... and Forever (Next Generation: Chaos Bleeds Book 1) Page 22

by Sam Crescent

“What? Get you pregnant a second time so you’ve got less of an excuse to leave me?”

She shook her head. “You did, didn’t you?”

“I didn’t have an agenda with you. I never do. But this isn’t a bad thing. I don’t see it as a bad thing. Do you?”

  She shook her head.

“Then it’s not bad. Do you want to take this before or after dinner?” he asked.

“You want to know the answer?”

“Hell, yeah. This is our future right here. Me and you.”

“Then before dinner,” she said, smiling. “You’re not going to want to see me pee, are you?”

“I’ll hold your hand and turn my back.”

This was going better than she thought. Her nerves were back in place but she didn’t expect anything less. There was no way she couldn’t be nervous about this.

This was their life. Their future.

Entering the bathroom, Simon removed the test from the box and handed it to her. She took it, thanking him as she did.

Her hands shook. He took one of hers in his own. Their fingers locking together. “We’ve got this. You and me.”

Simon turned away but he didn’t leave her.

Peeing on the stick was so embarrassing but she was glad to not be alone this time. Once she finished, she put the stick on the counter and washed her hands. Simon didn’t let her go as he held on to her hips. His arms wrapping around her body, his head resting on top of hers as he looked over to see the results.

She held on to him, not wanting to let him go.

“If it’s a yes, we’ve got to move to a bigger house,” he said. “I want Nathan to be able to play in the yard. He talks about your place back in Fort Wills. He likes gardening.”

She chuckled. “It was how I got him to be tired on weekends. He’s got so much energy. It’s almost impossible to keep up with him.”

“You’ve done good with him, Tabby. I wish I could have been there,” he said. “I’d have loved to be part of every moment, but I’m going to make up for it now.”

“Simon, you don’t have to make up for anything. I don’t blame you. I love you so much.”

“And I love you too.” He kissed her neck and she leaned back so he could take her lips. That first touch and she was already on fire, her need growing by the second. They both moaned.

“Wait,” she said, holding her hand up. “It’s time.”

They looked down at the test.

“Is that a yes?” he asked.

She turned in his arms and nodded. “It’s a yes. We’re pregnant.”

He lifted her up on the bathroom counter, spreading her legs as he sank his fingers into her hair. He pulled her in close, ravishing her mouth. One of his hands rested on her thigh, and he stroked up, touching the edge of her panties.

“I want you,” he said. “Fuck, I always want you. Can dinner wait?”

  “Yes.”

She wrapped her arms around his neck and he picked her up, carrying her through to the bedroom. Her body was so soft against his. He was never going to get enough of her. She was fucking perfect.

  Always.

He slid his hands underneath her ass. Taking hold of her panties, he pulled them down. Tabitha attacked his clothes, wanting him inside her, but both of them, body to body, naked.

“I never want this to end,” he said.

“It won’t ever change.” She pulled him down once they were both naked.

She spread her legs and the tip of him teased against her core. She gasped as he slowly sank within her. He wasn’t in a rush and neither was she.

They both cried out as he filled her up. At the last inch, he slammed in deep.

“I’ve got all night long,” he said. “You don’t have to be quiet. You can keep on moaning.”

  “Please, Simon.”

“Yeah, I want to hear you beg me for it.” He pulled out of her and she stared up into his eyes.

“I want you. Fuck me, Simon, make me yours.”

“You’ve always been mine.” He took possession of her mouth, swallowing down her cries as he fucked her harder.

After pulling out of her quickly, he moved down the bed, putting his mouth to her pussy. He sucked on her clit, tasting her. There was just no way this was ever going to get boring to her. He plunged his tongue into her core, and he fucked her with it, drawing back to stroke her nub, then down.

She loved it when he licked her pussy. Glancing down, she groaned, seeing him swirl circles around her. He knew what to do to get her off quickly but he was forever the tease.

  “Please, please,” she said, begging.

He gave it to her, sucking her clit into his mouth, using the right amount of teeth. Everything she needed. This time, he didn’t stop the buildup. He let it happen, thrusting her headlong into an orgasm that had her panting for breath.

She screamed his name but he wasn’t done. His tongue stroked her, bringing her to a second earth-shattering peak.

This time, he guided her so she straddled him on the bed. He held on to her hips and plunged inside. She loved the feel of him as he filled her, taking her to the edge of bliss. She rode his cock, knowing in her heart they were going to get through this. They were good. They were a team.

They were Simon and Tabitha. No club could separate them. No one could come between them. They were fire and ice, and everything in between.

He came, his fingers digging into her hips as he growled. She loved it, every second of it.

  “I love you, Tabby.”

  “And I love you.”

“Simon, what’s going on?” Devil asked.

Simon took a breath, closed his eyes for a second. It was Monday. He’d dropped Nathan off at school and his son had been surrounded by friends, so he’d have to have a word with his son about the difference between friends and acquaintances. There was nothing he’d give more than to be there right now.

He was the lookout. He’d been able to sneak past their guards and through the cages undetected, so he had a spot within the warehouse where he heard the girls scream. Some of them were begging for their lives.

Glancing through the crates, he counted the men.

“Ten men, I passed four in total on my way here. They’re not heavily armed. They have knives and other shit,” he said, whispering into the comms he had.

Clenching his hands into fists, he tried to contain his anger as another whimper echoed around the room.

  “I want my mommy.”

The sound of a slap followed. “You’re never going to see your mommy again, slut. You want to get out of here alive, you’re going to have to follow the rules.”

Simon looked through the crates. The girl who’d been slapped didn’t look any older than fourteen. The man in front of her held a knife to her face, stroking the tip down. When he pressed, she screamed, trying to back away, but he held her in place. “You don’t move until I say so.”

  Another slap.

“You better hurry,” Simon said. He held on to his gun, ready, prepared to fight. Taking a deep breath.

“We’re nearly there, son. Two guards down.”

“You useless whore. You’re good for nothing.”

Simon watched as the man in question unzipped his pants.

“Not even good for my dick.”

The man started to pee on the girl’s face and Simon lost it. The crates weren’t heavy and he picked one up and threw it down to land on the man beneath. Grabbing the rope, he slid down to the floor. It wasn’t his best landing, but he rolled, pulled out his gun, and fired at two men. Leg shots. He brought them down.

  “For fuck’s sake, Simon.”

He ignored Devil, no longer caring as he fired. His gun ran out of bullets, but that was why he kept a knife. He slashed the two men who came at him, and then to the man whose dick was still hanging out. He grabbed him just as the main doors were opened and the others took care of the men he hadn’t harmed.

  With his bla
de at the man’s neck, he grabbed his cock and started to twist it.

  “Fucker!” the man growled.

Simon drew his head back and slammed it against the man’s temple. The man fell and he stomped on his dick. He didn’t stop, just kept kicking him.

The man had passed out and he became aware of the guys now watching him.

“Are we done here?” James asked.

“You good for these men to be taken, or do you want to knee him in the balls a little more?” Devil asked.

“I’m good.” He reached down, grabbed the gun, and shot the guy twice in the dick. “He’ll still live with that, won’t he?”

Simon didn’t wait to hear the answer. He left the warehouse, stepping outside into the cold air. The women were all being rounded up. Ambulances and cars were waiting to take them to safe locations.

“You okay?” Pa asked, coming out to see him.

He nodded. “Yeah, of course, I am. I’m fine.”

“Really, ’cause the way I see it, you went a little crazy in there.” Pa folded his arms, waiting.

“I don’t need to talk about it.”

“I think it’s time you did talk. It could be good for you.”

“I’m not the kind of guy to talk about my feelings. I don’t need to. I’m fine.”

  “You don’t sound fine.”

“I am,” he said. “You don’t need to worry about me.” He paced the length of the ground between the cages. Blowing out a breath, he gripped the back of his neck, trying to focus on something other than what he’d just witnessed. “I am fine.”

“Okay.” Pa hadn’t left. He took a seat on the ground, resting his back against the cages. “You know I thought I’d seen it all, but now I know I haven’t even touched the surface of how shitty mankind can be. It’s tough.”

“Those women, they didn’t deserve what happened to them,” Simon said.

  “No one rarely does.”

“Apart from those fucking animals. They…” He stopped. He just couldn’t finish.

“Are you worried you’re going to turn into one of them?”

“No. What kind of bullshit is that?” he asked, stopping to stand in front of Pa.

Pa held his hands up. “I know you’ve got a lot of shit going on in your life and it took you far away from your woman.”

“For fuck’s sake. We don’t need to be talking about that shit. Honestly, I’m good.”

“I think you need to talk about it.”

“I don’t.” He stopped, glancing over toward the warehouse where his father was helping out the women.

“He’s a good guy,” Pa said.

“Yeah, he’s one of the best men I know.”

“Do you want to be like him?”

Simon brought his attention back to his friend. “Yeah, I do. Everything he’s been through. All the challenges he’s faced. He’s looked death in the face and laughed. Men follow him.”

“Simon, we followed you because you’re one hell of a guy. You don’t have to worry about those men.”

“I can kill so easily,” he said. “I don’t … I don’t think about them.” He looked at Pa. “Those men, you’ve seen the pile of dead bodies. Girls, they at one point had families, but they’ve been discarded like they meant nothing.”

“And you’re worried you’re like those men.”

“I would never rape a girl.”

“No, but you don’t care about the men you’ve killed. The lives you’ve taken.”

Simon gritted his teeth. “I don’t know what’s wrong with me.”

  “You’re human, Simon.”

“And I don’t care. I’ve just stomped on that guy’s dick, and I don’t care.”

“He’s never going to use that cock again.”

  “I want to kill him.”

  “And that’s your problem.”

“To be like my father, I’ve got to learn to walk away. To let this happen,” he said, looking at the men being led out. The Billionaires knew their shit. There were always fuckups. Men died, as did women. They were not always so easily contained. “I don’t know. I think Tabby being pregnant is messing with my head.” He sat next to his friend.

“This is going to mess with anyone’s head. It’s a fucked-up situation. There’s no getting away from that. I do think you’re going to need to have that looked at,” Pa said, pointing to his shoulder.

Simon glanced down and his eyes went wide. He’d been shot in the shoulder but he hadn’t even felt the pain.

“Now you know it’s there, it’s going to start stinging like a bitch,” Pa said.

  “You’re right. Fuck, ouch.”

Pa laughed getting to his feet.

“For what it’s worth, Simon. I think you’re one hell of a guy.” Pa shook his hand.

There was an ambulance waiting that hadn’t gone. He sat on the edge as one of the paramedics saw to his arm. It was only a graze. He’d need to patch up his leather cut.

Devil finally came over to see him. There were no girls and the bad guys were all gone. The Billionaires were handling everything else.

“We’ve got five that we’re going to need to house until the Billionaires can find the right center to send them to. Parents are already being called.”

  “That’s good.”

Devil glanced back at the warehouse.

“If you’ve got something to say, say it. I know I fucked up,” he said.

“You did fuck up. You didn’t wait for us to be in position. What you did was sloppy. Not to mention the fact you could have been fucking killed. I don’t know if you’ve got a death wish.”

  “I don’t.”

“Fucking shut up. Death wish or not, what you did was fucking messed-up, and against all the rules, and … it’s exactly what I would have done.”

Simon lifted his head to look at his father. “It is?”

“Yep, it’s exactly what I’d have done. I wouldn’t have gotten shot, but, you saw what was going on.”

“He was pissing on that girl. She was crying. I couldn’t … I’m sorry. I know you expect better of me,” Simon said.

“I don’t. You think Lash and I didn’t have fuckups all those years ago when we started this?” he asked.

  Simon glanced at his father.

“We did. I can’t speak for Lash, but I thought I’d seen the dregs of this earth. I’d been to hell and back, and I’d enjoyed the ride. I truly believed the Billionaires were all talk no real action. They made it sound rough but were mostly bullshitting. I was wrong. So wrong. I’ve been wrong about a lot of things in my time. Those men, they know so fucking much. On a couple of the first missions or operations, I nearly got myself killed. I was the lookout. I could move like you, get in and out of shit with ease. The stuff I saw, at times I thought I was looking at some kind of setup, but it wasn’t. This is why I don’t walk away. Why I can’t. When this club is yours one day, I want you to understand that someone has to fight for those women. All of them.”

  “I will.”

“I’m not going to lie, you’re probably going to be cleaning shitters for the rest of the week for disobeying me.”

  “I’m sorry.”

“Son, I’m not speaking to you as your prez. You’re my boy. I love you, and club or not, I don’t want anything to happen to you.”

Devil grabbed his good shoulder and gave him a squeeze. Then he got up and walked away.

Twig came over. “You want a ride home?”

“Yeah, I could do with that.” He got to his feet and Twig was there, by his side. “You ever hate that I didn’t let you kill yourself?” he asked.

  “No.”

  “You don’t hate me?”

“No. You’ve made me realize my life can do more. Chaos Bleeds is my future. I see that now.”

  Simon smiled. He’d done good.

  Chapter Nineteen

  Four months.

  Five months.

  Six months.

  “I can’t believe how big you’v
e gotten and you’ve still got three months to go,” Daisy said, putting a hand to her stomach.

“You do realize you’ve called me fat and are warning me that I’m going to get fatter?” Tabitha pushed her friend’s hand away with a smile.

“I didn’t mean it like that.”

  “Oh, you liar,” she said.

Daisy groaned. “Crap, I sounded so mean.”

“Daisy has to drink. She’s upset the mommy,” Angel said.

“Look at you, Angel, encouraging us all to drink,” Lacey said. “Clearly, we’ve all had a bad influence on you.”

“This is supposed to be a baby shower. This is the fun part.”

“When are baby showers actually supposed to happen?” Tabitha asked. “Just before my due date?”

“Who cares?” Tate, her sister, said. “So long as you get some free gifts, there’s nothing else to worry about, right?” Tate clinked her wine glass with Tabitha’s water glass then hugged her close. “How are you feeling, really?”

Tabitha put a hand to her stomach and smiled. “I don’t know. We’re good. Everything is amazing. Simon is looking at houses. He doesn’t want us to raise both of our kids in the apartment. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, but … we’re having a girl.” She and Simon had been keeping the sex of their baby private but now, she wanted to explain why they were looking to move. She didn’t want Lexie or Devil to think she was ungrateful.

“We need more wine,” Lacey said.

“I think this is wonderful,” Constance said.

It was nice to see her old high school friend. She hadn’t seen her since they were eighteen. Constance had returned to Fort Wills and was currently working with Millie at the toy shop.

“It’s good to see you. You’ve got to tell me all about your travels,” she said.

“Nope, not today,” Lexie said. “Today is about you and gifts and us all talking about what your baby is going to be like.”

Music played and Tabitha opened up gifts. She had a nice home spa kit, a breast pump, pacifiers, baby clothes, chocolate.

  Her friends were around her.

“I need some air. I mean, seriously, you guys.” She got to her feet and moved out of The Skulls’ clubhouse. Simon was back in Piston County with the guys and Nathan. This was her first trip away from him since they’d been back together. Fort Wills no longer felt like home. It was odd. She’d missed this place for so long but now, she just couldn’t live here. The life she once had wasn’t what she wanted any longer. The only future she saw was in Piston County.
