“I love you more,” he replied.
“I love you more infinity,” she added with a naughty little laugh.
“I love you…”
“Maybe we should put a pin in this – we do have our own surprise party to get to,” said Tempest through hiccups of laughter.
“Yes, we’ll circle back to it later.”
“We most certainly will,” she agreed.
He looked down at his mate and opened his mouth. Tempest quickly put a finger to his lips.
“Later.”
Harlan grinned. Sure. Later. They had all the time in the world to argue who loved who more later.
