  “Why are you leaving?” Kreed grumbled again, flopping onto his back, throwing his arm over his eyes.

  “We’re outside.” Aaron stated the obvious as he moved to a sitting position, still trying to adjust his eyesight. The annoying birds sang overhead, the ocean lapped against the shore but it sounded more like pounding in his head, which he didn’t need at the moment. Aaron concentrated on just breathing; his stomach felt nauseous and he had sand in his fucking ass, for God’s sake. Not the way he had intended to wake up on his first day in paradise.

  “I know,” Kreed barked on a chuckle. His tone made it clear what he thought about Aaron’s declaration.

  “And naked,” Aaron added the next obvious point. How had he let things get so far out of control?

  “Even better,” Kreed teased and reached his arms out, becoming octopus-worthy. Aaron had to struggle and dodge to rise. He finally scrambled enough to stand, while covering his cock with his hand as he reached and jerked the large beach towel off Kreed that they’d obviously used as a blanket last night. He quickly tied it around his waist, tucking the ends inside the towel as he scanned the beach. “There are people out here!”

  That made Kreed finally lift his head and look around before dropping it back on the towel. “They’re on the other side of the beach. They can’t see us.”

  “Get up. If we can see them, they can see us. What happened last night? How did we not make it to bed?” Aaron asked, a little dumbfounded. He’d never let himself drink that much. With a solid grunt, Kreed rolled to his side before lifting to his feet. He dragged the towel up with him. He, of course, didn’t wrap it around his body; instead, he tossed it over his shoulder, reached his arms up in the air, and stretched out his long body.

  “You started dancing. Remember that?” Kreed teased.

  “We don’t need to talk about that.” Aaron winced. Kreed was most definitely a bad influence. He’d completely let go last night, lost his inhibitions, and done a little strip tease for Kreed. He couldn’t remember a lot about the execution of it, but Kreed seemed to like the dance.

  “I didn’t think you’d remember,” Kreed said with a smirk as he passed by Aaron and headed up to the porch. Aaron’s eyes followed him up each step.

  “I can’t remember what we danced to,” Aaron said, trailing behind him.

  “I think you started off dancing to “Closer” by Nine Inch Nails then ended up with “Fuck You Betta” from the stripper playlist on your phone. You were too good at it, even though you said it was your first time. That wasn’t your first lap dance,” Kreed added, opening the back door. His statement didn’t come in the form of a question.

  “You’re just jealous you don’t have my moves,” Aaron called out, following along through the back door. The alcohol must have affected him more than he’d realized. Just like with everything else, Kreed had Aaron breaking long-standing rules. He knew how he got when he drank too much. Clothing always became optional. Actually the clothes came off and he became Magic Mike—if only in his own head. Lord, he wondered how red his cheeks had just gotten thinking about the possibility of last night’s show.

  “Hang on. I got something for the headache.” Kreed went for the kitchen, and Aaron re-tied the knots holding his towel in place. He watched Kreed pull out several bottles from the cabinet.

  “I’m not a Bloody Mary drinker,” Aaron said. He’d just suffer through.

  “You haven’t had mine.” Kreed worked at the counter while Aaron went for a handful of Advil and a glass of water. He swallowed, relieved when they stayed down.

  “Here. Try this,” Kreed said, handing him a tall, filled glass.

  “I don’t think I can.” Aaron held his stomach, scrunching up his face, shaking his head no, but Kreed was having none of that.

  “I promise it helps.” Kreed walked Aaron back against the cabinet, reached up, and pinched Aaron’s nose closed, making him swallow some of the drink. Aaron’s stomach roiled as he lifted his hand, taking the glass before moving from under Kreed’s hold, trying to keep from wearing the Bloody Mary.

  “Stop!” he yelled. Kreed laughed as he reached over and grabbed his own glass, doing about the same as he’d done to Aaron. He plugged his nose and drank several large gulps. Kreed kept his eyes on Aaron, using his finger to motion for him to start drinking. Once he realized he did feel a little better, he took another drink, only having one moment of worry that maybe everything was coming back up. By the time he got to the bottom of the glass, Kreed had managed to put everything away and was rinsing his glass. He reached for Aaron’s to wash and rinse his too.

  “I need a shower. I have sand in terrible places and my ass is sore.” Aaron left the kitchen.

  “It should be. What can I say? I’m such a stud,” Kreed called out.

  “You could have shown some mercy,” Aaron shot back, walking down the hall.

  “You’re the one that used me like a pole,” Kreed called out loudly. Aaron stopped dead in his tracks. He had very little memory of that. He spun around as Kreed turned down the hall. “You gave the words lap dance a whole new meaning.”

  “I did not.” But from the sweet twinge in his ass, Aaron figured he probably had.

  “And you promised a repeat,” Kreed said suggestively, bypassing Aaron and ducking into the master bath first. Kreed turned on the shower faucet before he started brushing his teeth. Aaron stood in the doorway, waiting for his turn at the sink.

  “I’m embarrassed,” he finally admitted.

  When Kreed finished, he gathered Aaron up, kissing him lightly on the lips. His breath probably wasn’t in the best condition right now, and he tried to push some distance between them.

  “First, I honestly doubt your level of embarrassment. You’ll do anything, anytime, anywhere, and I’ve seen that shit with my own eyes, so I’m calling bullshit. Second, best night of my life, and I’m not sore at all.” Kreed paused as if he contemplated that statement. Then he looked Aaron directly in the eyes and said, “I think you need to change that at some point today.”

  Kreed patted him on the ass and ducked inside the shower. That made Aaron smile and eased his tension a little. He shook his head and made his way to the sink to brush his teeth. Kreed yelped—probably at the scalding hot water from the sink faucet he’d just turned on. Aaron quickly turned the faucet off, waited about a minute then flipped it back on. Kreed hollered out again. Yep. That was good to know.

  “You did that on purpose,” Kreed yelled, his head popping out around the shower curtain. Aaron only laughed as he finished brushing his teeth before joining Kreed.

  ~~~
  “You mad?” A cool burst of air chilled his skin as Aaron slipped into the shower. The steam rose up around them, along with the smell of cinnamon and evergreen. Aaron brushed against him and his dick grew stiff.
  “Nope, but payback is a bitch,” Kreed replied as Aaron stepped under the spray and tipped his head back, wetting himself. Aaron’s nipples pebbled, the little silver rings drawing Kreed’s attention. Kreed slid his fingers up Aaron’s waist, the water rolling down Aaron’s skin as Kreed’s fingers moved higher to touch the dragon tattoo. “So beautiful.”
  Aaron opened his blue-gray eyes, capturing Kreed’s gaze with the heated promise they held. He slipped the tip of his pinky finger in the silver loop and tugged, drawing a groan from Aaron’s lips. Kreed bent his head and flicked the ring with his tongue then took Aaron’s nipple between his teeth.
  “Kiss me.” Aaron’s voice was ragged and filled with need. He slid strong fingers to the nape of Kreed’s neck and cupped his head.
  He spun Aaron around and pushed him against the tiles of the shower wall and kicked his legs apart. He ran a hand up the back of Aaron’s thighs, smoothing them over the perfect roundness of his butt. Aaron tipped his ass back and widened his stance even more. Kreed used his hands to spread Aaron’s ass cheeks and stroked the pink pucker with his thumbs.
  Water ran down Aaron’s crease and Kreed leaned down to cha
se it hungrily with his tongue. Aaron groaned. Kreed dropped to his knees, getting in a better position, and buried his face between those firm round globes to lap at Aaron’s hole. Aaron shuddered as Kreed held him open, licking and lapping. His own erection was heavy and bobbing as he found a comfortable spot on the decorative tiles.
  The sound of Aaron’s groans and moans echoed sweetly off the shower walls. He stuck his tongue against Aaron’s entrance, stiffening it. The outer muscle gave way as he pressed inside and began fucking Aaron with his tongue. He used his thumbs and worked them deeper into Aaron as he ate his ass. His lover squirmed against his face and on his tongue, the steam of the shower adding to the heat in Kreed’s balls. He slid his thumbs from Aaron and swatted his ass cheeks. Aaron groaned.
  “You like that, don’t you?” He reached between Aaron’s legs and fondled his balls. Kreed grabbed Aaron’s hips, turned him around, and deep-throated him, taking his church boy so deep his lips touched the close-trimmed hair at his root. He held him there then slowly pulled back, only to do it again, drawing a moan from Aaron.
  Kreed gripped Aaron at the base and licked at the vein running along Aaron’s shaft, paying special attention to the cockhead and the sensitive underside with the flat of his tongue.
  “Put your leg on the side of the ledge.” Aaron did as told, and Kreed picked up the body wash sitting nearby and poured it into his hand. He set the brightly-colored bottle back down, careful not to spill the soap he held in his other hand. He reached behind Aaron and spread the soap on his hole, dipping his pinky inside before using his free hand to capture Aaron’s dick and begin stroking him.
  The water ran down his face as he used his slicked-up fingers to tenderly tease Aaron’s entrance. Kreed replaced the hand on Aaron’s cock with his mouth then gripped his own cock when Aaron’s hips set the rhythm.
  Kreed pumped himself faster, the hard shower floor cutting into his knees as Aaron’s cock hit the back of his throat and he struggled not to gag around him. Constricting heat wrapped around his fingers as he worked Aaron’s hole, slow and deep. He twisted and curled his fingers to give Aaron the greatest pleasure he could without pressing hard enough to truly hurt. Aaron’s thigh shook on his shoulder. His thrusts became uncoordinated and jerky.
  “I’m close.” Aaron panted above him as his fingers tightened against Kreed’s scalp. He slacked his jaw and let his lover fuck his face. Pushing his fingers deeper, he hooked them and pressed against his church boy’s prostate. He swore Aaron’s cock swelled against his lips.
  “Kreed,” Aaron shouted. His name echoed off the shower walls. His lover’s salty release hit the back of his throat. He swallowed every last drop, his own orgasm one stroke away.
  “C’mere,” Aaron said, pulling him up off the floor so quickly he fought to retain his balance. Aaron pushed against his chest, and his back hit the warm tile wall. Everything happened so fast he didn’t process it until Aaron dropped to his knees and inhaled him with a dip of his head. Hot suction on his cock blinded him. Electricity charged in his balls and rolled through his body. Kreed was already so close that he welcomed the onslaught of pleasure. He fisted Aaron’s hair and thrust his hips forward, fucking into that amazing mouth.
  “Mmm….fuck.” His hands slid down the sides of Aaron’s face, holding his head in place as his release bowed his spine and he spilled his load down his lover’s welcoming throat.
  After the fog cleared in his brain and he regained his senses, Kreed tugged Aaron against him and just held him as the water fell around them.
  Chapter 29
  After spending the last five days in Hawaii, Kreed knew without question, all the fuss about this place growing old was absolutely nuts. Kreed was pretty certain he could get used to living on this island. This little slice of heaven was nothing short of paradise—not too hot, definitely not too cold, just perfect.
  The rental car’s windows were rolled down, allowing the sea-scented air to wash over them as Aaron drove down the street. He liked that Aaron enjoyed the island breeze blowing in his hair as much as he did. As they got going, Kreed lifted his phone and saw he’d missed a call. He put his window up about halfway and reached over to lower the radio volume as he touched the icon to return the call.
  “I missed a call from Mitch,” Kreed said to Aaron as he lifted his cell to his ear, listening as it rang.
  “When? I never heard it ring,” Aaron questioned, looking over at him. His guy looked nice tonight, dressed up for their first official date night. They’d decided to go back into town, hit up the dinner-slash-dancing joint Colt had suggested. Based on Jace’s warning that his mister couldn’t keep his hands to himself while they were there, Kreed knew it would be a place made for him.
  Even before he’d seen how good his guy looked all dressed up, Kreed had planned to pull Aaron out on the dance floor and pretty much molest him for the next couple of hours. He wanted Aaron plastered against him, head to toe, with some sexy music keeping them tightly together. Yeah, and he also wanted the other men to see exactly who he would be taking home tonight.
  The thought had Kreed smiling as he reached up, running his thumb across Aaron’s cheek when he looked over at Kreed, probably waiting on him to answer whatever question he hadn’t paid attention to. Aaron was just too fucking hot for him to be able to think straight tonight.
  “I hear you breathing, ass-lick. Did you butt dial me?” Mitch’s voice pulled Kreed from his wayward musing.
  “Sorry,” Kreed said, forcing his eyes from Aaron. He rolled the window the rest of the way up so he could hear.
  “You know it’s midnight,” Mitch grumbled, and no, Kreed hadn’t considered that when he’d called, but that did make it better that he’d missed the call earlier.
  “No amount of beauty sleep’s gonna help, princess,” he shot back.
  “Har, har, har. What do you want, Sinacola?”
  “I’m returning your call.”
  “That was like…five hours ago. Clearly, it’s not urgent. I’d be dead by now if I’d needed you. Just call me when you get wherever you’re going,” Mitch shot back and Kreed smiled. Mitch just never gave him any kind of break at all.
  “Nah man, tell me. My guy’s driving. We’re going to dinner. It’ll be a late night. What’s going on?” Kreed asked. Aaron reached down to raise his window, helping to plunge the car into silence.
  “Your guy, huh?” Mitch chuckled at him. Of course that would be what Mitch caught on to.
  “Yeah, you got a problem with that?” Kreed questioned, looking over at Aaron, hoping he couldn’t hear Mitch’s words. Aaron was just coming around, opening up to the idea of them in a relationship, and he didn’t want him to close back up because of some ill-timed words, not understanding this was just the way he and Knox communicated with each other.
  “I got a bigger problem with you calling so late and waking my ass up.” Mitch let out a loud yawn.
  “Then get on with it; we’re almost to town. What’s going on? Catch me up.”
  “Let’s see. Okay, well, the bureau’s upped security on the victims. They’re worried about copycats. It hit the news, and the fanatics are coming out in droves, so watch yourself. We’re gonna stick around Dallas for a while longer.”
  “That was only a matter of time. I haven’t turned on the news, so I haven’t seen it.”
  “It’s all over the place. It’s taken on a life of its own. Every station’s clamoring for information. People hate that church, but some are playing devil’s advocate. Shit’s getting touchy.”
  “Hey, Kreed,” he heard Colt’s voice in the background.
  “Where are you at that Colt’s in bed with you? What the hell’s going on there? Now I know why you wanted to stick around a little longer,” Kreed teased.
  “Fuck you. I came downstairs when you called. I didn’t wanna wake up Cody, ass.”
  “Tell him I’m sending him a text,” Colt hollered.
  “Don’t,” Mitch yelled.
  “Too late
. I just sent it.” Colt sounded smug.
  “I’m telling Jace about your bacon fetish,” Mitch threatened.
  “Fetish now? You already sold me out. That ship’s sailed, Knox,” Colt said in the background.
  Kreed’s phone vibrated, and he pulled the phone away from his ear long enough to open the attachment which turned out to be a selfie of Colt with Cody, both with big smiles. Colt had his arm slung around Cody and his fingers spread to give a peace sign. The most interesting thing about the whole picture was Mitch’s image captured several feet behind Colt, scowling toward the duo. Kreed chuckled, knowing exactly why Colt wanted him to see that picture.
  He put the phone back to his ear quickly and could feel the giant smile on his face as he said, “Put Colt on the phone.”
  “Fuck you. Call him yourself,” Mitch said and hung up on him. Kreed lowered the phone, laughing.
  “What happened?” Aaron asked.
  “Mitch and Colt have that love-hate thing going on. They get so possessive. You saw it while we were there. Well, Colt took a picture with Cody where they were all huddled up together. Mitch is in the background, and his pissed off, jealous face is captured in the photo. Photographic evidence that Colt won that round.” Kreed’s phone started ringing, and he glanced down to see Colt’s name come up on caller ID. He answered to Colt’s hysterical laughter.
  “That’s greatness,” Kreed said.
  “Yeah. I might have to blow it up and hang it in my house or save it for special occasions when I know Knox is coming over.”
  “What were you doing?”
  “I just took a selfie with Cody for his family. They’re big football fans. Then I saw Mitch’s face when I was scrolling through the pictures. Oh my God. It was too much,” Colt explained between laughing fits. The guy was really tickled, and it was contagious. Kreed was solidly laughing now while trying to listen and holding off a curious Aaron’s attempts to find out what was being said.
  “Y’all laugh all you want. I’m going back to fuckin’ bed. I need my sleep since I’m the one keeping you safe,” Mitch called out, his voice trailing off at the end as though he were leaving the room.
