“Oh, right,” Antonio said. “Busy, just like your father, eh?”
I snorted. “Something like that.”
My father owned the resort. When I lost Maria and Ana, it wasn’t all I’d lost. My father had nearly disowned me. Instead of working in the office, I had to help out with odd jobs. A lesson I needed to learn supposedly. To work my way up. Things shouldn’t just be handed to me, my father had said.
“Have a good day,” Antonio said as he placed a basket of fresh fruit on the table behind my laptop. “You need anything else?”
“I appreciate that but I know where the supply building is. See you around, Antonio.”
His head bowed once before he turned and walked over to Olivia. I tried not to look but I could hear her cheerful voice and giggles as Antonio talked to her.
She was thankful for the fruit. Apparently, she’d forgotten to order dinner last night. The loud music must have distracted her.
Antonio handed her a basket and the smile she gave him warmed me from the inside out. She was the most beautiful woman I had ever seen.
Too bad I had to be an immature idiot that couldn’t do anything right. She surely had seen right through me.
The old me would have confidently walked over there and taken what I wanted. But she saw me in my work uniform. She wasn’t the kind of woman that wanted a man that cleaned toilets for a living.
I blinked twice. She was looking back at me, her eyes narrowed. I quickly looked away, having been caught staring at her.
Fuck.
What the hell was wrong with me?
She wasn’t going to be here long. She was on vacation.
Maybe it was time to try something. Be my old self… even if it was only for a short time.
I stood up and closed my laptop. I rolled my shoulders back and ran my fingers through my hair as I walked through the sand toward Olivia.

What the hell had I done wrong now? Frankie was heading toward me but I stared out at the ocean, pretending not to notice.
“Beautiful morning, isn’t it?” he asked.
“Every morning here seems beautiful,” I replied.
“Most of them,” he said.
I turned to him, meeting his intensely dark eyes. They were like glue holding my gaze. No matter how hard I tried to look away, I couldn’t.
“I can’t imagine a bad morning here,” I said.
“When it rains, it pours,” he said giving me a wide smile. “Are you going out for a swim?”
The back of my neck prickled. I suddenly felt incredibly self-conscious in my bikini. I hadn’t planned on meeting anyone, let alone someone as attractive as Frankie.
He looked younger. Not terribly younger but enough that I noticed. There was a sweet, yet cockiness to his features.
“I was just absorbing some vitamin D,” I said. “Good for your bones.”
Great. Why not make myself seem even more ancient than I was.
“Some say the water here is good for your skin,” Frankie said.
My eyes lowered to his smooth, silky chest. He wasn’t lying.
“Come for a swim with me?” Frankie said.
“Oh, I don’t know,” I said looking over my shoulder as if I would find an excuse not to.
I wasn’t even sure why he was asking me to join him. Surely, he had young women banging on his door most nights.
“Come on,” he said lightly placing his hand on my shoulder.
The feel of his skin against mine was like an electrical shock. My heart pounded. My entire body came to life in a beat.
I couldn’t process. What was happening?
Oh, I was probably still in bed sleeping and this was just a crazy dream. It felt so completely real.
Frankie started walking backward toward the ocean. He curled his finger. Like magic, I started walking toward him.
I was totally under Frankie’s spell. And why the hell shouldn’t I be? I deserved a break from all my troubles. That was why I was here. To forget.
I followed him into the water, which was warmer than I expected. He held out his hand to me and I took it. When we were waist-deep, he pulled me toward him. The water created a bit of resistance but I wanted to feel his body against mine.
Water whooshed around us. It felt like the rest of the world was washing away, leaving only Frankie and me behind.
“So,” Frankie said looking down into my eyes. I shivered at the feel of his hands on my hips. “What brought you here?”
“Oh,” I said pushing the image of Danny from my mind. “Just on vacation.”
“Alone?”
I bit my lip. “Do people not do that?”
“Not usually around here,” Frankie said.
“You seem to be alone,” I said.
“I’m not on vacation.” Frankie looked off in the distance. “I don’t want to talk about me. What I want to know is what brings a beautiful woman such as yourself to a secluded cabin.”
I laughed. “I thought it was supposed to be secluded but there you were.”
“You want me to go?” Frankie asked. His hands feel away and I suddenly felt naked.
“No,” I said quickly. “I didn’t mean that at all. I like you. I mean, you seem like a nice guy but I thought you didn’t like me. It seemed like I was annoying you or something.”
“Sorry,” Frankie said. “I guess I was used to silence.”
I frowned and took a small step back. “I’m sorry I came here and ruined your peace and quiet.”
“No, no, no,” he said gripping my waist. “You didn’t ruin anything.”
He pulled me back. My body was against his and he wasn’t hiding the fact that his dick was incredibly hard. In fact, I was pretty sure he wanted me to know.
“In fact,” he said his voice deep and low. “I’m glad that you’re here.”
I swallowed hard. I couldn’t think of a single of a single word to reply. Frankie was the hottest guy I’d ever seen and he did things to me I’d never experience.
“You’re incredibly beautiful,” he said as he moved a stray strand of my charcoal hair away from my eye. “How long are you here for?”
“Three more days,” I said.
“Three days, huh?” he said grinning. “That’s not long.”
I exhaled between my parted lips. “I wish I could stay here forever.”
“Maybe we make them the best three days for the both of us, hmm?” Frankie asked. “Do you have a husband back home?”
“No,” I said. “I’m not sure it would matter if I did.”
Frankie laughed. “I don’t have anyone either. I think we’re both looking for the same thing.”
“What’s that?” I asked breathlessly.
“An escape,” Frankie said bringing his lips closer to mine. “A break from life.”
“That’s exactly what I’m looking for,” I said my voice feather-soft.
His fingers glided around my lower back and he pressed me closer. He kissed me as the waves gently splashed into us, moving our bodies ever so slightly as if we were one complete unit.
Frankie’s lips were marshmallow soft. I wrapped my hands around his neck, twisting my fingers into his wavy hair.
He pressed his cock against me. “I don’t normally do things like this. At least, not in the last fifteen years.”
“I’ve never done anything like this,” I said.
“We don’t have to do anything you don’t want to do,” Frankie said.
“No,” I said. “I need to do something like this.”
Frankie smiled before kissing me again. “Mmm, damn, girl.”
“Should we go back to my cabin? Or maybe yours? Whichever,” I stammered.
“No need for all that,” Frankie said sliding his hands up my sides. He cupped my breasts, squeezing as though I were a delicate, ripe peach as he thumbed my nipple.
My head rolled back as I allowed myself to enjoy the feel of a man’s hands on my body. Frankie pulled the f
abric of my top-down and my breasts popped out.
The morning breeze prickled my skin… or maybe it was mostly his touch. He kissed down my neck, pulled back to admire my breasts before sucking my nipple into his mouth.
A delightful tingle ran down my stomach and he didn’t stop until I felt it between my legs.
Frankie held me tight, switched from one nipple to the next. If his lips weren’t wrapped around my delicate skin, his fingers were twisting, flicking, and tugging.
“Baby, you’re so fucking delicious,” Frankie said. “I could do this all day long and never get bored with your salty, sweet skin.”
“If you do it much longer,” I said taking in a breath, “I think I might explode.”
“Mmm, I can’t wait to see you explode,” Frankie said. “But not yet. Not yet.”
I drew in a breath as he worked my body. “I promise nothing.”
“Just relax,” Frankie said smoothly. “Enjoy my touch.”
“That’s the problem,” I said moaning as his hand moved down my stomach. His finger curled and slipped under the elastic of my bikini bottom. “I am enjoying it.”
His finger slid between my folds and I shivered. It was a miracle I hadn’t floated off into a sea of pleasure with the simple touch.
Frankie had me in a place I hadn’t been to ever before. He was like a drug and I had never been higher.
I reached over between his legs and gripped his massive cock. A small breath of surprise seeped out between my lips and he let out a soft chuckle.
“You like it?” he asked.
“Oh, God, yes,” I said stroking his length.
He was like a rock that had been covered with the most expensive of silk fabrics. Frankie groaned as I pumped him along to the same rhythm of his touches.
“I can’t wait,” I said.
“We’ve got hours, baby,” Frankie said.
“I don’t want to wait hours,” I said.
My words had been close to whining. Pouting. But he didn’t understand. I needed him. I needed to feel him inside me.
His hand came out of my bottoms and back up my stomach. He kissed each breath before placing the fabric back in place.
“What’s happening?” I said confusion slathering both my words and my expression.
“I’m making you wait,” Frankie said lightly kissing my lips before shoving himself back inside his shorts.
I shook my head. “I don’t understand. Is this like some sort of terrible game?”
“No. Maybe. But it’s a game we’re both playing,” Frankie said.
My eyebrows squeezed together. “I’m not playing. I don’t like games.”
“I want you to think about me for the rest of the day. I want you to want nothing more than me,” Frankie said.
“Um, easy,” I said crossing my arms.
“Oh, don’t be like that,” Frankie said grinning. “I want you too. Trust me, when it happens, it will be mind-blowing.”
I puffed out my lip. “Pretty sure it would have been mind-blowing right now.”
“This is hard for me too,” Frankie said. “You felt just how much I want you. But in three days, you’ll be gone and I want to make sure that when I do fuck you, you’ll never forget it.”

Holy shit.
I couldn’t believe I walked away from her. There wasn’t anything I wanted more than to be with Olivia.
But I wanted it to last. There was a good chance I’d never see her again and it wasn’t only that I didn’t want her to forget me, I never wanted to forget her either.
It was torture leaving her and I thought going into work would help distract me. But it didn’t.
I moved from job to job at the resort and no matter what I did, my thoughts always went back to her. My cock would twitch and it would take everything inside me to not drive back to do what needed to be done.
“Hey,” Mrs. Hernandez said practically sneaking up behind me at the bar. “I’ve been looking all over for you. Thought you were helping the groundskeeper.”
“I did that,” I said with a grin. “Now, I’m helping here.”
I glanced at the clock. It was nearly six and the order I’d put in thirty minutes ago would be ready soon, if it wasn’t already.
If I had Olivia’s number, I would have called and given her notice but I didn’t have it. I didn’t know much about her at all but I didn’t care. I wanted to know everything about her.
“Did you need something?” I asked hesitantly.
“Yeah, they need you back in the kitchen,” she said tapping her clipboard. “Help with the dishes. You’ll get overtime pay.”
“I can’t,” I said. “Not tonight.”
Mrs. Hernandez blinked rapidly. “But we really need the help.”
“I’m sorry,” I said looking down at the gin and tonic I was mixing for a customer. “Tonight’s just not going to work.”
“What? You have a hot date?” she asked with a chuckle.
“Something like that,” I said.
Mrs. Hernandez eyed me. It was almost as if she thought I was lying. “You haven’t been on a date in years, Francis Castro. Are you telling me fibs?”
“No, ma’am, I am not,” I said.
“That gal at the front desk, hmm?” she asked.
I shook my head.
“Better not be one of the guests,” Mrs. Hernandez scolded. “You remember how your dad reacted the last time.”
“I’m going to keep her a secret if that’s all right,” I said. “It’s just that I don’t know how things are going to go just yet.”
“I can tell by the look in your eyes she has you right where she wants you,” she said.
I chuckled. “Yeah, perhaps.”
One of the kitchen workers placed a plastic bag on the counter and gave me a nod. I nodded back.
“I need to head out,” I said. “I’m really sorry about this.”
“I’m going to let it go since you haven’t even taken a day off since you started,” Mrs. Hernandez said. “You’re a hard worker. Your father should be proud.”
I snorted. “It’s going to take a lot more than that to make him proud.”
Mrs. Hernandez reached up and placed her hand on my shoulder, giving me a tight squeeze. “Go on,” she said. “Don’t want you to be late.”
“Thanks,” I said backing away. I grabbed my bag of food off the counter and twirled around. “See you tomorrow.”
“Oh boy,” she said as I walked away.
I was practically running to my four-wheeler. It was too bad I didn’t have access to one of my father’s sports cars because I would have gotten there in half the time.
I was smiling as I climbed on a headed down the path that would take me to Olivia.

The sun was gone. And I couldn’t stop looking over at Frankie’s dark cabin.
He was gone. All day. And I hadn’t stopped wanting him.
It was strange though because I wanted him more than anything but I was also angry he’d walked away. He left me there in the ocean feeling needy and desperate.
How had it been so easy for him to just walk away? I guess he was just playing with me. A good old fashion game of cat and mouse… or something.
I paced back and forth from the kitchen to the bed, waiting even though I wasn’t entirely sure what I was waiting for. Maybe Frankie wouldn’t ever come back.
The sounds of a motor made my heart skip a beat. I felt lightheaded but that could have had something to do with the fact that I hadn’t had much to eat the entire day.
My body shook with the harsh knock at the door. I walked slowly toward the door. I was nervous and excited at the same time.
Relief washed over me when I peeked out and saw Frankie standing there. He gave me a little wave but I didn’t wave back. Instead, I pulled open the door.
He charged toward me, wrapping his hands around my face as he placed his lips on mine. Frankie pulled b
ack slightly and grinned, looking down at my mouth.
“I have to leave,” he said.
“What?” I replied nearly shouting at him.
Frankie laughed. “No, I need a shower. Just finished working.”
“Oh,” I said. “Well, you can shower here.”
“I was hoping you’d say that.”
He walked away from me back toward the door. Frankie bent down and picked a plastic bag up off of the ground.
“I brought this,” he said, closing the door.
“What is it?”
“Dinner. It’s for you.”
My stomach grumbled but I ignored the gnawing feeling. I was much too excited about the fact that Frankie was standing in my cabin.
“Fried clams, a couple lobster tails, shrimp,” Frankie said. “Potatoes, corn.”
“Sounds good,” I said.
“Go ahead, eat something,” he said as he peeled off his shirt.
I shook my head slowly. “I want dessert first.”
“Patience isn’t your strong suit, is it?”
I walked toward him, pulling my loose-fitting shirt off. “I’ve waited all day.”
“So, have I,” Frankie said.
“I don’t want to wait anymore,” I said unhooking my bra.
Frankie brought his thumb to his bottom lip. I could tell he was trying to stay on whatever course he’d set but his weakness was showing.
I pressed my chest against him as I wrapped my hands around his neck. Frankie groaned as I grabbed his hardness through the outside of his pants.
“I need to shower,” he said.
“Okay,” I said kissing his silky chest. “I’ll help you.”
“Yeah?”
I bit my lip and nodded far too enthusiastically.
“What about dinner?” he asked with a smirk.
“Dinner will wait.”
I grabbed a loop at his waistband and pulled him into the bathroom. He wrapped his hands around my waist and popped open the button. Frankie didn’t even bother to unzip my shorts before wiggling my pants down my thighs.
He released an animalistic grunt when he realized I wasn’t wearing underwear.
