Sekkol: (Scifi Alien Romance) (Galaxy Alien Warriors Book 2) Page 6

by Lara LaRue

I felt him possessing me, but I refused to be completely taken. I pressed hard against his chest, so hard he jerked and then stumbled, and by the time he regained his composure, he was on his back and I was on top of him.

I gripped his member and was intrigued by how firm and hot it was to my touch as I guided it inside me. He fell flat on his back, and his arms remained at his sides as I made circular motions on him. He made weird noises, sounds I could only assume came from a place of satiation. When I started moving up and down, his eyes flew open and he shot upright. He grabbed me around the middle, but I held him there with my eyes and gripped him with my body just before he battled me with a kiss.

This time, I responded, and my tongue dove inside his mouth. I got the curious look again as he remained still and I taught him my game. I caught his tongue as I played hide-and-seek with it. But he was a fast learner, and suddenly, he caught mine as his hands found my ass and he pulled me down farther onto him. I screamed as he filled me, and my head fell back just before I felt his lips kissing my breast.

I could feel the sweat running down my face as I bobbed atop him. My cunt tightened, and I crested so hard that I felt dizzy. When I felt his grip tighten around my waist, I knew he was nearing his climax. He sank deeper within me, bellowed, and then shuddered before he grew still. He held me there, and I felt him trembling.

Then, and almost like he completely transformed, he released me and slid from underneath. He stood and replaced his clothes and then turned to me again.

“Should I expect that again?” he asked, referring to my attempt at escaping.

I didn’t respond; I wasn’t sure I wouldn’t. And like he could tell, he commanded Sari to lock up. Then he left, and I was alone.

I fell back against the plush carpeting, still feeling traces of him on my skin and inside me. The aim was to play his game, but as I lay there and stared at the white ceiling, I didn’t feel like a winner.

  Chapter 11 / Keira

I wasn’t sure how much longer I could play this game. It had been two weeks, and we had many sexual encounters. But I wasn’t any closer to scoring top points. I had been outdoors twice, always accompanied by someone of his choosing. But never with him. I wondered about that and finally decided I would broach the subject one afternoon.

“So,” I began when I saw him walk in, “are you going to take me on a date or what?” I asked playfully. I was on a chrome stool next to the counter separating the kitchen from the sitting room.

“What do you mean?” he asked, his brows knitting once more.

“You know, like dinner and a movie,” I replied. “That’s how the men do it back home. You know, that place I’d like to return to. I have people who are worried right now.” I thought I could appeal to his sensitive side.

He didn’t seem to have one. “That is not how we do it here. Here, the women stay home.”

“And do all alien men take human lovers?” I asked curiously.

“I do not understand,” he replied.

It was frustrating to talk to him sometimes; we were speaking the same language, made possible by the device still planted in my neck, but communication barriers were still mounted high.

“Making love, having sex, that thing we do, whatever you call it. We call it being lovers, referring to the people involved,” I tried to explain. I hadn’t realized how hard it was until I had to do it so frequently. How is it that I understand him perfectly? “So you and I would be lovers.”

He gave me a blank stare and then a weird look came upon his face. He seemed to be battling something inside, and he moved off, even without answering.

I ran to him and held on to his arm. “No, you are not doing that this time, Sekkol,” I said.

He looked down at my hand on his arm and then into my eyes. “I have work to do,” he told me before brushing my hand off.

I ran around to his front and pressed my hand against his chest. “Surely you can take one minute to answer me.”

“If you want to talk, I can have someone sent up. Otherwise, Sari can answer any question you may have,” he said firmly and then tried to move again.

I would not be deterred. “No, I want to talk to you. Sari cannot answer the questions I have, like why you try so hard not to be seen with me. You allow me to leave, with an escort, but it is always away from you. And when I mention sex, like I did just now, your face changes and you get quiet. What’s the big deal?”

His lips thinned to a slit in his face, and his bluish hue grew almost purple. “You ask too many questions, human,” he replied. “What you see is nothing. Now, I need to go.”

I didn’t budge, but it wasn’t hard for him to step around me. He left, and I remained with a nagging feeling within me. There was something he wasn’t telling me, but rather than remain inside, I decided I’d go out. Without telling him. I was tired of playing the slave girl. I waited until I thought he had gone before opening the door and going out.

“You should not be going out alone,” a voice came from behind at about midway down the flight of metal stairs. I looked back and saw a man coming toward me. He was a little shorter than Sekkol, with a jovial demeanor and the face of the only friend I knew. He wore a silver bodysuit and had a belt of gadgets around his waist. His black hair was pulled to his nape, and the smile, which showed perfect rows of white teeth, came next. I had first seen him when he had bought me at the auction, for Sekkol of course, but he had grown to be the only friend I had.

“Hi,” I replied as he got to me. “I just wanted to take a walk.

“That’s all? You weren’t thinking of escaping again?” He had apparently heard of my last attempts.

“Nah,” I replied and started off again as he followed me. “Where would I go?” I asked him. And it stung me as the words I had refused to accept hung from my lips.

“That’s right,” he replied. “It’s not easy getting off a place like Jupiter. It has never happened before; no earthling has ever escaped,” he added for good measure.

“Has anyone ever tried?” I wanted to know.

  “All the time.”

“And what happened?” I stopped then to survey his face and judge his response.

“They got fried,” he told me.

  “Fried?” I asked.

“Yes,” he answered. “They go into a chamber and face direct heat until their skin burns off.”

My eyes popped wide when he explained, and I shrank under his gaze. “That’s a harsh penalty,” I replied eventually and started walking again.

“It encourages subordination and cooperation,” he explained. “We take great pride here in our legal system.”

“So is that what you do? You and Sekkol?” I asked him.

We got to the bottom of the steps then, and I watched as hovercrafts lifted off and whizzed overhead. The buildings were scattered in odd shapes, a pyramid-looking one here, a diamond-shaped one there, some flat, others set at an angle, but everything coming together into a handsome abstract masterpiece. Some other locals eyed me as I walked past, and I noticed a few humans along the streets paved with a claylike matter. It seemed to be the same throughout Anon, the city in which I was now a resident.

“Yes, we are Enforcers,” he told me. “A little above the regular patrol guards.”

“So Sekkol is just a glorified policeman,” I said and gave a mocking laugh. “I am the slave of a fucking cop.”

“You speak strangely sometimes,” he replied. “And Sekkol isn’t just a regular guard, even though an Enforcer. He is the—”

“Well, well, well,” a man said, as he stepped into view. “Brom.”

“Lord Commander,” Brom responded and then made a slight bow.

The man had a harsh exterior with a face that could easily be made of stone. He looked nothing like Sekkol nor my companion, Brom. He had beady eyes on a head that seemed like a boulder, squished and dented around the edges. His frame was large, and it gave him the appearance of a mountain. His hair was white and th
in and fluttered in the breeze, as did the bronze coat he wore.

“I didn’t know you had a slave,” he said as he eyed me.

“I’m no slave,” I retorted, already taking offense to the word.

“Oh?” he asked and stepped closer to me. “What would that make you, then?”

  “I am a companion,” I told him.

“Whose?” the man asked and straightened his shoulders. He had a wicked look about him, and more than anyone else, he frightened me. But I had come to believe that Sekkol would protect me. I hoped.

  “Ta—”

“She is mine.” Brom jumped in. “I got her from that last shipment Jonas brought in from Earth.”

“Hmm,” he grunted and then looked around. “Don’t you already have one?” he asked Brom.

And why had Brom told him I belonged to him and not Sekkol?

“Is there a law against two?” Brom asked and stepped between the Lord Commander and me.

“No,” he replied and pushed the man away. “But there is one concerning defiance and conspiracy to the same.”

“There is no conspiracy, Lord Commander. She is mine, and we were just walking—”

“Slaves don’t take a walk with their owners,” he barked as I jumped and looked back in the direction of home. I had no other name for it.

His eyes narrowed as he looked back at me. “There is something about you,” he said. “Something familiar.”

  “I-I don’t know what…”

  “Silence, human!” he shouted.

“I will not be told—” The next thing I felt was his hand on my face and the burning sensation that followed. The fury swelled in me, and I raised my hand in retaliation. I was getting tired of being slapped by these fucking aliens.

“No,” Brom said and grabbed my hand before I could strike the man.

“A troublemaker,” the asshole said and then laughed. But it was not an amused one. “I think we might have to teach this one a lesson.”

“Lord Commander, please allow me to take her home. I apologize for any unintended insult, but I will see to it that she is duly punished,” Brom assured as he gripped my wrist even tighter and held it to his side.

The Lord Commander grunted and then came to stand before me. He tilted my face upward and growled, “See to it that she is kept trained, Brom.”

“Yes, Lord Commander,” he replied. And then the man walked away.

“Why did you tell him…?” I began, but Brom’s face had grown sour.

“You do not understand how things are here, human,” he told me as he gripped my hand and led me back the way we had come. “From now on, you keep a low profile. You do not want the Lord Commander knowing whom you really belong to.” He looked around him wildly now as he led me back, and I was more frightened than I had ever been. I could feel my cheek throbbing, and with the other hand, I touched the spot, the same spot Jonas, the black-market dealer, had struck me when I first arrived.

“What’s so special about Sekkol? What would have happened if he had known I belonged… that I was his…?” I paused when I couldn’t find a description adequate enough.

Brom stopped in his tracks and grabbed my arm, shaking me as he did. “Because Sekkol is no ordinary man. Because he imprinted on you and because he was not supposed to.”

He spoke, but I understood nothing he said. What did he mean he imprinted on me? And why wasn’t he supposed to? Why had he?

“I don’t understand,” I finally had the chance to say. “Imprint?”

“Let’s just go.” He scoffed as he all but carted me off. Brom stopped and checked his surroundings once more for a few minutes when we neared the steps to Sekkol’s house. “Stay indoors,” he warned me as he led me up the steps.

I was at the door and about to enter when I heard a sound behind me. Brom wheeled around and drew a cylindrical device from his waist.

“I knew something was wrong with that story,” the Lord Commander said as he materialized into view. “Something about it being your companion. I thought to myself, Now why would it refer to itself as a companion if it wasn’t treated as one? And why were you so nervous? Now I know,” he said as he chuckled and then laughed heartily.

What is so funny? What is he saying? I stood there, not knowing what to say or do, realizing now that there was too much I didn’t know.

“Guards.” He whistled, and two men bounded up the steps. “Take this human away,” he told them.

“What?” I asked in surprise as I realized what he was saying now. “No!” I ran behind Brom, hoping for his defense again. He just stood there, looking ahead and unable to defy his superior.

The men got to me and each took one of my arms. They were leading me down the stairs as I kicked and screamed against muscles I knew I could not fight.

“Brom!” I yelled to him. He had a sympathetic look about him, but he was powerless. “No. Stop!” I screamed as I drew the attention of some of the locals.

Sekkol’s hovercraft appeared just as we got to the bottom of the steps.

“Well, what do we have here?” the Lord Commander taunted as he stood before him.

He must be able to save me.

“What are you doing, Commander?” he asked.

“I think it is clear. Getting rid of your human companion,” he growled with emphasis and turned to look at me then. Sekkol gulped and then made a move toward me. “I wouldn’t do that if I were you,” the man said and dared Sekkol to defy him. Sekkol stood there without a word. “And to think, you gave up my sister… to be with a human?” he spat.

“This is none of your concern, Lord Commander,” he replied. “Release her to me, and I will deal with her.”

“None of my concern?” the commander asked. “You know the laws, Master Sekkol,” he sneered. “Better than anyone. I wonder what Lord Magnus will have to say about this.” He grinned.

What is going on? Who is Lord Magnus? Who is Sekkol?

“Sekkol,” I begged as I stretched my hand out to him. I pleaded with him, with my eyes, but the Lord Commander seemed to have all the cards.

The guards tugged at my arms and yanked me away. And the last thing I saw before I was tossed into the hovercraft with the two guards was Sekkol and Brom standing together, unable to save me the second time around.

  Chapter 12 / Keira

I bounced around in the hovercraft as it took off and sped to my doom. Panic swelled within me as I tried to stand. The vehicle made a sharp turn then, and I rolled to the other side, knocking my head against the hard plastic interior. It reminded me of the vessel that transported me to this hellhole of a planet, and for the first time in years, I missed the silence of my former life.

I would probably be sitting at my desk now, poring over numbers or writing a report for my finance manager. Celeste, the redhead in the cubicle in front of me, would be drinking coffee and chatting on her phone, right before the supervisor showed up and the mad scrambling began as she scratched at the papers on her desk in pretend labor. She would smile at him and flirt, and he would adjust his glasses and give her a warning before walking off. And as soon as he disappeared, she would hit the redial button.

“I can’t believe this shit is happening,” I muttered as I braced myself against the walls and finally stood when the machine leveled.

I traced my hands along the interior of the craft that was different than the one Sekkol and Brom usually rode around on. This was like a space car, or truck, because it had a storage unit at the back and thick black glass separating me from the driver. The ones Brom and Sekkol rode resembled flying motorcycles.

I hobbled over to the glass and began pounding. “Hey, let me out. Let me out.” My palms were growing red the more I banged, but not once did the window roll down or the driver reveal himself. “No,” I whispered, as I slid back to the ground, the glass now to my back. “No!” I screamed as I felt the tears beginning to trickle down my cheeks. “Not again.”

A few weeks ago, I was chained to a set of humans
, fresh from being kidnapped from Earth. We were dragged through the town upon our arrival to the planet Jupiter. I didn’t even know life in this place existed, but I was a fast believer when the aliens started poking me along the journey to a cave of sorts. I was already auctioned off, sold to an alien cop called Sekkol, and made to have sex with him. I had thought that would bring me escape if I got close enough to him, but after weeks there, it became obvious breaking free would not be that easy.

I had thought him strange and cruel at first and was irritated at how he expected me to bend to his every will. But there was also a side of him that intrigued me, even more so when I was taken by his commander, a cold and cruel alien man who seemed to have a sinister agenda, and how Sekkol had tried to defend me.

Now here I was, trapped in the commander’s vehicle and being taken to God knows where. I wasn’t even sure if Sekkol would be able to save me this time or why I was taken from him. As far as I understood, slaves were allowed. But there seemed to be something different about him, and I might not even get the chance to figure it out.

I was ruminating still when the hovercraft stopped. My eyes popped, and I got to my feet. The door opened, and the sun reflected on my face and blocked my vision. My hands fell over my eyes to form a shield before my pupils adjusted, and I saw the evil commander again.

“Get it out of there,” he said to someone I couldn’t see just yet.

Two other aliens appeared shortly after, hopped into the hovercraft, and grabbed my hands.

“No. Let me go!” I shouted and struggled against them, kicking and flailing my arms as I did. Their grip on me tightened as they dragged me outside.

The commander was standing there wearing a mean expression and scowling and seemed to be surveying me. “Bring her to me,” his voice boomed.

I was hauled to the place he stood, with the other aliens on either side of me. I looked into the harsh face of the man, and I saw no trace of humanity there. Or whatever it was called here. He reached out and squeezed my cheek, and I cringed and turned my head away as I felt his bony fingers pinching my skin. He gripped my chin and brought my head back around, forcing my eyes to his.
