“Let’s go home. The river awaits us. I don’t know if wild orchids grow there, but there are some beautiful yellow and purple trumpet flowers that are in bloom near the water.”
Wynona reached for my hand and smiled. She said, “Don’t forget about all of my wild orchids on the porch. However, trumpet flowers make music without having to sound a note. New flowers growing next to the old river will be music to my soul.”
