Sunny took a few steps closer to me and reached for me. I stepped back.

“Please, Aiden, please don’t hate me. I’m so sorry.”

  “Give me a minute.”

I walked away, down the stone path that led to the beach. I could hear the skittering of jungle animals in the trees. I strolled further down the patch. The crashing waves got louder. The sand was cool under my bare feet. No one else was on the beach. I was alone.

  Except I’m really not.

I have a child. I have a daughter who needs me in her life. Because of her, I’ll never be alone again. I’ve loved Summer since the day I found out Sunny was pregnant. How can I be mad at Sunny when she’s the mother of my child?

How the hell am I going to raise a child with Sunny? We can’t even agree on simple shit like 2% or 1% milk. How the hell are we ever going to agree on what’s best for our daughter?

  Damn.

“You know,” Sunny’s voice came from the edge of the trees. “We don’t have to agree on everything, just the important stuff.”

I hadn’t realized that she was there or that I’d been speaking out loud. Sunny walked across the sand and wrapped her arms around my waist.

  “We can do this, Aiden.”

  “How do you know?”

“Because we love each other too much. We love Summer too much to fail.”

Sunny hugged me tighter. I held her back, thinking about what she said.

We do love each other, but not like how she’s thinking. Sunny came here to tell me more than just Summer is mine. She might not have said it outright, but she loves me in more ways than she could admit. One day, she’ll have to accept it and admit it. The universe is telling us that we’re supposed to be together. Neither one of us is going to be able to fight it much longer. I don’t plan to.

  “Guess what?” Sunny whispered.

“No. I can’t handle much more.”

“We’re moving to L.A. Can Summer and I stay with you until we get a house?”

“Do you really have to ask? Or is this your way of telling me that you already have half of your shit at my house?”

“The second one,” Sunny laughed. “I knew you’d say yes.”

Of course she did. I’ve never denied her anything before. Now, with Sunny and Summer with me, where they’re supposed to be, I can relax.

My song finally has an ending.

  Afterword

“Whenever they say it can’t be done, remind them they make a jellybean that tastes like popcorn.”

Thank you for reading Untitled. This book was so much fun to write and I hope you enjoyed it just as much as I did.

There aren’t enough thanks to all the musicians who inspired this book. From B.B King to John Mayer, from Jimi Hendrix to The Rolling Stones…every day I learned more and appreciated music in a way that I never have before. Music is the heart of my life and I’m glad to be able to share my favorites with you.

Aiden and Sunny are two of my favorite characters ever and I smile knowing that I’m the one who came up with them. If you loved Aiden and Sunny’s story, this is just the beginning! Sunny is too strong of a character to remain silent. As complicated as their relationship may seem now, it only gets better. Stay tuned!

BTW - If you enjoyed Untitled, it would please me to no end if you did me a HUGE favor. Go back to www.amazon.com and leave an honest review. Authors, especially Indie authors, live and die by their reviews. It will just take a few seconds but those few seconds really helps us authors in a big way. Thank you!

  About the Author:

I am not your average Romance author. My stories are about relationships, not only between lovers, but between family and friends. I believe in three things; true love, true friendship, and music, and that’s what you’ll get in a Jackie Chanel book.

I believe that not every romance book has to be that “Hollywood, hot pink, Roman candle fireworks” kind of love. I write real life romance because I know that not everything is “happily ever after”. There are arguments and break ups, and strong personalities. My characters are an eclectic mix of sassy females and alpha males who love with every inch of their heart and sold. It’s the perfect recipe for exciting, emotional, passionate, and dramatic romance.

I write what I know…or what I’ve heard about firsthand.

Love can sometimes be magic. But magic can sometimes be just an illusion.
