Jaded: The First Cut is the Deepest Page 11

by Shawn C. Thompson

Delano had the kind of love that could turn any woman against their better judgement.

“Is this what you want?” He questioned, moving his hand from my face to guide my own to his growing bulge.

My knees buckled as he continued to play in my pussy.

“Um Hm.” I muttered, backing up against the couch.

I undid his pants, making sure not to lose focus on the natural rhythm of our tongues. As the heat grew more intense, I felt his dick press gently against my stomach.

My heart pounded at the thought of a sexual reunion.

Without warning, he shoved me onto the couch. Pillows scattered themselves across the room.

“Shhh.” Delano hushed, before my mouth could speak. “Lets try something a little different.”

With my legs dangling over one side of the arm rest, he hiked my dress up and ravenously dug his face into my pleasure center.

My eyes rolled to the back of my head while he played with my labia.

I used my knees to lock him in place as he continued to feast on me like he hadn’t eaten almost an hour earlier.

“Dammit.” I called out, using my nails to grasp onto the couch.

This only made him become more rough.

  Hungrier.

I removed my clothes and he did the same. When he tried to return his mouth to its rightful place, I stopped him.

“I want to feel you.” I panted, fingering myself with my index finger.

Delano chuckled and sucked the moistness off.

Waves of euphoria shot through my insides the moment I realized he was inside me.

“Damn you feel good.” He complimented, beginning with slow strokes and increasing with speed at the sound of my ecstasy.

His dick fit like a glove. I relished in this moment because I knew in my heart of hearts that this would be the last time.

  At least with Delano.

Each stroke went deeper than the last. I grabbed his waist in an effort to push him farther into me and I loved it.

Ass bouncing gracefully against his inner thigh.

We remained this way for awhile until he turned me over and ransacked me from behind.

  “Fuck.”

He whispered in my ear while I rode him like an equestrian.

Under normal circumstances, I didn’t like rough sex but because I felt like I needed to be punished for my devious ways, this was the ultimate discipline.

For a lady, I had certainly been a bad bitch.

  Legs trembled.

  Wetness trickled from my hot-spot.

Heaven was at my fingertips the closer I came to an orgasm.

“I’m coming.” We sang in complete synchronicity.

Lust leaked from me while his gravy landed on my back.

I was in love with his lovemaking.

He looked at me for a moment, glistened in sweat and grinned.

“Your husband doesn’t know what he’s missing.”

“Neither does your wife.” I replied, legs still frozen from our heated encounter.

Delano went to his room to retrieve some articles for me to take a bath. As he did so, I thought about the inevitable conversation I would have with Tegan about haphazardly bumping into him at Canlis.

“Of all places…” I groaned to myself.

My thoughts were intercepted by the vibration of Delano’s pants pocket.

Ignored the sound until I realized that whoever it was had been calling several times in a row. For fear of him missing an important message and an admitted tinge of nosiness, I reached for the phone and immediately felt uneasy.

Either that name was extremely common or my eyes were messing with me.

“This broad just won’t disappear.” I seethed in a low whisper.

In an act of curiosity, I answered the phone and pressed my ear against the receiver to hear who was on the other end.

  “Hello…Hello…”

I let the woman repeat herself until she grew tired and hung up.

Her voice was all I needed to hear to confirm her identity.

I quickly stuffed the phone back in Delano’s pants pocket when I heard evidence of his return.

“Wanna join me in a hot bath?” He offered, standing in front of me completely naked.

“I’d love to.” I flirted, reaching back in his pants to toss him the phone. “Someone called for you but I didn’t answer because, well you know…”

He rubbed the back of his neck and gave a thin smile.

“Probably a business call. I’ll call them back and meet you in the shower.”

I gave him a kiss on the cheek and trotted away.

Once in the tub, I washed away my sins and pondered what business Shauntae had calling Delano.

I guess it’s true what they say, it really is a small world.

  CHAPTER 19

“Could you be ANY louder coming in the house at this hour?” Myla whispered, unlocking the door after hearing me struggle to get it open.

The angry squint she wore on her face let me know she had been knocked out.

The sun was barely peaking over the clouds, signaling the crack of dawn.

“Sorry, I fell asleep at his house and had to sneak out before he woke up.”

“Why didn’t you just stay over there?”

“Because I told you I would be back later on tonight.” I answered sheepishly. Myla had one hand on her hip and shook her head.

“Your night must have ended much later than ours.” She snickered and let me inside. “Come and sit with me in the living room, might as well start making Junior’s breakfast.”

I rubbed my eyes and yawned.

“Can we do this later? I am super tired from being out.”

  “Yeah, out sucking and fucking.”

“Enough with the jokes NeNe.” I said, holding my hand up. “For your information other than our wine and dine, we spent the night at his house. It was very romantic.”

“Romannnnttiiicccc. Now you have to tell me. I’ll get the wine glasses.”

  I groaned.

  “This early in the morning?”

“Well technically it’s still nighttime. The sun hasn’t completely come up.” Myla countered, grinning.

“Alright, but only one glass of wine. I’m dead to the world after this.”

I took off my shoes and dragged myself to sit with Myla at the kitchen table.

“I want to hear from start to finish.” She encouraged, filling our glasses to the brim. “Everything. Ooh this is gonna be better than a telenovela.”

Myla made herself comfortable while I took a sip.

“Well we began our night at Canlis and it was all good until I bumped into T.”

  “Tegan? Your friend Tegan?”

“Yes, Tegan.” I bit my lip nervously. “He doesn’t know anything about the Denise arrangement and I wasn’t really sure how to introduce Delano and him to each other so I just said he was a potential client for the center.”

“Sounds like bullshit to me.” Myla played with her locs. “In all the years I’ve lied to men, you didn’t learn anything from it.”

“I got anxious so I did the best I could. He didn’t believe it though so I know we will have our heart to heart soon. Not to mention Shauntae calling Delano after we had sex.”

“Pierce’s Shauntae? Oh this is getting good. How would they know each other?”

“I have no idea but something in my heart is fearful of the answer.” I took a deep breath and rubbed my shoulder. “We need to pay Ms. Shauntae a visit anyway and figure out if she had anything to do with your accident.”

“Good thing I have a clean bill of health, just in case we need to kick her ass.” Myla said, putting her fists up for a fight.

“Right, lets fight the pregnant woman and go to jail for the lives of TWO people.”

My sarcasm ruined the giddy expression on her face.

“You just have to be so rational don’t you?”

“To counter your lack thereof, yes I do
.”

I rose from my seat and went to lounge on the makeshift bed Myla had used for the past few days.

“Don’t ruin my sheets with your sin.” She giggled, throwing a pillow in my direction.

“And you wonder why I feel some type of way about the things I’ve done.”

“Please girl, everyone has done something they aren’t proud of, it was a joke.” She responded as I got comfortable. “You look at the video yet?”

“No, I just got back. When would I have had the time?”

I cut my eyes at her because I knew where she was going with her question.

“Well, there’s no better time than the present.” Myla countered, finishing up breakfast and running over to join me on the couch.

“Uh uh, I’m not in the mood.”

“In the mood for what? Seeing the natural occurrence that is the sexual prowess of the black woman.”

I couldn’t help but laugh at her silliness.

“Here.” I took the thumb drive from my purse and handed it to her. “And after this I really am going to bed.”

She plugged the drive into her laptop. When she returned to the couch, the sexual encounter between Delano and I developed on the screen.

“Shh turn that down, Junior might hear.” I instructed, looking over my shoulder to make sure he was still sleep.

Myla obliged and kept her gaze glued to the screen.

“Now THIS is what I call a porno. Maybe you did learn a little something from me.”

I turned my head away from the embarrassing footage.

“Can you please just look at it in silence. It was hard enough for me to film.”

“Doesn’t look that way to me.” Myla spoke, salivating over the screen. “Umph ol’dude’s stroke game is on POINT.”

“Myla please!” I shouted, hiding my face with a pillow.

Her laughter was cut short by the front door.

“If it isn’t the woman of the night.” Tegan joked, clapping as he waltzed into the living room.

T leaned over to see what was playing on Myla’s laptop but she shut it before he was able.

“Hey T.” I greeted him with a weary smile. “Shouldn’t you be on your way to the office?”

“I left an hour early just so I could get the real scoop on what you’ve been up to. No wonder why Pierce got cameras on you and stuff, you didn’t tell me you had a man.”

I tried my best to wear a mask of denial.

“I don’t know what you mean.”

“You know exactly what I mean. Who is this Delano dude you introduced me to at dinner last night?”

Tegan stood over Myla and I who both remained silent. I wanted to extend my secret to him but just didn’t know how.

“Wooowww. So it’s like that?” He folded his arms. “Bet Myla knows. I thought I was supposed to be one of your best-friends.”

I continued battling with my mind while he ranted about how shady I had been lately.

A few minutes into his lecture, I finally decided on a plan of action.

“Wanna hear the truth?” I interrupted, sick and tired of his accusations.

Tegan went to sit on the recliner across from us and kicked his feet up.

Once he was comfortable, I filled him in on everything all the way up to me bumping into him at Canlis. I was so exhausted with keeping things from him whether Myla agreed with my decision or not.

“I knew something was fishy about that excuse of him being a potential client. The way he looked at you when I walked up gave it all way.” Tegan intertwined his fingers and leaned back. “So let me get this straight, you aren’t dating him but fucking him for money?”

“I’m not FUCKING him for money.”

The way he put what I was doing only condemned me even more.

“Although money is involved, It’s a favor for a friend. He’s a dog and the way their pre-nup is set only allows her to keep the assets they’ve earned if there is proof of him cheating.”

Tegan nodded his head, taking it all in. “Hince the reason why you recorded yourself sexing him.”

  “Yes.” I answered plainly.

By this time Myla had woken Junior up and brought him to the table for breakfast.

Tegan stared at me for a few seconds and then opened his mouth to speak.

“You know this is crazy right?” He continued to look me up and down. “I’m assuming you spent the night at his house?”

“I did. How did you know.”

“Because you have on the same dress and shoes from the night before.”

I looked down at my clothes and frowned.

He leaned forward in the chair and lowered his tone.

  “What is this really about?”

“What?” I asked, leaning forward myself.

He glanced over at Myla who was busy handling my son.

“What is this really about? Is this supposed to give you some type of vindication for the way Pierce has been treating you? If so, this is definitely not the way to go about it.”

I felt myself becoming emotional at the truth that Tegan spoke.

“I don’t think any of this is a good idea at all, I’d give her the money back and break even. You know better than this.”

“She’s already did the deed Sherlock so she might as well cash in.” Myla interjected, stopping what she was doing to tell T off.

“And it was probably you that influenced all of this mess.” He replied, not even looking in her direction.

“What’s done is done. All that’s left is to give her what she wants.” I reasoned.

“You are really gonna exchange your morals for money?”

“It’s not for money!” I exclaimed once more, stretching my arms. “And it might be for a bit of vindication. You don’t understand the pain I’ve gone through and am continuing to go through. Pierce broke my heart and his side chick only rubbed that in my face the day she came to my job flaunting her pregnancy.”

He took a deep breath and rubbed his chin.

“Although I don’t agree, I can’t say I’ve been in your position to know what it feels like. When was the last time you saw the girl?”

“The day we went to see Myla at the hospital. I have a feeling she had something to do with the accident?”

  “Why do you say that?”

“Because her fuckin name was on the insurance card in Pierce’s coat pocket with the same make and model of the vehicle that hit me.” Myla answered, joining us on the couch. “We will be paying her ass a visit trust and believe that.”

“Is this true?” Tegan asked, looking at me for a response.

I shook my head in agreement.

“When did you plan on doing this?”

“Tonight if possible. She was also calling Delano the night I went out with him which I had no idea they knew each other. I feel like meeting up with her might answer a lot of questions.”

“Ain’t no need for questions, lets beat her ass and move on.”

Tegan and I disregarded Myla’s ignorance.

“I hope you don’t plan on taking this loose cannon with you.” He gestured at Myla and continued. “At least let me be there to mediate.”

Myla clicked her tongue at the idea while I felt the opposite.

“You know what? I’m actually gonna take you up on that offer.”

Tegan rose from his seat and checked the time on his phone.

“Great. I’ll check in with you after work and if you’re still down, I’ll come with.”

“Thank you T, I really appreciate it.” I stood up to give him a hug. “Sorry about not telling you sooner, I just felt like you might judge me.”

“…Because I’m a therapist?” He grinned and made his way to the door. “I’m a person-centered counselor remember? What are the three conditions of my theory of orientation?”

I pinched his cheek and followed him to the front door.

  “Empathy, congruency, and non-judgment.”

  “Exactly.” Tegan responded
, shutting the door behind him.

Before Myla could bother me with any more of her shenanigans, I crept upstairs to my bedroom and put off the plotting of our visit to Shauntae’s until after my nap.

Who knew the life of a mistress could be so tiring?

  CHAPTER 20

A few hours after my nap, I began Saturday afternoon preparing for what would be an interesting conversation with a woman I had little tolerance for. Since Tegan got off early due to it being the weekend, Myla and I met up with him at his house. Tegan had a good point about being careful when taking Myla to talk with Shauntae so I agreed to take her if she promised to stay in the car. I even brought Junior along for the ride to make sure that’s exactly what happened.

“Your friend definitely ain’t my type of man, but I must admit his place is nice.” Myla commented, running her hands along the exterior of his Cape Cod style home.

Tegan’s cedar colored house was the epitome of quaint and picturesque. It was the kind of place that made one assume he had a wife and kids.

“Oh a compliment for once!” He beamed sarcastically as he stepped out the front door. Tegan gave my son a hug and had us follow him to his car to get things started.

“Funny how life changes the therapist to the client.” I joked, buckling my son in T’s backseat.

He placed his things in the vehicle and unlocked the passenger side door for Myla.

“Everyone needs a little help sometimes Ivory.” We situated ourselves in his ride and rode to the sound of the GPS. “Who better to provide you with that than me?”

“Me!” Myla shouted from the backseat.

He rose a brow at Myla from the rearview mirror.

“I believe there are many more qualified candidates before you come to mind.”

“Book smarts can’t get you through street smart situations.” Myla replied, putting chap stick on Junior’s lips. “Let me go up there and talk to her, I bet I’d have all the answers you want and even shit you didn’t need to know.”

“Along with an assault charge and God knows what else.” Tegan snapped.

I cut into the conversation before it became a petty argument.

“Can we please hold the animosity until after we visit this chick?” I commented, setting my purse on the floor.

“Tell him to watch his mouth and I will.”

Myla folded her arms and sat back in her seat.
