Myths Page 25

by Rob Knight editor

  "Will he die," Cameron asked.

"Not by my hand," Philetus answered. "He is simply exhausted from the transformation." Then he turned to Lord Sigmund. "So, my lord, it appears you have need of a mage. Might I offer you my services?"

Lord Sigmund turned from where he had been watching the fox slink away. "I fear it would be unwise of me to deny you."

Philetus smiled. "I make a much better ally than enemy, my lord." Then he pulled Cameron closer. "You have nothing to fear from me." They walked back to the keep where a good portion of the people had gathered after the soldiers had returned. Lord Sigmund introduced his new mage who never let go of Cameron. There would be difficult times ahead but they would manage. Cameron was a hero in the making and Philetus was a power in his own right. It might not be happily ever after but it would be close.

  Camilla Bruce

Camilla is a 28 year old living in Norway. She is currently working hard not to finish her MA. She has been previously published in anthologies and zines.

  Dallas Coleman

Dallas Coleman grew up in Deep East Texas. She survived. She escaped. She has, thus far, resisted her daddy's attempts to reclaim her. She writes because it's cheaper than therapy.

  Jules Jones

Jules Jones is a materials scientist, whose publishing credentials include such gems as European Union research reports. Thrilling though these might be to at least three readers, Jules believes that variety is the spice of life. Writing erotica provides an adequate amount of variety. It's better not to mix the two styles of writing, though - it's very embarrassing when your manager points out that the file you were working on during the lunch hour has found its way into the project folder... http://www.julesjones.com/

  Therese Melina

Ms. Melina has lived in the steamy tropics and the cozy sub arctic. She is finally sitting still in her humid hometown, and putting her writing addiction to work. A student of literature, the sciences, and this crazy ride called life, she believes that the sexiest organ is the human brain.

  Nick O'Meara

There are two ways of pronouncing Nic O'Meara's name, both equally correct. Exiled in Germany (nothing wrong with the country - it's Planet Earth that's confusing!) since her birth in 1973, Nic spends her days throwing commas at Germans, staring down uppity servers and amusing other people's cats. She has not yet found out how she came by the World War 1 sabre in the picture, but suggestions (true, strange, and fictional) are always welcome.

Her profession involves producing and editing various texts, but she only began writing the stories down in 2003. And thus the plug was pulled... since then there's always at least one story in the works, all of them in English. Her other great passions are dogs and Oriental Dance.
