“Dre...”
“Yes, please,” she exhaled, answering the unspoken question.
Without another word, he slowly pushed inside her. It had been so long and he was so big that for a moment she felt like she might be ripped in two as her insides adjusted to him, gripping his erection as he moved. She groaned loudly, throwing her head back in both pleasure and pain. When he was fully inside he paused for a moment, kissing along her jawline and down her exposed neck, giving her a moment to adjust to him. Just when she thought she couldn’t take the wait any longer, he slowly withdrew from her, making her feel every last inch of him again.
“You are so, fucking, tight,” he said through gritted teeth. “Your pussy feels so good.” He thrust inside her again, this time a little faster, then withdrew almost right away.
“Just don’t stop,” she managed to breathe out. He grinned at her wickedly and picked up his pace.
He found his rhythm quickly, a mixture of hard and fast thrusts with a few long, slow strokes mixed in. He was hitting her in all the right spots, spots she didn’t even realize that she had inside her, making her whine and whimper with need. Trying to match him thrust for thrust along the way, she could feel the stirring of another orgasm building inside her.
“Kyle, Kyle,” she cried. “I think I might…” she trailed off, unable to finish her sentence from the glorious feel of his cock inside her.
“Oh baby, yes you will!” he growled. He reached down between them and quickly found her clit with his thumb, applying just the right amount of pressure, swirling it around with the pad of his finger.
That was enough to send her flying, and she screamed out a sound she had never heard before, something so incomprehensible she wasn’t really sure it was a word. She wasn’t sure if her eyes were open or closed as all the colors around her swirled into a bright light. This must be what it means to see stars, she thought.
Her orgasm seemed to be all the inspiration Kyle needed to pick up the pace yet again and drive into her even harder. A few more pumps and he groaned as he hit his own release, collapsing on top of her.
They both lay there for a moment, breathing heavy, letting their bodies return to their normal state. Drea’s thoughts raced, thinking about a thousand and one things all at once. Holy shit, that was amazing. I hope he doesn’t regret it. Should I be the one to break the silence?
“I can hear your brain racing, sweetness,” Kyle finally said, pushing himself up, rolling off of her, and standing up next to the bed. He rolled off the condom, tied it up and walked to the bathroom to dispose of it. As he walked back into the room, she noticed he had a washcloth with him.
“What’s that for?” she asked, feeling a little self-conscious.
“For you,” he said, climbing back on the bed. “Unless you don’t want me to clean you up?”
“No, I um, just wasn’t expecting it.” He reached between her legs again, this time with the warm cloth in his hand, and gently wiped her down.
“Well, isn’t that what all those men do in your books?” he grinned at her.
“My books? How would you know what they do in books?”
“I might have opened one once when I was waiting for you or something,” he said sheepishly. “I opened it up randomly and happened to land on a good part.”
Drea shook her head, laughing loudly. When he finished cleaning her, he threw the washcloth on the floor, and pulled back the covers on her bed, wrapping them around the both of them. He reached over her to turn off the table lamp and then pulled her in close to him so they were spooning. Feeling secure in his arms, his heat warm against her back, her eyes started to feel heavy. She snuggled against him, wanting to give in to the sleep she felt approaching.
“This is going to come off sounding cheesy and I might lose my man card, but I need you to know that what we just did—it means something to me, Drea. It means a lot.” He swallowed hard. “You mean a lot, and this wasn’t just about getting us off.”
“You mean a lot to me, too, Kyle,” she murmured sleepily. “But I enjoyed the getting off part too.”
He laughed softly, stroking her hair, lulling her to sleep. “I’m glad, sweetness. Because there is more where that came from. Promise.”
Chapter Fourteen
Drea rolled over in bed, finding herself alone. A momentary wave of panic passed through her until her hand glided over the currently unoccupied pillow and found a piece of paper.
Morning Sweetness - I didn’t run away, but I did sneak out a little early to avoid some prying eyes and dodge some questions we might not want to answer just yet. I’ll see you in the kitchen for breakfast. -K
PS: last night was amazing ;)
She sighed, reading the note all the way through a couple of times before finally placing it in the nightstand drawer. She was so relieved to find it wasn’t a dream, and that last night did happen. Grabbing her phone, which had somehow made its way to the charging cord on the nightstand, she turned it on, hoping she didn’t miss anything major. Other than a text from Simone about settling on a dress, an unexplained winky face from Dalton, and a “so, what happened?” followed by a few “???” from Leona, it seemed to have been a pretty uneventful evening. Well, for everyone else at least.
Sitting up, she realized she was a little sore from last night’s activities. She pressed her palms lightly against her chest, her sensitive nipples still hard from Kyle’s relentless attention. An energy flowed through her like she couldn’t ever recall feeling. She knew she should get up and go run, but the slight, although wonderful, ache in her core was enough to dissuade her. She scrolled to Leona’s texts and responded.
Drea: Morning
Leona: oh, look who’s alive!
Drea: Very ;)
Leona: What’s that supposed to mean? DID SOMETHING HAPPEN?
Drea: You in your office?
Leona: OMG, something did!
No, I’m down in laundry, India called out.
Drea: Be there in 10
Strolling down the hall toward the laundry room, Drea tried to hide the ridiculous smile she knew was on her face. It had taken her a couple of steps to tone down the extra little pep she felt on the way over here. She didn’t want anyone to look at her and think that something was up. But she couldn’t help the giddiness she felt. Turning into the laundry room, she saw Leona changing out a load of towels.
“Welcome to the Indigo Royal Fluff and Fold!” Leona sang as she looked up to see Drea walking in.
“Morning.”
“Don’t you look like the cat that ate the canary!”
“Do I? I was trying to hide it.”
“And what exactly is there to hide?”
“Well, Kyle and I talked last night,” she said coyly.
“Girl, based on that dopey look on your face, you did a lot more than talk,” she said, glaring knowingly at her best friend.
“Yeah…”
“Yeah?”
Drea nodded. She wanted to just word vomit the whole story out, but she didn’t dare just start unloading. Not without knowing who might be listening.
“Girl, spill, now!!!” Leona hissed, grabbing a basket of freshly dried towels and dumping it on the folding table.
“Are we alone?”
“Of course we’re alone, we’re in the laundry! Now stop stalling!”
Drea picked up a towel and started to fold, taking in a deep breath. “Where do you want me to start?”
“Well, I can assume he apologized.”
“Yes, he did. And the Prages picked that moment to get on the boat and disrupt the moment. But that actually was kinda cute, because Mr. Prage totally called us out on it!” She giggled thinking about the look on the older gentleman’s face when he looked at her and Kyle yesterday afternoon. “But then later, while they were watching the sunset, he kissed me.”
“Just kissed you?”
“Well, we were on the boat, working, with guests present,” she pointed out. Never mind that Drea was pretty su
re had they looked at those guests she would have found them making out too.
Leona just looked at her, waiting for her to continue. She pushed a stack of folded towels down the long table and grabbed another bunch to continue the fold process.
“So then when we got back, we grabbed some food from the kitchen and took it for a picnic out behind the cottage. We ate and talked and then one thing led to another…”
“OH MY GOD!” Leona whisper shouted. “You did not have sex on Big House Beach!”
“No, we made it to the bed.”
“Wait, hold on. You slept with him? Like actual sex, not just heavy petting until you both were happy puppies?”
“Yup. We kinda skipped straight to the good stuff.”
Leona let out a little shriek and scurried around the table. She grabbed Drea in a big hug, jumping up and down.
“Holy shit, Drea! How was it? Did it live up to your fantasies? Did you come? What does all this mean...are you together?”
“It was...I don’t even know how to describe it, Lee,” she said, stopping midfold. “Amazing doesn’t begin to cover it. It was like, a Lauren Layne book come to life. We were like, actually in sync with each other and on the same page.”
“So, did you come?”
“Twice. Turns out Kyle is really good with his hands.” She blushed at her last comment, hoping it wasn’t too much of an overshare.
“Damn girl, I’m borderline jealous. Of the multiple orgasms, not the Kyle part.”
Drea laughed. “Thanks.”
“You feeling okay about all of this? That was zero to sixty in like, no time flat,” she commented, turning serious.
“I am actually. And that’s not just the post-orgasm high speaking. Speaking of which, I had no idea that they were a whole hell of a lot better when not self-induced.”
“Oh yes,” Leona responded, waggling her eyebrows up and down. “You might want to take out your own trash though, so no one else sees what’s in there. Not that I think Margarita or whoever takes care of your cottage this week would say anything, but around here, with your uncles, you probably don’t want to take the risk.”
“I didn’t even think of that.”
“Speaking of your uncles, you plan on telling them?”
“We haven’t talked about that yet. Truth be told, we haven’t even really discussed if we’re together.”
“Might want to figure that one out.” She motioned for the towel Drea had stopped folding. She handed it over and leaned against the table behind her.
“Yeah.”
“But I’m so happy for you, Drea. I know this is what you’ve wanted for a long time.”
“It is,” she said, looking at her watch. “Speaking of uncles and Kyle, I gotta go meet them all in the kitchen for breakfast.”
“Kyle and your uncles together for a meal, the morning after he fucked you senseless? Oh, this I can’t miss.”
The two women walked into the kitchen, still giggling about something. Kyle looked up from the coffee carafe he was filling when he heard Drea’s giggle. The sound was music to his ears and sent a tingle down his spine.
Climbing out of bed while it was still dark this morning to creep back to his room was possibly one of the hardest things he’d ever done. Watching her fall asleep in his arms and feeling her lying there, snuggled up against him as they slept last night, had been absolute heaven. Everything about her had been perfection, from her tan skin, to her reaction to his touch, to the way that beautiful bare pussy gripped his cock while he was inside her.
He had to fight the urge to walk over to her, wrap his arms around her, and pull her in for a kiss. It seemed so natural to have this desire, but he was fully aware, out of the corner of his eye, of Miller standing at the oven. There was a part of him that thought about walking over to Miller and saying, “You know that girl we talked about yesterday? It’s Drea, and she’s perfect and I want nothing more than to sweep her off her feet,” but he knew there was no way it would end the way he wanted it to while he was still an employee of the Indigo Royal Resort.
“Morning, girls!” Miller called out, not turning around from where he was working.
“Morning, Uncle Miller,” Leona called out. “Kyle.” She smirked in his direction, giving him an I-know-your-secret smile. He shook his head—of course she knew.
“Leona,” Kyle responded, handing her a knowing smile right back. He carried the carafe over to the family table and picked up a mug, pouring coffee into it. He handed the mug to Drea, who took it, her smile lighting up her whole face. “Morning, Drea. Sleep well?”
“I did. Yourself?”
“Like never before.”
He pulled out a chair from the table and motioned for her to sit. She slid into the seat, trying to hide her emotions from taking over her face as she did. Trying not to look obvious, he did the same for Leona, pulling out the chair to Drea’s left and then sitting in the one to her right. Reaching over to her underneath the table, he gripped her thigh just above her knee and gave it a little squeeze. He could see the little shudder her body gave as he made contact, and he hoped it was because she was reliving last night in her head.
Vaughn, Simone, and Grayson all paraded in together and sat in various spots around the table. Vaughn was on his phone typing furiously while Grayson flipped through a stack of papers, furrowing his brow trying to make sense of something.
“Did you see my text about the dress?” Simone asked Drea as she poured herself some coffee.
“Yes! You decided just to wear that champagne one you have?”
“I did. It’s my favorite and what better day to wear your favorite dress than on your wedding day, right?”
“Perfect. So, what do you want me in?”
“I’m thinking black if that works for you. I figured you could pull that off,” she laughed.
“Absolutely!”
“Hey, would you two mind running a booze cruise today?” Grayson chimed in. “It’d be a small one.”
“Sure,” Kyle shrugged. “Something happen with Bobby or Kenny?”
“No, but somehow paperwork got screwed up, and I can’t figure out how, but basically, we have three scheduled for today. Good news is, if you’re willing to do this, I can make it so you have nothing tomorrow and Sunday, so you can take the Runnin’ as early as you want tomorrow.”
“That’s fine,” Drea answered, looking at Kyle. He smiled back at her, thrilled at the idea that they could have two whole days away, just the two of them. He just hated hiding said excitement in the moment.
“Where are you two going?” Vaughn asked skeptically, looking up to eye Drea and Kyle.
“I don’t know, we haven’t figured that out yet. But we have Sunday off so we thought it might be fun to go sailing, and Uncle Gray said we could borrow the Runnin’.”
“I was thinking maybe we’d head over to San Juan and hit up that empanada stand. We could bring you some back if you want,” Kyle injected, hoping the mention of Simone’s favorite street food would be a good distraction.
“I don’t know how I feel about the two of you being gone for an entire weekend,” Vaughn said.
“Why, you need her for something?” Miller asked, leaning over him to place pans of eggs and breakfast meats in the middle of the table.
“No. But just the two of them?”
“We’re right here, Uncle Vaughn,” Drea said.
“Oh no. Our twenty-six-year-old niece is going away for the weekend with her twenty-seven-year-old best friend!” Grayson snarked sarcastically.
“Well, when you put it that way.”
“She’s an adult, Vaughn. As much as it kills me, you know, having raised her and all, as your lovely bride-to-be pointed out the other day, she owes us no explanations,” Miller stated, finally sitting down at the table.
Kyle could feel the heat of embarrassment rising up his neck. He wanted to chime in, but he didn’t want to intrude on a family discussion. He knew that Vaughn had always been the seriou
s one in the family, the worrier, and that his overprotectiveness of Drea stemmed from his own methodical way of handling life. He also knew it wasn’t personal, that he’d be just as concerned if it were Leona and Drea going away for the weekend. Although if he knew all the things Kyle had imagined doing to his sweet little niece on that boat, he might never let him near her again.
“Can everyone stop talking about us like we’re not here?” Drea exclaimed. Leona looked down, stifling a giggle. “Look, if it’s that big of a deal, we won’t go. But we both haven’t had many days off lately, so when Uncle Gray floated the idea of a weekend away, it sounded nice. But not if it’s going to be a great debate at breakfast!”
Kyle inhaled slowly, and reached over to squeeze Drea’s hand lightly, in what he hoped looked like a best friend move and not something more. He wanted to lean over and kiss her temple to help calm her, but instead just kept holding her hand.
“Vaughn, Miller, Grayson, I promise to not let anything happen to your baby girl,” he said calmly. “Or the boat.”
Everyone at the table laughed, even Vaughn.
“So, back to the real problem at hand,” Grayson said sternly, glaring at his brother. “Booze cruise today? It’s those blondes and their meathead counterparts.”
“Ugh, no,” Drea grumbled. “Give us someone else. Make Dalton take them.”
“Dalton was specially requested by some very hot-to-trot old ladies,” Dalton said, referring to himself in the third person as he walked into the kitchen. He grabbed a mug from the rack and poured himself a cup of coffee from the pot.
“Well done, dude,” Kyle replied, holding out his fist for Dalton to bump. He saw Drea roll her eyes out of the corner of his and he laughed.
“Why, thank you! But that does mean you all get to spend the day with Staci with an i.”
“Is she gonna be less hot-to-trot today?” Drea asked.
