I didn’t think it could be possible but fuck, this second time might have been better than the first one. And that makes me wonder.

How good could it possibly get with Elizabeth?

  Chapter Ten

  Elizabeth

  Holy fuck, that was incredible.

I’m rendered speechless, which is usually an impossible feat, but this man continues to do things to me I thought no man ever could. He moves his arms, helping me stretch my legs back down on the bed. While his softening cock is still resting inside me and he’s stretched across my body, he reaches up and undoes the knot in the tie, setting me free. He rubs my arms from wrist to shoulder as he brings them back down from over my head, the blood flow sending tingles up and down my limbs. Despite their protest, I pull my hands up to the back of his neck and pull him into another deep kiss.

His spent cock now rests against my well-used pussy, and he pulls away from the kiss, looking me in the eyes.

“That was incredible.” Those words feel like they don’t do justice to what just happened. I let this devilishly sexy man tie me up, fuck me, and choke me, and I’ve never been more turned on in my life. Never in a million years did I think I’d be into the bondage stuff. I guess I was wrong, because we will certainly explore this side again, if I have anything to say about it.

“Incredible, amazing, hot as all fuck,” he smiles and answers, kissing me softly on the lips before climbing off me and making his way to the bathroom to dispose of the condom. I haven’t moved, still stretched out across my bed when he returns with a warm, wet washcloth for me. “I’m going to grab my gym bag out front. Be right back.”

I watch as he strolls to the bedroom door, opens it, and disappears down the hall, butt-ass naked—and what an ass it is. Firm, tight, and tanned, my mouth waters at the thought of taking a bite out of it, marking that perfect, unmarred flesh with my teeth.

  Geez Liz, get a grip.

I clean myself up while he’s getting his bag, and put on a fresh pair of panties—because obviously, the others were soaked the minute this man walked in my front door. I head to the side of the bed to retrieve my t-shirt, but the sight of his button-up has me changing my mind. Picking it up off the floor, I slip it on, inhaling the scent that is pure Sloan. It’s an intoxicating mix of his manly body wash and spicy cologne, and after I button a few of the buttons, I pull the collar up to my nose and breathe deeply. That’s the way Sloan finds me when he comes back into my room, sporting a pair of gray athletic shorts and a muscle tank showing off ripped arms a lawyer has no business having. He tosses his bag by the door and smiles in my direction.

“I hope you don’t mind. I couldn’t resist.” He strolls up to me, taking my face in both his hands and kissing me deeply, almost making my knees wobble in the process. He pulls away from the kiss, and the smile is back across his face.

“Of course not. You look sexy as fuck in that shirt. Nothing sexier than seeing you wearing my button-up right now.”

“Hungry?” I ask, taking his hand in mine, and pulling him along behind me into the kitchen.

  “Starved.”

I lead him out of the bedroom and down the hall, into my kitchen. Our bare feet patter over the tile, and when we reach the counter, I take the stack of local take out menus out of the drawer and fan them on top of the island.

“What’s your pleasure?” I hear the way it sounds after it’s already out of my mouth, and Sloan catches it too. He grabs me and pulls me close to him, our bodies pressed together where there’s almost no space between us.

“I say skip the food and go straight to dessert. That’s my pleasure.” He pins me against the counter, taking my mouth in another sexy, slow kiss that doesn’t last nearly long enough. At almost the same time, our stomachs rumble in hungry protest. We laugh and pull away from each other, flipping through the menus before finally deciding to order Chinese take-out from the restaurant a few blocks over.

While waiting for the food to arrive, we lay out a blanket across my bedroom floor at the foot of my king size bed and set up a picnic. I know it would be easier if we ate in the dining room or at the kitchenette, but his suggestion of a picnic sounds fun and I instantly say yes. I grab a small ice bucket from under the counter, sort of like a wine chiller but bigger, throw a few bottles of beer in it from the fridge, and toss ice on it to keep it cold.

The delivery only takes twenty minutes to get there and as I left him in charge of the ordering, there seems to be enough food to feed a small army. We bring the bags back to my room and spread them around on the blanketed floor, eating straight from the containers as we get to know each other better. We’ve already slept together twice, but we still don’t know each other very well. It seems like a backwards way to do things but hey, we know what this is, and the rules of dating don’t apply when we’re not in it for the long haul.

“So, it’s only you and your brother?”

He licks a drip of sweet and sour sauce off his thumb before answering. “No, there are four of us. I’m the oldest, then there’s Cade—the guy you met at the bar—Asher, and Nikolas.”

“Wow, four boys. I bet your mom had her hands full.”

“Yes, she did.” He chuckles at the thought. “What about you? Any other siblings, besides Carson?”

“Nope, only the two of us. Mom likes to joke she got a two for one deal and she wasn’t about to push her luck.” I laugh at the thought of my mom’s teasing. “She got her girl, and dad got his boy. They were all set.”

We’ve made it most of the way through our food when Sloan’s phone rings from somewhere in the room, in the general direction of his pants. He doesn’t make a move to find it, his eyes still focused on me even as we stop talking.

“Aren’t you going to answer that?” I gesture towards the side of the room where his phone is with a nod of my head, my hands otherwise occupied with chopsticks and noodles.

  “Nah, that would be rude.”

I pass him the container of Lo Mein and stand up off the floor, making my way over to his pants lying in a heap across the room and retrieve his phone from his pocket. “Don’t be silly. Answer it. It could be important.” I hand him the phone and sit back down to our makeshift picnic while he answers it.

  “Hello?”

From the other end of the line I hear a loud, booming male voice shout, “SHE SAID YES!” It’s so loud, in fact, Sloan pulls the phone away from his ear as he laughs.

“Come on, man. You knew she would. Congratulations little brother. I’m happy for you. I thought you were planning to ask her sooner?” He watches me as I stand up again and slip out the door. I feel awkward listening in on his conversation and I figure he could use privacy. Slipping into the kitchen, I grab a bottle of water from the fridge, lingering for a few minutes to give him more time to chat. He’s ending the call with his brother when I walk back into the room.

“That was my brother Cade.” He smiles and tosses his phone over to the side. “He just asked his girlfriend, who happens to be my legal assistant Nora, to marry him and she said yes.” He laughs and tosses the phone down on the floor beside him.

“How exciting! Tell him I said congratulations.” I could tell him myself, but I don’t know if I’ll ever see him again, to be honest.

“Well, I was thinking you could tell him yourself.” Sloan echoes my thoughts, but looks hesitant when he speaks. “My mom’s already putting together an impromptu engagement party for Saturday night, and Cade said I should invite you to come along. I’d love it if you joined me if you don’t already have plans.”

The smile is impossible to keep from my face. “I’d love too. Carson won’t be back until Sunday so it works out perfectly. You’re saving me from a night of ice cream and bad reality television.”

He laughs. “Just call me your knight in shining armor.”

I can’t help but laugh too. I could easily see him coming to my rescue—my hero, willing to both save me and ravish me. “So, your brother and his new fiancée.
How long have they been together?” I ask, picking up the Lo Mein and taking another bite.

“Not long. I’m not sure, but it’s less than a year. Seven or eight months, maybe.” He stares off into the distance, going quiet when he’s done talking.

“What’s wrong?” I hesitate to ask since it’s none of my business but, I can tell something is off about him.

He looks back up to me and answers. “Oh, it’s nothing.

I can tell his mood has shifted, but I don’t want to push. It’s none of my business. “Okay. You don’t have to talk about it with me if you don’t want to. I won’t push.” Oddly, I feel a little hurt that he doesn’t want to talk about it. Deep down, I realize it’s because I do want him to open himself up to me, to get to know him better and to understand what goes on inside that gorgeous head of his. It’s a feeling I don’t know what to think about or how to process, the extent of my knowledge of my previous hook-ups being minimal since I never had the desire to get to know them beyond the bedroom. But Sloan is different, and even I can admit that I want to know him outside of the bedroom too. I try not to get lost in my head about it right now.

“It’s not that I don’t want to talk about it with you. It’s just hard to explain.” He pauses for a beat. “And I can’t do it without explaining about Bridgett and I’m sure you want to hear about my ex-girlfriend about as much as I want to talk about her.”

“If it’ll make you feel better to get it off your chest, I’m a good listener.” I don’t want to push, but I can’t help but wonder what kind of idiot would let this man slip through her fingers. If he were my boyfriend, I wouldn’t let him go.

  Would I?

  That’s an interesting thought.

He hesitates, taking his time chewing the bite of food, gathering his thoughts before he launches into his story.

“Bridgett and I were together for a few years. Everybody assumed we’d eventually get married, but I never had the desire to make it permanent, you know? I was content with the way things were between us. Why rock the boat, right? But then I came home from a business trip and caught her in bed with this douche she worked with. She’d been sleeping with him for months. I’d been gone a lot, working all the time, but it still wasn’t an excuse for her to do what she did. I did a lot of thinking after she moved out of our apartment. I realized I was more upset that she’d cheated on me than I was that the relationship was over.” He takes a second to gather his thoughts again and get a drink. “Anyway, it wasn’t long after Bridgett and I split up that Cade had decided he was going to propose to Nora. It makes me wonder, how did he know she was the right one for him? He knew Nora way less time than I knew Bridgett, and I never even had marriage on the radar.”

I think about what I want to say. “Sounds like maybe deep down you knew she wasn’t the right one for you. And for the record, I think she’s a fool for letting you slip through her fingers.” I realize how it sounds the minute it leaves my mouth, but I won’t take it back. Everything I know about this man so far is amazing and he deserves to know that too. He says he’s not looking for a relationship, like me, but I feel like I would wonder the same thing if I was in his position.

He lets out a small chuckle. “That’s what I thought too. Anyway, enough about her. The past is over and done with, and I can’t change it, not that I want to.” He reaches across and grabs me by the arms, pulling me toward him, then up into his lap, my legs snaking around his waist. “We’ve got something more important to discuss.”

I slip my arms around his neck and hold on to him, tracing my lips lightly across his. “Oh, yeah? And what might that be?”

He slides his hand down under the waistband of my panties and rubs his fingers over my slit that’s already getting slick for him. “How I can convince you to let me in this pussy again.”

My skin flushes with heat, the blush at his dirty words spreading across my skin like wildfire. I clear my throat before speaking. “Mmmm, no more talking. Just do it.”

  And he does.

  So, so well.

  Chapter Eleven

  Sloan

Saturday takes an eternity to get here.

It’s only been less than week since I saw Lizzy at her house, but it feels like months. I hated leaving her that night, and thanks to several more rounds of sex after dinner, it turned out to be late when I finally got home. If I’d had my way, I would never have left, choosing instead to curl up next to her in that big bed and wake up with her again in the morning. I wasn’t sure how it would sit with her though. Sleepovers seem more like things couples do. We’re not a couple. We’re two people having fun with each other. Friends with benefits, for lack of a better term.

It’s about nothing more than satisfying my dick and her pussy.

If I’m being honest though, I’m having a hard time convincing myself that’s all there is to it. I genuinely like her, more than I thought I could, and certainly in a different way than I expected, even though I don’t want to get seriously involved with anyone right now. And I get the feeling she feels the same way. My heart might be confused right now, but my head and my dick are on the same page. It doesn’t make it any less confusing though, and for what seems like the tenth time in the last two days, I put thoughts of anything more than a sexual relationship with Lizzy out of my mind.

I’ve been productive with my day today despite my distractions. I hit the gym this morning with Nikolas, then ran errands, and even did paperwork in my home office. My attempt at distracting myself seems to do the trick, though, because before I realize it, it’s time to get ready to pick up Lizzy for the dinner party. I showered after the gym this morning, but being out in the Florida heat and humidity all day warrants another one. I turn on the shower and strip down while I’m waiting for the water to heat up. When it’s ready, I step in under the warm spray and let the water stream over my body. As much as I try not to let it happen, my mind wanders to Lizzy. We texted today, mostly her making sure she knew how to dress for the party, but our flirty banter turned hotter than I planned. There may have been a rapid-fire exchange of naughty gifs and a few vivid descriptions of what I wanted to do to her.

Then I remember the text she sent me in response to a dirty gif I found of a girl on her knees, sucking a guy off. Within seconds of me sending it, she messaged back “I can’t wait to suck you like she’s sucking him.”

  Holy fuck.

My dick had jumped to attention when I read the text, and I ended up spending an extra ten minutes sitting in the car in the grocery store parking lot waiting for my dick to go down so I could go inside. Now, as the memory of those words fills my brain, I’m hard as a rock all over again. I run my soapy hands over my chest and down my ripped stomach, down in between my legs and around my balls. With my other hand, I palm my dick and give it a few hard strokes. The skin is pulled tight, my cock standing at full attention now. I run my hand up along the shaft, jerking it from root to tip until I can feel the tingles starting in my balls. My eyes close of their own accord, the vision of Lizzy on her knees before me so vivid I almost think it’s real. Her hands are the ones on my cock, not mine.

I can imagine her lips taking me in her mouth, pulling me all the way in like the girl in the gif did. She sucks me in deep, urging me to take control, which I do. I can feel myself fucking her mouth while she moans and squeezes my ass. My vision is clear—so fucking real—I get lost in the moment, lost in the idea of her hot, wet mouth on me. I can feel her hands slide from my ass and grip my thighs, then push upward to cup my sack in her hand. I never stop pushing into her mouth, the feel of her tongue sliding over the sensitive underside of my dick speeding me toward the finish line. Her touch is firm and the tugs on my balls feel like the real thing. The thought of her hands gripping me that way sends me over the edge. With one last thrust into my hand, I come all over it, long spurts of cum shooting onto the shower floor. I lean my other hand against the tiled wall, catching my breath as I stroke the last bit of pleasure out of me. I was h
oping this would quench my thirst for her for the time being, but it doesn’t. It only makes me want her more, but for now it’ll have to do. I vow to be patient because soon enough, I’ll have her under me again.

I finish soaping and rinsing, then turn off the water and step out of the shower, toweling off as I walk through my bedroom naked. I spray on my cologne and apply deodorant, then work my fingers through my wet hair. Having laid out what I was wearing earlier, it won’t take long to get dressed. The party is going be a casual affair, a mix of indoor mingling and backyard lounging, so I opt to go with a pair of black cargo shorts with a blue fitted t-shirt and blue boat shoes. I text Lizzy and let her know I’m on my way and hop in my car to pick her up.

The whole way there, all I can think about is how I can get out of going to this engagement party. I’d love nothing more than staying home and keeping Lizzy in bed all night. But I promised my mother I’d be there, and if there’s one thing you don’t do, it’s break a promise to Leanne Wesley. I already know she’ll have plenty of questions about Lizzy, ones that I’m not ready to answer, but I’ll cross that bridge when I get to it. Tonight, it’s all about Cade and Nora, and I’m counting on the joy of their pending nuptials to keep the focus off me.

  Fingers crossed.

I pull up to the house and park in my usual spot. She must see me coming because she’s standing in the open doorway when I get to the small front step. My mouth waters at the sight of her. She’s standing there wearing a halter top style summer dress that’s tight on top, cinched at the waist, and flowy on the bottom. The front of the dress comes down mid-thigh, showing off those gorgeous legs I’m quickly becoming addicted to, but it’s longer in the back, draping past her knees. A sexy pair of strappy white sandals adorn her feet, and as my eyes travel up her toned legs, I notice her dress is blue. The same color blue as my shirt.
