Marry Me, Right Now : (Marriage of Convenience Romance, Toronto) Page 27

by Haley Travis

Cupping my face gently in his hand, his eyes burned into mine. “If it would make you happy I’ll never speak to any of them again. Mia, I love you. I need you. Nothing else matters.”

I couldn’t believe he had just said that. We had been ignoring the obvious for so long, trying to focus on our arrangement, and now every last wall had fallen. I froze, completely shocked. My lungs locked.

His arms shook me slightly. “Please, baby, say something. Anything.”

“I love you, Jacob,” I choked. It felt like there was no air left in my body, but I finally managed to speak the words I’d been holding back for ages. His thumb stroked my cheek, wiping away my tears. He was so tender that I almost began crying again.

“I love you, Mia.” He curled down to kiss me, soft as a breeze, while we finally both calmed down. Pulling my arms out of the blanket, I wrapped them around his shoulders, snuggling against his chest. “You feel so good there,” he murmured.

“Fine, I’ll just stay here being snuggly,” I joked. “Jacob, I... Thank you.”

  “For what, baby?”

“For seeing me for me the way nobody else ever has. For smashing down my shields and walls. For being a real partner.” I kissed his cheek, then just snuggled him, trying to slow my choppy breathing.

“It’s done now,” he sighed. “George will spread the word, probably minus the embarrassing part, and we can relax. The show is over.”

“Um–” I thought I stopped just in time, but he heard it.

He held me tighter. “Mia, we’re a team. We’re magical together. Please – be my wife, my partner, for real.”

I nodded, shaking, too emotional to speak.

“Say it.” He pulled me up to hold my face in his hands as if he were trying to burrow into my mind with those stormy eyes. “Please, Mia. Say it.”

“So, we’ll actually be together? Married for real, just like that?” I blurted. Oh god, I thought, please don’t let him hear my heart pounding.

He took my hand, smiling as he kissed each fingertip. “Would that make you happy?”

“Yes,” I breathed, without even thinking. The answer was already there. But I just couldn’t believe it. “You’re sure you want to be married to me?” I blurted.

“Yes. You have no idea how much, Mia,” he said as his lips met mine.

Our kiss grew deeper, as the blanket fell away and we pressed against each other. Then Jacob suddenly stopped. “If you’re not in the mood anymore, I totally understand.” He placed his hand over my heart. “I’m so sorry, baby – that must have scared you to pieces.”

“My heart is racing for another reason,” I murmured.

He looked a bit relieved, which aroused me even more. Since he seemed to like it when I took charge, I pulled him on top of me, as he kissed along my throat, making me twitch with anticipation.

His hand circled my outer breast, tracing along the curve as his other hand slid down my stomach to nestle between my legs again. His thick finger eased inside of me, then begin stroking in and out as my juices began flowing again almost immediately. His lips fastened around my nipple, swirling his tongue over my delicate skin.

Running my hands down his chest, his chiseled abs, I reached his huge girth, wrapping my fingers around him and stroking slowly.

“I love the way you touch me,” he muttered, switching to the other side, kissing and licking my breast while I tried not to whimper.

Feeling him throbbing under my fingers, knowing that we would probably be doing this every day for the foreseeable future, had me shuddering with desire. His fingers were stroking deeper and faster, as my hips began to quiver.

He shifted his hips, freeing himself from my grasp and spreading my legs wide. The hot, bulbous head of his huge shaft sunk between my pussy lips while we both moaned. As he gently slid inside, stretching me open, I thought I might scream. It was so overwhelming, too perfect for my brain to process. My choked little cry seemed to arouse him even more.

“Yes, baby,” he murmured, rocking gently as his huge cock slowly drove into me. I gasped as he pushed deeper, feeling my body open for him.

“Mmm yes… Jacob, I love the way you fuck me,” I whispered. His long, smooth thrusts were filling me perfectly, touching every nerve inside me as I quivered beneath him.

He pulled out, giving me a saucy grin. “Your language, Mrs. Stoneburrowes. Positively atrocious.”

“You’ll have to teach me a lesson,” I whined.

With one powerful stroke, he buried his luscious cock in me to the hilt. I gasped, then rocked with him as we found a hard, fast rhythm that drove us both crazy. Our mouths sucked each other in, our tongues swirling together as we both moaned.

Reaching between us, he spread my outer lips open, then gripped my ass tightly, grinding into my clit with every motion. “Is that the spot, baby?”

“Fuck, yes,” I moaned, kissing him savagely. I felt flushed from head to toe, my pulse skyrocketing.

“Your dirty mouth is so fucking hot,” he growled. “You feel so perfect,” he murmured. “I think tomorrow I’m going to eat you for breakfast.”

I nodded, kissing him hard as I shivered in ecstasy. The tremors were gathering through my hips and thighs. Hearing Jacob’s breath catch, his hands tightening on my ass, made me quake with excitement.

His deep, quick strokes made me feel so amazingly full. Possessed. As if I belonged to him on some primal level. But we belonged to each other, and now that I knew that, I felt more open and sexy than I ever had in my life.

Wrapping my legs around his hips, I pulled him deeper. “Is this what you like? Taking your wife so hard, so deep…”

“Yes, baby,” he purred into my ear. The muscles of his arms and shoulders were rippling as he tensed, holding me tightly against him as he slid in and out even faster. It felt like he was swelling inside me, as my twitching pussy began to clench him firmly.

“I love it when you tighten up like that,” he murmured. “My sexy perfect angel.”

“Yes, yours,” I breathed, and the satisfied look he gave me knocked me straight over the edge. Pleasure and electricity exploded through every part of me as I fell to pieces. I came so hard I screamed, my head falling back and Jacob’s lips wandering up my throat.

My vision was blurred, but I gripped the back of his hair roughly. “I need to feel you come inside me,” I muttered, gripping him so tightly I hoped I wasn’t hurting him but couldn’t let go. He drove his cock deeper, deeper, then I felt his thick cum pumping inside, filling me more than I ever thought possible. I cried out, wriggling as my muscles and nerves overloaded.

“My Mia,” he growled, kissing me hard while he slowed his thrusts gradually, still hitting every twitching nerve deep within.

Clutching him against me, we rocked together, then gradually stopped. He looked at me with such raw adoration it sent chills through me. He brought his hands to my face, gliding his thumb along my bottom lip. “I love you, Mia,” he murmured, kissing me softly before I could respond. He finally pulled back, smiling sweetly.

“I love you, Jacob.” Then I giggled. “My husband.”

He chuckled as he got up, sitting with his back against the headboard and pulling me against him. We fit together so perfectly in every possible way that it was magical.

“Marry me again,” Jacob whispered into my ear.

“We’re already married,” I giggled, stretching out in his arms.

“But that was fake. Now let’s do a fake one, but have it be real.”

“Okay, but this time no budget. Nothing fancy.”

“Alright, but we’ll need clothes and shoes.”

I followed his lead, dressing quickly as he led us out the door to the elevator, where he swiped his card and entered a passcode.

I hadn’t been up on the roof yet, and the last pink and purple streaks of sunset were fading to the west as the lights of Toronto sparkled all around us. Jacob led me to the center of a little green space.

  Taking my hands
in his, he kissed my palms, then held them between us as we faced the colors fading over the skyscrapers. The CN Tower was lit up in orange this evening, glowing gently.

He chuckled. “Turns out we did have orange at our wedding.” I giggled, looking up at him as he suddenly grew serious.

“Mia, we’re a good team. We started with a crossword puzzle and some problems to solve, and I don’t think we’ll ever stop working wonderfully together. I choose you over my family, my friends, anyone else. I choose you as my partner in life, and my beautiful beloved wife. I adore you, I treasure you, and I love you.”

Shutting my eyes for a moment, I had to swallow hard to clear my throat. Looking up into those stormy blue irises, I said, “Jacob, I’ve never let anyone take care of me before. Ever. I was a bit shocked at the beginning. But that was just until we found our balance. Now we take care of each other. I want to be by your side through this strange life adventure. I choose you over my weird opinions about money. I choose you over my friends, even though they adore you. I choose you as my friend, my lover, my partner, my handsome husband. I love you.”

As our lips met, the lights of the CN Tower turned from orange to the exact marine blue of our wedding color. When we finally parted, Jacob asked quietly, “Did you see that?”

“We don’t believe in signs, or superstitious mumbo-jumbo. Except that was totally a sign.”

“Yes, it was,” he said. He kissed me again, as every light in the city shone around us.
