  “What have you done, Moira?”

Myra smiles. “A couple things of interest. I met a man, married him, and now carry his child. I’ve also become the Queen of all Fae.”

Morgan chuckles and says, “Sure you did, my Queen.” She gets a startled look on her face, “Oh shit, that felt right.”

Myra gives her a compassionate look, “Serve me, Sister.”

Morgan immediately genuflects without conscious thought. She looks up at Myra and asks, “How are you doing this? I feel compelled, but you aren’t using powers. Your eyes didn’t shine.”

Myra shrugs the best she can hanging in chains “I’m just appealing to your Fae nature.”

Myra looks at her sister with love, “Morgan you have always been the scary monster of the court, but you are my sister. I have cried for you. I love you. I don’t want you to be ‘my creature.’ I want you to be healthy, be well, and be my loving sister standing beside me to help un-fuck the mess the Sidhe have made of Faerie.”

Morgan drops her head, “I’m so broken, I don’t know if I can find my way there, Moira.”

Myra responds, “I will lead you there if you will follow.”

Morgan looks up and considers Myra for a moment. “I’ll try, Moira. I’ll try.” Morgan gets up and opens the shackles holding her to the tree. She catches Myra as she starts to collapse and helps her get her feet under her.

Myra hugs her filthy sister to her naked body with love. She says, “The people I love call me Myra. I prefer it. Will you try?”

Morgan hugs her back. “Okay, Moir...er...Myra.”

Leaning back while maintaining the hug, Morgan says, “I’d like to get clean. I’ve been wearing this muck for 10 days. Hob made my bed fresh this morning. I am so looking forward to being clean and sleeping in a clean bed. Hopefully your Hob has the presence of mind to bring you a robe to keep the chill off. He may be a bit overwhelmed by me. I don’t think he knows I’ve been recovering.”

Morgan continues, “You’ll have to stay in my suite, and we need to periodically perform the theatre. My Hob will bring meals, or we can whip something up in my kitchen. I can manage scrambled eggs, toast, and bacon, but I don’t have much in the way of kitchen skills. Hob is better, but he usually will go get something from the main kitchen. That will give us the leisure to plan your escape.” She guides Myra to sit on the chaise, throwing a towel on it before Myra can stick her naked bum in the muck on it.

Myra nods and sighs as she sits. “Sounds like a plan. The one sticking point is I don’t want my husband, Jack, to come here. It’s a given that he will show up eventually unless I show up in front of him.” She taps her lips with her right index finger as she ponders the impact of Jack’s arrival.

Morgan asks, “What are you thinking?”

Myra responds slowly, “Maybe rather than escaping, we need to think about upsetting the apple cart. In fact, it might be best if he does show up. We just need to prepare. I need to do a few things before he shows.”

  Morgan asks, “Like what?”

Myra answers, “First, l need to secure my Ravens.”

Morgan says, “Corrina is hanging in the audience chamber. Trevor was whipping her. Mother asked me to open her skin, so she’s bleeding a bit. Her blood is tasty, by the way.”

“How could you, Morgan?” Myra scolds.

Morgan shrugs, “Oh, it’s quite easy if you know how. Since you seem to care about her, you’ll be happy to know that I only broke the skin and didn’t tear any muscle. Four tiny tears only. What did she do to make Mommie-Dearest angry?”

Myra explains, “She bonded with my husband. It broke mother’s hold on her. The Geas remained, but it lost its ability to influence her. I don’t know how that worked. He removed the geas completely over Thanksgiving weekend. All of my Ravens, Megan’s, and Trina have given him a token.”

Morgan nods, “That would do it, but lately it would take a lot less.”

Myra tells her, “Jack healed mother a little before she dragged us all here, but he said it would take longer to completely heal her. I suspect he’s going to need to dominate her and wrap her in love. It could take a while.”

Morgan is shocked, “Do you mean your husband needs to fuck our mother? That’s very progressive, even for you, Myra.”

Myra shakes her head, “I doubt that is required, but naked, wrapped around her in bed is likely. However, if they connect, it could happen.”

Morgan is puzzled. “Doesn’t that bother you?”

Myra considers, “Hmmm. Granted, it would be strange even among the Sidhe, but honestly, no. I don’t think it would. He has 12 lovers at the moment, including Trina, Megan, Christie, all our Ravens, and a dwarf you don’t know named Kristina. He proposed to her right before mom showed up. She’ll be his second wife, and I suspect she is going to be a better wife to him than I am. She’s kind, generous, and a very giving lover.”

Morgan chuckles, “You say that like you fucked her, too.”

Myra looks at her for a moment and says, “I have made love to her. I made a point to ensure that I made love to all of his lovers when we were together over the holiday. If Christie had been there, I would have made love to her, too. At the time, I didn’t know she was in the picture. One thing that I’ve learned from my husband is that we Sidhe are not nearly as loving to each other as we should be. The humans have the same problem, but that doesn’t excuse us.”

Morgan frowns, “You made love to our sister?”

Myra smiles gently, “Yes. I don’t expect it to be a frequent thing, but yes, I made love to Megan. You are acting more in control of yourself, but you still obsess about who gets between my legs. You almost sound jealous, Morganna.”

Morgan smacks her shoulder gently. “Morgan. Just like Myra. Okay?”

Myra smiles hugely and kisses Morgan tenderly on her lips. “Of course, dear sister.”

Morgan says, “I like the sound of that. ‘Dear sister.’ Say it again, Sissi.”

Myra smiles, “Morgan, you are my dear sister, and I love you.”

Sitting back and caressing Morgan’s arm, Myra says, “Morgan, I want you to meet my husband, Jack. I want him to heal you. He can make you whole.”

Morgan ponders that for a moment. She says, “I will have to reinvent myself. I won’t be able to keep doing this if I am sane.”

“Would that be so bad?” Myra asks. “You seem to be doing an admirable job of reinventing yourself within the walls of your suite.”

Looking into the distance, Morgan says, “No, I suppose not. It’s just that I’ve been moving at my own pace. I suspect this will be more like pulling the band-aid off.”

Suddenly, there is a pounding at the door.

Morgan whispers, “Lie on the floor.” She yells, “Whaddya want? I am BUSY!”

as she pulls a Spatha from its sheath hanging next to the door.

A voice on the other side responds, “Morgan, it’s Esmerelda. I think you might want what I found sulking about.”

Morgan lets out a heavy sigh as she unlocks door. She opens it and stands back.

In the doorway a 6’ tall human-bat hybrid stands holding a Hobgoblin in each hand by the back of the neck. Myra’s has a small valise, Morgan’s has a pillow clutched to it’s tiny body.

Myra waves her in, “Come in, Esmi.”

After the night hag enters, Morgan closes and locks the door. She sheaths the the Spatha and says, “I sent them.” Esmerelda releases them.

Esmi nods, “I thought maybe that was the deal. They’re usually so sneaky, but it’s hard to hide a pillow and a bag. Some people noticed. So, I snagged them.”

  Morgan’s eyes narrow. “Who?”

The night hag responds, “Claudette and Selene.”

Morgan sighs, “Great. Not the best pair, but not the worst. Good initiative on your part. Might I go so far as to thank you?”

Esmi chuckles, “I would be honored, Princess.”

Morgan kisses her bat-like mouth tenderly. “I need you to
keep some more of my secrets, Esmi.”

Esmerelda agrees immediately, “Of course, Morgan. Whatever it is, I will keep it.”

Morgan says, “Thank you, sweetie. Okay Myra, you can get up.”

Myra stirs with a groan as she gets to her feet. “Great. The floor warmed for me, but it is still hard, especially after hanging on your tree for an hour.”

Morgan says, “Esmi, you can change if you like. Only us girls and our loyal friends, the Hobs, are here.”

Esmerelda gives a frightening smile and then shimmers until a dark-grey skinned Sidhe stands in her place.

Looking at Myra, Morgan says, “We need to do some more theater, and then I think a shower, meal and bed.” She turns to Esmi, “You up for staying the night?

Esmi wraps her in an embrace, “I would be delighted, Morgan.” The kiss that follows demonstrates more than a platonic level of passion.

Myra smiles. Morgan and Esmi return it shyly. Morgan says, “Esmi’s affection has been critical to my recovery.”

Myra says, “I’m very happy for you both. How did you start your relationship?” she asks as she wraps them both into a hug.

Esmi says, “About five years ago, I found her curled in a ball crying in a dark corridor.”

Morgan adds, “I had been becoming more and more aware of what a monster I had turned into, and I broke down after passing two children who cringed at the site of me. I ran through the hallways, and people were dodging or running to get out of my way until I found myself in a dead-end corridor. I curled up in a ball and lost myself to crying. Esmi found me. She wrapped her wings around me and nuzzled my hair, and told me that it would eventually be alright.”

They smile lovingly at each other. Morgan continues, “Since then, we’ve spent many hours holding and comforting each other.”

Morgan looks at Myra, “Okay Sissi, more theater. Sit at the base of the tree. Your voice needs to come from the correct direction. Here’s the recording of what I need you to do. Accuracy is important, dear sister.” Morgan plays the recording again for Myra. Myra nods that she’s ready.

  Crack-scream

Morgan screams, “Oh yes, sister! No one will ever call you pretty again!”

  Crack-scream

  “Oops! There went one boob!”

  Crack-scream

“Ah, there we go...no breast cancer worries for you, little sister. Oh, don’t tell me you passed out again!”

Morgan whispers, “A little groan this time.” Myra nods.

  Crack - moan.

Morgan yells, “Yeah, let’s see if you can walk on that, Sister.”

Holding her finger to her lips for silence, Morgan cracks the whip one final time. She yells with disgust, “Shit! Really? You’re going to sleep through that? FUUUUUUCK!” She pauses for dramatic effect and then says clearly to carry through the door, “Fine. I’m working on your back when you come around.”

Morgan says quietly, “Okay, let’s shower, ladies.” She leads them to the back of her suite.

Myra hooks Esmi’s arm. Esmi says, “Something's different about you, Myra.”

Myra smiles hugely and points to the bite mark beside her neck. “I’m married,” she says.

Esmi responds, “Oh my. Your mother is not going to like that.”

  Myra laughs, “Right?”

Chapter 14 - Gathering Lost Birds

  (Jack’s Condo - Phoenix)

We all get inside and bolt the door. Weapons and cases go on the table. Kristina wraps me into a hug and pulls me down for a demanding kiss. She is wearing a short silk robe that matches the stockings and corset she is still wearing. For a moment, I think I need to reimburse her for all this as a manager at a wine bar can’t possibly afford all this, but then I remember as the VP of my farms & wineries division, she has enough to do this if she wants. Acorn and Marigold show up about that time. I set out a little cup of water for each of them and then go pull another case out from under the bed. I take it to the dining table. Opening it, I hand three battery chargers and a power strip to Solange and Kristina. “Please plug these in. The outlet on the end of the island should be good.”

I grab a tiny device, put a battery in and grab a camera. “Acorn, when you’re ready, I have a special task for you.” He buzzes to the table and lands next to the case. He’s about as tall as a standard GI-Joe, but with dragonfly wings that are able to carry him in rapid, agile flight. He asked me not to compare him to a Barbie doll. I’ve been working on it. GI-Joe is apparently okay. He likes the movies.

I lift the device in my hand. “This is a motion detector module. I can use a drone to keep it in place, but this will be smaller. You’ve seen the cameras I have in place. The motion sensor plugs into the them like this.” I demonstrate. Then I take them apart and set the motion detector on the table and hold the camera. “You try it.”

Acorn pics the module up, turns it around to ensure everything is lined up, then connects them properly. Then he looks at me. I smile at him. “Great job. Can you go install this on the camera at the end of the hall?”

“Sure Jack! Hey Merry, stay here. I’ll be back shortly.”

Marigold’s little voice squeaks back, “Okay, Corny”

Acorn fires back, “Don’t call me that!”

“But you call me Merry,” she responds.

“You like to be called Merry. I don’t like being called Corny,” he huffs.

  “Fine,” she pouts.

Marisol walks over to Marigold, “I go by Mari, too. We are a very exclusive club.”

Marigold smiles and launches up to kiss Marisol’s cheek. “I knew I liked you,” she answers.

I look up and notice that Marisol is only wearing her stockings and a garter. I survey the room to discover that Charli and Solange are in similar attire as they both hug on Krissie, who has dropped her robe to give them more skin. Christie is nude, looking at me with hunger in her eyes. I stand up and walk over to wrap her in a hug. She raises her lips to mine. “I was so worried about you, Jack.”

I shake my head, “I was more worried about the Ravens and Marigold. Myra, Megan, Trina, Corrina, Daphne, Geri, Liesl, and Sowie are all still out there. Peg is in hiding.”

The Top Secret Ninja Phone, as Trina likes to call it, TSN or TS Phone as I like to call it, rings. I look, and it’s Peg.

“Hello Peg, are you safe?” I ask.

“For the moment, my Lord. Trina and Daphne were in Sedona. Apparently they can’t be found on site, so our local sovereign is about to scry for them. Are they there with you?”

“No. Daphne texted from Trina’s phone and said they couldn’t talk. I’m waiting on a text. If they are on my land, will that hide them?”

Peg answers, “No, but it will make them work for it more than if they are on the property of the court. I was just thinking more fighters to defend against whomever or whatever they send.”

“How about if she does that cone of silence with shadows?” I ask.

“There is elf-tech for that specifically, but I don’t know what the Shadow Veil will do,” she says. My TSN phone pings for a text.

“Okay, I just got a text on this phone. That is probably our girl. I’ll get back to you shortly. Bye, Peg.”

I disconnect and check the text. “I need to hear your voice. - T”

  I call and hear, “Jack!”

“Hello my Pet. Where are you?” I ask.

“Just left Sedona heading south. We should be passing your property shortly,” she mutters.

“Your absence has been noted. I understand A is about to try to scry for you. Can your Shadow Veil hide from that?”

“Not on it’s own. There was something from training that might help though. Hold on for a second, Master. Hey Dee, watch for Page Springs Road turn-off on the left. Take it when we get there. Okay, I’m back, Jack. Daphne and I are both bound to you. We couldn’t hide YOU since we’re not married - the bond only goes one way. But with us being bound to you, you can maybe confuse our trail. You need to conce
ntrate on our bond to you and use your will to bring us closer. Spiritually we will be co-located with you despite being separated physically. It messes with the scrying magic. We’re going to pull onto your land. It won’t help hide us, but it will make it easier to power the bond. Does that make sense?”

“Actually, in a strange way, it kind of does. Okay. Does it help to have more bonded with me?”

“I’ve never heard of it Jack, but maybe. Be careful though. If they happen to scry everyone that was at the party, you could confuse signals for the ladies in Springfield. We would lose all our Ravens, Megan, and Myra. It’s not likely they’ll do that, but it would reveal they are yours. Here, Dee. Turn left here!”

“Got it. How about having Christie involved. Any issues?”

“No, there shouldn’t be, Jack. As far as the magic is concerned she’s just a bond. If we were bonded with her, then she could use illusion to hide us.” Christie nods, and then puts on a cute face of concentration.

“Alright, I’m going to go get into a meditation state and start pulling you to me. Get parked. I’ll pull you both.”

Trina adds, “Cholley is with us too, Jack. I don’t know if there’s anything we can do about him.”

“Maybe sit him between the two of you. They may not know he is missing yet,” I surmise. “It may be enough.”

  “Okay, Jack.”

“Pet, are you okay? I felt something from you a while back - like a wave of despair. You sound like you’re having difficulty talking.”

“I was in a bad place, Jack. Cholley and Daphne got me free, then I dispensed my own form of justice. I’ll tell you about it while you wrap your arms around me and heal me. I love you, Jack. Daphne sends her love, too. We are both going to need some quality time from you soon. Now go get ready, Master.”

“I love you too, Trina. I can’t wait to hold you in my arms.” Then I disconnect.

“Okay ladies, I need to do some serious Green Lord magic. As usual, it’s something I’ve never done before, but it is ‘the needful’ at the moment. I need you all to pour your love into me just like you always do, but with intent. All of you that are bound to me need to touch me. In the bedroom.” I kiss Christie again.
