A Dom and a Sub to Love Page 15

by Eileen Green

Trying to move, the pain returned, but it soon dissipated as darkness overtook Victor. He knew he was going to die, and he would never see Eliza again. And, no one would ever know that the fucker before him had killed Bobby along with the other soldiers with him. God, why hadn’t he seen this coming?

  Chapter Fifteen

Now, evil stood before Victor, again trying to take his life. A presence behind him had Victor looking behind him to find Spencer coming through the door from the garage. “Great. You got him,” the Senator said quickly.

Victor let his gaze slip around the room, trying to find a way to escape this mess. He wasn’t going to die, not now since he found Eliza again and was madly in love with Todd. Plus, he wasn’t going to let these men win again. They had to answer for a lot.

There were three emergency doors, but they were too far away. They were standing between a scene space and an aftercare area. Nothing in this room had been moved around for this sting for no one thought this would go outside the garage area.

“What the fuck is this place?” Mark asked as he glanced around. He kept the gun trained on Victor.

“It’s a bondage club, asshole,” Victor quipped.

“A homo, and kinky shit,” Mark mocked. “Figures you’d be into this, too.”

Movement off to his left had everyone looking in that direction. Thomas and Gerard had emerged from the kitchen area, both looking surprised.

“I told you I heard something, lover,” Thomas said loudly as he looked up at Victor and his new friends. “Oh. I’m sorry. I didn’t know anyone was here. Let’s get out of your way. No harm, no foul.”

The two men headed towards the door to the lobby but stopped short when Spencer ordered, “You’re not leaving. Get over here, and no funny business.”

How Thomas and Gerard managed to look scared, Victor didn’t know. They began to walk towards the little group.

“Oh dear,” Jackson said as he rounded the back side of the stage opposite Gerard and Thomas. Now there were more people, and Victor knew it was going to be harder for Mark and Spencer to handle the situation. “I thought this place would be empty. Well, it should be empty. Why are you here?”

“None of your business,” Mark sneered. He pulled on Victor until the latter stood in front of him. Mark maneuvered until his back was to Spencer. Victor could tell that the two men were getting nervous and overwhelmed. This was not going to go the way they wanted.

Mark waved the gun over Victor’s shoulder. “Everyone up on the stage!”

All three members of the club began walking towards the stage, their hands up. As Victor watched his new friends, he moved his own hand out and grabbed hold of the gauzy curtain that was used for privacy in the aftercare area. Slowly he gathered it up without looking conspicuous.

“Gawd, more homos,” Spencer said behind Victor. “We’ve really got to get rid of these people.”

“Hello, Mark,” another voice sounded from the doorway to the lobby.

John Drake appeared there, impeccably dressed in a dark blue suit and tie. He seemed unrattled at the fact that Victor was being held by an armed man.

“Your boss said it took a bit to put all the pieces together, but here we are. There were some holes to fill in, but you just did that. Thank you.” Drake was calm, but Victor could see the man taking in the situation.

“Millions of Americans feel the same way we do,” Spencer pointed out from behind Victor.

“Perhaps, but they don’t break the law to get their point across. They don’t hurt others. This is America, Senator. It was built by different races, and different types of people, helping each other. History has shown that people like you don’t win with your small-minded ideals. You can’t beat down people because of their beliefs. Not anymore. We’re too knowledgeable nowadays. Besides, you’ve broken the law, many times over, and you’ve just admitted to the murder of Bobby Nielson and four other American soldiers. You both are under arrest.” John cleared his throat.

Clicks and shuffling sounded throughout the room as men dressed in black fatigues appeared from behind the multiple screens that divided the scene spaces with guns drawn. Semi-automatic weapons were aimed in Victor’s direction, and he prayed that they all had great aim.

Mark pressed the barrel of his gun against Victor’s head as he held on to Victor’s shoulder. He pushed Victor forward, but Victor stood his ground flinging his arm around so the gauzy material he held flew up and around the three of them. Mark loosened his hold on him, and the gun disappeared from his head, giving Victor the opportunity to act.

Throwing himself to the floor, Victor rolled into the aftercare area. He then crawled around the back of the couch as gunshots rang out. Cries of pain erupted and continued as men rushed towards the two villains. Victor peeked out in time to see both men go down, blood splattering their clothes. They were put in handcuffs despite their injuries.

Strong hands slid under Victor’s arms and around to his chest. Fearful for his safety still, he reached behind him, grabbed a hold of material, and then pulled the unknown person over his head, flipping them onto the floor in front of him. Guilt filled him when Todd landed on his back with a nasty “umph” sounding from him.

Scrambling to his knees, Victor leaned over to help his lover up. “Oh, God! I’m so sorry, babe. I didn’t know it was you.”

Todd gave a pained laugh as he let Victor help him sit up. “No problem.”

Victor looked up at the doorway to the garage as two figures emerged. Alex and Shane were removing the Kevlar vests they had on under their shirts although Shane had a bloody spot on his arm. Relief that they were all right flooded Victor, until he remembered he had also been shot.

“You know,” Victor said matter-of-factly, “I’ve been shot.”

“I know,” Todd said as he got to his feet. “I was trying to help you.”

“Good. I need it,” Victor joked.

Alex and Shane both moved quickly into the heart of the club to where Victor couldn’t see due to the couch he was behind. He heard a commotion and then Shane shout, “No, Eliza! You can’t!”

“Egotistical! Chauvinistic! Ugh!” Eliza threw her hands up in the air in frustration. She was pacing again and talking out loud to herself. She understood why she was told to stay in the room, but it irritated her beyond belief.

Plopping down onto the one of the chairs, she tossed her head back into the cushion. The men were downstairs doing god knows what because they left her out of the strategy meeting, and she was still stuck within these four walls. All the times she had thought about the private rooms, she never imagined she would be confined to one for several days. Red and gold were quickly becoming her least favorite colors, and she swore she would never step foot inside this particular room again.

When she had reconstructed her life six years ago, she had become a woman in control. No one would tell her what to do. It was why she became a Domme. She didn’t need a man in her life, but now she had two.

Was this all a mistake? One man was hard enough when it came to day-to-day life. Two was going to be impossible. Two men to tell her when she was wrong. Little time to herself.

Eliza knew she wouldn’t have to wait on them. With Victor’s submissive nature at home, he would take care of her. Both of them would take care of her, but the thought created an anxiety she hadn’t experienced before.

Life with Bobby and Victor had been heavenly. Despite the former’s dominant nature, it was mostly in the bedroom. Victor was a submissive, not a slave, even though she knew that was Victor’s choice with Todd. Eliza had made decisions freely in regard to herself and the ones that were important to the household since both men worked. With her taking classes, she usually had the afternoons to herself, so she was the typical lady of the house.

Dynamics within Todd and Victor’s household would be different since she now worked, and Victor stayed home. One of the discussions the three of them needed to have was what everyone’s
role was within her relationship. But overall, the men needed to understand she was not someone to be pushed off to the side and told to be the good girl.

Gunshots erupted downstairs, causing Eliza to jump to her feet. As much as she trusted Alex, Shane, and the others, she wasn’t going to allow anything happen to her men.

Grabbing her purse, she reached into the pocket where she kept her gun. Being a single woman and receiving occasional threats to her life, she had secured a concealed carry permit and bought a second weapon to carry with her. Unlike at home, so far, she hadn’t had to use it.

Thankful she was dressed in floral leggings and a pink tank top, she slipped out the door and down the hall. Voices filtered up to her as she reached the staircase, causing her to halt momentarily. Anger swallowed her whole when she heard someone say, “This is America, Senator. It was built by different races, helping each other. You both are under arrest.”

Bobby had been murdered. He was killed because of the man he was, not because of insurgents in another country.

With her heart pounding wildly in her chest, she literally saw red. Those fuckers downstairs had taken not one, but two of the most important people in her life away from her, and she wasn’t going to let them get away from them. They weren’t going to take away the new men in her life also.

Her feet were bare which allowed her to sneak down the stairs quietly. Shots rang out again, driving her to rush down to the first floor. Todd was trying to help Victor up behind the couch in the aftercare area while multiple men in black were rushing two men on the floor in front of the door to the garage. When she saw the Senator being cuffed, she rushed toward him. Raising her gun, she pointed it at the man who most likely had put the hit out on Bobby.

She was vaguely aware of Alex and Shane coming in from the garage. Both had weapons as did nearly every other man in the area, but she didn’t care. She wanted justification. She wanted revenge.

Aiming at Senator Spencer, she placed her finger on the trigger. The man’s eyes got large as he looked at her. Shane shouted out, “No, Eliza! You can’t!”

In an instant, Todd and Victor both popped up from behind the couch. Todd looked at her, surprise written on his face. “Eliza, you don’t need to do this.” He rushed towards her. “They’ve already confessed, and we all heard it. They’re going to be going to prison for the rest of their lives.”

“Babe, let the system do their job. We won’t let them get away with any of this. They killed Bobby, yes. But he will always be a part of us.” Victor was walking towards her carefully, his hands out in front of him. “I remember everything now, and I won’t allow you to tarnish his memory by ending up in jail. You have two men who love you very much and want you to be a part of our lives until death do us part. But you have to let me have the gun.”

Tears were streaming down her face at his words. He said he remembered everything which meant he was back. Todd was standing beside Victor now, worry on his features as much as his love. She wanted to take out the bastard who had destroyed her life, but standing before her were two men who were offering her a future. Two men who loved her.

Anxious faces surrounded them, along with several weapons which were directed at her. People had her back and she was thankful. Taking her finger off the trigger, she lowered her arms in defeat. Someone grabbed the gun away from her, and in a flash, she was surrounded by both her men, their arms holding tight to her.

She let herself cry as Todd and Victor soothed her with whispered words of love, devotion, and promises of the future. She knew she was in the right place now, with the right people.

  Chapter Sixteen

The past month had felt like a dream and chaos all rolled into one. After seeing Victor and Shane to the hospital to have their gunshot wounds tended to, neither one of them serious, Todd and Victor took Eliza home where she slept for nearly twenty-four hours. Once she was awake, the three of them sat in front of the fireplace in the living room and discussed their future.

Eliza had said she wanted to be in a relationship with Todd and Victor, but there hadn’t been any declarations of love except from Victor. It was time to let Eliza know how Todd felt. He took her hand in his and looked into her pale blue eyes.

“When I came here, I half expected to lose Victor to you. I feared his memory would return once he saw you again and he would push me away. When you passed out after seeing him and I held you in my arms, I knew what he had seen in you so long ago. I think I fell in love with you then and knew I had to have you in my life.” He raised her hand to his lips and kissed her knuckles. “Our lifestyle will take some tweaking, but it’s something we can work out. The other big issue we have is our living arrangements.”

“I really don’t want to leave here,” Eliza said before she nibbled on her bottom lip. “But, I will. I can build my practice in Virginia, and I can travel, like I already do for cases that need me. I just want to be with you both.”

“We’ve both worked hard for what we want, but I work really long hours and I haven’t been able to spend as much time with Victor as much as I’ve wanted, and I don’t want that to happen to us, too. I spoke to the hospital administrator while you were keeping Victor company in the emergency room. They were in need of my services here. I’d be the head of the department and be able to choose my patients. I’ll also be able to tend to my important patients back in D.C. when needed.”

Todd and Victor both rose up on their knees. Todd kept hold of Eliza’s hand while Victor took her free one in his. Eliza’s brows arched in surprise.

“I love you, Eliza,” Victor said with a smile. “I loved you before, and you had my heart when I didn’t remember you. And now, I love you as much as I love Todd. I want to take care of you as much as I possibly can, so will you marry me?”

Todd shifted slightly. “I never thought I could love someone one the way I love Victor, but you slipped into my heart. I promise to love you for the rest of our lives, and I want us to be a family. Will you marry me, too?”

  * * * *

Warmth filled Eliza at her men’s words. After Bobby died and Victor disappeared, she never thought she could love again. She was getting one of her men back and gaining a new one, and she really wanted to make this work. She couldn’t help the tears that streamed down her cheeks as she began to nod. “Yes,” she blubbered. “Yes, I want to marry you both.”

Both men threw their arms around her and held her tight. They had remained that way for a while before they all cuddled together. Todd had already mandated no sex until Victor’s arm was healed, so they enjoyed being wrapped in each other’s arms.

Four weeks later, Victor was directing the traffic that was moving men and some of the men from the club as they brought in his and Todd’s belongings from the truck out front. There was some nice office furniture that Todd didn’t want to part with, so they put that up in the one extra bedroom. Any lifestyle stuff was handled by the men from the club and they were the ones to put it in the dungeon room. It would take a few days for Victor to unpack everything, but Eliza didn’t mind having all their stuff there.

Once the moving men had left, they abandoned the stacks of boxes in every room and had a barbecue in the backyard with their friends from the club. Todd, Alex, and Shane attended the grills while the dishes everyone brought were spread out on the island in the kitchen. It was a beautiful day outside, yet very cool, but forecasters were already talking about a lot of snow in the next few days.

Their friends were scattered around the living room and the deck out back. This was the first time Eliza had had everyone over for she had kept her private life just that, private. It felt good to be sociable again.

She stood at the back doo
r watching several of the men tossing a football around on the large lawn and jumped when arms slipped around her waist from behind and she felt lips brushing against the back of her neck. Todd was walking towards her with a platter of piping hot steaks, so she knew it was Victor behind her.

He had really settled after their trip back east. While he was there, he gave his statement to the FBI about what had taken place the day he was beaten within an inch of his life which gave the authorities the ability to raid the motorcycle club and bring it down. The members rebelled and many were killed, but every last one of them were rounded up. The Senator protested his arrest, saying he was being framed, but Victor was able to fit the final pieces together and indictments were going to stand. Victor would probably have to go back to D.C. for the trials, but that was fine. Eliza knew he’d come back home.

Todd stopped in front of Eliza with a smile on his lips. Someone reached around her and Victor and took the plate from Todd, leaving him empty-handed. “Have I told you today how much I love both of you?” he asked as he slid his arms around the two of them.

“Yes. But, you can tell us as much as you want,” Eliza replied as she grasped the sides of his T-shirt and pulled him flush with her front. “I’ll never get tired of hearing you say it. I love you both so much. I never thought I’d be in love again. Especially with a dominant man.”

Victor chuckled in her ear before pointing out, “Just think. The Mistress found a Dom and a slave to love, and we love her with all our hearts.”

Contentment settled upon Eliza as her world came together. Six years ago she thought her life had ended. Now, she knew that it had been on hiatus, and once it came back to her, she was blessed with a new love, and the return of an old one.
