Not done with me yet he frantically grips my knickers, yanking and ripping them from my body as he steps in between my legs after kicking off his own briefs. Pulling me to the edge of the bed and lining his still hard cock with my pussy, he impales me with one hard thrust all the way to the hilt, and I cry out as my hungry cunt swallows him whole. I haven’t been touched in two years, and my body’s extremely tight, needing to adjust to his size again.
As if remembering himself, Silas slows his pace, and moves inside me gently drawing out my pleasure instead of the fast pace I’m used to from him. Moving his hand under my shirt and shifting my bra, he palms my breast, tweaking my nipple as he moves deep inside me. Gazing into his heterochromia eyes, I see the love he has for me, and it makes me want to cry. I wrap my legs around him nudging him to move faster, and he complies as he changes his pace and pounds into my body, done with being gentle. This is my Silas. My mage, and protector of evil. I come hard with his name on my lips, and he follows shortly after filling me with his cum.
“Shit,” he says as he pulls out of me.
Laughing, I watch him as he stands and pulls his jeans back on. Moving back onto the bed he lays down, and gathers me up beside him.
Now since the sex haze has passed, and I can think clearly, I ask, “aren’t you scared of O’Donnell coming back?” I’m sure he hasn’t changed much in the last couple of years and a threat as powerful as I should not be left to my own devices for long.
“He’s too busy spreading misery around the world to worry about what I do. Plus I spelled the hallway leading to your door. I will know if someone heads this way,” he answers, softly kissing my temple.
“Aren’t you a cocky little shite,” I tease, turning towards him so I can run my hands in his soft hair. It’s a bit longer than I last remembered, but still the same lush carmel brown.
“I love you,” he says pulling me from my reverie.
I stare deeply into his eyes as I say, “I love you too.” This is the first time I’ve told him that. I’ve lost so much time, I do not want to continue holding my feelings in, just in case I never get the chance to tell him, and I’m guessing he feels the same.
“I was going out of my mind with worry the whole time you were under. It was fucking horrible coming in here each and everyday seeing you like that. The only thing that helped me through it is the fact that I knew you were alive, and I got to see you everyday. I don’t know how the others functioned not knowing what happened to you,” Silas says, pouring his heart out and surprising us both.
Silas isn’t the touchy feelly, lay your heart out on the table kind of guy. He likes to show his affection using his cock, not his words, but here he is laying himself bare. It makes me fall even harder for him, and I hate that I put him, or the rest of my guys, through the turmoil they must have felt for the last two years I’ve been under.
I know this has to be hard on him, and hearing it firsthand tears me apart. That this strong, beautiful man before me almost fell apart from my absence. I don’t know how I would have functioned if our positions were reversed.
“I didn’t even know I was out for so long until Cody told me in the dreamscape I pulled him in,” I answer looking down at my bracelet.
“So, he is the one who gave that to you?” He questions.
“Yes, and he filled me in with the little time we had. Two years gone, Silas. I’m still having trouble wrapping my mind around that, and the fact I’m still here trapped by that monster makes me want to scream. Why haven’t you guys freed me yet? Surely one human cannot be stronger than a whole supernatural force, can it?”
“It’s not that easy, sweetheat. The building we’re in is heavily guarded. No one gets in or out this place without being searched and then vetted by O’Donnell himself. The hallway leading to your room has more guards placed around it than the whole damn building. To say O’Donnell is being paranoid is putting it lightly. He’s made it literally impossible to get you out. If it wasn't suicidal, Hatter and I would have been broken you out of here,” he explains.
“Maddie was just here before you came to see me with O’Donnell,” I say, trying to find a flaw in his explanation.
“That’s because Hatter’s room is right next to yours. I told O’Donnell he’s your mate, and you two need to be close, or he’ll risk killing you.”
“And he believed you?” I ask incredulously .
“Yes, O’Donnell knows nothing about mates, and I wasn’t going to be the one to educate him on the facts. I need Hatter close to you, and it all worked out since he’s as much of a prisoner here as you are. O’Donnell stripped him of his position in the syndicate.”
“What?” I shriek.
“You can’t just fuck over O’Donnell, and get away with it. Not even Hatters crazy arse. If it weren’t for the bullshite I fed O’Donnell about you needing him close, O’Donnell would have gutted him for all the world to see,” he explains.
“What the hell? I wonder what O’Donnell has over Maddie to keep him from fighting back. He’s so fucking powerful. You should have seen the shit I could do once we fully established our bond,” I tell him as I remembered that I literally turned my body into shadows, which ended up saving my life as I fought Frost.
“That’s something you’re going to have to ask him. I don’t know how O’Donnell was able to get his hands on a full blooded reaper,” he muses pulling on my long blue braid. Thanks to this stupid metal band around my arm, the glamour I cast to change my hair color has shattered, and it’s back to the dyed blue color from before.
“Wait. Doesn’t he have two? Isn't Maddie’s crazy sister a reaper too?” I ask frowning.
“No. She’s half autumn fae and half human. I don’t even think those two are related. O’Donnell probably found them both around the same time, and grouped them together,” he answers, shrugging his shoulders.
Putting her hatred in perspective I see Maddie’s fake sister in a whole new light.
“No wonder why she hates me so much. I’m a half breed just like her, but O’Donnell chose to raise me as his own instead of whatever the hell he’s been doing with her. I still don’t like her, and wouldn’t hesitate to run her through, but at least now I understand her.”
“Well, O’Donnell doesn’t do much of anything with her now. He has a brand new, shiny replacement that he calls Alice. Alice is the one he invites into his bed at night, not her. The Red Queen is old news,” he says, smiling wickedly.
Silas is all out giddy over the turn of events. I wonder what Red did to him to make him hate her so much, not that I’m her greatest fan, especially after what she did to Hunter’s little sister. If Hunter doesn’t kill her, I damn sure will.
“You are quite the gossip,” I say, returning his smiling. I can’t say I’m surprised. Sooner or later O’Donnell was bound to get tired of her. Serves her right for being such a twisted bitch.
“Naw, I just choose to know everything that’s going on. Knowledge is power and all that,” he explains.
Exhaling, he turns to me, his beautiful eyes blazing a trail straight to my soul, and instantly I know I’m going to hate what he has to say next.
“I know you don’t want to hear this, but I need you to promise to stay put,” he says quickly, and I look back at him like he’s lost his mind.
Pulling away I narrow my eyes and gaze back at him just as intensely, but instead of love my gaze is full of fire. “You got to be fucking kidding me?” I screech.
Following me he says, “I’m afraid not.” Running his hand through his hair, his sexiness distracts me for a second before I remember he just said something incredibly stupid, and I glare back at him.
“Let me explain,” he pleads. I want to tell him to fuck off, but I nod instead allowing him to continue.
“It’s impossible to get you out right now. I already explained to you all the precautions O’Donnell is taking. He has no intention of letting you get away a second time. I love you, and I don’t want anything to happen to yo
u. Just gives us time to get you out, please,” he begs.
“Time. You guys had two fucking years. How much more time do you expect me to give?” I ask, still not believing what I’m hearing.
“I know you’re frustrated love, but we have a plan. Please,” he begs again. He looks so sad, and I hate it’s making me cave. For him to ask this of me, practically begging me. I know the situation has to be dire. That escape really is impossible. My impatient side wants to be free now. I don’t want to waste another second locked away in O’Donnells care, especially with what he has planned for me. I'm no ones whore, personal property, or whatever demeaning thing he thinks he can turn me into. I refuse to sit around quietly while he tries to sell me off to the highest bidder. I am death incarnate, and it’s about time I start reminding people of that, because it seems like the persona I’ve spent my whole life building for myself has crumbled.
“What if he sells me off before you guys can get me out?” Any man O’Donnells sells me to will only buy me for one thing, and it's not to sit and talk to them. I’ll be damned if I ever let anyone else touch me without my permission again. That part of my life is gone, and I’m still working on forgetting it.
“We will find you, and if anyone lays a finger on you, I will slit their throat and watch them choke on their own blood, right before I cut their dick off for touching what’s mine,” he growls.
“Fine,” I relent. I don’t like it, but I will do what he asks for now. I don’t know all the variables to the situation. I still need to gather more information. “I will do it your way for now, but if a chance to escape comes up, I will not hesitate to take it.”
“And I wouldn’t blame you,” he says, lightly running his thumb across the side of my neck, making my voice hitch and my pulse race. “You’re going to have to say Hatter left this mark on your neck. I can’t heal you with the nullifying band around your wrist,” he says apologetically, kissing the spot where I suspect a huge purple bruise is forming from his bite.
“That’s the other reason why you don’t want me to escape isn’t it? Because of this stupid band I can’t get off,” I mumble.
“O’Donnell is the only one with the key, and he wears it around his neck, never taking it off. We need to figure out how to get this off you without it, or kill him and just take it. Both solutions are proving to be incredibly hard,” Silas sighs showing me his frustration. Now I see why it’s taking so long to free me. We’re all in an impossible situation, and O’Donnell is the one holding the key, literally and figuratively.
“What about my wolf? What does all this mean for her? I can barely feel her, and it hurts. It’s like a part of me is dying, and I’m afraid she’ll take me with her,” I whine, voicing my fear outloud.
“I won’t let her,” Silas says grabbing my chin and holding firm, forcing me to look him directly in the eyes. "I will figure out a way to save you both, I promise,” he says, and as soon as the words leaves his lips the magic in the air binds him to his vow. Under his blue-grey eye a tiny black star appears, and I stare at it in awe.
“You crazy git. How are you going to explain that?” I question, rubbing the star with my thumb.
“I don’t have to explain shite to anyone,” he answers, kissing me hard until I forget my own name. “I need to go. I’ve already been in here too long as it is. I don’t need anyone reporting me to O’Donnell. Don’t forget about tonight, and please for the love of the Gods don’t piss O’Donnell off. Just do what he wants, so we all can make it through the night,” he says, getting up.
“Whatever do you mean?" I say, batting my eyelashes. We both know I have no intention of behaving. Whatever O’Donnell had planned, he can go fuck himself.
Shaking his head. Silas kisses me quickly before walking out the door. Alone in my room once more, I take a seat on the window seat and stare down at the people walking free below, wishing I was one of them instead of being locked up here.

Hunter
“How long do you plan on stalking her building?” Cody asks behind me, scaring the shit out of me.
“As long as it takes for me to find a weakness to get me inside,” I growl, annoyed that I was so preoccupied I let the bastard sneak up on me. I should have felt his presence when he was near, but I was too busy blocking everything but that building I frantically want to break in.
“We’ve already been through this. There are no weaknesses. That building is a fortress, and it will be suicide to try to go after her now. You’re going to have to see the plan through, and leave it to Silas and Hatter to free her,” Cody explains for the millionth time. We keep having this same old argument over and over again since I’ve been back. I hear what he and the others are saying, but I guess I’m just too damn stubborn to comply. I blame my wolf.
“Fuck the plan,” I say, just to piss him off. Remy is so close, and his wolf is agitated just knowing that fact. Turning from the tree a familiar breathtaking scent assaults my nostrils, and I take a long whiff in the fairy’s direction.
“Why do I smell her on you?” I growl, moving closer. Her scent is all over him, and it’s like a drug to me and my wolf, intoxicating us. We both want a hit, and bask in its glory.
"Whoa there, mate,” Cody says, taking a step back and throwing both his hands up. “She pulled me into her dream. I haven’t showered off her scent yet,” he admits sheepishly.
I don’t blame him, the lucky bastard. I wouldn’t either if I was in his shoes.
“So, she’s finally awake then?” I say, stating the obvious.
“Yes. She asked about you by the way. She was worried,” he says, breaking my heart even more.
She’s the one who's locked away with that monster. Two years of her life gone, and she’s worried about me. She should be pissed we haven’t been able to free her yet. She shouldn’t be thinking about me at all. I let her down again. I wanted to save her, and be her knight in shining armor. When I stormed out the beach house two years ago I did nothing but eat, sleep, and breathe trying to locate her. I followed lead after lead, no matter how small looking for her. It took over a year to finally track her here in Washington DC, to the expensive high rise towers O’Donnell and his people are currently holed up in. O’Donnell did well to cover his tracks, but with an operation as big as his, it was only a matter of time. Not to mention he has finally done something to piss off the whole supernatural community on this side of the veil.
Before, when O’Donnell was killing off whole compounds and committing genocide, no one was able to prove it was him who was actually doing it, but now there's enough proof stacked up against him that the higher ups can no longer turn a blind eye to the problem. Plus his involvement in kidnapping the children of two well known and prestigious supernaturals, and killing their mate didn’t do him any favors. Putting a hit out on Rowen and Remy, and later taking Remy has only added fuel to an already raging fire, starting a much needed uproar.
With the Valentine’s family involvement, O’Donnell’s movements in the supernatural community has become tense at best, to put it nicely. A war is about to start between the humans who know about them and the supernaturals who live here, if O’Donnell continues to hold Remy hostage. The delusional bastard still insists she’s his daughter, and she’s there with him because she wants to be. Of course no one has been able to speak to her directly since she’s been under, not that O’Donnell will allow it anyways.
“Come back with me. All you can do now is wait for the plan to play itself out,” Cody says in a hopeful voice. Do I really want to go back? I’ve spent so much time alone in my wolf form I almost forgot what it’s like to be human.
“And if the plan fails?” I ask looking him directly in the eyes.
Without flinching, or averting my gaze, which is brave to do to an Alpha wolf, he answers, “then we go in, and get our girl.” Satisfied with his answer, I leave with him, sparing one last parting glance at the building caging my heart.

My jailer has deemed me worthy to have a meal sent up. I’m just finishing up my dinner when a young girl who looks like she’s around thirteen years old places a garment bag on my bed. The girl is beautiful, with rich dark brown hair, and a gorgeous pair of hazel eyes. Her lips are full, and she has the cutest pert nose. She looks very familiar; although I know I’ve never met this girl before.
“Hello,” I say to her.
“Hi,” she answers shyly, turning her gaze to the floor.
“Hey, none of that. I’m Remy,” I say smiling.
“I’m Natalie. You’re really pretty. I can see why my brother is in love with you,” she says, a little more boldly.
“Your brother?” I ask frowning, and then it hits me. She’s Silas’s sister. No wonder why she looks so familiar. They share the same facial features, and her eyes are the same color as his hazel one.
“I’m glad to know it’s not one sided,” I tell her, as a big goofy smile takes over my face. When did I get so sappy? "What have you brought me?” I ask her, pointing to the wardrobe bag she’s laid out on my bed.
“That’s the outfit O’Donnell wants you to wear tonight. Everyone here has to wear a themed outfit when they go to the club,” she answers.
“Theme? What club?” I ask confused.
“O’Donnell has a club here called Wicked Fairy Tales. It’s one of the places he owns where his rich clientele buy girls, or guys depending on what tickles their fancy. All O’Donnell’s merchandise has to wear a themed outfit,” she says, looking at me apologetically.
