“For you, my friend.”
He took a few more steps until he was outside of the cabin. Two human bodies had been pulled out of the cabin, followed by a trail of dead skin and blood.
“Mikhail?”
Mikhail stood and turned, eyes wide. “Yes?”
One swing of the bat brought the humanoid down. Hunter dragged him out of the cabin and found a seat at the control panel. He turned the spaceship in the opposite direction of Andro Forty-two.
“Zero Sixx, this is Andro One Twelve. We need another transport. Do you copy?”
Hunter gabbed the receiver. “Zero Sixx here, there will be no more transporting on this ship.”
“What?” Silence. “We found some more aliens on…wait, who is this?”
A blast from Andro Forty-two veered Zero Sixx further to Hunter’s left, spinning the ship, taking him off track toward his planet. The blast took Hunter out of his seat and slammed his head against the ship, knocking him out.
Ruby’s voice filled the cabin. “Zero Sixx sustained damage to the stern. Auto Pilot activated.”

Dedication
To the great Douglas Adams, I write a unique and twisted tale, filled with towels, the number 42 and a different kind of hitch-hiker. Enjoy the ride, my friends!
