“Oh my God!” Melissa cried. “I forgot all about this!”
Naomi watched as her friend slid the heavy box out from beneath the big stack of board games. She was doing it one-handed. In her other hand, a rich, dark Merlot sloshed dangerously back and forth in her wine glass.
“Be careful,” Naomi cringed. She looked woefully down at her new beige carpet. “In fact, let me—”
“No no,” Melissa assured her. “I got it.”
Luckily she did. She dropped the game onto the coffee table without spilling a drop. Two big words stared up at them, all six of the remaining party goers: HALL PASS.
“Wow!” Melissa said excitedly. She turned the box over. “We got this for your bachelorette party, didn’t we?”
Naomi nodded down at the big red and pink box. It was still covered with hearts…. just like it was on the day she buried it beneath the rest of her games.
“Uh, yeah.”
“So why is the shrink-wrap still on it?” moaned Melissa. “You never played it?”
“Well…” Naomi started.
“It’s a couples game,” Corey said, coming to the rescue. Her husband was always good that way. “You ladies needed some guys to play it with you, remember?”
“Ah, that’s right,” Melissa recalled. Her eyes lit up as she scanned the back of the box. “But hey! We have guys here now, right? Three, in fact.” She pointed around the room, moving from Corey, to Gage, and then to her own husband Julian. “Let’s play it!”
A wave of panic rolled through Naomi’s stomach. “But it’s a sex game,” she said. The statement came out a little whinier than she wanted it to. “I think.”
Melissa dismissed her. “Nonsense. It says right here ‘erotic couples game’.”
“Sounds like a sex game to me,” chuckled Julian. He patted his wife playfully on the ass. “But hey, let’s do it.”
Melissa beamed. Naomi’s teeth gnashed together.
“I’ll play,” said Gage. He sat down on the floor, at one end of the coffee table. “Vicky?”
Victoria sighed. She hated being called Vicky, but Gage hadn’t been around her long enough to know that yet. He was a friend of Julian’s, and relatively new to their circle.
“Sure,” Victoria said, blowing a bubble and then popping it. She sat down cross-legged. “Whatever.”
Using one of her spiked fingernails, Melissa peeled off the shrink wrap and opened the box. Julian began reading the rules out loud. As the girls began choosing colors and setting up the pieces, Corey shot his wife a sideways glance.
“You okay with this?” he shrugged.
Naomi looked down at her friends. She’d never played an adult game before, and the prospect made her nervous. Even so, it could be fun. And she certainly didn’t want to be the one who crashed the party.
Besides, the two glasses of wine already in her belly definitely helped.
“Alright,” she said, smiling back at her husband. She sat down in the center of the couch — the ‘hostess seat’, as she liked to call it. “I’m in.”
Two
Fifteen minutes later, only half of them were fully clothed.
The other half weren’t.
“It’s getting cold in here,” Melissa joked, hugging her bra with two hands. She still had skirt on, but her blouse was long gone.
“Yeah, but look at poor Gage…” Julian laughed. “Just about down to his drawers already!”
Naomi took a deep, shuddering breath. She hadn’t lost more than her shirt so far, but she was still nervous. And not about the stripping portion of the game. That part she was actually fine with.
It was the Action Cards part of the game that had her scared half to death.
“Okay,” said Victoria. She reached forward and drew a blue-backed card. “Here we go…”
The other five of them huddled around, hanging on her every word.
“Spank Bank,” she read aloud. “You may bend the partner of your choice over your knee and spank them for one full minute.”
She looked around. All eyes fell on Gage.
“Me?”
“Well, you did call me ‘Vicky’ before…”
They all laughed. Carefully Gage laid across Victoria’s lap, right on the floor. She began spanking him as Julian started the cheap plastic timer.
Slap. Slap. Slap.
“C’mon,” said Melissa. “You can hit him harder than that!”
Victoria’s expression turned mischievous. She raised her hand and brought it down on Gage’s ass… this time hard.
SLAP!
“WOW…” Gauge grunted.
“That’s much better,” laughed Corey.
Victoria let him off the hook for the rest of the minute, spanking him lightly few more times for good measure. The little blind date Naomi and Melissa had set up for them seemed to have crashed spectacularly, though. Despite Gage being extremely cute — tattoos and all — neither he nor Victoria seemed to be each other’s ‘type.’
“Alright,” said Melissa. “My turn!”
She rolled… and landed on one of the spaces that required her to draw a card. So far her friend had only had to draw once. It had ended in her having to give a 5-minute massage to the player of her choice, and she’d picked Corey.
“Whoa...”
“What is it?” Victoria asked.
“If you’re not already topless, flash the player of your choice,” Melissa read.
“You’re not topless,” Julian pointed out
with a smile.
“Yeah, well I’m not flashing you,” Melissa chuckled. She hefted her red lace bra with both hands. “You get to see my girls all the time.” She turned at the waist, pivoting in the other direction. “Hey Gage!”
“What?”
In one smooth motion, Melissa lifted her bra. Her breasts popped out, and Gage’s eyes went wide.
“I like this game!” he declared.
Naomi noticed her friend was intentionally slow to put her ‘girls’ away. “Yeah,” she said with a smile, “me too.”
The game had been relatively tame so far — aside from the stripping, most of the excitement came from a two-minute finger-sucking expo put on between Julian and Victoria. But that was because they were playing with the blue deck. The red deck of cards — still in the box — was apparently really dirty.
“Your turn,” Naomi said to her husband. He rolled, advanced his playing piece, and picked a card.
Corey read it to himself first, before reading it out loud. There was a long, pregnant pause.
“What is it?” Naomi asked him.
“Uhh…” he looked down at the card. “Kiss the player to your right for ten seconds. On the mouth.”
Naomi gulped. Melissa beamed.
“That’s me!”
She turned, and presented her lips. Shrugging, Corey leaned in and kissed her. It was innocent at first, just the two of them sitting beside each other, lips touching. But then…
“C’mon,” Victoria urged. “KISS HIM!”
Grinning from the corner of her own mouth, Melissa began moving her lips. She churned them against Corey’s, and suddenly she was really kissing him. Naomi felt her knees go weak.
It’s okay, she told herself internally. It’s a stupid game, a simple kiss. Just relax.
There were five seconds left in the kiss. Four. The two of them were still kissing, their lips still moving softly against one another’s. Naomi’s whole body went tense.
Lighten up, the voice in her head ordered. It’s only—
In the last two seconds, Melissa opened her mouth. Her tongue slid out, gliding briefly alongside Corey’s…
As she did, her eyes shot sideways. She was looking right at Naomi.
“That’s it!” Gage said, manning the clock. “That’s ten seconds!”
Naomi watched intently as her husband and her friend broke their kiss, about a full second later than the timer told them to. Both of their faces were flushed red.
“Not bad,” Melissa grinned over at her. “Your husband really knows how to kiss!”
Naomi tried to smile, but her mouth felt wrong. She took in a deep breath and looked away. As she did, she caught a glimpse of Julian. He was smiling too… but he didn’t seem in the least bit fazed by what his wife had just done.
“Alright,” Melissa said, handing the dice over. Naomi accepted them mechanically. “Your turn, babydoll.”
She rolled… and landed on a purple square. Her heart — already racing a mile minute — picked up a few more beats. Purple meant she had to take off a piece of clothing and draw a card.
“Looks like you’re down to your panties,” Victoria chuckled.
Slowly, without really thinking, Naomi unbuttoned her jeans. She stood up and began shimmying them down along her smooth, tan thighs.
“Nice…” said Gage admiringly.
It wasn’t until her jeans were down around her ankles, and she was stepping out of them, that Naomi realized what panties she actually had on. She was wearing one of her smallest black thongs — almost a G-string, really. Thinking back on it, she’d wanted to be sexy for Corey later on, when they were alone.
She hadn’t dreamed she’d be playing this type of game… or showing her underwear off to
four different friends.
“Okay, now draw,” Melissa urged.
Naomi sat back down and picked up a card. She read it out loud:
“Closet Freak,” she said, reading the top of the card. She gulped, dryly. “Spend three minutes locked in a dark closet with the player of your choice.”
Everyone began looking around at each other. It was a good card.
“Pick someone,” grinned Melissa.
“And don’t chicken out and take your husband,” Victoria teased.
Gage elbowed her. “I’m thinking she should take you,” he told his raven-haired blind date.
“Yeah right.”
Long seconds ticked by, where no one said anything. Everyone was staring at her. Everyone in the room…
“Julian,” she asserted, looking directly at Melissa as she said it. Her friend stared back at her with a look that could actually pass for admiration.
Naomi stood and extended one hand to her friend’s husband. He reached out and took it.
“C’mon. Let’s go.”
Three
The inside of the closet was its own silent world, all warm and cozy and dark.
No, not dark.
Pitch black.
Gage’s voice rang out from the other room, muffled severely through the closet door. “Okay! Timer’s started!”
Naomi stood there terrified, face to face with Julian. Or at least, she thought she was face to face with him. Right now it was impossible to see.
“We— we don’t really have to do anything,” she said sheepishly into the blackness. “The card only said—”
Something shifted as he moved in close to her. He took her hands. Naomi felt butterflies bouncing around in her stomach.
“It only said we have to—”
A pair of lips brushed hers.
Julian’s lips.
Her close friend’s husband’s lips.
“I—”
He kissed her. It was hard and deep, totally passionate. Naomi felt one arm slide around her back — one of the firm, muscular arms she’d seen on Julian so many times before. It crushed her against him, even as his other hand reached up to ever-so-gently caress the side of her face…
“We… we can…”
He kissed her again, then again some more. And then something insane happened.
Naomi began kissing him back.
You can’t be doing this, her mind screamed. This can’t possibly be a good idea…
Her body however, argued that point repeatedly. And it had a damned good argument.
Stop… You have to stop…
Instead of stopping, Naomi melted into him. She felt the warmth of his body, his bare chest pressed up against her skin, against the sheer fabric of her bra. And down below… the rest of her body. Smooth. Bare. Utterly naked except for a tiny pair of thong panties.
The hand pressed into the small of her back inched its way lower. She didn’t stop it. Instead, she kissed him harder, her lips moving faster. In the darkness she imagined Julian’s ruggedly handsome face. His tousled, sandy blonde hair.
His eyes…
A tongue slipped into her mouth. She permitted it. Not only did she permit it, but she dueled against it with her own.
Naomi, stop! You have to—
The hand on her back was now a hand on her ass. She could feel individual fingers, clenching and kneading the naked flesh there. Probing her. Pushing their way even further down, further along the tight, supple skin of her most intimate curves.
She had to say something. Do something…
The hand caressing her face moved between them. It slid its way down her taut, trembling stomach. Naomi’s whole body shuddered. Julian’s palm glided across her skin, held tight against her belly.
Oh!
She felt strong fingers pierce the elastic waistband of her panties. His hand slipped downward. Cupping her…
Oh my God…
Naomi’s knees buckled. She almost fell. But Julian caught her. He held her pinned against him, still kissing her, even as his fingers moved of their own volition. Even as they pulled aside the thin strip of fabric that separated her from—
“Oh my GOD…”
She gasped as he slipped a finger insid
e her. He did it slowly, gently… dragging the tip ever so slowly through the wet shallows of her pussy. Naomi knew she was hot. Knew she was absolutely drenched down there.
She knew she should resist. Come up with something — the right combination of words maybe. Naomi even stopped kissing him for a moment. She opened her mouth…
… and in an instant, Julian had slipped one thick finger between her full, pouty lips.
The finger.
“Mmmmmm…”
Naomi moaned around Julian’s finger as she tasted herself. It was salty but not unpleasant. Musky with a tang of sweetness. Familiar, but vaguely so.
“J—Julian, I…”
He shushed her with the same finger, placing it vertically against her lips. Then he withdrew. His body left hers, taking with it all the delicious, blessed warmth. She was tingling now. Shivering all over.
“7… 6… 5…”
Naomi could hear her friends counting down. Her husband, too.
Corey…
“4… 3…“
She couldn’t believe it. It couldn’t have happened.
“2… 1…”
The door cracked open. Light flooded in.
“Time’s up!’
Slowly, putting an arm up to shield her eyes, Naomi made her way back into the living room. She followed Julian, who sat down before her without saying a word.
“Well?” Melissa demanded.
Naomi was stunned. Her expression was of a deer caught in the proverbial headlights.
“How was it?”
She tried to swallow but found she couldn’t. “H—How was what?”
Melissa snorted and addressed the others. “Can you believe this shit?” For one frightening moment she thought her friend was angry, but when she turned back to face Naomi she was already grinning. “You spend three minutes in a darkened closed with my husband and you can’t even tell us—”
“I’ll tell you,” Julian spoke up.
Naomi froze. Her blood ran cold.
“She was a total prude in there,” he grinned.
As the rest of his friends laughed, Julian stood up and took a deep bow.
“And I, unfortunately, was a perfect gentleman.”
There was another pause, and then Julian sat back down. As he did, his gaze caught hers. Their eyes locked for a moment, and in that moment she melted again. At the very corner of his mouth, Naomi thought she could detect a grin.
