I blinked, not the reaction I was expecting but it was better than him being angry. “I’m sorry,” I said quietly and felt tears filling my eyes.

Noah’s body turned, his face looked at mine and all I could see was panic, “Baby, I’m really excited, more than excited. It’s just wow, I got you pregnant, like your Dad is going to kill me.”

I laughed, crying still as I sat up and wiped my eyes. “I am so scared Noah, I don’t want you to hate me or pretend to be happy,” I said, worried that he really was feeling sick about me being pregnant.

“Mia,” Noah laid back down, his hand running up and underneath my top and resting it against my flat stomach. “Baby, I promise this is great news. I’m going to be a Dad, and you’re going to be a sexy Mummy.”

I smiled, “I am really happy Noah, and I know we were wanting to wait for a few years but I am really excited.”

“Good, me too. We need to move, we need to get you into the doctors,” he said leaning over and kissing me. “You’re giving me a baby, that’s just awesome news.”

I laughed, “You’re giving me a baby too. I haven’t even felt sick. I didn’t know I was late until I was counting the days I’d left school for and then realised I’m two weeks late.”

“Do you think your Dad will be pissed? I don’t really care but he owns a gun and all,” he grinned as he moved on top of me. I shook my head. Noah’s hands cupped my breasts as he pushed them up. “I knew they looked bigger for a reason.”

I laughed loudly, “Oh and my pervert husband is back, yes and they’re sore.”

He bent down and kissed me, letting his hands slide down to my waist as he deepened the kiss. “I think I need a reminder of how this baby was made, don’t you think?”

I moaned softly, Noah’s hand sliding between my thighs and underneath my panties. “Noah, yeah I think you should,” I said kissing him back deeply.

Noah wasted no time in giving me a reminder. Then another one, and finally another one. All by 8am. I was sleepy but he was extremely turned on at the fact I was pregnant with his baby inside me.

“God you’re so sexy,” Noah murmured, his lips against my skin, shifting as he came back up from between my thighs and wiping his chin as I caught my breath from the incredible high he just gave me. “I love you Mia.”

I smiled, my legs still tingling as he entered me. “I love you, god I need you so bad Noah,” I said, grabbing him by the waist as he came back down closer and kissed me as be began thrusting, deeper and faster as I held him close, legs locking him as I bucked my hips to meet his thrusts.

We in fact had spent most the day in bed. Ignoring both our phones and turning them off as his Mum tried calling and calling, it got to the point where she came pounding on our door and calling out for us. Neither of us listened, too caught up in our heated desire to have one another over and over again.

5pm we finally came out of the bedroom, only to get some food and then go back to bed.

The next morning I woke, extremely sore but I had a smile across my face as I rolled over to a naked Noah who was smiling back at me.

“Good morning baby,” he leant in and placed a kiss against my lips.

I kissed him back, my thigh draped over his hips as I ran my hand over his chest. “Very good morning,” I corrected.

“It will be,” He winked and soon Noah and I were back at it. Having slept only a few hours, this man had an insane sex drive at the moment, not that I was complaining. Because I would have to be crazy to complain about the way he took care of me, in and out of the bedroom.

After we both finally showered it was almost 3pm and we needed to go and see what his Mum wanted. We had almost twenty voice messages between us and fifteen text messages. I didn’t feel bad, but I know Noah did. He didn’t like to ignore her but sometimes it just had to be done.

Noah knocked on the door but kept his eyes to mine, giving me a smile as his spare hand went over my stomach and patted it softly. We decided to see the doctor before we would tell our parents the news that we were pregnant, I could only imagine the overbearingness that Louise would do.

“Noah, Mia, You both finally decide to answer?” Louise said, looking at us both with an annoyed smile.

  I nodded. “Sorry.”

Noah shrugged, “We were busy. What is it that you needed?” he asked her.

“Oh my TV won’t pick up Foxtel, how do I get it?” She asked.

Noah groaned loudly, “You’re kidding me right? You do know that has to be installed and you pay for it, its pay per view TV. You can’t install it yourself.”

“But your TV has it, maybe I could just come and record the shows I want to watch and come down once a week to watch them all, saves me paying for that,” she said, opening the door wider to let us in.

The idea of her sitting in our place watching TV for a full day definitely bothered me. Her home was set up nice, and she wasn’t working. I think she was still depending on Noah to support her which didn’t sit well with me.

“Mum, we need to talk. Sit down,” Noah said quietly, walking over to the couch and sitting. I sat on the couch beside him.

Louise followed, sitting opposite us. “What is it dear? Everything ok?”

Noah sighed, leaning back. “Mum you’ve got to stop calling us all through the night, the text messages and door banging isn’t on. I’m sorry, it’s really starting to piss me off. I can’t sleep because you need something done at 4am which isn’t hard to fix yourself and you’re not coming to watch TV once a week.”

She sighed, “I know, I’m just lonely and want company.”

“Well how about you look for work or go visit some of your old friends, I know you have some that aren’t drunken crack heads,” he said scratching the base of his neck.

“No one will hire me, I’m almost 50 Noah,” she said, leaning back and picking up her coffee.

I felt bad, maybe all she wanted was company. “You can work for me, I’m opening up the bakery again in a couple months. I don’t have anyone else to help in there yet?” I suggested.

Noah shot me a look, “Are you sure? I mean you don’t need to do this Mia.”

“I know, and I won’t be pushed around in there. I will be the boss, she will work and that could be good for her,” I said back to him.

“I’m right here you know,” Louise said with a slight laugh. “Mia sweetie, you don’t need to do this.”

“I know, but you said no one will hire you. At work you can work, clean and cook. I can teach you how to do things but only if you stop with the calls, I’m tired and it’s only going to get worse. We need our sleep and rest,” I said yawning, my cheeks flushed as I didn’t realise how tired I still was.

Louise looked at Noah, then towards me. Then a massive smile burst out across her face, “Oh my, well I think I could do that. I promise you, I won’t cause any more problems,” she smiled then looked at us with narrowed eyes. “Mia, Noah,” she said slowly, “Are you two are pregnant?”

“Mum what? No!” Noah coughed awkwardly, not making eye contact with her.

“Oh don’t you lie to me boy, I know a pregnant woman when I see one. Well my goodness why didn’t you tell me, I wouldn’t have bothered you both so much,” She said smiling brightly.

I smiled, a little nervous to talk about it. “We only just found out. We still need to see a doctor.”

The next thing I knew, Louise was jumping up and racing into the kitchen. “I made a cake, we need to celebrate. Damn Noah I’m going to be a grandma, I am so thrilled.”

I looked over at Noah and he rubbed his temples, “I’m sorry baby, I didn’t think she’d guess like that.”

I leant into him and kissed his lips, “It’s ok Daddy, and maybe this will kick her back a notch or two?” I said quietly.

Noah just smirked, chuckling softly. “Hmm I think you’re right baby, she seems to be more excited and like how she was growing up. She was bipolar to the max living with us. But we are still moving, somewhere with a y
ard for those kids.”

“Kids?” I asked, giving him a raised brow.

“Oh yes, we can’t just have one baby. He or she will need a playmate after a year or two,” He winked, kissing me again quickly.

I couldn’t help but smile, things were going faster than we had planned but I was only looking forward to the future, I couldn’t wait until we got to have a scan and see our baby. The baby Noah and I created together.

Louise walked back in carrying a plate with a tea cake and pot of tea. “I am so thrilled, this news has really made my day,” she smiled sitting down, looking a teary. “A little baby, I can’t even explain the excitement I am feeling right now, you two are going to make a gorgeous child.”

I smiled back, Noah took my hand and kissed it. “I know, we’ve still got to go tell Mia’s Dad. He may want to throttle me,” he chuckled.

We had tea and cake then ventured back to our apartment, Noah picked me up and carried me through our door. Kissing me until he sat me down on the couch, we had decided to call Dad and see where he was. We may as well get that news over with today as well.

I dialled his number and the phone rang, it rang seven times before he finally answered. “Mia?”

“Hey Dad, what are you up too?” I asked nervously, trying to sound normal.

“Just working,” he said sounding tired. “How are you?”

I looked at Noah as I put the phone on speaker, my heart thudding loudly as I spoke. “Uh we’re good. We was going to come and see you but you’re at work so I’ll have to tell you over the phone.”

“Tell me what?” he said, his tone scared me a little.

I looked at Noah and he gave me the reassuring smile I needed to continue speaking. “Noah and I are having a baby.”

The line was dead silent. Nothing spoken from either of us as we waited for Dad’s reply, and then I finally got it. I could hear him crying.

“Dad?” I said, worried he was angry.

He blew his nose and then must have picked the phone back up, “Oh dear that’s just lovely news. I will finish up and grab us some dinner. How about I come over in an hour, and get Noah to invite his mother, we need to celebrate this. This has just really made my day Mia, you’re going to make a wonderful parents.”

I sat there, tears running down my cheeks as I hung up the phone. I hadn’t expected that reaction at all, I was really emotionally happy that he was so happy about this.

“You ok?” Noah asked, rubbing my back in soothing circles.

I looked at him and grinned so big, wrapping my arms around his neck. “I love you so much Noah, I am perfectly ok.”

“Good,” he said kissing my cheek hard. He pulled away and stood up, taking my hand as he lifted me up too. “Come on, before he gets here.”

I looked at him, a little confused until it clicked. “Again? Noah we need to tell your Mum about dinner.”

He grabbed his phone, his fingers moving fast and he then tossed the phone down. “There, told her dinner at ours in thirty, now bedroom.”

I laughed, following him to our bedroom and watching him as he started stripping off, “Yeah, it’s no wonder I’m pregnant baby Daddy.”

Noah turned around and gave me a lazy, sexy smile. “You’re not going to call me that are you?” he laughed as he pulled me close. His mouth skimming down my neck and towards my collarbone, sucking and kissing feathery kisses as he then kissed his way back up to my lips. “You did get the other thing right though, now pants off baby and on the bed. I need to make love to my sexy baby Mumma.”

I had a feeling Noah was going to turn into a sexual monster through this pregnancy.

  Chapter Thirty Six

“Babe you in here? We’re going to be late?” Noah called out as he entered the bakery.

I was down on my hands and knees, wiping all the glass fridges clean and spraying them with a vanilla essence to keep them fresh smelling. I sat up on my knees, “Down here, what’s the time?” I asked as I stood up.

“We’ve got an hour, you feeling alright?” He asked me as he took his ray bans off and placed them on the front of his shirt.

I nodded, leaning on the bench top. “Yeah I am feeling good, just cleaning while your Mum’s washing the floors out the back.”

Noah and I found out we were pregnant a little over a month ago, blood tests confirmed the news and today we were having our first ultrasound. Both of us extremely excited to see our little growing baby for the first time.

“How’s she going?” He asked, leaning over and kissing me.

“Good,” I replied. “She’s been good, it’s kind of nice.”

Louise hadn’t had any of her crazy, hormonal up and down emotional changes. She was actually like the first time I had met her. Sweet, caring and helpful. The phone calls had even stopped, which was shocking. Not one call was made to us unless it was a text to ask if we’d like anything from the store or if she could come and drop some food off. Announcing we were pregnant had her cooking and offering to do our laundry weekly. She was acting like the Mother I no longer had, her and I were definitely having a closer relationship.

Noah looked around, walking over to the table and chairs and took a seat. “Sit for a moment, I need to talk to you.”

“Sounds serious,” I said taking my gloves off, then walking over towards him.

“It is,” he sighed, patting his legs motioning me for sit there.

I sat down and turned so I was now facing him. “What’s wrong?” I asked, worried that something had happened or was going to happen.

“No nothing bad, I just want to talk about us buying a house,” he said.

“Oh, is there one you like?” I asked.

We hadn’t really looked around, we had a book at home with some listings and checked online but the topic of which house wasn’t a main priority. I had been busy sorting out the bakery and cleaning that up for when it re opened in a month’s time, there was so much to do. I had to change all the ordering details and make new delivery schedules. It was crazy busy, and the place hadn’t even opened yet.

Noah nodded, “There is one that I think would be good for us, not too far away but not too close to town. It’s a four bedroom, two bathroom. Very clean and modern. It’s also fully fenced with remote locking, the yard isn’t too big but there is enough room for swings, trampoline and bikes to be ridden, even a dog if we got one.”

“Do you really like it?” I asked, playing with the hair on the nape of his neck.

“I do. I think it would be good for our first home together, it’s also empty at the moment and the owners want a quick sell,” he kept his eyes to mine, they flickered down to my lips for a moment before he looked back up.

I kissed him gently, pulling back I nodded, “Ok. Let’s go and look at it, whenever we’re able to.”

“I have the keys, we can go after our appointment,” he said, giving me a cheeky grin.

I laughed shaking my head at him. “Of course you do, ok well I am almost done here. Then we get to see our little bub,” I grinned, giving him an eskimo kiss.

He chuckled as our noses rubbed together, “That we do beautiful, my pregnant wife.”

Louise came out and smiled seeing her son here also, “Noah, you going to take Mia to her appointment?” she asked.

“Yes we’re leaving now,” I stood up as Noah followed behind me.

Grabbing my bag I met him outside in his car, I was even beginning to feel more pregnant. The vomiting wasn’t often, but the sleepiness was hitting me hard.

Noah reached over and took hold of my hand as we walked into the hospital. “How’s the heartburn?” he asked softly.

That was something I had been experiencing of a late morning and then again in the evening, “Not as bad now I drank that milkshake, but it’s still there.”

“I know something that would fix it,” he said under his breath which in return I elbowed him in the side for being so dirty. Noah just chuckled loudly, wrapping an arm around my waist and kissi
ng the side of my head. “Love you Mia.”

“Love you too Noah,” I smiled as we walked into the small reception room.

Waiting definitely wasn’t what I wanted to do right now, especially since my bladder felt as if I was ready to burst. I had to drink four large cups of water, I think if Noah made me laugh on more time then I definitely was going to wet myself.

We were soon called and I suddenly felt nervous, I was overly anxious and worried that maybe something would be wrong with the baby or my worst fear, there wasn’t a baby there. I tried not to think about that, but since I hadn’t had any morning sickness I was wondering if things were ok.

Noah took a seat beside me as I lay down, the man doing the ultrasound pulled my top up and lowered my bottoms. I noticed Noah shifting uncomfortably when my underwear was pulled quite low and showed off some of my smooth skin that only Noah had seen. I reached over and took his hand, giving him a squeeze as the scanner was soon placed over my lower stomach and pushed down, making my cross my legs.

“Ok let’s have a look here,” The guy said, keeping his eyes on the screen as Noah and I looked at the other screen on the wall. A couple minutes in and I heard a couple of clicks, “Ok well if you look at the screen when the mouse is, you will see I’m not pointing to each of the sacs, babies are growing nicely and are at the same size for eleven weeks.”

My eyes soon shot open, “I’m sorry, what? Did you say babies?” I asked completely confused.

“You mean?” Noah said, obviously excited that we were having more than one baby.

“I’m sorry I thought you both knew, yes two sacs meaning fraternal twins,” our doctor chuckled, “I will just do a little more measuring and then get a disc ready for you to take home.”

I looked over at Noah who was beaming from ear to ear, I couldn’t help but smile also. Two babies, Noah and I were going to have twins. This was definitely exciting news, I was so lucky right now.

When we left we headed to the house that Noah wanted to show me, I sat in the car and just stared out the window. Noah hadn’t really said much since we left the doctors and I was still in a little shock. I hadn’t expected that at all.
