His Pleasures and Pain (Book II) (Allen Trilogy 2) Page 29

by Chevelle Allen

When she came down, she looked stunning and sexier than he imagined. The mini dress clung to every luscious curve. She wore a pair of thigh high, spike heeled, peep-toe boots with broad zippers at the sides. The thick collar around her neck was one he’d never seen before. The outfit was accented with leather cuffs matching the collar.

  “You’ve been shopping.”

“Do you like it?” she asked seductively descending the stairs and coming towards him.

  “Very much.”

“Will I fit in?” she smirked.

Walking towards her, “Baby, you’ll stand out.” He kissed her neck smelling the subtle perfume she knew he loved.

After driving to his condo to change, they arrived at the club a little after eleven. As usual, the place was vibrant. Rather than take a table right away, he led her up the stairs to the loft to view the dungeons. Watching her carefully, she didn’t seem to recoil at any of it. Instead, she seemed almost transfixed. She’d lean into him whispering questions about what a device was called or what the Doms were doing with their Subs. At no point did he get the impression she was uncomfortable by anything happening around her. In fact, she was intrigued and he couldn’t have been more pleased.

  “You ready?” he asked.

  “Ready for what?”

“Are you ready to meet Mistress Spectra?”

  Her eyes widened. “Yes!”

  “Come on.”

Walking down the stairs, he explained how she should behave in Mistress’ presence. She’d have to maintain her submissive postures at all times to both Spectra and him. He also explained that since she wore the collar, the protocol was she couldn’t do anything in the club without his express permission. Knowing her penchant for stubbornness, he warned her that under these circumstances she’d be punished for any disobedience. The conversation tested her, but she agreed to comply.

He took her over to the booth where Spectra held court. There were a number of her Slaves and Subs at her feet, each donned in different attire. Approaching her, he made sure Narissa stood slightly behind him with her eyes cast down and her hands in posture.

  “Good evening, Mistress.”

“M! It’s so good to see you. It’s been too long.” Looking at Narissa she said, “I see you’ve brought a guest. She’s lovely.”

“Thank you Mistress,” Narissa said smiling broadly.

Michael snapped, “You’re not to speak unless told to do so. Do you understand?” His expression was stern.

She cut a look back at him before lowering her head again. “I’m sorry, Sir.”

  Mistress asked, “May I?”

He understood immediately what she was going to do. “Of course.”

“Dear, M’s by far one of my best. Listen to him, do as he tells you, and you’ll learn. Disobey him and not only will you answer to him, but to me. And I assure you I’m very old school. I won’t be nearly as forgiving. Do you understand?”

Narissa turned to him seeking permission to respond. Once he nodded, she replied. “Yes, Mistress. It won’t happen again.”

“Enjoy your evening, M. Lovely cufflinks, by the way.”

  “Thank you, Mistress.”

It was the first time he’d worn Spectra’s gift. Narissa encouraged him to do so.

He took Narissa by the hand leading her away to find a table. He could tell her mind was racing, but she didn’t utter a word.

Once seated he asked, “Do you want something to drink?”

She nodded with clenched jaw. He motioned for a server and placed the order.

  “Spit it out.”

“I’m allowed to talk now?” She was clearly irritated.

  “Yes.”

“Why did you let her treat me like that?”

“I told you what was expected.”

  “But it’s a game.”

“Every game has its rules.” Seeing she was undeterred he whispered, “Baby, relax. You wanted to see what this place was like. Now you know. Do you want to leave?”

With her face still tense she said, “No, I’ll be fine. I wasn’t expecting that. Will you at least dance with me?”

  “Sure.”

He led her to the dance floor as the DJ pumped frenetic House beats. She barely looked at him while losing herself to the music. But the more she danced, the freer she became releasing the angst and anger once consuming her. She became far more relaxed swaying, gyrating and moving closer to him. She continued dancing eventually rubbing her ass against him. With her back to him, she danced more seductively eventually reaching up to touch the side of his face. Then she lowered her hands gripping his hips. He pulled her even closer letting her feel his mounting arousal. But she moved away, before turning to face him. With an intense gaze, she began to tease. He smiled as she set about her game.

She became even more erotic moving her hands across her body and between her legs. He enjoyed watching every move she made, as did others. He felt someone brush up against him. He recognized the woman right away. Sista Sienna was a regular and a known Switch—equally comfortable as a Dom or Sub. He’d played with her years before.

She whispered to him, “May I, Sir?”

Assuming it was a simple dance request, he motioned for Narissa making sure she was comfortable with it before nodding his permission. He went back to their table continuing to watch the women interact. Sienna danced around her before moving in close and swaying with her. At first Narissa seemed aloof, but began engaging far more than he anticipated. Soon they were grinding against each other and touching in ways that made him increasingly uncomfortable. When Sienna moved her hand to Narissa’s throat and the other squeezed her breast, it took everything he had to remain seated.

He’d had enough of the taunting when Sienna began whispering to her while looking back at him. If she’d been a man, it would’ve been far too easy to punch her in the throat. Walking over to them, Sienna immediately stepped away from Narissa with a smirk on her face but continued dancing.

He glared at her before leaning in and calmly saying, “Touch her like that again and there will be hell to pay.”

  “Ooh! That sounds fun!”

“Don’t fuck with me Sienna.” He was livid and this was no game to him.

“Lighten up, M. Your pussycat wants to play. You can watch if you want. I know how much you like that. Or is this one special?”

Moving away from her, he reached for Narissa’s hand and led her away.

“Come on, Baby. It’s time to go.”

  “Why? It’s still early.”

  “It’s late.”

  “It’s not even two yet.”

“We have an hour drive and I’m tired.”

  “Okay.”

On the drive back, he tried to settle emotions that wouldn’t subside. The image of Sienna rubbing against and touching Narissa during their dance wouldn’t fade. The more he thought about it, the angrier he became. Sienna was correct when she intimated how much he enjoyed watching women fuck in his bed or play with his toys. He’d had sex several times with two women. But those women were playmates. Narissa wasn’t.

He felt hypocritical while desperately trying to wrap his head around why it bothered him so much. He couldn’t let go of the inevitable conclusion. His feelings for Narissa were far stronger than he realized. Although he’d never said the words to her, he loved her. The thought of anyone else touching her that way incensed him.

Once back at her house, he walked her to the door.

“Aren’t you coming in?” she asked.

  “I’m gonna head home.”

  “What’s wrong?”

  “I’m just tired.”

“Then spend the night. I promise to be good,” she smiled.

Her innuendo and gentle kiss did little to arouse him. He needed to talk with her about it all, but words escaped him. He hadn’t felt this way in a very long time. Additionally, he didn’t quite know what to do with all the jealousy still swirling within him. But the truth was Sienna’s behavi
or was not surprising at all. Narissa’s was.

“Stay with me,” she said taking his hand as she opened the door.

They went straight to her bedroom and undressed. He climbed into bed ahead of her. Resting his hand under his head he simply stared at the ceiling while she finished her nightly facial ritual.

When she emerged from the bathroom, she straddled him. Kissing his neck and chest before moving lower to take him into her mouth, he watched as affections for her overcame all the others he’d felt. He took her by the shoulders and motioned for her to come up towards his face. Kissing her deeply there was no denying he loved her.

“How may I serve you, Sir,” she said with wanting eyes.

“I need to talk to you about something, okay?”

Perplexed, she moved off on him and lay on her stomach with her hand resting on her cheek. “Sure.”

He took a deep breath, praying his words would accurately reflect what he was feeling towards her.

“I realized something tonight and I’m trying to reconcile what it means for us moving forward.”

  “Okay.”

  “I love you.”

Her face lit up as she smiled. “I love you too. I’ve known that for a while. It just hit you tonight?”

“No. But it was reinforced tonight. I feel like a hypocrite saying it but, I actually got jealous watching you with Sienna.”

She sat up in the bed drawing her knees to her chest, wrapping her arms around them. “I see.”

“I love you and I don’t want to share you like that.”

“So you want our relationship to be exclusive now?”

  “Yes.”

“I love you, but I’m not sure I can do that. I told you I don’t see myself getting married and having kids and all that…stuff. I just don’t.”

He was deeply troubled but said, “That’s not what I’m asking for. But I do want us to continue building on what we have.”

“We can do that. I want to do that! But I can’t promise you’ll be the only one in my life. I’ve struggled with it for a long time but I believe you can love more than one person deeply. I don’t want to cut myself off from that possibility.”

Her confession took his breath away and damn near broke his heart. He didn’t know what to do or what to say.

Seeing the anxiety on his face, she rolled onto him saying, “Michael, each moment with you is precious. I’ve learned so much about myself being with you. Why can’t we just enjoy and love each other without any other expectations?”

In that moment of hurt and confusion, he could only respond with honesty. “I’m not sure I can do that.”

“I didn’t think I could be a Sub and here I am. Will you at least try?”

It was asking a lot and there was no way he could answer the question. But he held her close and kissed her before reaching over to turn out the nightstand lamp.

  CHAPTER 41

  (EPILOGUE)

Staring at the clock, he was stunned it was after ten in the morning. He rolled out of bed, sitting for a moment, still thoroughly exhausted. Looking over his shoulder, they lay sleeping soundly entangled in each other’s naked bodies. He got up and went to the bathroom to wash up. Slipping on a pair of boxers, he quietly made his way to the kitchen to start a pot of coffee.

With cup in hand, he turned on the TV to catch up on the news, but kept the volume low so he wouldn’t disturb them. Rather than watching, he found himself staring out the window looking into nothingness, lost to his thoughts. The sound of his cell phone vibrating on the table startled him from his fog. He picked it up checking the number before answering.

  “Hey man. What’s up?”

“You sound like I woke you up,” Dave said.

“Naw, just chillin’. What’s going on?”

“We put together a trip to Belize.”

  “What?”

“Kelly has a villa in Belize and she’s inviting everybody down for four days. She asked me to call you.”

  “Who’s everybody?”

“Our law school crew. Me, you, Jamal, Kelly, Monica and Janine.”

  “Get the fuck outta here!”

“I’m not kidding. It should be a good time. You down?”

  “When?”

  “Next month. Twenty-third through twenty-sixth.”

Michael sat for a moment utterly flabbergasted such a thing had been arranged. Each of them lived very busy lives. Between their jobs, relationships and all the other things going on in their lives, getting these six people together seemed improbable if not impossible.

“Yeah. I’m down,” he chuckled. “I can’t believe she’s actually going.”

“Monica talked her into it. But yeah, J will be there. It’ll be cool.”

“Yeah. It’s been a while. Okay, count me in.”

“All right man. I’ll catch up with you later. I got my kids this weekend, so…”

  “We’ll catch up later.”

  “Bet.”

As he hung up the phone, Narissa emerged from the bedroom with Sienna close behind her. Sienna went straight to the fridge to get water grunting “Morning.”

The three of them had been playing together for several months but the transition wasn’t easy. Narissa was very clear about what she wanted, how she felt about him and the thought of being in a monogamous relationship. When she confessed her relationship with Sienna, he was angry but none surprised. The chemistry between them was undeniable. But with her confession, he resolved not to invest any more emotional energy into her. Instead, he did precisely what she asked. He enjoyed their relationship without expectation.

Narissa came over kissing him warmly on the cheek. “Good morning, Baby.”

  “Good morning. Coffee’s ready.”

  “It smells good.”

He watched as she prepared two cups carefully mixing creamers and sugar before handing one to Sienna.

  “Who was that?” she asked.

  “Dave.”

  “Oh! How’s he doing?”

  “He’s good.”

  “What’s going on with him?”

“Letting me know about a trip with some friends of ours.”

  “Are you going?”

  “Yeah.”

With cups in hand, they made their way back to the bedroom. “Are you coming back to bed, Michael?” Sienna asked.

“No. I’m sure you two will be fine without me.”

“But it won’t be nearly as much fun,” Narissa added.

He feigned a smile watching them disappear with one thought growing crystal clear. He was sick of and bored with this arrangement. Furthermore, he was done settling for anything less than what he wanted. And he knew exactly what he wanted.

He wanted her. He wanted Janine.

  THE END
