“You’re free today?”
“Yes,” I said bouncing on my toes. “I thought maybe you might want to go and grab a hot dog.”
“A hot dog?” he asked, giving me a funny look.
“Yes, from the hot dog stand down the street.”
I made my way closer to the table in the corner of the room, looking over what I believed were architectural plans spread out across it. Ty leaned over me, caging me in, pushing his dick into the skin on my ass.
“It’s for a new commercial building we’re putting up on Walnut Street.”
“It’s huge.”
“Yeah,” Ty agreed.
“This is what you do all day.”
“Yeah, sort of, and many, many other things to do with real estate. We build. We destroy. We buy. We sell. We renovate. It’s a long list that goes with this business.”
“Interesting.”
He pressed his lips to the skin on my neck.
“Stop,” I whispered. “I’m here to take you to lunch.”
“We have food here. I can have something gourmet brought in.”
I spun around to face him, taking in his perfectly symmetrical features.
“You could be a male supermodel, you know.”
Ty hummed and kissed me hard, making a mess of my hair deliberately. I pulled away from him breathless and straightened my clothes. He stalked towards me. I backed away until I was pressed against the cold glass that overlooked the street far below. Then he kissed me again hungrily, pinning me still with his heavy weight. I felt a familiar ache begin to build between my legs, the longer we kissed.
“You’re going to mess up your clothes if we do this.”
Ty smirked. “I don’t care. I have five more suits here and a shower across the room.”
I let out a long breath when he ran his hands up over my thighs, wrapping his strong fingers around them.
“If you didn’t come here to fuck then I don’t know why you insist on coming here in a dress, with these fucking sexy garters on underneath.”
“They’re my clothes, Ty,” I breathed out.
He frantically unzipped the fly of his pants, holding his cock in his hands.
“Lunch,” I said firmly. “I came here to take you to lunch.”
Ty buried his face in my neck. “Pussy,” he hissed, as he slid inside of me, fucking me hard and fast.
I came in a few seconds, burying my cries in Ty’s tailored pin-striped vest.
He pulled out quickly, pushing me down to my knees. Then he settled over me finding the best vertical angle. He pushed his cock deep into my mouth, fucking it hard and fast. I closed my lips around it, still heaving for breath from my orgasm. I took him in, reveling in the feeling of his hot skin, brushing against my warm lips. I gripped the base of it, right before Ty smacked my hands away. He moved deeper down my throat causing me to gag and choke but kept going. I laughed, enjoying the assault to my face from his huge cock.
“I love fucking this pretty mouth,” Ty hissed out in a shaky voice.
All the muscles in his face were strained as he groaned and whispered things to me that would have given my mother a coronary. Then my mouth was drowning in a wave of cum when it spurted from the swollen head of his cock. I swallowed all of it but still choked forcing some of it to drip down the length of my throat. Ty pulled out and scooped it up with his fingers, wiping the dribbles all over my darkened lips and face while a sly smile spread across his features.
He pushed his thick fingers into my mouth and then wrenched me up from the floor, crushing his lips to mine, stealing my breath away. I opened my watery eyes, taking in Ty’s exhausted face.
“That was good, Mads.”
I only nodded. Ty zipped himself up and guided me to sit on a sofa in the corner.
“I will have food brought up in a few minutes. We can eat here,” he said. “After that we can shower.”

“Happy birthday, Mom,” Dylan said appearing behind me when I stood in front of the stove.
I spun around to look at him. A huge smile spread across my face when I saw the small box he was holding in his hand.
“What is it?” I squealed ruffling his thick head of hair.
“Open it.”
I unwrapped the paper and opened the small box, noticing Ty standing in the doorway watching the two of us. I eyed over the small pendant inside. It was a delicate gold ballerina.
“Aww, thanks,” I said pressing a kiss to Dylan’s cheek. “This is adorable.”
“It took nearly an hour for him to pick that out for you,” Ty added, stepping towards me.
“Happy birthday, Mom!” Kacey yelled, running into the room, pulling a bunch of pink and green helium-filled balloons with her.
Ty placed a small cake on the table and kissed me on the lips, before pushing the candles in it.
“This is for you, Mads,” Ty said placing another small box in my hand and kissing me on the cheek.
“Guys, this is too much.”
I couldn’t even remember the last time I celebrated my birthday, since I was always broke. It was so long ago. Now, this morning, I had gifts and a cake. It was such a sweet gesture. I sat in a chair, opening the small box, peering inside at the two-carat diamond earrings inside. Ty met my eyes across the kitchen when he grabbed a lighter.
“Thank you,” I mouthed.
Ty tipped his head forward and smiled. Then he lit the candles on the cake. Kacey climbed up in my lap, looking in the box with curious eyes.
“Those are pretty, Mommy. They’re diamonds for a princess.”
I laughed, squeezing Kacey’s little body in my arms.
“Are you going to put them on?”
“Yes, I will.”
“Put them on,” he instructed.
I changed my earrings, slipping the diamonds in and winding the clasps on at the back.
“They look perfect.”
Mason, Sam, and Carter gave me an approving nod and smiled.
“Okay, guys, let’s sing happy birthday!” Ty clapped.
The song was sung and I tried my very best not to cry but I still did. When it was done, we cut the cake, pairing it with ice cream. The seven of us played Scrabble and checkers until it was late and the kids were yawning.
“I invited your parents but your mom is sick with a bad cold.”
“Yeah, I know, it’s okay.”
“I was hoping they could come.”
When the clock hit ten, Ty uncapped a beer, offering me one. He took a seat across from the table, looking me over.
“Are you tired?”
“A little,” I said.
Ty grunted.
“Why?”
“No reason, it doesn’t matter.”
I bunched my brows together, watching him take long sips of the beer.
“I’m hungry,” he said giving me a smirk.
I cleared my throat and stood from the table slowly, heading upstairs.
CHAPTER FIVE
Ty
“He’s not coming,” Carter mumbled, kicking his school bag for the seventh time.
I rolled my eyes while the five of them patrolled the foyer, taking glances out the window, for almost the tenth time this morning. Dominic was nearly four and a half hours late and there was still no phone call to say where he was, or if he was coming at all.
“He is coming,” Kacey said holding on to her teddy bear tighter while thick tears threatened to fall from her eyes.
“Fuck this guy,” Dylan snapped, nearly shouting.
“Dylan,” I said firmly. “The swearing.”
“I’m sorry,” Dylan mumbled. “I don’t even know why my mother even bothered to entertain this, by giving him a chance.”
Because she’s a good person, I thought to myself, wanting to say it aloud.
“I wanted to go bowling,” Kacey whined. “My daddy promised he would take us.”
“Dad.” Dylan laughed. “Dad!” he said again, mockingly, shaking his head.<

I moved closer looking at the five of them, all dressed, packed and ready to go. Kacey wiped her tears and sniffled, standing closer to me. Carter grumbled something and walked off. I picked Kacey up, cradling her to my shoulder while she cried. Then she gave me a look that broke my heart for her.
“Why doesn’t he want me?” Kacey asked.
“He does want you, Kacey.”
“He doesn’t want any of us,” Mason and Sam said at the same time.
“Guys, please,” I said softly.
The two boys only shrugged, burying their heads back in the handheld games in front of them.
“Your daddy loves you very much, Kacey.”
“Well, why doesn’t he come to get us? He’s been gone for so long.”
“Honestly, I don’t know,” I whispered, trying to cover up my anger as best as I could. “I don’t know.”
Kacey wiped her cheeks again, resting her face on my shoulder.
“Do you still want to go bowling?”
Kacey’s face brightened again and she nodded enthusiastically.
“Well, let’s go bowling then,” I said to her, grabbing my keys.
Ty
We’d been in Lucky Strike for almost two hours. Kacey grinned from ear-to-ear when I’d arranged for her to have a lane all to herself. I bowled between three lanes. I was exhausted. I rotated between bowling with Mason, Sam, and Carter; Kacey in one lane; and Dylan and me in another.
After the three games, I plopped down on one of the sofas, watching Kacey bowl for the next half an hour while we ordered food.
“Did Dominic show?”—the text read on my phone from Madison.
“No, we’re out bowling.”
“Ridiculous.”—Madison texted back.
“Don’t worry about it. We will leave here after they get dinner.”
“Okay.”
Mason and Sam plopped down on the couch next to me, giving me a sideways glance. Then Kacey walked over, squeezing in between them. I watched Dylan across the room, talking to a girl he must have known. Then Carter came to sit down.
“Are these all your kids?” the waitress asked when she came over.
I laughed, noticing how the four of them were watching me carefully, waiting for me to answer.
“Yes, they are actually.”
Mason, Sam, and Carter smiled. Then Kacey jumped up in her seat and kissed me on the cheek.
“You look way too young to have all these kids.” The woman laughed. “Okay, well what can I get you guys?”
We ordered pizza, chicken wings, French fries, meatballs, chicken nuggets and breadsticks. Basically, everything but the kitchen sink.
“Can we get ice cream afterwards, Ty, please?”
“Yeah, sure, I guess,” I told Kacey.
“Mason and I were talking, Ty,” Sam said. “And we decided that we really like you.”
I laughed out loud. “Oh.”
“Yeah, we do.”
“We hope you stay with us, forever,” Mason muttered, looking around at the flashing neon lights in the place.
“Yeah, me too,” I said.
“Will you and my mommy get married?” Kacey asked.
I gave her a surprised look. “I don’t know but I guess anything is possible.”
Kacey brushed her brown curls out of her face and stuck a chicken nugget in some ketchup, putting it in her mouth. Then she offered me a bite, which I gratefully accepted.
“Thank you,” I said.
“You’re welcome.”
“You know, Ty, whenever I ask you for something, you always say yes,” Kacey said. “And that’s what makes you great.”
I chuckled, looking at Kacey’s cheesy smile.
Dylan finally took a seat and smirked at me.
“Who was that?” I said jutting my chin out in the direction of where the girl stood who he was just talking to.
“Lindsay. I go to school with her. She’s here with her parents.”
“There was a lot of smiling going on over there,” I teased.
“Yeah, I suppose there was,” Dylan said.
“Dylan has a girlfriend!” Kacey shouted.
“No, Kacey, it’s nothing like that.” Dylan narrowed his eyes at me, sitting forward. “Do you think I could have a birthday party at the house?” he asked. “I could invite Jeremy too, since we’re pretty cool now.”
“I don’t see why not but you would have to ask your mom.”
“Yeah, I will ask her. Our old place was small and Mom never really had the money but maybe this year will be different. It would be nice if I could invite some of my friends over.”
“Yeah, I get it, Dylan.”
“Okay, cool.”
“Are you still going to take us to Disneyland?” Kacey asked.
I laughed and looked into Kacey’s angelic eyes. “I don’t have a problem with it but you would have to ask your mother first, Kacey. Remember, I told you that the last time you asked.”
“Could we really go?” Mason shot up from his seat, bulging his eyes out. Then Sam did the same.
Carter only sat stunned, staring at me with a huge smile on his face.
“I don’t see any reason why we can’t, but you have to ask your mother first, guys,” I repeated.
“Yes! Yes! Yes!” Mason and Sam fist-pumped.
I slumped against my chair, taking a deep breath.
Madison
It was nearly seven o’clock before everyone got back home. It was still freezing out and January had delivered nearly eight inches of snow already.
The children were full of pizza and snacks. Kacey was already asleep and Ty looked exhausted. I’d spent most of the afternoon at The Philadelphia Dance Academy, teaching a class of five-year-old girls ballet. I’d quit my job at the car wash a few weeks ago and was working at the dance academy, after a position happened to open. It was the best time I’d had in a while.
Zita had left for Maryland with her two girls earlier in the week. I knew I would miss her so much but she had to do what was best for her. I couldn’t hold it against her.
Felicia and Ray had been here a few times to spend time with the children. I visited them when I could. After eleven years of being apart, things strangely seemed to settle right back to normal, as though I hadn’t been even one day away from my parents.
I wrapped my arms around Ty while he stood at the stove this evening, stirring a lemon garlic sauce he’d made to pair with some grilled shrimp.
“This smells delicious.”
“It will be delicious,” Ty said.
We plated the food and moved to sit in the stools in front of the center island. I took a bite of one of the shrimp. It was mouthwatering. Ty gave me a lopsided grin and touched my lips with his finger as I chewed.
We ate in silence for a while, until I spoke.
“This is all so unglamorous, isn’t it.”
Ty laughed. “Honestly, I feel like a soccer dad now.”
I chuckled, putting a forkful of rice into my mouth. “Welcome to my world.”
“It’s not so bad, Madison. I didn’t have any of this growing up. It’s nice to have a family—to be together all the time, if you know what I mean.”
“Yeah it is.”
Ty finished his food and then swiveled in his stool to look at me. I kissed his lips and then backed away looking him over, trying to figure out the expression on his face.
“What?”
“Nothing,” he whispered.
“Are you sure?” I asked, scrunching my nose.
“Yes.”
Ty ran his hands over my thighs and then pulled me out of the seat against him. He slipped his hands up my shirt, caressing the soft skin on my stomach. I leaned into him, wrapping my arms around his neck.
When I opened my eyes, Carter was standing in front of us smiling.
Our new grey tabby cat, Biggles, was curled up in his arms. The fluffy animal let out a loud meow while it rested comfortably against Carter’s chest.
“Hey, Carter,” I said.
“Ty, can we make hot chocolate again please?”
Ty smiled. “Of course, but then after that, I’m going to bed.”
I laughed, tapping him on the shoulder and then headed upstairs.
Madison
“Ty,” I breathed out, looking up at him while the moonlight that shone into the room dusted his features.
I whimpered into Ty’s mouth, tasting his tongue while he pummeled into me. I held on to his triceps, enjoying the feeling of his hard cock, filling every inch of me. I kissed him again, sinking into the feeling of his heavy body pressed against mine. He was consuming me, claiming every single piece of me as his own.
“Mads,” Ty whispered moving slow.
His ragged breaths tickled my face when I looked up into his brown eyes.
“I love you,” I moaned, placing a shaky hand on Ty’s strong shoulder.
He shifted a little more in the bed and slammed into me with his hips. He grunted with each thrust and sweat dripped from his forehead and down his chest, turning his skin shiny under the light.
“I love you, Mads.”
Thick tears ran from the corners of my eyes, down into my ears. My thighs quivered helplessly, wrapped around Ty’s hips. He pulled out of me, tapping his big cock on the mound of my pussy again. The hot head of it brushed over my clit a few times before he pushed back in again, settling into a punishing stroke into my wetness.
The tension coiling inside of me was unbearable. Ugly noises left my mouth when he fucked me harder, giving me everything he had. He let out a loud groan that vibrated through this chest. I dug my fingernails into his skin, feeling my orgasm building. I was near exploding and I couldn’t hang on anymore. A loud gasp left my mouth when my thighs shook uncontrollably. I was coming, clenching and throbbing hard around his thick cock.
“Ty,” I called out, feeling myself fall apart underneath the weight of him.
It was never like this with any man I’d ever known, including Dominic. This was making love. This wasn’t the fucking we did sometimes. I was in tears and covered in sweat and the scent of Ty. I couldn’t think of a better place in the world to be than here with him. I loved this man. He was everything to me. Ty made me remember to live again, love again.
