Taming The Bear: A Bad Boy MC Romance Novel (Lucifer's Lair Novel Book 1) Page 5

by Eden Rose

The sounds of cheering and shouting is what broke our kiss up and I instantly miss his lips. He has such nice and full lips that feel amazing pressed against mine. I can’t help it, but I chase after his lips for just a second and he kisses me again.

This time is different. His hands are digging into the flesh of my ass and he holding me closer to him. Our tongues tangle together and my breathing gets heavier and heavier but I can’t stop it. I unknowingly begin to rub my pussy against his hard on and he pushes himself into me more.

“Damn! Bear! Let her breathe! Fuck!” A man yells from the outside of the room.

Embarrassed, I back out of the kiss and bury my face in his vest- shit, cut. “Oh god,” I murmur in his leather. I can’t believe I just threw myself at him.

He whispers in my ear: “Not one of these people in here think you are a bad person. I definitely enjoyed that kiss. Now chill out and enjoy the party!”

Just like that, all of my worries and embarrassment faded away and I begin to laugh at what everyone was saying.

“Hey, Pinky. I’m Rabies,” a Hispanic man says to me as he walks up. He’s about my height and maybe two hundred pounds of pure muscle.

I stifle a laugh and then Joe comes up towards me and places a hand on my hip. “Ask him how he got his name, baby.”

I raise an eyebrow and Rabies started chuckling. “Fuck you, prez. I didn’t fuck those wild dogs!”

“Now I need some explanations!” I say and start laughing at him more. I’m feeling much more at ease and it’s making me feel like I’m not such an outsider anymore.

However, I’m here to do a job. Not get attached.

After one day with Joe and all of his friends, I feel as if that second part isn’t true.

  The Bear

This woman is definitely more than I thought she was when I first met her today. Granted, it’s not as if I’ve known her for long but she’s funny as fuck.

Watching her interact with my brothers and their old ladies is making me wonder if I could do it. The settling down thing. Do I have it in me to faithful to one girl? I don’t even know if monogamy is my thing.

Rabies is trying so fucking hard to make his story sound better than what it actually was. Chantal’s laugh is probably the cutest fucking thing ever.

“So, I was getting busy with these girls…”

“Girls?” She asks and stretches out the “s.”

“Yeah. And I guess a few of them were ugly. The guys call the ugly girls wild dogs. After I got done fucking them for hours, one bit me. Yeah, that’s why they call me Rabies.”

“Hours?” I question him and raise my eyebrow. Rabies likes to over exaggerate his sexual prowess.

He punches me in the arm and then flips me off. “Yeah, hours. Let me take your girl for the night and she can tell you all about it!”

I’m surprised that I’m actually feeling jealousy over Chantal being with someone other than me and I hate it. I hired her to do a job and that’s what she’s here to do.

  “Yeah right!”

For the next two hours, the guys come up and introduce themselves to Chantal. She’s nice and listens to everything they say but I could tell that she’s getting worn out because she’s bobbing into me more.

“Ready for bed?” I ask her.

She nods her head and then kisses my cheek. “Yeah, I will just go to bed and see you in the morning.”

Before I say anything, she’s down the hallway and out of my sight.

“Damn, prez. She’s amazing. Where did you find her?” Q Ball asks as he looks after her.

I shrug and then down my beer. Q Ball prospected with me and we are about the same age but he’s hardened. His mom was a prostitute and brought all of her fucking johns home with her. Needless to say, my brother, Q Ball, had to grow up a lot quicker.

“I’m going to bed. Keep the volume low and let me know who you got to be the new stripper. I want her to be younger and looking clean. You got me?” I tell him and look him straight in his glossy eyes.

He salutes me with his middle finger and strolls off to find himself a piece of ass for the night. Q Ball is a decent guy and a hard working son of a bitch, but there are times I wonder if he’s got everything together. I don’t know how to explain it. It’s like he’s suffering and trying to get out of his head.

I walk into my room and see Chantal putting all of her equipment together. She’s wearing a tank top and little shorts that don’t cover much of her thighs that I can see.

My floor is covered with her computer, files and hard drives and she’s at work figuring everything out. “Anything I can do to help you?” I ask her.

Like fuck the shit out of you and then have you suck my come and your juices off of my dick?

Damn, it’s going to be a long night!

She places her hand over her heart and then looks up at me like I scared the shit out of her. “God damn it. We need to tie a bell around your neck.”

“Not going to happen, baby. You need help?”

“Nah, I got this. Don’t worry. I just need to plant bugs in everyone’s computers and all of that. Are you sure you want me to do this?” Chantal asks as she looks up at me with her big green eyes.

I nod my head and then walk into my bathroom. It’s a hard thing to fathom. One of my guys is trying to stage a coup and there’s not a damn thing I can do about it. Someone tried to blow me up and one of those assholes are inside of my club. They have to be.

I know the risks that I’m taking by having Chantal here and looking over all of these computers. I know exactly what it means for me to have one of my brothers find out, but I have to do something.

Plus, I have to get ready for a run.

“Chantal, I’m going to be gone for a few days. I have to take care of some shit. Are you going to be okay here by yourself?”

She looks around the room and then stares at me with big eyes. “You’re just going to leave me here?”

I walk over to her and put my hands on her hips to draw her closer to me. Her sweet smelling head is right under my chin and I can tell she likes it by her nipples hardening against me. “You’ll be fine. Just do your work and everything.”

I didn’t sleep with her that first night because I wasn’t sure what I was supposed to do. Am I supposed to be all up on her? Am I supposed to wrap the beautiful pink hair around my fist and sink into her pussy? I don’t know.

The next morning, all of the guys are sitting around the lounge waiting for me to give them the instructions for the day. Before we go out on a run, I like to make sure that we all have everything under wraps.

Slice is the first one to say anything to me and he stands up to clap my back. “I’m surprised that we got you off the first lady to come for the ride!” He taunts me. Since we are about the same height, I just slap my open palm against his chest.

Slice is one of my better friends in the club and I couldn’t have kept my shit together without him. He was there the day that Dana overdosed on drugs and I lost my son. Slice is just a little bit older than me but I doubt that he would hate me enough to try and kill me.

I shrug him off and then smile a big I-Just-Got-Lucky smile to rub it in his face some more. “If I would have known that the chicks outside of the club were that tasty, I would have plucked a couple a long time ago.”

Flip shakes his head and puffs on his blunt some more. I know that traveling really bothers him because he’s more of a homebody. However, you lose your status if you can’t ride. “Yeah, yeah. Rub it in. You get nice fresh pussy and we get beat up pussy.”

Now Flip is another story altogether. I love the man like a brother, but he’s one of those guys who has a giant chip on his shoulder for some fucking reason. He’s a little bit younger than me and I know that he’s in this club life for real.

“Are we going to sit around and gossip like little bitches?” Smokey snaps at us.

“All right. It’s going to be a simple ride. We’re taking six kilos over to the Pl
ague and then we’re picking up ammo from the Indians.”

The Plague, or The Black Death- depending on who you ask, is another club about one hundred miles away from us. I don’t give a shit about them but my dad, the previous president before he got killed, made a deal with them. A truce or whatever. We help supply their people and they leave us the hell alone with our deals with the Indians.

The Indians are actual Native Americans that formed a club right between us and The Plague. They custom make their ammo which makes it difficult for police to track it. And we’re all about making it difficult for the cops to find our shit.

I walk to my bike that is parked next to Chantal’s car and I feel something a little funny inside. I don’t know how to explain it. But the sensation is so strong that I look back towards my window and see her standing there. She’s wearing little panties and a baggy tee shirt but she’s waving at me. The act of this is so domestic that I stumble a little. Is this what it’s like to have a woman actually care for you? I wouldn’t know.

Everyone of the brothers that are going, all of the patch holders and then some probates who we are about to push into the mix, are all sitting on their bikes and starting it up. I love the sound of the revving of the Harleys while we all get ready.

I take one last look at Chantal and see that she’s still standing at the window. I wave at her. She doesn’t wave back, though. I don’t know what’s going on with that.

I tie my bandana around my mouth and start my bike. The familiar rumbling of the pipes vibrates my whole body and I’m getting pumped to do this.

  Chantal

What the hell am I supposed to be doing in his room for a couple of days with no one here to talk to me? I have no idea and I’m already starting to lose my mind. Joe’s been gone for a few days already and I’m running out of things to watch on Netflix. Plus, I’m waiting for everything to load from the trojans that I have loaded on everyone’s computer.

With everyone gone, I sneak out of Joe’s room and then start walking down the hallway. I’m hungry and I haven’t eaten anything today.

Mmm. With everyone gone, that means I get to do a search of shit. And I mean, everyone is gone. Not even the slutty girls are here.

Part of being a P.I. means that I have to go through people’s shit and figure out what they are trying to hide. The first room that I come across has a big V.P. embossed on the door. I knock on it gently to see if anyone is in there. When there’s no answer, I try the knob. Finding that it is unlocked, I push the door open and am met with the messiest room I have ever seen. There’s clothes strewn all over the place plus used condoms. If I didn’t know any better, I would think it were a frat house or something.

I wade through all of the shit that is at the door and walk towards the bed. The bed is a decent sized one with silky sheets which makes me giggle. A biker wants silky sheets? That’s hilarious.

I listen to see if anyone is going to come through the door and when I don’t hear anything, I open the bedside table. Gross! Whomever’s room this is has a lot of fucking condoms. Who does he think he is? Hugh Hefner or something?

My phone buzzes in my back pocket and I pull it out to see a text from my best friend growing up. She’s one of those girls that always has something to say. I swear, you would probably think she was a slut from all of the guys she talks to.

JEN: what are you doing hooker? Craig said you’re not working or some shit?

ME: i’m on a new assignment. I will tell you about it later. Want to meet for dinner or something?

JEN: where are you staying at? I can come over

ME: I’m on assignment. Want to meet at Bubba’s?

JEN: sure, but you owe me an explanation

ME: what about dinner on me?

JEN: that works too. I’m thinking lobster

ME: i’m thinking you might have to put out

JEN: don’t tease me woman. See you in an hour at Bubba’s

Should I text Joe and let him know that I’m going out? Is that something that I’m supposed to do? Fuck if I know. Deciding that it would be the nice to do, I tap out a text.

ME: i’m going to dinner with my friend

JOE: be careful. See you in a bit

  ME: you’re coming home today?

JOE: why, baby? You miss me?

  ME: don’t flatter yourself

JOE: it’s okay. You go ahead and keep your secret

This man is like an emotional rollercoaster and I never know how I’m going to get off of it. Do I have the right to tell him I miss him? Is that considered to be really clingy and not attractive? To hell if I know! All I do know is that I do miss him and I can’t wait for his larger than life personality to be back. The clubhouse seems so empty without him and I feel empty without him as well.

I decide to leave this man’s room and go get ready to go to Bubba’s. Bubba’s is a fairly nice place with decent food and it happens to be Jen and my favorite restaurant.

I put on some makeup and then style my hair. Might as well look presentable. I plug in my curling iron in and then brush out my hair. After it beeps telling me that it’s hot enough, I go about curling my hair.

Thinking that I probably look all right, I unplug the curling iron and then slide my feet into some flip flops. With a quick look at the clock, I notice that I’m doing pretty good on time. I check my computer to make sure that all of trojans are cooperating and then I leave.

The empty clubhouse reminds me of a ghost town. There is literally no one in here. It’s making me a little nervous being here all by myself. What if someone breaks in or something? I don’t know where they keep guns or even if they have guns. I don’t know anything.

Stop it, Chantal! Just go and meet your friend.

Jen is waiting for me when I pull into the parking lot of the restaurant. The building is brick with trees that surround the whole building giving it a mysterious look. I’m happy that there isn’t a lot of cars in the parking lot because I’m starving!

“Hey, hooker!” Jen yells out at me after I park my car and get out. “It’s about fucking time! I’m becoming an Ethopian over here!”

I shake my head and then give side eyes. “You know that you’re probably going to get your ass kicked if you keep up with that analogy?”

Jen has bright purple hair with blue highlights through it. I love that she is a hairdresser because that means I get my hair done for free or pretty close to it. Plus, she’s an awesome colorist. Her blue eyes are twinkling with mischief in the light from the restaurant and I know I’m about to be grilled. Unlike me, she’s shorter with a small build. I joke and call her a Polly Pocket from being so tiny.

She shrugs and then tosses her hair to the side. She immediately digs her fingers in my hair and then begins examining the roots. “We need to get you in for a touchup.”

“Actually, I want to go this pretty red I saw the other day,” I don’t give her anything more than that. She’s a huntress who will tackle anyone for information.

Jen giggles and then pulls me into the restaurant. “I’m hungrier than a hippo and I’m ready to eat more food than I can possibly eat because you’re buying it for me.”

Thank fucking god that Joe paid me some of the money upfront or this would be a bad situation. “Yeah, yeah. I mean it. I want you to put out. Like give me head.”

  “Sure, sure.”

“How many?” The hostess with dark black hair that almost looks blue asks us. She’s been here for a while and I know her name is Alexis. I’ve heard through the grapevine that she’s going to school to be a veterinarian. “Oh hey, Jen and Chantal!”

“Hey, chica,” I say to her and then follow her as she leads us to a table. “We’re hungry. Who’s cooking tonight?”

“Yeah! We’re wasting away! You can see my ribs,” Jen quips and I pinch her arm. “Hey! That’s fucking rude!”

Alexis laughs her little fairy laugh and then sits us at a table. “Don’t worry. I’m familiar with her antics! Bill’s cook
ing tonight.”

“Yes!” Both Jen and I say at the time.

Bill is the owner of the restaurant and he’s an amazing cook. He was one of those chef prodigies that everyone talks about on Ellen or whatever. He makes phenomenal lobster and everything else here.

George, Bill’s son, comes up to the table to take our orders. I think it’s funny how they keep treating us like we are new because we order the same time every damn time we come.

“Hey, Chantal,” he says playfully and winks at me. He’s a cute guy and I’m pretty sure he’s my age. But, I’m interested in a broody biker that makes my insides flutter.
