She did as he asked, her arse tingling against the covers.
Aiden stood and walked toward her. She noticed he had another erection. She groaned silently as he got closer. She could feel the moisture between her legs almost dripping. He continued past the bed and as she watched, he picked up a condom. Returning to her, he gave it to her.
“Open it.”
She used her teeth to tear open the packet.
“Roll it on.”
She grasped his cock in one hand and put the tip of the condom over the head, then rolled it down.
“On your knees. I want to take you from behind so I can see where I hit you.”
Jessica quickly obeyed him, opening her legs wide for him. He put one hand on her sore cheeks and then she felt him thrust into her.
She almost screamed with delight as he began to pound her. She felt his teeth on her arse cheeks, intensifying the burning sensation. With one hand, he circled around her body and began to rub her clit.
“Oh god, no!” She screamed. There was no way she could hold back her climax with him doing that.
“Yes. Do not come! And do not speak,” he grunted back to her as he continued to pound her mercilessly. Her breasts were swaying, jiggling, jerking back and forth as he kept up his relentless assault on her.
She tensed, trying desperately to halt the oncoming climax. She was sure he must have taken pity on her or else his own orgasm was hovering because he shouted at her.
“Come!”
That was all she needed. She screamed his name as her orgasm shuddered across her. She felt Aiden drop his hand from her clit and grab her hips, pulling her harder onto his cock as he, too, screamed.
Jessica’s arms were shaking and she collapsed. Aiden fell forward with her, and she felt his penis slip from within her body. He rolled to the side and lay panting.
Jess had no idea of how long she lay there. She felt as if she was floating. Vaguely, she felt Aiden stand. A few moments later he was washing between her legs, then she felt him rubbing cream onto her bottom. She thought she was having some sort of out-of-body experience. Nothing felt real. She remembered reading about sub-space.
Was this it?
If it was, it felt wonderful.
Aiden pulled her into his arms and they lay together. She felt comforted. She felt safe. Dare she think it? Yes, she felt loved.
Jessica thought she must have fallen asleep for a while. When she opened her eyes, she found she had manoeuvred her body to curve into Aiden’s, one arm across his chest along with her head.
She lifted her head and those amazing green eyes looked at her.
“Welcome back, little one.”
Chapter Thirteen
Jess looked up at Aiden.
It had been so different. Even in the first couple of months with Dennis, he had never cared for her after lovemaking. In fact, although she used to have orgasms, they were nothing like those she’d experienced with Aiden. She’d never before had multiple.
Dennis had never told her she wasn’t to come, sometimes she had tried to hold her orgasm back to see if it would make it stronger. But Dennis have never sounded as in control as Aiden did. How could she have ever thought he was like Dennis?
She thought she had faced the truth about Dennis long ago. But now she realised he had never been a Dom, he had used that name to cover the fact he was just an abusive sadistic bastard. She had just experienced what a true Dom was, and it was so far away from what she had with Dennis. It was like comparing the proverbial chalk and cheese. She wondered how she’d been so blind when she was with Dennis. Maybe it was because she was so innocent back then, so naïve and so easily manipulated.
But still, why had she been so weak, accepting the abuse he dished out like a willing victim?
Well, she was determined it would never happen again. She was stronger, no one would ever take advantage of her again, never abuse the trust she gave.
Yes, that was the whole crux of things—trust.
Could she trust Aiden? Could she willingly hand over control to him and expect him to stay within the boundaries he told her they would set?
“What is it, Jessie?”
“Nothing.”
“Rubbish.”
“Honestly, it’s nothing.”
Aiden sounded a little angry as he spoke.
“Don’t lie, Jess. I want this to work between us and that means no lies, no hiding behind pretend ‘nothings.’ It means we’re both honest and open about everything.”
She searched his face. He spoke truthfully.
“It’s hard for me,” she whispered. “Hard to trust, hard to give up control, hard to open up.” She buried her face in his chest and murmured, “I’m really frightened.”
She felt Aiden’s hand under her chin.
“Look at me, Jess.”
She raised her face from his chest.
“I do know. I’m not such a fool as to expect that after a night of tears, everything would be rosy. I do understand. We’ll take this one day at a time. I know you were scared when I smacked that pretty arse of yours. But I also know that it made you even more excited.”
Jess couldn’t answer. She had been excited.
“I don’t expect you to trust me just because I tell you to. I know perfectly well I have to earn it. Tonight we went a little ways along the path. You let me bind you, you let me hit you. I promise you, Jess, anytime you tell me to stop, use your safe word and I’ll stop instantly. This works two ways. You make me happy when I make you happy.”
“Okay.” She whispered.
“Now, tell me what you were thinking about.”
Haltingly she told him what she had thought, how she given everything to Dennis, and he had abused her. She still didn’t understand why she’d stayed as long as she did. She was frightened. Could she hand over control and trust? Could she accept that Aiden would respect her limits?
“My Jess, it will work out. Don’t expect it overnight. I don’t. As for why you stayed, I imagine you feared for your life if you left him. You were probably embarrassed that people would find out. It was your first sexual experience, so maybe in the beginning you thought it was normal, and then before you knew it, you were in too deep to pull out. He brainwashed you. Made you feel isolated, without friends. Did he threaten to kill you if you left?”
Jessica nodded.
“But I’m proud of you. You discovered he intended to get rid of you and you found the courage to escape.”
He held her tight and kissed her forehead.
“I promise never to do any of those things. I really do, Jess.”
Jess could only nod her head. It was a little overwhelming.
“Tell me your hard limits.”
“I don’t know.” She answered surprised, she’d always been expected to do whatever Dennis had wanted.
“There must have been things that you hated, you didn’t like.”
She thought about it. Oh yeah there were plenty of things she hated.
“I know it’s hard, but you have to tell me. I would hate to do something to you, then find out later.”
“Anal.”
“You don’t want anal sex? Okay.”
“I…” Tears had a habit of falling around Aiden and this was no exception. “I don’t really know about proper anal sex. Um… he, he used a dildo or… or things, but it would tear me and make me bleed.”
“Oh, Jess.”
Jess was amazed to hear the sadness in his voice. She looked at him and his eyes were filled with unshed tears.
“I’m so sorry. I should never have touched you there without first making sure it wasn’t a hard limit.”
She bit her lip then plunged in.
“It wasn’t as scary as I thought. Maybe it was because it was just your thumb pushing against, you didn’t push it in.” She was blushing with embarrassment as she tried to explain. “I don’t know.”
“Well, let’s consider it a soft-hard limit at the moment. What else?”
“Urina
ting or defecating on me.” To her own ears her voice sounded full of revulsion.
Aiden grunted. “Don’t worry, they’re hard limits for me too.”
“I don’t want to be beaten with a crop or a cane.”
“I’ve never used one and never intend to. A paddle and flogger are all I like.”
“I’m even scared of those.”
“That’s okay, we’ll take it slowly. If you don’t like them, I won’t use them. I told you I have my hands.” He grinned at her. “What else?”
“Blindfold.”
“We threw that away.”
In a tiny voice she said, “Strangling me.”
“Oh my god. Never!”
“Fist inside my anus or my vagina.”
“No.”
She continued on. It was hard, but she did it.
“I don’t like being gagged. He would gag me and then hold my nose. I’d pass out.”
“Off the list.”
“Honestly, you’d take them off the list for me?”
“Actually, they weren’t on it, except for the blindfold and the gag. Anyway, I think we should just go with those for now and if anything comes up, we can talk about it and see how we both feel.”
Jessica was shaking her head in amazement. It was hard to get her mind around the fact that she now had choices.
“I can write up a contact if you’d feel happier.”
“A contract?”
“Yes, defining the limits and assuring you that I’ll respect your decisions. Doms and subs often have contracts between them. It sets out all the limits—hard, soft, necessary, et cetera.”
“Oh. I don’t think we need that.” She looked at Aiden for confirmation. “Do we?”
He laughed. “That’s for you to decide not me.”
She shook her head. “No. No contract.”
“Okay but remember, we have to always talk about the things that upset you or make you feel uncomfortable or threatened. If you change your mind and want a contract, that’s fine by me.”
“All right. What about things you don’t want?”
“Same thing, my Jessie, we talk about everything.”
“Oh.”
“Promise?”
Jess nodded.
“Good.”
“Now get some sleep. It’s late.”
He got out of bed and began to pick up his clothes. Jess asked him what he was doing.
“Getting dressed. I can’t very well go home naked.”
“Oh.” She was disappointed, as she’d thought he would stay the night. She plucked up her courage and looked over at him.
“Stay.”
“Are you sure?”
“Yes.”
“I’d love that.”
He dropped his clothes over the back of one of the couches then went to the bathroom. She admired the way he looked as he walked back and climbed into bed. Jess quickly jumped out of bed and used the bathroom. She realised she had nothing to put on, her nighties were in the drawer in the wardrobe, so she scurried back into bed just as fast as she could. Aiden put an arm across her and then kissed her. What started as a soft good-night kiss exploded into a deep passionate one. They were both breathing heavily when they separated.
“Hell, Jess, if you kiss me like that we’re never going to get any sleep.”
She grinned to herself and snuggled into the side of him. Closing her eyes, she fell asleep.
* * * *
When she woke next morning, the bed alongside her was empty. For a moment she panicked, but then she heard a noise coming from the kitchen. Jess was unsure what to do. Part of her wanted to see what Aiden was doing, while the other part was still hesitant in how to act around him. She was no teenager, and she was usually confident around her lovers, but this was so different. She had found she wanted to please him.
She heard him climbing the stairs.
“Morning, sleepy head.”
“Hello.”
He was dressed in jeans and a T-shirt, and he held out a mug, waiting until she sat up before he passed it over.
“Instant coffee, I’m afraid. Not sure how to use that behemoth in your kitchen. You’ll have to give me instructions.
“Would you like to go for a drive today, blow away the cobwebs?”
Jess didn’t hesitate.
“I would.”
“Great. Drink your coffee and we can plan where to go.”
He went back downstairs and returned with his own mug. He climb up onto the bed alongside her.
“You don’t have work to do?” she asked. “I mean, you’ve been here since Friday evening.”
“No. Have several meetings tomorrow and Tuesday. Wednesday, I have a staff meeting. We try and have those every two weeks. Thursday, I have to check out some work at our testing labs. Not sure about next week. Margaret will have me organised.”
“She scares me.”
Aiden leant over and whispered. “Ssh, don’t tell anyone, but she scares me too.”
They finished their coffee and Aiden took her cup from her.
“Meet you downstairs.”
He left the room and Jessica went into the bathroom to shower and dress. She pulled on a pair of jeans and T-shirt. Rummaging through her shoes, she picked out a pair of sandals, then transferred her wallet and phone into her pocket. She changed her mind and picked up a soft casual leather bag. She went back into the bathroom, plaited her hair into one long braid, then grabbed her brush. Stuffing it into her bag with the phone and wallet, she picked up a pair of sunglasses and went downstairs.
She couldn’t see Aiden, but the big sliding glass door was open so she dropped her bag onto a couch and walked outside. She found him down at the end of the garden.
“Hard to believe this is twenty-five floors up.”
“I know. Still, I’m glad. In all honesty I would prefer to live in a house and have lots of trees around but this at least partly satisfies my desire for trees.”
“Do you like trees?”
“I love them. I’d live in the middle of one if I could.”
“Wait till you see my place. Lots and lots of trees.”
He took her hand and they walked back into the house. Aiden slid the door closed and locked it for her.
“Ready?”
“Yes.”
She grabbed her bag and they walked out, Aiden picking up her keys on the way. He settled her into the Boxster and got behind the wheel.
“There’s a place at the foot of the mountains does the best Eggs Benedict, so I thought we could have breakfast there then decide where to go.”
He drove the Boxster expertly through the early Sunday morning traffic of the city and headed out toward the mountains. Jess closed her eyes and let the wind blow across her face and through her hair. It was going to be a mess but it wouldn’t be too bad in the braid, and anyway she didn’t care. It felt like freedom. It felt like she was blowing away the last of the horrors in her mind, clearing them all away.
Three quarters of an hour later, he pulled into a car park and escorted Jess inside. They had a leisurely breakfast, talking about their food likes and dislikes. When they’d finished, Aiden drove them up over the mountain and out through the countryside. The day was perfect. The weather not too hot or too cold. Jessica was finally beginning to unwind with Aiden.
They stopped for lunch at a tiny pub. Aiden asked Jessica all about her company and how she came to open it. He was intrigued to learn her motivations. He seemed genuinely interested and told her she should be very proud of her achievements.
She asked him about Dowling Industries. Aiden told her he had done well at school so had chosen to study at University. His grandfather had started Dowling Industries and when his father had taken over he moved the company into aviation. With his father’s blessing, he had studied Aeronautical Engineering and actually had his doctorate in it. His thesis had dealt with systems engineering and sustainable aviation.
Jess was very impressed, then thought a little.
/>
“Hang on, you told me my physics books were beyond you. You would have to use physics in your work.”
“Guilty. I didn’t want you to think I was some kind of geek.”
Jess burst out laughing, she rolled her eyes and shook her head at him.
“Tell me the rest.”
He went on to tell her that once he’d achieved his PhD, he’d approached his father, and his grandfather who was still alive at that time, telling them his interests. They had encouraged him, and his grandfather had set up a trust fund that he came into when he was twenty-five. He’d used part of the money to start a subsidiary of the Dowling business. Surprising himself more than anyone else, it had taken off and was now worth more than the original Dowling Industries, turning over millions each year.
He was now worth more than his father and grandfather combined. She asked after them both and was told his grandfather had died just before Aiden turned thirty. His father was still alive at seventy-nine, he’d long retired but kept an active interest in everything Aiden did. His mother was also still alive, she was seventy four. His parents lived close to where Gray had his old house.
“So I guess you’re a plane nut like my father?”
“Not as bad as Gray, although I do own a plane, a Cessna Crusader, and have my license. I also have a Bell 206 Jet ranger 3 helicopter.”
“A helicopter? Oh wow, I’ve never been in one.”
“You haven’t? Well, Ms. Williams, we’ll have to rectify that as soon as we can.”
Jess grinned at him. She felt like a little kid who’d been promised a present if they behaved.
They were sitting in the beer garden to eat and watching a few of the locals play chess. Jess discovered Aiden enjoyed playing and with a devilment that surprised her, she challenged him to a game sometime soon.
He’d given her a look that melted her insides, then remarked, “Only if I get to choose what we play for.”
“So you’re confident you’ll win?”
He cocked his head and looked at her.
“Mm, maybe.”
“So what’s the prize?”
“If I win?”
“Yes.”
“You.”
She flared her nostrils and took a big breath in. That single word had hit her. It filled her head with images—images of her stretched out naked underneath him. Images of her bound, lying at his feet. Images of him using his hand to spank her. She tried to get her breathing under control.
