Supers - Ex Heroes 5 Page 7

My team started to move. Only I stayed in place.

“What is it?” Shimmer, who was the closest to me, asked.

With a glance at the roof of the building, then around at the statues, I let out a sigh. “The easy path would be staying here and becoming an Elder. Fighting off those ships with my family. Just… ironic, isn’t it?”

She chuckled. “Life isn’t about the easy path or the hard path—it’s just the path. We’ve already started down it, so come along. Let’s see if we can find some roses to smell along the way.”

I laughed, nodding and going along with the others.

Gale put a hand on my back and kissed my cheek. “We’ll return soon enough.”

Hadrian turned to us, too, and nodded. “In the grand scheme of it all, you’ll see—these things are all like pebbles on a mountain. Soon you will have to climb that mountain, but on the day you reach the top it will be as one of us, and with us at your side.”

I had no idea what the fuck that meant, but gave him a deep, profound gaze, nodded, and went on my way. I hoped he couldn’t read minds like Laurel supposedly could, because my mind was picturing me kicking him off of a damn mountain. Laurel glanced over, frowned, then hid a smile as she kept on.

We would go in one of the Citadel ships, as they were much better equipped with cloaking and weapons technology compared to those we’d taken from Abaddon. We followed Hadrian as he explained more about the Shadow Mystic, how she too had been able to level up, how she’d once been a normal girl, one who proved she was extraordinary, eventually sacrificing so much.

“She had a team, though,” he pointed out as we stopped. “And never would have made it so far without them.”

He took a moment to let that sink in, each of us glancing around at our teammates, then noticing the a small crowd gathered to see us off.

“Wait.” Laurel stopped and looked around at the throng of people, her antennae stiffening, the ends glowing. She spun, again and again, eyes searching the crowd. Then suddenly there was a commotion. A woman was trying to push her way through the mass of people, but her wings were hitting the others and causing a disturbance. Finally, she was in the clear and came running through. “Harp?”

Before I could ask what was going on, both she and Charm had run over and all three of them were hugging, Charm jumping up and down, tails swaying back and forth.

“She said she arrived while we were up there,” Laurel said, apparently reading her thoughts, or something. She paused to look at Harp before nodding. “Got a signal from Lamb that you were coming, Charm.”

Laurel then hit Harp on the shoulder, hard enough for all of us to hear the ‘whack.’ “And me? You didn’t come the second you heard I was here?”

Harp frowned, pursed her lips, then gestured around.

“I don’t care what other jobs you had. This is us!” Laurel shouted. Charm put a hand on hers, giving a quick glance at all of us watching.

Laurel flushed, then turned back around and took two steps toward me before pausing, taking a deep breath, and turning again. “Well, come on! You almost missed us.”

Harp grinned, and started walking with Charm, arm-in-arm. This whole situation was getting weirder and weirder. Another lady from Charm’s past? When she’d said she had gone to an all-girl school, I had certainly fantasized about her with some other ladies, but now I was seeing the reality of that fantasy—or the potential of it anyway, and it was good. This Harp lady had wings, giving her a kind of angel or mythological feel. But she otherwise had a very down-to-Earth look, with wavy brown hair and brown eyes, and was now looking at me and my team with intense curiosity.

“Breaker, allow me to introduce Harp,” Charm said, then added, “she doesn’t talk.”

“Or rather, if she did you’d all be in some sort of major pain,” Laurel said.

“And she’s coming with?” I asked, then glanced toward Hadrian.

“She is,” Charm confirmed before Hadrian could respond.

He smiled, then nodded. “Who am I to argue?”

“I’m confused,” I admitted, turning to Twitch as the rest boarded.

She folded her arms, giving me an almost motherly look. “Breaker, another very attractive woman just volunteered to join us, one who Charm seems to know and is very excited about. The last person to be complaining right now should be you.”

I gulped, turning to watch Charm and Harp approach the ship, both of their asses looking damn good in their superhero outfits, and nodded. “Point taken.”

“That said, I think I’m going to get you alone first chance I get, before they wear you out.”

She winked and walked off, leaving me to watch her ass now. A few paces away, she glanced over her shoulder, caught me, and grinned before continuing on.

“Do try to remember that it’s not just a sex-fest down there,” Hadrian gestured for me to continue on board. He’d said it loud enough that some of the others might have heard.

All these superheroes, and somehow my brother and I had been chosen to become Elders. I had to imagine a few of these others were, too, and actually noticed robes like I’d seen on my brother on a couple of the men and women who were there to see us off. I strained my neck to get a better look at them, wondering who these other possible Elders were, but before I could get another glimpse, the bright light went off and our surroundings were replaced by space.

“There we go,” Gale said, who’d taken the first shift as pilot. “Pulling up coordinates, and… it looks like we have about two hours for rest, getting to know our new teammates, and whatever the hell else you want to do.”

I unstrapped, stood up and stretched, and watched space around us for a few seconds before turning to face the ladies, only then realizing all of them were looking right at me.

  “Um… Something in my teeth?”

Charm laughed, and Laurel leaned back, covering her face.

“Sorry, ladies, I called dibs,” Twitch unstrapped next and came over to me. “Maybe I’ll introduce him to you after we’ve had our little nap.”

Gale laughed at that. “You’re lucky I’m so curious about our new friends, or I’d have to fight you for him.”

“Don’t ask,” Laurel advised as she turned to face Harp, who was sitting up straight, head cocked and looking my way inquisitively. Apparently, Charm hadn’t yet filled her in on the way the team basically used me as a non-stop dildo. Not that I was complaining!

Twitch led me out to one of the side rooms, somewhere we could get some alone time, and turned, brushing her green hair back behind her ear. Her eyes roamed over me.

“Like what you see?” I started to undress.

“Stop.” She stepped up to me, moving my hands away, and then started undressing me herself, never losing eye contact. “I do, and you’ve been growing sexier by the day since we met.”

  “Feels like yesterday,” I admitted.

She chuckled. “It practically was. It’s insane how this space travel thing flies by when using portals and whatnot.”

I nodded. She had already removed my shirt, now she was working my pants off, pulling my boxer briefs with them so there was nothing left. She knelt to finish the job, hands moving up and down my thighs, grabbing my ass as she stared at my cock, watching it grow.

“That’s a good lad,” she muttered, then kissed it gently on the tip, hands moving to my front, one taking my balls and the other starting to stroke my now-hard cock. “It’s fun to get the whole team involved, but every once in a while, this is exactly what I need.”

I nodded, leaning my head back and closing my eyes to enjoy the sensation of her taking me in her mouth. She pinched my thigh and I looked down.

  “Ow!”

“Watch,” she said, and ran her tongue around my cock’s head, eyes staring up at me, narrowing seductively. Fuck, she was right. This was way better. She went on like this, caressing me and teasing me with her tongue, until finally she breathed heavily and then leaned back, starting to undo her top.
Now take me.”

“Stop.” I knelt, moving her hands aside as she’d done to me, and kissed her, enjoying the sensation, before slowly removing her clothes. I agreed, sometimes having it this way, just one-on-one, had its place. Right now, I was enjoying the focus we were able to give each other, the extra layer of tension and anticipation it added.

When I pulled her top over her shoulders to reveal her breasts, I had to sit there for a moment, appreciating how perfect they were.

“Appreciate with your lips,” she whispered seductively.

“Gladly.” I leaned in, taking her right breast with my hand and mouth, my other hand moving down between her legs, but not yet touching her where I could tell by her pelvic movements she wanted me to.

Instead, I worked my way down, moving more clothes as my mouth trailed my hands, until I had her pussy exposed in front of me. I pushed her thighs apart and leaned in, my tongue teasing her wet heat and lapping it up. She moaned, grabbed my hair, and her thighs squeezed in. If I hadn’t been a super, that might’ve been too hard, but as it was I enjoyed it.

When I couldn’t take another moment of not being inside of her, I ran my tongue up to her clit and gave it a few good caresses, then climbed up and buried my face in her neck, kissing it as my cock found its way into her.

She gasped, nails digging into my back. As I started thrusting, she hit me with the heel of her hand, loving it.

Had she always been this violent? I had to laugh, and that only made the nails from her other hand dig in more.

  I loved it.

As she got more violent, I took it to the next level, letting my enhanced speed and strength give her the fuck of a lifetime, so that soon she was dripping over me and beating away as she screamed, laughing and moaning in between, then pausing for deep breaths with her eyes shut and mouth wide open.

A final pinch on my nipple from her and she wrapped her legs around my back, pulling me deep as my orgasm took hold and I unleashed inside of her. When my body couldn’t take it anymore, I collapsed, rolled over so that she was on top, and let her rotate her hips with me inside a couple more times.

Finally, she slowed to a stop and smiled down at me. “Ah, I needed that.”

  “A good fuck?”

She held up her fist, threatening, and I laughed.

“Sometimes meeting new people…” She moved off, and then leaned into me, chin resting on my chest and eyes staring into mine. “It’s too much, you know? Like, I don’t mind running around and fighting these assholes, but can we just not be sociable for a little while?”

I laughed, knowing exactly how she meant. “Crowds aren’t really my thing either.”

“See, that’s why I like you. Well, not that exactly, but because we get each other. That and,” she reached down, grabbing my package, “you know how to bring it.”

“Careful down there.” I squirmed as her hand moved down to massage my nuts.

“Aw, sensitive after some good fucking?”

“You’re not exactly gentle,” I pointed out.

She pushed herself up, straddled me, and pinched my nipples. “So?”

I refrained from yelping, instead grabbing her ass and squeezing a tad too firmly. She grinned.

“Careful there, Breaker, or I might make you go for round two.”

“Oh?” I squeezed even harder and she bit her lip, then slid a hand between us to grab my cock, stroking it to see if I’d be able. To my surprise, it started to respond. Hell, who was I to argue with the little guy?

It didn’t last nearly as long, but she still got in two climaxes before my one, and finally we both lay there, hands clasped together as we stared at the metal ceiling, gasping.

“I fucking love my life,” I said.

She squeezed my hand. “I find it exceedingly better lately.”

Turning to her, I had to ask. “And this… team. I mean, we’re growing fast. You’re okay with that?”

She frowned, then laughed again. “Sometimes I forget your ways, Breaker.” Sitting up to reach for her clothes, she added, “If any of us wasn’t happy with a single aspect of this relationship, you’d know. Trust me. Hell, you want the android in the bed? Why should I care? I still know you love me and the rest of us.”

She froze then, glanced back at me, and said, “Oh, the L word.”

  “It’s okay.”

“I just—I heard you use it with Charm, and… Sorry.”

I sat up, took her and pulled her close. She giggled as I kissed her neck. Then, staring into her eyes, I said, “I do. Love you, that is. You and Charm, all of you. It’s crazy that it could happen this fast, and I never knew love could be like this. But—”

“I love you too,” she interrupted. “Now shut up and get dressed so we can get back out there before I take you again.”

I glanced down, kind of hoping the little guy could rise to the occasion again… but no luck this time.

“Get dressed,” she repeated, seeing my look, and stood to finish dressing herself.

Once we were dressed, we walked out of there. I was in a daze, glad to see the women chatting. They were looking at the various planets that made up this system. Except, then I noticed Charm and the two new girls weren’t around.

“Are they…?” I asked, not sure how to word that.

“Getting a snack,” Charm answered. I turned to see her in the doorway with her two friends. “What, you thought we were going down on each other?”

I blushed, unsure how to answer that except for with complete honesty. Since Laurel could at least kind of read my mind… “Actually, yes.”

Harp smiled but looked away, while Charm chuckled. “It’s been a few years. Might have to work our way into that.”

  Laurel hit her playfully. “Charm!”

“What? I have no secrets from him. At least, I don’t mean to.”

“Speaking of that.” I glanced back at the screen to make sure we had time. “Do you want to tell us… I mean, what happened? This revelation you had.”

“Not now, but soon,” Charm said. “Maybe… hell, maybe I’ll write it down. Main points are, though, that I was at Supralines, crazy shit happened, bad guys attacked, and that brought me to the prison ship, where I awaited my chance to make a move against the enemy. Not so supervillainy as I thought, right?”

“But you did think you were?” Gale asked.

Charm nodded. “Memory mod, thanks in part to my own charm and some outside help. Hadrian was there. He knew he was asking a lot, but it was an ask, after all. All my decision.”

“And somewhere along the line, you seduced these two nice young women?” Twitch asked playfully. “Tell me you didn’t charm them into it.”

“Shut up,” Charm frowned. “The only time I ever do that is when the person wants it to begin with and asks me to. Like with me and Breaker here… kinda.”

I smiled at the memory of our first time fooling around.

  “But… I mean, I know there’s more than that,” I said.

Charm rolled her eyes. “It’s… honestly…” She frowned, then looked away, her eyes glistening.

“Shit, I didn’t mean to push it.” I felt bad when I realized I’d made her emotional.

“It’s too much, when I think about it and verbalize everything.” Laurel was at her side, a hand rubbing her back.

“Right.” I looked at Twitch for help, but she was frowning at me. “I really just—I mean, I was curious. It’s fine.”

“Like I said,” Charm put on a smile as best she could, but was still clearly on the verge of being overly emotional, “I’ll write it down sometime. The rooms have those fancy tablet things, so yeah. The mostly full version, just for you, Breaker.”

Harp looked around, then held up her hands and tapped something on her wrist that made a screen appear in front of her that read, “And who is everyone? What’re we doing exactly?”

“That’s a better way than me interpreting all the time,” Laurel said, impressed.

  Harp tappe
d again. This time the screen said, “Yes, I picked this up in my journeys and really enjoy it. But sometimes it’s fun to hear you voicing my thoughts.”

“Can’t you make the machine talk?” Twitch asked.

Harp considered it, then made an adjustment. It read, “I hate how it sounds.” She then hit a button on the display and the machine repeated the words, but it sounded like an old woman with a nasally voice.

Twitch laughed. “Mind if I adjust it?” At a shake of Harp’s head, she pulled up one of her pink screens and made some tweaks. “Try it again.”

This time the same words came out but sounded like a super-sexy lady, very seductive. Harp put her hand to her mouth to stop a laugh, but some of the sound escaped and caused the ship to shake.

  “Um, careful there,” I said.

“Right, sorry.” Twitch tried again. “How about now?”

This time it was similar to Laurel’s sing-song voice, but with a slight American South feel to it. I had to admit, it worked. Harp apparently agreed, because she hit her wrist contraption and the voice said, “Now this I can get used to.”

  “Making me useless,” Laurel said.

“I can think of a thing or two that tongue can still be used for,” Charm replied, earning a couple of chuckles from the room. We still weren’t sure how open to this type of banter these new ladies were.

“On that note,” Gale stood, “I actually need some sleep before we get there, and we only have about an hour left.”

“I got the controls,” Twitch replied from her seat in front of them. That left the rest of us to catch up and get to know each other until we arrived. I was looking forward to finding out who Charm’s new friends were.

  8

Andromida had taken the first round of sleep. At least a couple more could’ve as well, but instead they were all sitting in curved, couch-like benches along the back wall. I took a seat next to Shimmer and Aegriss, figuring that way I could see Charm and her friends while we talked.

  “What’d I miss out on?” I asked.

“Oh, only the story of their first kiss,” Shimmer said with a nudge in my ribs.
