“Stop.”
   It wasn’t a request.
“There is no Johnny. Johnny died a long, long time ago. My name is Smitty. Good bye, Joe. Take care of yourself. Retire as soon as you can and make a new life somewhere else. There are enemies out there still. Lots of enemies. They won’t be happy you dismantled Kirkland Barrows and his organization. So be careful.”
   Click.
The lights of a car clicked on a thousand yards behind the car Joe and Noel sat in. But before they could react something small, black, and powerful blew by them going very fast. Far too fast for them to chase. For just a brief moment they watched the taillights grow smaller and smaller. And then they disappeared altogether.
Disappeared into the darkness. Disappeared just as the first drops of rain began to rattle the roof and hood of the old Vic the two sat in.
