Deprave (DeLancy Crime Family Book 2) Page 7

by Elizabeth Knox

When Mia was here for the weekend, Olivia seemed a bit off. Her personality was more reserved and she wasn’t communicating with me much. So, I went up and confronted her about it. It turns out, she was feeling a bit insecure and asked me if I’ve ever been with Mia. I told her I hadn’t, and I’ve never even touched Mia. She’s like a sister to me and I wouldn’t ever think about her in a sexual manner. The woman has been through her own form of torture in life. The scars she bears are proof of it. One of her scars runs along her cheek. Fuck, she’s been through some intense shit. Even so, she’s in love with a man she thinks can’t love her. All because she’s marred by her past.

Other than those two nights where Olivia was having girl time with Mia, she and I spent a lot of time together. Most of it in the bedroom, of course, where I explored her body in every aspect. I’ve had my tongue on every inch of her skin. She still hasn’t told me what happened, but I can put the pieces together. It’s why I’ve been extra gentle with her.

For the most part, I’ve given her the control I believe she needs, yet at the same time, I’m keeping my dominant hand firmly around her. Fuck, an image of her riding me in our bed back home pops into my mind, and I’m stuck sucking in a sharp breath. My cock grows hard at the memory but now is not the time.

After finishing up my meetings yesterday, we came back to New Orleans. Félix came home from his honeymoon with his new bride after spending nearly three weeks touring all of France, and the over-the-top bastard took her to Italy. They stayed at Leo’s villa for a few days before coming back home.

Tonight Olivia made sure I knew it was a girls’ night. She and Madelaine were spending the evening drinking and possibly going dancing. I’m glad she’s doing this. She needs girl time and can take as much as she needs, as long as she knows Casen will still be shadowing her the entire time. After the wedding incident, I won’t ever trust her in Mason’s hands anymore. Not after my brother got close to her, and we all know the possibilities would’ve been endless if she hadn’t screamed.

Hell, I still get furious when I think back to that day. To how Mason didn’t intervene, how he allowed this to happen. When Olivia and I are married, he won’t be allowed to so much as look in her direction. Not with how badly he fucked up.

While the girls have a night out, Félix and I decided we’d meet up at Diamond Dancers to catch up. We’ve been here for a couple of hours and things are going great. Little did I realize I need time to decompress too.

Though, our night hasn’t been all flowers and butterflies. Olivia’s brother told me something that happened two years ago, and now I understand why she cowered, flinched, and seems afraid in certain circumstances. It’s cause she’s been through hell, and now I feel guilty for handling her the way I have when it comes to our sex life.

The two of us are sitting in the booth, drinking, when my phone buzzes with a text from Casen, telling me that Olivia and Madelaine were leaving the club they’re at because Olivia seemed upset.

  Fuck.

I try to call her, but she doesn’t answer.

  “Everything okay?” Félix asks.

“No, Casen just said Olivia and Madelaine are leaving the club, and she seems upset,” I mutter, not liking the fact she’s upset or that she’s not answering the phone.

“Who, Mads, or Liv?” he questions.

“Olivia,” I keep my answer short as I text her.

“I’m sure she’s fine,” he says, lifting his scotch to his lips. The waitress left the bottle on the table for us so we wouldn’t be bothered. Rémy even joined us for a few minutes before he went to do rounds and check on the dancers backstage.

I’m tempted to head out and go find Olivia, but a wave of long brunette hair pulls my attention away. Lo and behold, it’s her. The stressed way she’s pursing her lips has me wary as she approaches the booth.

When she and Madelaine get to the table, Olivia picks up the bottle of scotch, takes my glass, pours some in it, and then throws it at her brother.

“What the hell, Olivia?” Félix yells, holding his arms out. Olivia pours more and then does the same thing again.

“That’s for telling Finn something you had no right to tell him. How dare you,” she screams.

Félix looks over at Madelaine. “Did you tell her I was talking to him tonight?”

Madelaine cocks her head and rolls her eyes. “Of course I did. She has every right to know, Félix.”

“I’ll deal with you later, fuck. She didn’t need to know shit. I’m just trying to protect her!” he snaps at his now wife, slides out of his side of the booth, and stands. Félix heads over to his sister. “Who do you think you’re talking to?”

I follow his lead, but only to pull Olivia against my side. She has every right to be angry at him. “It’s her story to tell, and it wasn’t yours.”

“It doesn’t give her the fuckin’ right to come in here and throw ten-thousand-dollar scotch on me,” he snaps.

“Maybe so, but think about how you hurt her. Olivia is my fiancée, and I won’t have you snapping at her for something you started in the first place. When it comes down to it, she’s mine and has been since she agreed to become my wife. Soon it’ll be official,” I state, keeping Olivia from throwing more scotch at her brother.

“She might be yours, but she’s my baby sister, and she will respect me. I have every right to protect her, even if it’s from herself. She didn’t want to talk about what she went through, but you needed to know. You can’t be too rough with her and there are reasons why. I couldn’t keep it from you,” he growls, taking a step forward.

I slide Olivia behind me as I take a step to match his. “We’re best friends and it won’t change. That being said, Olivia may be your sister, and that’s the only reason I’m letting your bullshit statement slide, but say something like that again, and you’ll have hell to pay.”

With that said, I reach behind me, take Olivia’s hand, and guide her out of Diamond Dancers, ignoring the on-lookers. I don’t give a damn about anything else but getting her out of here and somewhere where we can be alone.

We planned to stay in her room at her family’s house tonight, but after this bullshit, I’m taking her to a hotel.

Finding Casen in the parking lot, I toss him my keys. I’ve had a few drinks and don’t intend on driving. I help her into the backseat of the car I bought for Casen to use while he’s here playing bodyguard to Olivia.

I tell him to take us to the hotel and don’t say anything else, because right now, there’s nothing else to say. Not until Olivia and I are alone in a room where we can talk without anyone else hearing our conversation.

  Chapter Fourteen

  Olivia

“Finn, where are we going?” I ask as Casen drives the car toward the downtown area.

“To a hotel. We’re not staying at your house tonight. I’m sorry, but if I see your brother again and he starts spewing that bullshit . . . I’ll fucking hit him,” Finn hisses, anger oozing off him in intense waves.

I swallow and nod, not wanting to argue with him. Sure, I want everything to be good with Félix but what he did was so out of line. He had no right telling Finn, even if he thought what he was doing was right. I know he didn’t mean to hurt me, like I know it deep in my soul. Félix is a good person, but he’s a man and they do the stupidest shit. Something might make sense to them that won’t ever make sense to us.

Casen turns the car, and the next thing I know, we’re in front of the Ritz Carlton and he’s pulling in front of the valet. As always, Finn exits his side and walks around to open my door and help me out. We both walk alongside each other and head toward the front desk.

“Good evening, sir, madam, how may I help you tonight?” the sweet blonde woman behind the desk asks.

Finn looks at her nametag before speaking. “We’re doing well, Ellie. Thank you for asking. Now, I’m here on short notice, so I’m hoping you’ll have a suite available for my fiancée and myself.” Finn raises his brows, waiting for
Ellie to reply.

“Hmm, we do have a couple of weddings, but let me check and see what we have available.” She taps away on the computer, and after a few moments, she clears her throat. “Tonight must be your lucky night. Our Maison Orleans Suite is available. Unfortunately, the guest who was supposed to arrive tonight canceled.”

“Perfect. I’d like to check us in.” Finn digs into his pants pocket and pulls out his wallet, handing Ellie his driver’s license and American Express. After a few minutes, we’re all checked in, have our keys to get in the room, and we’re in the elevator listening to soft music playing in the background.

Neither of us say anything as the elevator doors open, and we walk down to our room. Finn opens the door and we both head inside to a beautiful suite. Since I live here, I’ve never had a reason to stay at the Ritz Carlton, but when associates have been in town, I know they’ve bragged about how beautiful this suite is.

The floors are a cherry mixed with chestnut color, and the walls are a deep cement gray. There’s a cozy living area and a glass table in front of the windows where I’m sure Finn and I will enjoy breakfast tomorrow morning. Off to the right is a set of French doors which lead to our master suite, and the theme continues throughout the space. Regal and sophisticated.

Since Félix let the cat out of the bag, I have no choice but to talk to Finn about everything. As much as I don’t want to, I haven’t been given the luxury of forgetting what happened. Only, because of Félix, I need to have this conversation with Finn tonight. “I’m sorry I didn’t tell you anything. I just didn’t want this to be a reason for you to think I’m broken, damaged, or flawed. I just—”

“Olivia,” The way he says my name is a warning. He encloses his palms around my cheeks and holds my face as tears threaten to spill. The seriousness of his tone strikes through me, and I have no idea what he’s about to say. He could be letting me down easy. He could be making me feel better. I don’t know. The possibilities are endless. “You will never be any of those things. Do you hear me? Not one of them. You’re perfect the way you are, and every experience you’ve had is only something that adds to your life. Whether it’s negative or positive, it doesn’t impact your worth. More importantly, it doesn’t affect how much I love you.”

Aw, fuck. The tears spill in an effortless flow, and no matter how hard I try, I can’t do anything to halt their progress. Finn wipes away my tears and he presses a sweet kiss to my forehead. I glance up into his dark copper eyes and swallow hard, vocalizing my feelings for him for the first time ever. “I love you, too, so much.”

He smiles sweetly and pulls me against him, rubbing my back in a soothing manner. “I heard rumors about what happened, but I was never going to ask you, Olivia. It was your story to tell, not anyone else’s, and certainly not your brother’s.”

I tilt my chin up and look right at him, wondering if everything we’re creating would’ve almost passed me by. I was a royal asshole to Finn for so long, and in doing so I could’ve missed out on the love of my life.

“God, Finn, I. . . I never thought I’d feel this way for you. I’m so head over heels in love with you, and I just want us. I want us for as long as I can have us.”

“You’ve got me for the rest of our lives. Though, I don’t know if it’s a promise or a prison sentence.” I burst out into laughter so hard my tears continue to fall, but my laughter is met with Finn’s simple smile, and I know I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be.

I stand on my toes and collide my lips with his, and his hands rake up and down my sides. I love the way his fingers feel sliding against my peach velvet dress, but I want more. I crave it. I take one of his hands and bring it up my body, over my breasts, and stop when his palm is around my neck.

He breaks our kiss immediately. “You want this, the roughness?”

I nod and swallow hard. “I’m not going to break.” I try to keep my voice strong and make him think I’m okay. The truth of the matter is I’m afraid, and I know getting rougher in our sex life could bring up some bad memories. I don’t have to worry with Finn, and I need to remind myself of it. I don’t have to worry about feeling unsafe, because this man will burn down the world if I ask him to.

“Olivia.” His tone is filled with warning, but I’m not going to back down. I know what I want and how I want it, and he’s the man who will give it to me.

I push against his hand that’s wrapped around my neck. “I want you to fuck me like this, with your hand around my neck. I want you to watch my face as you realize all the pleasure coursing through my body is because of you, and I want something else.”

“You do, hmm?” Finn rasps, his eyes darkening as I vocalize all my desires.

“After I come all over your cock, I want to suck you off until your cock is sparkling clean.”

“Well then, it looks like I need to put you to work.” Finn smiles devilishly and backs me up to the bed, hikes my dress up, and wastes no time plowing his cock into my waiting pussy. His grip tightens around my neck, and my walls constrict around his throbbing cock. He fucks me like I’m a street whore, and I’m so happy.

Grabbing onto the sheets, euphoria spreads across my body like a wildfire out of control. I can’t stop, and I won’t. Sure, I’ve been through things. I’m just not going to let them constantly haunt me. Sometimes I can’t help it, but right now, I do have control, and most of all, I have faith this man wouldn’t ever hurt a hair on my head.

  Chapter Fifteen

  Finn

Olivia and I ended up going back to Corpus Christi. After the altercation with Félix, it seemed like the best thing to do. Olivia didn’t seem like she wanted to be in New Orleans the morning after we stayed at the hotel. We spoke about it over breakfast, so I took it as her sly way of telling me she needed time away from her brother. Port Sulphur would’ve still been too close to her family, and she needs the distance to process everything that happened over the last couple days. She’s still mad, and I don’t blame her for being upset. Not one bit. She has every right to be and her feelings are valid.

Since it’s the weekend, I don’t have to go into the office. So it’s just the two of us and we have the entire day together, to do whatever it is we want. I have a few things I can think of doing to pass the time. I grin at the thoughts filling my mind. I imagine her on her knees, wrapping those puckering lips around my cock. Dammit.

Glancing at the clock, I rise, knowing we have lunch plans. It’s at one of my favorite places in Round Rock. I figure since they have an outlet mall, she won’t mind checking it out. If I know anything about Olivia, it’s how she loves to shop. She won’t ever admit it, but she’s a sucker for a nice bag and ordain bracelets.

It’s a three-and-a-half-hour drive to make it there, so I have one of my men, Adam, grab the limo. Meanwhile, I stretch Olivia out on the backseat and feast on her delectable pussy. I’ve never been more thankful for blackout windows. No one will ever glance at what belongs to me. The music in the front pumps into the back a bit, but I can’t hear a word, only feeling the vibrations of the bass.

By the time we get to Round Rock, I’ve claimed several orgasms from Olivia, and she took me deep in her mouth. I would’ve rammed my cock deep in her tight pussy, but we were almost to our destination, and I figure we can save it for later.

As Adam parks the car, I pull out a little gift for Olivia. It’s small, a vibrant purple color that matches the tone of her panties. She’s wearing a black skirt, so I dip my hand in between her legs, and she gnaws on her bottom lip. “You want more already?”

Instead of answering, I simply smile. Part of the device goes into her pussy while the top of it sucks her clit. Little does she know I have the remote, and I’ll be making her pussy wet all day long. I want her begging for my cock later. I want her to crave it like a druggie needs a fix.

She shoots me a confused look until I readjust her panties and pull out the remote. “This little thing,” I turn the device on, and Olivia gasps, “controls my little
gift to you. I get to toy with you all day long. If you come without my mouth, hands, or cock, sweetheart, I’ll make sure to punish you tonight for it.”

Her eyes widen at my announcement, and she inhales sharply.

“And for the record, I will know if you do.” I make sure to tell her before opening the door. I offer her a hand which, of course, she takes, and we start our day of pleasure.

Throughout the day, we spend it walking around the mall, going in and out of stores. I end up buying her a new Louis Vuitton handbag, earrings that she fell in love with from one of the jewelry stores, and several different outfits.

Hell, it seems like we just got here and now we’re getting ready to leave. With almost fully eaten plates in front of us, I look around the restaurant and take a sip of my water. Truth be told, I’m debating on whether or not I should bring this up to her, but I decide to do it right now.

“Olivia, you know I’ve been trying to be patient and that we need to get married soon. But, you need to know that I’m not just marrying you because of the Alliance.”

“Finn.” She shoots me a knowing look. “I’m not an idiot. We’ve gone over this, and it’s been a long time since I ever thought you were marrying me just because of our families’ bullshit. That’s all in our past.”

I crack a smile, loving how perceptive she is and how she’s putting me in my place yet again. “Yes, but I want you to know I’ve always wanted you. Think I’ve always been in love with you. With you, I see I can relax and not worry about what’s the next thing on my never-ending list. You and I can go out and spend time together. Laugh and play around in more ways than one.” I grin and take her hand in mine. “In this depraved world, I couldn’t ask for a better woman to make my wife. So, I’m telling you now, I’m done waiting. I want to marry you as soon as I can.”
