feel sick.
Her Uncle turned off the video as he ran a hand through his ever-thinning hair. His health was doing worse these days, but he refused treatment and he refused to stand down. No one forced him to either.
“I just want to say before everyone sets out on a witch hunt here that we all know Aidan, and this isn’t like him. That evil bitch is making him do this.” Sam said as everyone looked at him.
“Whether she is or not. He had free will and we all see from the videos. No one has a gun to his head or a stake to his heart.” Uncle Joe said as people began to agree.
Sam looked at Natalie. “ Come on Nat. I know you don’t think that he is capable of doing this. You saw him for yourself in Scotland. You said he wasn’t acting like himself.” Sam pleaded with his sister.
“Natalie is in no way able to make a clear-headed decision about this, I’m sorry sweetheart but you know its true.” Her Uncle said to her and she just rolled her eyes at him.
“Listen we all see what is happening here ok. Some of us don’t want to admit it but the sooner we do, the better we will be. The old Aidan is gone, and he is a monster now.” She said as everyone looked at her in shock.
“Are you kidding Nat?” Sam said in shock.
“I say stake them both in their cold dead hearts.” She said as she quickly left the room. Eve rushed afte
r her as Sam continued to plead his case to their Uncle.
“Nat! Nat wait.” Eve ran up to her friend.
“Please don’t give me the same bullshit about him being forced to do this.” Natalie said dryly as Eve got up to her.
“I wasn’t going to say that. I’m just confused as to what made you change your mind? Yesterday you were on board with Sam.” Eve said seriously.
“Yeah well in the last twenty-four hours I have watched six videos that show him killing helpless humans and even some fellow vampires. He needs to be stopped Eve.” She said seriously as she began to walk down the hall again as Eve stood there with a shocked look.
Natalie quickly got outside to her motorcycle. She felt sick and numb. She grabbed her helmet but before she got it on she heard someone call her name out, but it wasn’t just anyone. It was someone with a Scottish accent. She turned and saw Demetri standing there. It was the first time she had laid eyes on him in months. They hadn’t spoken since she left Scotland, but damn did he look good. He had even taken out some of the piercings in his face and his hair was a bit longer. He also had a five o’clock shadow on his face. He looked rugged and sexy as hell.
“Wow, all the way from Scotland!” She said in shock as she walked over to him.
“Well I was in tha neighborhood Lass.” He smirked some and she walked up to him. “Ye look good Lass.”
“You too Demetri.” She said as they stood there for a moment and then they did an awkward hug before pulling back. “So really just in town?” She raised an eyebrow. Her curiosity was peaked.
“I may have lied a wee bit Lass, Ye Uncle called me in about tha current situation.” He said seriously.
“Ah yes, rogue vampires on a killing spree. Welcome to the United States of America.” She said dryly.
“Ye ride this?” He asked as he changed the subject and he pointed to her bike.
“Sure do.” She smirked. “Maybe I can take you for a ride later.”
“Take me fer a ride?” He raised an eyebrow at her and she began to laugh nervously as she blushed.
