Bad boy ISO someone to make me behave. Punishments welcome. Strict Daddy Dom necessary. Will consider a pair.

When Champ reads the ad on the internet, the dragon shifter is immediately intrigued and contacts the boy who wrote it. When a quick phone conversation leads to the boy sharing his address, Champ heads over, unhappy that a boy would not only leave his phone number on the internet, but then just give out his address. When he knocks on the door, he’s ready to show this boy exactly what kind of punishments he can meet out.

Stephen would like to be a boy, but he’s been burned, and badly, in the past, so he’s not in the lifestyle anymore. All that changes when he answers the door and meets Champ. It doesn’t matter that Champ was expecting to meet Stephen’s roommate Marc, the big Daddy falls for Stephen immediately and insists that while there was an initial mix-up, Stephen is the one he’s actually there for.

Patience, kink, and confidence may not be enough for this Daddy to win his boy over, but add in the magic of love and dragons and it’s a whole other story.

  Chapter One

Bad boy ISO someone to make me behave. Punishments welcome. Strict Daddy Dom necessary. Will consider a pair.

Champagne purred as he read the ad, his prick taking notice. Oh yes, he was a strict Daddy and this boy sounded like a wonderful diversion.

Bernoise raised an eyebrow and grunted at him. “What’s gotten your attention?”

Champ shook his head. “Nothing.” This one was his. Berny and France could find their own bad boy to punish.

“You know I don’t believe you.”

He shrugged as he pocketed his phone. “That’s your prerogative.” He headed out of the penthouse apartment and only looked at his phone again once he was in the elevator on the way down.

There was a phone number with the ad, so he called it.

It took a few rings, but then he heard a curious, “Hello?”

  “This is your Daddy, boy.”

  “Oh, fuck me. Seriously?”

Yes, and he wasn’t going to allow cursing, and he was going to blister his boy’s ass for putting his phone number online.

“Language, boy. I’m on my way over—I need your address.” He waited for his boy to suggest meeting somewhere and not just giving a total stranger his address.

  “It’s 41904 Linc Avenue, apartment 8A.”

Son of a bitch, his boy wasn’t going to sit for a week. “I’ll be there in fifteen.” He cut the call off and stepped off the elevator, pulling up his Uber app.

His phone rang, but he didn’t answer. He was going to go get this boy and show him strict punishments.

It was ridiculous. No safeword, no names, just here’s my home address, person I don’t know from Adam. Very strict punishments.

His car arrived in a few moments and he got in, sat back, planning how he was going to start.

This boy obviously needed the firm hand he was asking for. He would introduce himself and find out what the hell the boy was thinking.

He arrived at the building that housed the boy, still worked up over the lack of care for his own safety this boy was taking. It made him glower and grumble. He took the elevator to the fourth floor, then went right, and there he was in front of 46A. He knocked firmly.

“Hold up! I’m coming!” The door opened, and a gorgeous young man, copper hair, one light blue eye, one dark brown—like his own—appeared. “Can I help you?”

Time stopped. It simply stopped, and the glow around this man pulsed, calling to him.

Growling, he stepped in, staring. “Daddy’s here, boy.”

  “I—are you looking for Marc?”

No. No, he was looking for this boy. His boy.

“Nope. You’re my boy—Daddy’s here. I just need your safeword.”

“My safeword? But I don’t know you…” The boy stepped away. “I don’t think you’re looking for me. I think you’re looking for my roommate, Marc. I’m Stephen.”

He wasn’t interested in any Marc. This was his boy. He could feel it with every fiber of his being. “I’m looking for you, boy. I’m Champagne and you can call me Daddy. Are you telling me you don’t have a safeword?”

“I used to. Not for a long time. I’m not a player anymore.”

“No, I’m not playing. Tell me your safeword.” This wasn’t some silly boy. This was his boy.

“Bubbles.” Stephen stood and stared at him, and he could feel energy pulling them together.

“Bubbles it is. You didn’t put in an ad online, did you?” He knew the answer was no. It made him want to snarl, that this Marc would act so dangerously and then duck out, leave Stephen alone to face the consequences.

“An ad? For what? I’m telling you, man, you’re looking for Marc.”

“I was looking for Marc, but then I found you.” Such a lovely boy, and the glow around him warmed Champ all the way to his bones.

“You don’t even know if I do guys…” Stephen was pouring pheromones, curiosity and hunger thick on the air.

“Boy, you are screaming for me with every inch of your body.” He knew Stephen could feel the pull—it would be impossible not to.

“I don’t even know you. You just showed up here.” Stephen groaned quietly, cock tenting his pants. “Maybe…maybe we could have coffee?”

“I was about to suggest that. Maybe something sweet to go with it, hmm?” He wanted to lick sugar from Stephen’s lips. He wanted to do a hell of a lot more than that, but he appreciated his boy’s caution.

“Let me get dressed. Can I meet you at the Second Cup next door? Then we can talk.”

He didn’t want to leave without his boy, but he trusted that Stephen was a boy of his word. Besides, he knew where Stephen lived. And while he’d come in loaded for a spanking to teach the advertiser a message, this was clearly not the boy in question.

“What can I get for you?” He liked the white hot chocolate at Second Cup himself.

  “Can I please ha
ve a white chocolate latte? I’ll be ten minutes, tops.”

“See you there.” He stepped back and let Stephen close the door, watching the glow of his boy until it was entirely cut off. Wow. That was… amazing. He couldn’t wait to start a relationship with his boy.

There was no doubt that this one was his. None.

  Chapter Two

“What the fuck did you do?” Stephen threw on a pair of jeans, shaking and confused, his phone on speaker.

“I tried to call him back and tell him I was at work. I didn’t think he’d show!” Marc was panicked, and Stephen didn’t blame him.

“You could have warned me!” Asshole. “You put an ad in for a Dom? Seriously?”

Surely he’d taught Marc better. He’d been a sub a few years ago, but he was too…too for anyone.

“I was a little desperate. I haven’t found anyone who wants to be my Daddy.” The pout in Marc’s voice was audible.

“And you what? Put our address online? I live here too! Jesus, Marc! Get a fucking dildo and cope!” He couldn’t believe this. “I’m going to go meet him for coffee and tell him to go away.”

  “But he’s mine!”

“Stop it!” The urge to say that tall, broad shoulders, super-studly man was his was huge, but he didn’t.

“You’re so mean to me. I don’t know why I put up with you!”

“You’re the one who put our address online!” He couldn’t believe Mark.

“Well, I put my phone number on the ad—I just gave him the address when he called and asked. I should have given him my work address if you’re going to steal him.”

“I’m going to tell him to go away and leave us alone.” Dammit. He was going to, even if the bastard was pretty and had mismatched eyes just like his—he’d never seen that before aside from in the mirror. However, he didn’t need complications.

“But I want him!” God, Marc could whine. He really did need a strict Daddy. However, an ad on the internet just wasn’t safe.

“I’ll see if I can find someone for you. I still have my little black book.” He rolled his eyes at himself and tugged on a sweater. “I have to go. Bye.”

He grabbed his wallet, his phone, and his shoes. Go down, turn the guy away, drink coffee, read a little, and chill out. It was a plan.

He got to the Second Cup and his gaze immediately found the guy—Champagne? Had he said that was his name? Really? Anyway, the studly Daddy was in one of the comfy chairs by the fire, two cups in front of him, along with two plates containing sweets.

“Hey there. What do I owe you for the coffee? Thank you for getting it for us.” Fuck, he could ride that man like a prized pony.

“It’s my treat. Please, sit.” The guy indicated the seat across from him, watching him. It was like he could feel the gaze as a touch.

“Thank you. That’s kind. I spoke to Marc. He’s very sorry. He’s at work this afternoon.” Being a shit. “He works at a stationery store. Really neat. Cards and stationery and fabulous pens.”

“I like stationery stores, but I’m not interested in Marc. Frankly, my plan was to blister his ass for risking himself and sending him on his way. Then I met you.”

“Well, I’ve read him the riot act for endangering himself. I’m sorry he’s a jackass.” He took a sip of his coffee, then hummed deep in his chest.

“I’m not. If he hadn’t been such an idiot, I never would have met you. And you are who I’m interested in.” Daddy—no, Champagne—reached out and touched his arm. “Very interested, Stephen.”

He sucked in a sharp, deep breath. Fuck him, that was like electricity. “I haven’t been in the lifestyle in a long time.”

  Years.

“You talk as if you’re a hundred years old.”

“I’m older than Marc.” And he was too old to be anyone’s boy. Too old, too bossy, too too too.

“You seem the perfect age to me.”

The strong fingers slid over his hand, warm and sure, making him shiver. His lips parted, and his cock went rock hard. Fuck, he had to get out of here, but he didn’t think he could move.

“There’s something between us, boy. Something we should explore.”

“We don’t even know each other yet. Whether there’s…chemistry.” God, there was chemistry, tons of it. Loads.

Champagne snorted. “Whether there’s chemistry? You can feel it, boy, as much as I can.”

“Maybe, but I’m not one to just jump into bed.” God, he wanted to though.

“I knew you wouldn’t have just handed out your address the moment I saw you.”

“No. No, never. I’m not reckless. Marc’s just very…spontaneous.”

“He’s going to get himself in trouble. His ad was right about something—he needs a strict Daddy in the worst way.”

“I’ll…I’ll do my best to find him one. I have a few contacts.” Maybe this guy could give Marc what he needed… His mind shied away from that thought.

“You’re not responsible for him, boy. Now, maybe we can talk about you instead of him. You’re a much more interesting subject.”

“Me? I— What do you want to know?”

“How long ago were you in the lifestyle? How come you left it? Do you not feel the connection I do?”

“It’s been a few years. I had a series of bad breakups.” He wasn’t answering the last question.

“That’s no reason to give up on what you need altogether. And I noticed you didn’t answer whether or not you feel what’s between us. That in itself is an answer. I know that you do.”

  God, Champagne’s gaze was intense.

“I just…it’s hard, you know? To disappoint over and over. It’s easier to quit.” He hid in his coffee. “And who wouldn’t feel something with you. You’re hot, charismatic…hot.”

Champagne preened, purred a little. “You said hot twice.”

“I did.” He shrugged. What could he say? It was true. “What do you do for a living?”

“I’m glad you think I’m hot, boy. And I, ah, inherited a lot of money. It lets me do what I want.”

“I’m a graduate student. Textile arts.” Whoa. Good for Champ— “Did you say your name was Champagne?”

“I did. My friends call me Champ. I also said you could call me Daddy. And textile arts. How fascinating. What kind of things do you make?”

“I make fine art, design fabrics, whatever I can. Champagne. Wow. Great name.”

“Thank you. My mother was very unique.”

“That’s cool. Are you close?” His mother had left him when he was a baby, and his foster mom was amazing.

“She’s got her life and I have mine. It isn’t traditional, but it works for us. Are you close to your parents?”

“My foster mom is great. She lives with her new husband in Germany. She emails me every day.” He wasn’t physically close, but psychically? God yes.

“What happened to your birth parents?” Champ wasn’t afraid to ask the big questions.

“No one knows. It doesn’t really matter after all this time, I guess. What matters is someone who wanted me found me.”

“Indeed. Seems like a very similar situation is happening to you again.”

“Oh, that was clever.” He had to laugh, had to, because something had to ease his tension.

“Oh… that’s lovely.” Champ smiled at him.

“What is?” He glanced behind him, curious to see what the man was looking at.

“You. Your laughter. A beautiful sound I’d like to hear more of.”

Stephen’s cheeks heated, and he met Champ’s eyes. “Flatterer. Thank you. Very much.”

Champ held his gaze. “It’s not flattery, boy—simply the truth.”

“I told Marc I was going to run you off.” Instead, he wanted to rub off on Champ.

“That would be such a shame.” Champ leaned forward and took his hand this time, thumb rubbing his skin.

It was like electricity bubbled up along his skin, making him buzz and shiver.

“I feel it too.” Champ’s voice was pitched low, deep and husky now.

  “Do you think it’s static?”

“It’s not static, boy. And I don’t believe you think it is either.” Champ held his gaze, eyes so intense.

“You have beautiful eyes. Like ice.” Even if they were different colors of ice.

“Thank you. Yours match mine and are also lovely. Even if you did change the subject.” Champ still had his hand and it continued to tingle wherever their skin touched.

“I need to be careful, you understand that, right? I want to just climb you and beg.”

“What’s holding you back? Who hurt you so badly?” Champ growled a little.

“I—” He felt a jolt of pure pain overtake the lust. He could remember the trio of Doms and their “intervention.”

No one will ever want you if you can’t change. No one wants a boy like you. No one can be expected to wait for you to grow the fuck up.

“I need to go. I have studying to do. I’m sorry. Thank you for the coffee.” He stood up, rattling the table.

Champ gasped, like he’d felt the same jolt and stood with him, hand moving to press against his heart. “What was that?”

“I’m not a good sub. I can’t be—Goodbye.” He dared to lean in and steal a quick, hard kiss before he turned and ran.

He made it out the door and was partway down the street when he realized Champ had followed him. When he heard the words called out to him.

“Stop, Stephen. Daddy says you’re wrong.”

“How did you catch me?” He stopped and looked at Champ. “I want—I can’t fall apart out here on the street.”

“I have longer legs than you, and in your heart, you wanted me to catch you.” Champ reached out and pulled him in against the solid body, the strong chest. “You can fall apart right here. I’ll keep you safe.”
