He threw his hands up in the air. “Wow. Just fucking wow, Romero. Nothing like being in bed with the enemy. Are you trying to get us fucked? Are you really doing this?” Bandit shoved Romero aside and walked passed him.

I still didn’t know who the enemy was, but I wasn’t about to interrupt.

Trask wasn’t any kinder than Bandit, saying, “You understand the risk you put us in, right?” Romero was staring off, again, so Trask brought the back of his hand across Romero’s face. It snapped him out of whatever stupor he was in.

  “Fuck, man!”

“Start fucking talking Romero. I can’t help but get the feeling that there is more to this forbidden love story, especially since you look like a butcher on lunch break.” Trask shoved Romero down into a chair and pulled one up across from him.

“Okay, okay. Fuck, you didn’t have to hit me.”

Trask nodded. “Yes, I did.” His voice had calmed.

For the first time some bit of light came back to Romero’s eyes. I stood next to Stache, Thunder, and a new kid named Boomer. All of us transfixed. Bandit pulled a chair up beside Trask. The two leaders of the Rising Sons Davis chapter leaning forward, ready to hear Romero’s story.

“Julie and I have been together for a few months now. It’s all in secret, obviously. I know this is a minefield. I knew it when we started, but fuck. I can’t even describe her. Nothing short of perfection.” A smile crept onto his face. The blankness disappeared as he talked about Julie. Whoever she was, she was linked in with the wrong people, apparently.

Trask shook his head. “No offense, but I don’t give a fuck about your love life. Whose blood is this?”

“His name is Ty. He rolls with the Branch. Julie and I were out for a ride, and he found us. He confronted us, threatened to out me, the usual. I tried to be reasonable with him. I really did. We were out in the middle of nowhere, and he had this look in his eye. This look like he could earn his way to the top of the Devil’s Branch if he came back with my head. Even Julie tried to plead with him. Dude pulls a knife, and we went at it.” Romero lifted up his hand, and for the first time I saw that he had been wounded. The cut was small, but big enough to require stitches to close it.

Romero shook his head and started wiping his hands down again. “If I could knock the knife out of his hand, this all would’ve been over. I’d have snatched my girl up and ridden away. No dice, though. Ty was out for blood, no bones about it. I know what I did. I know there is no sweeping this under a rug. The Devil’s Branch will come after us for this. I did it to protect her, Trask.” Romero’s pitch raised as emotion took him over. “It started out as forbidden fruit, but this is the real deal.”

“And now were real fucked.” Bandit stood up, the chair sliding up from behind him. “You’re god damn right they’re gonna come after us. What the hell are we supposed to do, Trask? Do we cut them loose? Maybe if we contact Captain and tell him we had nothing to do with this…”

Trask didn’t say anything. My eyes darted back and forth between my man and the president of the Rising Sons. It sounded like Romero had brought a battle to our front door.

  “No.”

Bandit shook his head at Trask. “No, what?”

As he looked at Romero, Trask spoke, “We’re not disowning him. Yeah, he fucked up. He fucked up real bad. I think any one of us would admit that, but that doesn’t mean we leave him to die in the wind. He didn’t betray us. Granted, he did pick the one woman in the world that was off limits, but that’s beside the point. What’s done is done.”

The president stood up. He turned around and looked at all of us. “I don’t know about you, but I’ve killed for love. I’ve killed to protect the woman that lives inside my heart.” Trask looked to Romero, “Even if no one else does, I’ll stand beside you.” He added, “Brother.”

My heart was racing, my mind a storm of emotions. One by one, the Sons around me began to speak one word. Bandit was the last to say it, and part of me knew that it would seal some larger fate for the Rising Sons:

  “Brother.”

  Davis Chapter, Book Three

  Reverence

How long can forbidden love remain a secret? For Julie and Romero, it’s not just their love on the line. Lives are held in the balance when a man from one biker gang falls for the daughter of the rival club’s president. All hell breaks loose when they are found out.

Romero is willing to do anything to protect the woman he loves, even kill for her. He’s been trained by the best, and he has the might of the Rising Sons behind him. The Rising Sons may be bad boys, outlaws, and dangerous men, but they are also fiercely loyal with hearts of gold.

Julie has lived the biker culture her whole life, so it’s no wonder she fell for a tattooed gear head. Even still, Romero is kind and warm to her, everything her father is not. Twists, turns, and drama unfold before them as they try to stay together while others around them fall.

No one stands between two lovers…

  Chapter One:

“Please don’t make me beg, Romero.”

I heard him laugh behind me, probably in the doorway. Despite giving him my sexiest voice, it didn’t seem to make any impact on him. God knows how many women he’d been with before me. Maybe I just didn’t get him going. Then again, I was tied to his bed with my ass in the air. He had said I was the best lay he’d ever had, and I believed him.

He let out a deep grunt as he came into the bedroom. I wanted to turn around and see his cocky smile so bad, but I couldn’t. “You know that’s what I love the most, don’t you? Making you beg.”

His voice shook me to my core. He fanned the flames of desire inside of me, and the ache between my legs grew. Romero knew exactly what he was doing. He would drive me crazy until I screamed every filthy thought inside of my head. I knew that was what he wanted. It was a delicious game of power and control, and at that moment, I was out of control.

Romero stepped to the side of the bed and came into view. He was shirtless, his tanned and toned chest breathing slow. I stared at the large tattoo that covered most of his chest. It always fascinated me, and when I wasn’t bound, I’d run my fingers over it. A heart pierced by three swords. Romero had ink just about everywhere on his body, but that one always stuck with me.

Below his broad chest, his jeans were barely clinging onto his hips. The belt and fly hung open. I could see the black underwear and the unmistakable outline of his manhood beneath. I let out a faint moan. He may have been the only man I’d ever been with, but he was the only man I’d ever need.

Romero’s dangling belt was thicker than the one that held my wrists to the headboard. I was glad for that. The belt wasn’t painful, but it also wasn’t comfortable. I knew that when Romero talked about punishment, he didn’t mean pink, fuzzy handcuffs and playful spanking. He meant business.

I reached towards the throbbing package beneath his jeans, but my hand barely moved half an inch before stopping dead. Romero smiled down at me like I was just a silly little girl. If I was, it was because he made me that way.

“You want to touch it, don’t you? You want to feel every inch of my cock.” His voice was husky and smooth, like the whiskey I was getting used to drinking.

I nodded, my eyes wide with desire and lust. My voice was caught in my throat. I was overcome by Romero; Romero and the danger of what we were doing together. He knew it, too. We fed off of that danger every time we were together.

He slowly sunk down until we were eye to eye. Him crouched down beside the bed, and me tied there, my face down against the sheets. I loved the soft look in his eyes. It played beautifully against the strong, manly biker that had me tied up to his bed. He had these bright blues that just pulled your attention from anything else in the world. In that moment, I couldn’t focus on anything else, anyway. I was bound to Romero’s bed.

“Baby. Tell me exactly what you want so that I can give it to you. If you don’t say it out loud, I can’t do it. Them’s
the rules.” He smiled and reached his hand towards me. He ran a finger over my cheek. It was so soft I almost couldn’t feel it as I closed my eyes. He was absolutely amazing. Every touch, every sensation was incredible.

I moaned, my mind afraid to tell him what it was that I craved so badly. I knew he wouldn’t relent until I spoke, though. “I need…I need punishment.” Even that word sent shivers down my spine. It was such a trigger to me after being with Romero. So many words triggered me. I’d hear someone talk about pain, and it would get me weak in the knees. I’d lean against the wall and close my eyes, losing myself in some fantasy.

He shook his head from side to side, “I know, baby. I know. Tell me what you did wrong. After all, I can’t punish you if I don’t know what you did wrong.”

I loved just how sweet his voice sounded. I knew he wouldn’t be sweet much longer, though. “Remember when I teased you on our ride last week?” I knew he hadn’t forgotten. As he stood and walked behind me, I remembered our trip. We hadn’t gone more than a few miles on his Harley before I unzipped his fly. I kept nibbling at his ear and moaning over the roar of the engine and the wind. By the time we pulled off the road, it only took a few minutes before my blow job pushed Romero over the edge.

“I remember. I remember how hard I had to fight to keep us on the road because you couldn’t keep your hands to yourself.” His hand came down swiftly. I gasped at the initial pain. It was only pain for an instant; then it turned to something far greater. It became a heat that swirled around me, from my ass to every inch of my body. Romero had this amazing skill. He could spank me just right every single time. “You trying’ to get me killed?”

I gasped, but had to smile. I knew my reply would get me that punishment I deserved, “No, I wanted to get you off.”

I thought he would laugh back, but instead he brought his hand down hard. My body lurched forward, but I stopped myself from crying out. The warmth danced over my skin, especially on my ass. I’d feel his punishment for days.

Romero spanked me and made me beg for relief for what seemed like ages. When he finally touched my yearning womanhood, a massive orgasm came in seconds. My body had been dying for that huge release, and when my man gave it to me, it was more than I could handle. I collapsed forward into the sheets, grasping at anything to steady myself. He didn’t let up, though. Romero climbed into the bed, his fingers never leaving my sensitive clot.

I cried out through the orgasm, and when I thought it was fading, another came crashing down on me out of nowhere. Before I closed my eyes tightly, I could see the satisfied smile on his face. Romero looked so goddamn cocky and sure of himself. He had every right to be.

Once I was capable of moving, it was my turn to please Romero. Even though the two of us hadn’t had sex yet, we were still plenty capable of taking care of each other. I knew that he had been with many other women, but every time I went down on him, he told me I was the best. I believed him. I believed everything he told me. With a devilish smile on my face, I dragged his jeans and underwear from his body. His thick cock was throbbing and ready for me.

I could see wetness dripping from the tip, and I let out a little known as I ran my tongue up his shaft. I could feel his body shudder. It always felt so powerful to be in control of such a strong man. As Romero laid back, I wrapped my lips around his cock. I may have been a virgin, but I was a fast learner; eager, too. We had only been together a few short months, but Romero and I couldn’t keep her hands off of each other.

Slowly, I began to take him deeper and deeper. I looked up his deeply tanned body. When I pushed down, Romero’s eyes rolled back in his head. Nothing made me feel sexier. I circled my finger and thumb around the base of his cock and began to bob up and down. The heat and pressure between my legs was growing again, and my free hand drifted down to my womanhood.

As I got the two of us off at the same time, I thought about just how dangerous and naughty our forbidden romance was. Being with Romero meant going against my family and everything that it stood for. If my father found out what was going on, there was no telling what he could do. I knew he was capable of violence, and I knew he was looking for any excuse.

My father was the president of the Devil’s Branch Motorcycle Club, and James “Captain” Capriani was looking for any excuse to destroy the Rising Sons. If my daddy found out that I had been secretly dating a Rising Son behind his back, there would be hell to pay for me and for the rival motorcycle gang.
