Zac sat down beside them and pulled Bella’s legs over his lap. “We will, Mrs. T. She’s ours. And more importantly, she’s agreed to be ours. We’ll take care of her. You have our word.”
“And for whatever reason, she thinks of us as hers,” Hayden agreed, holding her tighter against him.
Chapter Nine
Bella stepped out of the bathroom wrapped in a towel, feeling a lot more rested than she had eight hours ago. She stepped into the bedroom, and smiled when she saw Hayden sitting at the foot of the bed and Zac leaning against the wall by the door.
“Hey, baby,” Hayden said, as he stood up and walked toward her. “How are you feeling?” Hayden wrapped an arm around her shoulders, and she snuggled into the warmth of his chest.
“Actually, pretty good,” she admitted. “I feel like I’ve lived three years in the past forty-eight hours, but other than that, I am all good.”
Zac laughed as he sat down on the bed, leaning back against the headboard. “That is totally understandable.” He shot a quick glance at his brother then sighed. “We should probably tell you how we spent the last few hours while you were asleep.”
Hayden led her over to the bed then tugged her down to sit sideways on his lap facing Zac. “So, you know how I told you that we would arrange for someone to go and get your stuff today?” Bella nodded when Hayden paused waiting for her to respond. “Well, we couldn’t wait. We had a company go to your place and pack up all your stuff this afternoon.”
“What?” Bella sat up in surprise.
Zac placed a hand on her knee as if to calm her. “I know you never actually said yes to the whole moving in with us, but we figured with your door busted in, crime scene tape over the doorway, and potentially debilitating nightmares from this morning’s altercation with Dougal, it would be better to err on the side of caution and just move you in while you were sleeping.”
Bella narrowed her eyes at his innocent expression. “Firstly, the tape could just be removed, fairly easily, I would imagine. Secondly, who is to say I would get nightmares from today? I hate to tell you this, my loves, but I have been in dangerous situations before, and no doubt will again. Occupational hazard, one might say.”
Hayden made a sound that told Bella he was far from impressed by that admission. “Despite having reservations about your career, Zac and I are both extremely supportive of it, I promise you. But I could live a thousand years without hearing about any life threatening situations, if you wouldn’t mind, baby. And it wasn’t you that would be suffering from the nightmares, it was us.”
Bella grinned at the mock shudder that rocked through both men. “Awww, poor babies. Well, I can’t have your lack of sleep and nightmares on my conscience, now can I?”
Hayden’s expression softened. “So, does that mean we get to keep you? Because I have to warn you, if you say yes, then I am fairly certain we won’t be able to let you go. Ever.”
Bella felt a warmth spread within her at the thought of being with these men forever. “Yeah, I think I could manage that.”
Zac whooped with joy as Hayden hugged her tight to his chest. “You won’t regret this, baby. Zac and I will make you so damn happy.”
Bella smiled and leaned in to press her forehead to Hayden’s. “You already do.”
Hayden reached up to cup her cheek with one hand, then tilted her head before claiming her mouth with his own. Bella lost herself in his kiss. His tongue swept into her mouth, and she moaned when he bit down gently on her lip. By the time he let her go, releasing her lip and pulling back, they were both breathless.
“My turn.” Zac spoke from just behind her, and she squeaked when he lifted her up and into his arms. She turned her head and found her mouth immediately taken by his. Hayden smiled, then leaned in to kiss her, a quick, hard kiss that had her reaching for more when he pulled away. Hayden stepped away for a moment, and Zac pulled her over to the bed. He reached in the direction of the bedside table, and she tugged on his arm to stop him.

Zac’s brows shot up, and he stared into her eyes.

Zac’s expression told her what that meant to him. “A stage?”
“Yep, one with a pole in the center,” Zac added. “Lulu may not be performing live for the public for a while, if ever, but she is most definitely going to be required for some private performances.”
