  BLURB

She was not my type. But I didn’t know what I was feeling as my heart raced, my stomach fluttered, and my member twitched when I looked into her eyes. All I knew was that I needed to make her mine.

She was a breath of fresh air.

I found myself in a difficult position.

She wasn’t like the other girls. She was different.

Corrupting her that first night was wrong.

Three years later and she’s back.

Can I keep my hands off of her?

  I didn’t have the answers.

  I did know one thing.

  I wanted a second chance.

Meeting her again gave me an opening.

Dinner was ripe with se*ual tension.

I had designs on making her scream my name.

What happens after? I would cross that bridge when I came to it.

THE ONE LAST KISS: A BAD BOY ROMANCE

  Chapter 1

  ~Edward~

  “Is she really for hire?”

That was the first question that came into my mind when she came out of the bathroom after taking a shower emerging through the steam like an angel from heaven.

She looked extremely beautiful in my white buttoned shirt. There was something about the way a woman wore my clothes. The shirt fell to her porcelain knees hinting at something underneath. I couldn’t take my eyes off her.

I kept looking at her without blinking my eyes as she walked slowly downstairs with her hips absently swinging to the beat of some unseen music. She kept looking behind her. Innocence was dripping down her milky white round face.

She was not too tall at 5’3 and 120-lbs soaking wet. Her deep sparkling blue eyes had something which made me feel the urge to touch her. Her long wavy wet hair looked amazing cascading like waves down to her waist. I was hypnotized by her innocent sex appeal.

Could someone be that beautiful? I couldn’t believe my eyes. She looked more like a princess. But I noticed this sadness on her face.

  Was she tired?

  Didn’t she find me attractive?

I couldn’t read her body language.

“Hey Grace, come and have dinner. We are waiting for you,” Frank said in a boisterous tone that echoed up the stairs.

“Please, join us, Grace” Ellie again said.

  *

Frank is my childhood friend. His father and my father are business partners. They are more like my extended family. We went to the same school and that friendship followed into the business world. As we grew up, we started helping our respective Dads in the office.

There was nobody I trusted more than Frank.

We used to hang out daily with new girls and some office employees during happy hour. We were found partying at clubs or at my house in Texas almost every night. It was a house with many rooms for extracurricular activities. There was even a ‘playroom’ down in the basement.

A huge part of our work involved travelling extensively to different cities. We had to communicate with clients and demonstrate new and innovative technology. We worked like a well-oiled machine to make our families proud.

This time we were on a tour to California. We owned a house in almost every big city and California was one of them. I owned my fair share of real estate that was mostly located on the beach.

Frank loved real estate and picked it up for a song in up and coming neighbourhoods that were in transition. He called it an investment strategy for the future. It was a risk.

We rented a car for five days with a navigation system to make sure that we didn’t get lost. We were on the way to Frank’s house. It was already midnight, so we decided to sleep in.

After working for three whole days, we were on the hunt the next night. We got ready putting on those finishing touches and there wasn’t a hair out of place.

We both had sculpted bodies and we made sure to look good for the ladies. 190 plus pounds and standing at 6 feet made us almost identical in every way. I spotted him in the gym and he returned the favor. We were each other’s motivation.

The big difference nobody was able to see was my guilty pleasure for tattoos. I hid my latest acquisition of a flaming red dragon on my left bicep. There was nothing that anyone could see unless they were able to get me out of my shirt. I had to keep a wholesome image for the business.

It was all business on the outside, but underneath there was a blank canvas covered in art that was begging to be appreciated.

Frank was standing in front of the mirror. The white tie with the dark suit and slicked hair made him look like a gangster. I tried to avoid wearing a noose around my neck. I was wearing a navy blazer with a red shirt opened at the collar.

“This has been the longest time that we’ve been without female companionship. I know that I’m missing the scent of a woman on my pillowcase.” Frank stated followed by a spritz of this very expensive cologne.

“It’s time to hear some lovely young thing scream my name on the tip of her tongue,” I replied while counting the disposable cash we had on hand for entertainment purposes. I figured a few thousand would be enough to have a bit of careless fun.

Sometimes we hired the girls through a service that catered to guys like us. There were also those who gravitated toward us when they saw that we weren’t shy about throwing our money around. It wasn’t like we were ever going to see them again.

We went to this club we frequented often, which was the best place to find our prey dancing seductively on the floor. Their nubile young bodies were on display in outfits that left very little to the imagination. I had a guilty pleasure out of spinning a tale to get them eating out of the palm of my hand. I was fortunate to have a friend like Frank. He knew how to adapt and play the role I gave
him.

Frank had so many girls in his contact list. That little black book was filled with the names of every girl he spent one night with. There was even a rating system with praise for certain acts.

  This was where we differed.

I had no interest in seeing the girl again after she took the walk of shame in the morning. I did keep their discarded panties as a memento of our time together. Their faces were a blur of naked twisted limbs and euphoric expressions on their faces. I wanted to keep things casual to avoid any unnecessary entanglements.

Girls didn’t much like how I branded them with the mark of my teeth on their inner thighs and nape of their necks. Those marks would fade over time, but the experience of being with me was unforgettable.

They probably thought of me as privileged with only one thing on my mind. They weren’t wrong.

I didn’t give a shit what they thought of me. I got what I wanted and gave them cab fare to find their way back home after I was done with them.

As we entered the club, so many hot young available pieces of ass were buzzing around us to give us their honey. Frank’s face was red with different shades of lipstick less than a minute into the place. They must have smelled the newly minted money burning a hole in our pockets.

Suddenly, I felt my mobile phone vibrating in my pocket. I went outside the club to answer in private when I saw the name of the caller. It was my sister Leila. She was my number one priority.

  “Hi, Leila.”

“Hey, brother. How are you? What are you bringing me when you come back home? You’re not getting spoiled with those California girls with their bleached teeth and fake smiles of interest.” Leila asked.

“What on this earth does my little princess need that she doesn’t already have?” I asked with my hand cradling the phone to my ear to hear what she was saying over the noise of the music pumping loudly in the background.

She was almost five years younger than me. She acted more like a five-year-old kid with her greedy hand out. I loved her.

“I need my brother. Please, come home soon. I am missing you badly.” She said with her voice a pouting example of how she had me wrapped around her little finger.

“We are coming home tomorrow evening. See you soon, my Princess.” I replied.

“All right, brother. I will be waiting for you,” She said with a giggle that touched me deeply.

  “Bye Leila.”

“Bye,” She said cutting the call short after making her demands clear.

Frank stumbled out from the club and asked, “Is everything alright, Edward?”

“Yeah, everything is fine. It was Leila asking when we are heading back home.” I replied.

“I’m sure she has her eyes on something shiny. There are girls in there begging for us to show them a good time,” Frank said with his hand holding onto a bottle of Champagne. Some of it was drizzling down his chin.

I smiled at him. We were about to get inside, suddenly, a cab stopped in front of us.

“Frank, imagine my surprise meeting you here.” A dark-haired girl waved at Frank as she got out of the cab.

I remembered her face but didn’t remember her name. Her body was an hourglass of perfection with a chest that rivalled some seasoned porn stars.

“Ellie, good to see you again,” Frank replied with his fingers motioning for her to come closer.

Oh yes, her name was Ellie. I remembered that we had met Ellie in the same club the last time we were in the town.

Frank had asked her to come with him and there was talk about payment for her company. Frank made it sound like it was money well spent after he came out of his room the next morning with her dripping off his arm.

Most of the single girls in the club came looking for a sugar daddy. Ellie was one of them and she knew how to play to her strengths. She was wearing this black shimmering knee length dress with a plunging neckline.

I knew Frank was going crazy to have her in his arms. He was licking his lips with the anticipation of getting her naked with her legs in the air.

There was another girl sitting in the cab. I couldn’t see her face. The shadow of a tree was falling on the backseat of the cab. All I could see was her boring grey T-shirt.

“Grace, come out of there.” Ellie quietly ordered the girl sitting in the cab. She didn’t come out of the cab and was soon bent over looking for something in a pair of jeans that were painted on her.

Frank pried Ellie off of his arm and took me to a corner of the building out of earshot and asked, “How about we invite Grace to come along with us. I’m sure that we can make her an offer she can’t refuse.”

“I thought about it for a second. I don’t see any reason, why not?” I replied.

I don’t know why I agreed. She wasn’t even my type.

“So, let’s not waste any more time and go back to our place,” Frank said while running his eyes up and down the familiar form of Ellie.

“I like the way you think,” Ellie said pushing out her chest in an attempt to garner Frank’s favor. She didn’t have to work very hard.

“You know how to make me happy and I know what you want,” Frank added with a grin on his face while patting his wallet.

Ellie smiled and readily accepted his offer. I tried to convince myself that it was going to be a good time.

Ellie knew that Frank was generous.

“I’ll go get the car. Don’t go anywhere. I’ll be right back,” Frank said excitedly.

“No, I will get the car. You stay here with the girls and make sure their cab driver is suitably compensated for his time.” I told Frank with my hand out for the key.

“I have no problem with that.” He replied with the key being tossed in my direction.

I snatched it from the air with my fingers curled around it. I got the car and brought it to the front of the club where Frank and the girls were standing.

“Hey, guys. Let’s go.” I told them as I stopped the car right beside them.

This time I got the chance to glance at the new girl. Something happened inside me when I looked at her face that I couldn’t explain.

She was quietly beautiful with natural good looks. She wasn’t dressed to party in those tight-fitting jeans and a not so flattering t-shirt. She would need the Jaws of Life to get out of those jeans.

She was not more than 20 years old. Her hair looked wild and untamed in desperate need of a brush. She was almost 5 feet 3 inches tall.

It was a bit weird feeling like there was a connection between us. I wasn’t looking for the white picket fence with a ring on her finger. It wasn’t really weird.

It was different and I wasn’t sure what the hell was going on with me…

I knew Frank had no control over his raging hormones. He was already kissing Ellie with his hand disappearing under her dress. It was a little awkward, but I couldn’t fault him for getting the party started early.

She was about to join them, leaving me to drive alone, but Frank wasn’t having any of that.

“Grace, you can drive up front with Edward. I’m a little busy back here.” Frank winked and pulled the giggling form of Ellie into his lap for a private dance that wasn’t for the faint of heart.

She looked at Ellie, but she was busy grinding and moaning into Frank’s ear.

I opened the door from inside and she slipped into the car next to me.

“Hi, I’m Edward,” I said as Frank had Ellie a little tongue-tied to make the introductions.

“I’m Grace,” She said with her voice in a lower and shy register. I almost didn’t hear her.

“It’s nice to meet you, Grace,” I said with my hand on the key.

She just nodded her head in reply and looked at me out of the corner of her eye. his time I got a closer look at her. She had the most beautiful deep blue eyes with a little puffiness underneath them. She couldn’t have been sleeping well.

I started the car and drove toward Frank’s estate which was almost thirty minutes away from the club. I pl
ayed some romantic music to get everyone in the mood.

Frank and Ellie were so busy with each other that they didn’t utter a word.

Grace kept silent not looking at me once and kept looking out the window at the scenery flying by.

Am I going to pay for this attitude?

  Is she rude?

Does she even want to come with me?

These questions kept playing in my mind.

I don’t know why I kept my mouth shut. I was always rude to girls especially if I was paying them good money.

  I wanted to touch her.

I don’t know what kept me from manhandling the merchandise. I brushed my hand against her hand. She suddenly jumped and looked at me with those beautiful eyes wild and startled by the contact. I got the feeling that she was offended by my gesture.

“I am sorry, Sir”. She said underneath her breath.

Finally, she uttered something, but it wasn’t what I wanted to hear. Her voice was sweet and innocent, but she looked scared and uncomfortable.

What did she just say? Sir? I didn’t know if she was from this planet.

I stopped the car in the driveway with the sound of the ocean slapping against the private beach in back. The view was to die for from the balcony off the kitchen. This was the only property that Frank owned that wasn’t an investment.
