Thick as Thieves (Amish Lantern Mystery Series Book 1) Page 11

by Mary Barbee

Thank you to my friend, Jenny Raith, for not only providing the initial inspiration for this story, but for contributing so much to this book as my top advisor, my research expert, another content editor, my proofreader... and always my biggest fan.

And thank you to my sister, who I love just as if she were my twin. Our relationship made it easy to write about Anna and Beth’s adventures. She and I think just alike, we finish each other's sentences, and we are also “Thick as Thieves.”

  About the Author

Mary B. Barbee is the author of the novellas in the Amish Lantern Mystery Series. To Mary, the best mystery is one where every main character is a suspect at one point throughout the story. She enjoys writing novellas that her readers can't put down, providing an escape for a few hours - and always with a surprise ending.

When not writing, Mary is either playing a couple sets of tennis or a strategy board game with her two witty daughters and her kindly competitive mother. The five of them share a home in the Inland Northwest in the beautiful town of Spokane, Washington with their two really cute - but sometimes naughty - chihuahuas.
