by Young

“Young lady, you must understand that the majority of cultures, organized religions, gurus, and holy men are inimical to sex. Sex is projected as sinful. Yet, the evolution of love is nothing but transformed sexual energy.

“As coal becomes diamond with the passage of time, if lust is transformed into sex, it will mutate to become love. When religions proclaim that sex is profane and has to be controlled by one’s effort, this suppression will eventually explode into an obsession, thereby causing perverted neuroticism that can manifest as anger, aggression, crime – the list goes on. This potent energy has taken on an alternate manifestation due to centuries of sexual suppressions,” our teacher expounded.

“That said, in moments of copulation, we humans can experience meditative ‘Samadhi’. It’s during intensive coition that we experience nirvanic blissfulness. For those who meditate and reflect on this sexual truth, they realize that during climax, the mind is void of thoughts. Emptiness fills the mind, thus allowing divine bliss to encircle the person. This is the beatified secret that turns sex into love.”

Victor gave me a wicked wink before darting an affectionate gaze at Leon. Triqueros’ subtle gesture nabbed my intuition that there was more to their student-teacher relationship. My sixth sense told me that the professor was using my rapturous surrender with Ivan and that morning’s lesson as a veiled diversion to disguise his and Leon’s supernal consummation. Although I had brushed this serendipitous intuition aside, my curiosity soon led me to discover the truth behind their intimacy.

Victor resumed, “Sages had long uncovered the mind’s secret. If thoughts can be freed during intercourse, ‘Samadhi’ can also be attained through yogic meditation and prayers. Through meditation, a devotee can remain in continuous bliss.”

Out of the blue I questioned, “What is in human beings life’s core? Is it God, or the soul?”

The professor thought for a second before he replied, “Young, perhaps you should rephrase the question as: ‘What will we find at the core of everything?’”

He continued, “When we look closely at nature, we find there is only one ongoing process: continuous creation, procreation, and resurrection of life in newer and more advanced forms.

“Plants nurture seeds. The seeds grow into new plants, new flowers and fruits. Life itself is a never-ending process of creation and procreation.

“The same concept applies to humans. We label it ‘sex.’ This labeling has given rise to condemnatory feelings in humans. Nevertheless, the consistent effort to procreate continues. This we call ‘sex energy.’”

Leon asked, “What is sex energy?”

“I’ll get to that, boy,” Victor answered smilingly. “Millions of years ago, there were only rocks, mountains, rivers, and oceans on planet earth. These organisms strove to produce better life forms. Over time, these life-energies manifested into plants. Yet, these verdures were not content; they wanted more advanced company. Thus, creatures great and small came into being. But earthlings were nowhere to be found. Nevertheless, inherent in these other forms of life, human beings came into existence in due course.

“These earthlings, like their predecessors, were eager to create new life. We humans named this tendency ‘sexual passion’ or ‘lust.’ However, humans, too, desire progress. They do not want to end as themselves.”

  “Why?” I chimed.

The class laughed at my idiotic question.

“Because of the inherent life force, the drive to produce better beings. The human soul is constantly striving for a better self, a more superior life form. However, how will a better human being take shape?”

Triqueros paused to see if anyone had the answer. None came, so he declared, “Instead of respecting the sexual act, religions gave it negative and suppressive connotations. In truth, there is nothing more important in the history of humankind than the sexual urge. Without understanding the consequences, organized religions and their disciples turned on this divine life force. In their suppression, humans became so obsessed with sex that it led to acts of violence, such as rape and other forms of perversion. Most mental dis-ease stems from sexual repression.

“Despite passive attitudes toward sex, earthlings are not able to ignore sex. On the contrary, religious scholars and clerics use the Bhagavad Gita, the Bible, the Quran, the Torah, etc. to camouflage pornographic elements within their holy books. Though they speak of ‘God’ and ‘Divinity,’ at their core, these texts are filled by sexual inclinations.”

Lilee queried impulsively, “What’s their attraction? What is this mighty pull?”

“You see, Lilee, although sex is within the core of humankind, many feel remorseful after the act because they want to be free of it – because they found nothing substantial after their brief encounter with bliss.

“The missing attraction is that humans are unable to reach the depths of their being through regular experiences, except during coitus. There are two vital things that happen during intercourse:

  ● First and foremost, in the moment of orgasm, the ego vanishes. For a moment, there is no trace of the ‘me’ or the ‘I.’

  ● The second phenomenon is that for a brief period, Timelessness emerges: there is no past, no future, only the present. Therefore, the unconscious urge to experience this mystic domain of egolessness and timelessness is present.

Behind this craving is our soul’s searching attempt to relive the seat of spiritual realization, the mystical ‘sex energy.’”

I remarked, “How can I transform the ‘sex energy’ into spiritual energy to reach ‘Samadhi’?”

“Young, the ‘sex energy’ is the verve within every living person. The higher the vibrational frequency, the lesser the sexuality. When the reverberation level peaks, this energy is transformed into love and compassion. This ultimate flowering is known as ‘divine energy,’ but it originates from sex.

“The sex energy, or, for that matter all energies, can transmute, but it cannot be created or extinguished. Creation and destruction are currently beyond human mastery.

“For centuries, orthodox religions had aimed at freeing mankind from sex via suppression. But the further the suppression, the more sexual the person becomes before that pent-up energy moves deeper into his/her unconscious, and they blame the devil for corrupting the person’s mind.

“In reality, when sex is suppressed, the one imposing the suppression is the devil. Sex requires transformation, not repression or indulgence. This blessed force is nothing short of what could be termed as Jesus’ divine love or Buddha’s compassionate providence.

“My advice to the three of you is: be alert, conscious, and mindful. Allow sex be a conscious force. Oftentimes, sexual encounters are meditative experiences. Through awareness and alertness during intercourse, one can achieve the deepest of human insights. It is in this thoughtless state of mind that rapturous ecstasy comes into form.

“By being in the present, without preoccupations of the past and future, you can make sex disappear, and blissfulness fill the void. Accepting sex as natural and sacred will assist the sex-to-love conversion.

“The stronger a person’s feeling of the ‘me,’ the ego, the lesser his/her capacity to unite with another person. This self-proclaimed facade separates the ‘you’ from the ‘me,’ distancing both entities. This gap between the ‘me’ and the ‘you’ is what causes intimate relationships to fail. As long as there is a separation between the ‘me’ and the ‘you,’ it is impossible for sex to mutate into love. For the oneness of love to manifest, this self-faced wall has to collapse for the ego to dissolve.”

Before the Señor broke up the class, he finalized, “Hopefully, Count Mario’s Kāmasūtra – Lovers’ Tale will elevate the public’s awareness of the truth about the mysteries of sex and love.”

  Andy’s Email to Me

  Young,

I’ve heard of the Bangkok Boy-Bar shows from friends who have been. I’ve been told they are rather impersonal and contrived. Nonetheless, I’m sure it’s an experience. I can’t wait to read the rest of your escapade with Max.

  Love,

  Andy

  Hugs!

  The Last Act

My time at the Assalamu Alaikum household was drawing to a close. Although I would be seeing the abstemious Señor Triqueros after my summer vacation, this man had been an unsurpassable mentor.

As per regular procedures for returning E.R.O.S. recruits to their respective educational institutions, Andy and I checked in at the Bahriji for three days to fullfil our obligatory requisite and medical clearance before leaving for our summer vacation.

I did not return to Kuala Lumpur that year but spent the early half of my holidays with Andy, touring the scenic Lake District in the County of Cumbria, England, before heading to Acapulco for the 1968 Summer Olympics Yachting Race with Dr Fahrib and his competitive team.

Although Tad was despondent without me at his beck and call, his newfound friendship with the Count was more than adequate for keeping him occupied. After all, my next household assignment was at وكر الذئب Aldhdhib Dann (Wolf Den), Tad Abdul Hafiz’s stately mansion in Riyadh, the capital city within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Besides, we had agreed to a holiday cruise to Morocco around the Atlantic and the Mediterranean, ending at Marrakesh with a visit to our model friend, Driss.

I had a chance to enjoy my teacher’s company within the tranquil gardens of our Madras residence while Mario and the Arabs were conducting daily meetings with the Indian movie moguls.

  From Lovers to Soul Mates

We sat enjoying a cup of tea on the verandah after our morning tutorial when my teacher enquired, “Why are you looking forlorn, boy?”

“I’ll miss your presence, and your guidance,” I replied glumly.

“We’ll only be away for a few weeks and will be seeing each other soon. You are such a sentimental kitten,” the Señor razzed. “Besides, your soul mate Andy will be with you. He is a superb Valet, lover, mentor and more. You guys will experience Tantra for a lifetime.”

I gave my professor a puzzled look. Reading my mind, he laughed. “A science had been developed: if you cannot find a soul mate, you can create one,” he said humorously.

“What is the science? I can do with a soul mate,” Aaron declared.

Triqueros, finding his enthusiasm amusing, answered, “That science is Tantra, Aaron.”

“I didn’t know Tantra was a science. My E.R.O.S. professors never mentioned anything along those lines,” the big brother expressed.

“You see, Aaron, to find a soul mate is to locate the person with whom all your seven chakras unite as nature intends. It seldom occurs, but when it does, it is an extremely beautiful relationship.

“But, like any natural phenomenon, it is not dependable. Waiting for your natural soul mate to manifest is like waiting for lightning to happen. When it does, it’s for a split second, and it’s gone.

“The scientific alchemy of Tantra is, it can transform your and your lover’s centers into a harmonious rhythmic union. Once you understand this alchemy, you can switch it on and off and have a thousand and one uses for it. The seven chakras within you are nothing more than body electricity.”

Andy queried, “How does one harness this electric energy?”

Victor resumed, “In your body, there exist subtle electric currents that are not visible to the naked eye. The subtler the current, the deeper it penetrates. Scientists have proven that when all your body electricity is channeled together, it can light a five-candle bulb. Quantitatively, this isn’t much, but like a splitting atom, it eliminates a tremendous amount of energy.

“You see, Andy, the seven centers create five specific knots in your body’s electric current. They can be changed and be rearranged into different shapes or forms. When the lovers’ seven chakras unite into one, they can be profoundly transformed. Therefore, Tantra is a science of transforming ordinary lovers into soul mates. This is the grandeur of Tantra.”

“Do I have to imbibe Tantra to be a good lover?” Leon asked inquisitively.

As if passing a concealed message for the boy’s ears, Victor replied ardently, “Lose control of yourself, Leon. Let loose your natural instinct when making love. In the beginning, you may feel frightened to be out of control; your thoughts will kick in to administer jurisdiction because your mind is afraid of losing itself to this uncharted territory.

“You must free yourself from copulation techniques you’ve been ingrained. By liberating yourself from these technical constraints, you’ll come to experience timelessness. It is within this timelessness that you’ll experience Oneness - a lucid passive consciousness and awareness that defies time and space. A divine eternity that exists as ‘One’ between the lovers.

“Young man, Tantra is not a learned technique but a surrendering of the self that allows godliness to embrace you in its entirety. You understand?”

My intuition had served me well. I had been positive that Victor and Leon were now an item. I now knew that the professor had taken Leon under his wing to educate his protégé in the ways of the world.

  Tantric Sex

Although I had been taught the philosophy of Tantric Sex in the Bahriji and had conducted practicals with my ex-big-brother Nikee and Valet Andy, I still considered myself a novice in this complex field of human interaction.

I was glad when Aaron asked, “Señor, can you provide us with further insights into Tantric Sex?”

The teacher replied, “Surely. Tantra is the natural way to access God, or what we term as the God-self. The focus is to be wholly instinctual and self-regulated so that we can merge with the ultimate source or higher power.

“My definition of tantric sexuality, Aaron, is a return to absolute innocence and oneness with the truth. The greatest sexual buzz is not in scampering and scurrying, but silence. When your mind and body are void of content and you relax into stillness, you’ll discover a sublime benediction through the consciousness of being conscious.”

The big brother continued to question. “I’ve heard of tantric sects that teach techniques of channeling tantric sex. What are your thoughts, professor?”

“Aaron, a person who is too technique-oriented will miss the mystery of Tantra. Pseudo-Tantra is based on techniques because the ego is in control. Tantra is a non-doing, a wú wèi.

“Lao Tzu explains in the Tao Te Ching: beings (or phenomena) that are wholly in harmony with the Tao behave in a natural and uncontrived way. The goal of spiritual practice is the attainment of this natural way of behaving, like the planets revolving around the sun. The planets revolve effortlessly without any form of control; neither do they attempt to revolve themselves. Rather, they engage in spontaneous and effortless movement. This is the true beauty of Tao and Tantra.

“It is true that you can learn slow and unhurried breathing techniques to control and prolong the coition period. But it is not innocent or bridled, nor is it meditation, because the mind is in control of your ejaculations. For spontaneous ejaculations to happen, the breathing has to be in pandemonium.

“Tantric sex is a sexual prayer. It cannot be achieved through techniques. It is a heart relaxation, a mental, emotional and spiritual bond between the partners that activate the Tantric electric energy. Voila, before you know it, you’ll have achieved your sublime tantric sexual experience when you release and let go of your anxieties, expectations and ‘techniques’,” the Señor clarified before glancing at me and Andy as if we were perfect specimens.

He resumed, “Tantra is one of the greatest apparitions: a religion without priests, places of worship, or organizations to belong to. It is a creed that doesn’t destroy an individual but respects men’s and women’s individuality. Tantra gives credence to the body, while orthodox religions discre
dit it, thereby separating the body and the person within and destroying the body’s wisdom. In short, Tantra doesn’t deny, but transforms.

“The body is a sacred ground. Antagonizing the body annihilates the living being in it, propelling the individual’s sacred ground of truth into schizophrenia. It is a transgression against God when the body is violated. The body is a bridge between the divine and the being. Tantra pays reverence to the beatified temple of the individual, the body.”

Andy chimed expressively after listening attentively to the Señor’s elucidations: “First and foremost is the purification of the body of repressions. This will clear the path for the body’s electricity to flow unhindered. Loosening the body’s tensions allows alertness and aliveness.

“Tantra is an existential reality not a philosophy. When I say existential, I’m not referring to the existentialism of Sartre, Camus, Marcel, and the other learned philosophers. In contrast to these theories, which are built upon negativities, Tantra is a rapturous blissful external and internal ecstatic orgasm that lasts an eternity.”

We stared at my chaperone as if he had just delivered a seraphic message from the creator.

“This man has proven me correct,” our professor expressed. “He and his beloved have attained the ultimate Tantra experience, if he is able to speak with such firsthand experience. Do enlighten us further, Andy?”

My Valet vociferated after a moment’s thought. “In my understanding, philosophy has proven to be the most futile of efforts without solid delivery. It is filled with promises with no commitments. A dream without reality.

“When submerging within the tantric realm, adventure and truthful courage are needed. I can be lost, never to riposte, or I can return a changed man. Yet, Young and I venture into these uncharted territories with open hearts, minds and spirits, allowing our lovemaking to flow with delirious ecstasy.”

I was shocked by my lover’s proclamation. Up till then, I hadn’t realized that we had this electric connection. Although we had merged into our relationship with ease and grace, never had it entered my mind that we had unconsciously achieved Tantric experiences for which many yearn but seldom attain.
