He pops back up, laughing and blowing water out of his mouth before grabbing me and lifting me up. I laugh and scream, fully expecting him to throw me. But instead, he pulls me flush against his body and massages my ass and back, his lips working my neck to the point of agony. I press myself more firmly against him and pull his head up to enjoy his lips on my own. I mount him and slam myself down on his huge erection. His length fills me to capacity, pushing the edge of pain in the most delicious of ways. I pull back and moan, riding him slowly.

“Gino,” I whisper in his ear.

  “Rosana.”

“I love you,” I say, opening my eyes and staring into his.

He smiles as he holds my hips. “I love you too, Rosana.” He sets a frantic pace, pounding into me again and again. I lean back in an attempt to take him even deeper. I moan as he slams down as far as possible, hitting the perfect spot to send me over the edge of ecstasy. I scream out as the orgasm washes over both of us.

I open my eyes as our breathing evens out and smile at the delicious feeling of his softening cock still inside of me. I lean forward to kiss him firmly. “We should go find some clothes,” I say.

He nods, and I climb off of him and move to get out of the pond. He whistles appreciatively as I step out of the water, and I smile back at him over my shoulder. We cross back to the house together, hand in hand. Once back in my room, we explore every inch of each other’s bodies all over again. I discover some delicious uses for our magic, as Gino partially shifts in various creative ways.

In the shower, Gino uses his command over water to pleasure me in ways I’ve never even dreamed of, making me scream over and over. Finally, when I’m a whimpering mess of over-excited nerve endings, we wash up and cuddle in my bed. Gino wraps his arms around me as I rest my head on his chest, content.

In the morning, we wake with the sunrise. I venture downstairs to prepare breakfast. Gino helps me make French toast and bacon, and once Vittorio and Adelmo join us downstairs, we eat and plan to head back to Deepwater after speaking with Yari and arranging for her to come visit.

We drive through the day and into the night, stopping for gas and to rotate drivers. I find myself surprised that all three men actually know how to drive, given their apparent unfamiliarity with Earth. They must learn really fast. We pull into the overgrown driveway of the estate around eight o’clock the next day. As the tires of my little Ford Escort crunch into the driveway, an exuberant Yelena comes bolting out the front door, Kalino on her heels.

“Momma Rosie, Momma Rosie!” she shouts.

I smile at her beaming little face. As I step out of the front passenger seat, she energetically throws herself into my open arms and buries her little face in my hair. I hoist her up into my arms, hug her little form tightly, and simply enjoy her blinding presence.

“I’ve missed you, munchkin,” I whisper affectionately into her hair.

“I’ve missed you, too,” she sniffles. We stand there for a while before Gino comes forward to gently pry Yelena from my arms and settle her on his hip. She buries her face into his neck as Adelmo and Vittorio carry my belongings up to my room.

“She was really worried about you,” Kalino says quietly, nodding at Yelena, who is still clinging to her father. My heart fills with joy at the sight of the two.

“Have you guys been driving all night?” Kalino asks as we walk inside. He takes Yelena from Gino’s arms and settles her on one of the couches in the sitting room. Gino rubs a tired hand over his face and nods wearily. “You should get some rest,” Kalino says kindly. “I can watch Yelena. One more day won’t kill me.”

I smile gratefully at him, and Gino claps him on the back with a tired grin. He pulls me up the stairs and into his room, where he immediately strips off his shirt and pants, leaving only his underwear on, and falls face-first on the bed with a groan. I laugh at his childish behavior and climb into bed with him, yanking the covers out from under his massive weight with surprising strength. I stare in shock as he topples off the bed.

“Oh my god, Gino, are you OK?”

He stands up, his shoulders shaking with laughter. “I guess I forgot to mention that you’re going to be a bit stronger now.”

“Thanks for the warning, hun,” I huff, then yank the covers up to my neck. Gino grins and climbs into bed under the covers with me. A feeling of great contentment washes over me, and I drift off to sleep, feeling truly at peace for the first time since my parents were lost to me.

  Chapter 20 - Gino

I wake as the sun rises once more, Rosana tucked comfortably in my arms. I smile down at her perfect form and gently kiss the crown of her head.

She slowly opens one eye. “I could get used to waking up like that,” she murmurs, blinking the sleep from her swollen eyes.

I chuckle. “I could get used to waking you up like that.”

She stretches and yawns, then throws back the covers. “We should wash up,” she says and walks towards the bathroom. Once we’re satisfactorily cleaned, we head downstairs to find everyone gathered in the sitting room.

“Finally!” Faustino says when we join them. “Kal has some news for us that he’s refused to share until you two lazy dragons joined us.”

Rosana blushes and settles herself on the loveseat, pulling me down beside her. Yelena jumps up from her chair and launches herself into Rosana’s arms.

“What news, brother?” I ask, turning to face Kalino.

He smiles grimly at me before answering. “We have several things to address, the first of which is our living situation,” he begins. “I have been in contact with some legal professionals, and with their assistance, I was able to locate the owner of the estate.”

“That’s fantastic! But why do you look so morbid?” asks Faustino, frowning.

“Well, the problem is that the owner is deceased, and there is still a process where the state attempts to locate living relatives,” Kalino says. “Because of this process, there is going to be a delay in gaining legal rights to the property. I was able to procure the appropriate documentation to allow us to place what is called a right of first refusal on the property. Basically, if they find a relative, and they decide to sell, we get the first shot at buying. And if they don’t find a relative and attempt to liquidate the property, we get the first shot at buying.”

“Well, that’s better than having no options,” says Vittorio.

Kalino smiles and nods. “That’s my thought as well.”

“How long are they giving this process?” I ask.

“It’s a six-month process, and they’re in the fifth month, so only a few more weeks. Our legal counsel has assured me that, because of our improvements to the estate, we should be fine regardless of the outcome of the state’s inquiry.”

“Good. What other information do you have that requires a family meeting, brother?” I ask, watching our youngest sibling carefully.

Kalino grins. “Well, I spoke with Emiliano and Ella today …” He pauses dramatically, causing me to quirk an eyebrow in irritation. “They will be here in three days. They’re on their first plane as we speak. They have a few stops along the way, something called layovers. I’ve arranged to have them picked up from the airport and driven here.”

Yelena jumps up excitedly, and my brothers and I smile at each other. Even though none of us would admit to it, we’ve missed our eldest brother.

“Well, I guess I should start planning a welcome home feast then!” Rosana says nervously.

“Don’t worry, Rosana. Emiliano will love you, and I’m sure you’ll love him too,” I reassure her and pat her knee. I turn back to Kalino. “Is it safe to assume that you’ve already prepared their room during our absence?”

“Yeah, I actually replaced a lot of the furniture in their room and finished the floor. I figured it would be bad form to have the king and queen sleep in a room with dry rot,” he chuckles.

“Is there anything else that needs attention in the main house?” I ask, looking around at
my brothers.

Vittorio shakes his head. “Since Kalino dealt with the floor in the master suite, we should be done aside from linens and things …” He pauses, looking at Rosana. “Hopefully, you and Ella will be amenable to dealing with those?”

Rosana nods. “I’d be more than happy to, though I can’t speak for your queen,” she says uncertainly.

“If you want to be technical,” Faustino drawls with a grin, “she’s your queen now too.” Rosana pales, causing the rest of us to laugh.

Adelmo clears his throat. “Actually … according to Yari …” he begins hesitantly, “Rosana is the queen of the spirit dragons … which would mean that Ella isn’t her queen.”

“It doesn’t matter,” Rosana says with a shrug, “I’m the last spirit dragon, so it’s an empty title.”

“No matter how you look at it, you’re royalty now,” Vittorio says, smiling kindly. “And besides, there’s still a whole planet of your kin out there, somewhere … I’m sure being the queen of the spirit dragons has some meaning to them.”

Rosana just chuckles, standing up and clapping her hands decisively. “Now that we’ve finished our little powwow,” she says, “let’s make breakfast! I don’t know about you guys, but I’m starving.”

My brothers rumble out various agreements as I follow Rosana and Yelena into the kitchen, humming contently.

We fall back into a routine of eating and cleaning, adding in some time for lessons. Adelmo and I teach Rosana and Yelena how to control their substantial powers for a couple of hours each morning. Other than that, we work on straightening the house in preparation for Emiliano.

Rosana decides to prepare an elaborate meal for Emiliano and Ella’s arrival, despite our assurances that it’s unnecessary. On the day of their arrival, she spends several hours cooking with myself, Yelena, and Vittorio helping out. She puts me to work cutting vegetables and preparing a salad with leafy greens, strawberries, and cheese. She has Yelena wash vegetables, a chair pulled up to the sink so she can reach. Vittorio mans the stove, stirring various pots on command while Rosana seasons and prepares the remaining portions of the meal. She has Kalino hang decorations that say, ‘Welcome Home!’ and assigns Adelmo to vacuum the house. I enjoy watching her order everyone around, my queen ruling over her little queendom. When Faustino arrives home from work, she checks with Kalino.

“How long do we have until they arrive?” she asks, wringing her hands nervously.

  “About an hour,” he says.

“Good. Everyone go get changed!” she demands, glaring at us. “Dinner is made, so we just need to make ourselves presentable.”

“You know all of this really isn’t necessary, Rosana,” Faustino says in exasperation.

But she just glares at him and points up the stairs. We all laugh and file in after him to change into the slacks and button-up shirts that Rosana purchased the day before. With about ten minutes to spare, we gather downstairs and stand in the hallway. Rosana and Yelena walk down the stairs, hand in hand, and wearing matching violet dresses with crimson accents. All I can do is stare at them, unable to believe that these two amazing women are right here with me. As they reach the base of the stairs, I take Rosana’s hand and kiss it gently.

“You look amazing, love,” I whisper in her ear.

She smiles at me and leads everyone to the front porch just when a vehicle pulls into the driveway. The driver of the vehicle steps out and opens the rear door, holding it while my brother helps his wife out. Adelmo and Vittorio step down the porch and walk toward the car, where they enthusiastically welcome Emiliano and Ella. Meanwhile, the driver sets some bags from the trunk on the ground, and Adelmo and Vittorio each grab two bags and take them inside.

The rest of us make our way over to the newcomers as well to welcome them. Ella’s attention immediately goes to my arm around Rosana’s waist. I grin at her, and she gives me a meaningful smile

“Gino,” she says, “it’s good to see you.” She turns to face Rosana, reaching out her hand in greeting. “My name is Ella. It’s so nice to meet you.”

Rosana’s nervous smile melts into something more genuine as she clasps Ella’s hand. “Hi, I’m Rosana. I’m glad that you’ve finally made it home! Are you hungry?”

“Starving, actually,” Ella says as she ruffles Yelena’s hair. “I’ve never been quite as hungry as I have been this last month or so.” She frowns a little, but Yelena giggles and claps her little hands.

“Cousin Casmir!” she exclaims, then turns on her heel and races inside, leaving Ella, who is looking confused, behind.

A strong hand claps on my shoulder, and I turn around to find Emiliano standing before me.

“Brother!” he exclaims. “It’s good to see you!”

“Emiliano! I’m so glad you made it here.” I hug him, feeling relieved to finally see him again.

“And you must be Rosana,” he says to a shy Rosana and takes her hand in his to place a kingly kiss on her knuckles. “My brothers have told me quite a bit about you. I’m honored to be in your presence.”

Rosana lets out a startled laugh. “You’re the king!”

“And you’re a queen,” replies Emiliano with a grin. “Kalino tells me that you’ve had my brothers cleaning and cooking all day?”

Rosana smiles. “Yes. I wanted to make sure you two had a nice evening after all of the traveling. I guessed that you’d be hungry.”

“You would have guessed right then. I’m quite excited to enjoy the feast that you’ve prepared,” he says with a smile and follows Rosana into the house while admiring the decorations.

“Have a seat, and I’ll bring dinner out,” Rosana says.

I follow her into the kitchen and help her carry out bowls of delicious smelling food. Once all of the food is out, we sit at our usual seats, passing around the food, talking, and just enjoying having our family whole once more.

  Epilogue- Rosana

We settle into a comfortable routine, Ella and Emiliano seamlessly integrating into our family unit. A couple of weeks into their stay, Ella takes a pregnancy test, screeching at the positive result while Yelena giggles and claps her hands, repeating her ‘Cousin Casmir’ mantra.

“How did you know that I wanted to name my son Casmir?” Ella asks her curiously. “Better yet, how do you know it’s a boy?” The child smiles mysteriously, tapping her forehead.

Adelmo, who has watched the interaction, chuckles. “There’s not much point in asking her. Those with the gift of sight sometimes just know things without really understanding the why or how behind it.” He scoops Yelena up and carries her out of the room.

“Those two are adorable,” I say to Ella.

“Yeah, Adelmo and Yelena seem to just sort of vibe on a different level than the rest of us,” she says, stretching her arms above her head.

I gently poke her slightly bulging tummy. “You’re beginning to show. I’m surprised you didn’t do the test sooner.”

“Yeah, well. So much has been going on lately.” She looks down at her belly and beams at it, then looks up at me. “You should go get showered and changed.”

“You’re right. I don’t want to be late for Gino’s birthday party!”

“Yeah, Ruth’s Chris is like a three-hour drive,” Ella says, shaking her head. “Kalino went all out since Gino never actually lets us celebrate his birthday. So Kal got 3 limos and booked us at some swanky hotel for the night.”

I laugh. “I’m looking forward to it. I still need to pack my bag, though.”

“No, you don’t. I already packed you one … I packed one for everyone, actually,” she says.

I smile, amused by Ella’s mom-like tendencies. “Thanks, Ella,” I say. “You know, I’m really happy that you’re here.”

“I’m happy to be here, too. You know you’re amazing, right, Rose?” she says.

I smile at her as I turn towards the stairs. “So are you, Ella … so are you.”

I walk upstairs and into my room, finding a gorgeous sil
ver and violet gown laid out on my bed. Set next to it is a pair of matching bra and panties in crimson lace with silver threads. I shake my head at the thought of Ella choosing such intimate clothes for me. She’s like the sister I never had.

I take a steaming shower, scrubbing every inch of my body thoroughly. When I step out of the shower, there’s a knock on my door. I cross to the door in a robe, my hair wrapped up in my towel. When I crack it open, I find a smiling Ella standing at my door, wrapped in a robe herself, holding up a bag of makeup and a garment bag.

“I was hoping you would be willing to get ready together?” she says nervously.

I smile and open the door further to let her in. “I’ve always wanted to have a girlfriend to hang out and do makeup with,” I say as she enters the room.

“Me too!” she says with a grin.

I slip into the velveteen fabric of the sexy undergarments as Ella hangs our gowns on the hooks of the bathroom door.

“We should hurry up so Gino can get ready in the bathroom,” I say, nibbling my lip.

Ella shakes her head. “No need. I sent him to get ready with Emiliano. You’re just as much a present for him as the boxes of goodies we wrapped!”

I laugh. “I guess that explains the lingerie!”

She giggles. “Absolutely! And let’s be honest, Rosie, he’s gonna love unwrapping you the most!”

We giggle and joke around as we get ready. Ella helps me pin up my hair in elegant waves, with little diamond rose accents. I smile as she pins a tiara with a violet star in its center on my head. “You’re royalty now, Rosana,” she whispers in my ear. “Tonight, at least, you will get to be treated like it.”

I feel gratitude at having her for a sister-in-law filling my heart. “We still need to get you ready!” I say, clapping my hands. Ella laughs as I help her pin up her hair and do her makeup. Finally, we slip into our dresses. Just then, little Yelena comes prancing into the room, a tiny version of my dress in blue and silver clutched in her hands. She smiles at us as she walks over to the vanity and sits down expectantly. Ella and I look at each other before bursting out laughing at her adorable antics. Ella crosses to Yelena and starts brushing her hair, humming happily. Once Ella finishes with Yelena’s hair, we help her pull on the dress and slip some shimmering flats on her little feet. She spins in a circle, giggling.
