front of me, pushing me aside like I'm dust. Looking Bianca strait in the eyes. "Shalio" She whispered to her. "I have magic." Bianca said. Sounding robotic. "Truth charm." Deception told me. "It's true. She has magic. . ." We all stared at each other. In the middle of the park. Wind blowing in our face. "I have to go." Deception says. "Balin telemo" Then, as quick as that, she's gone. No wall made of leaves, no light, just gone. "How do you get magic?" I ask Bianca. "Bianca glances at me, making sharp turns. "You are born with it." She says. Her voice breaking up, still sounding robotic. "What? Why are you still talking like that?" I ask her. It should have worn off by now. It was only a mere truth charm. . . or was it? I walk up to Bianca looking into her eyes, which normally are a dark green, now a icey blue. "Bianca?" I ask. "Spell marker." Bianca says. "Vivo maka" A purple ball of light appears in front of her. She grabs a nearby knife and goes to a tree and carves in, 'vivo maka' The tree glows and her eyes glow. A bright yellow color. Like the sun was inside her. Radiance inside her. Then she disappears then reappears. Turning her head 180 degrees, she stares at me saying 'VIVO MAKA!' Then a ring of red fire appeared around me. "Bianca! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" I scream getting scared.
Deception appears in the ring. "Kiley, Kiley, Kiley. . ." I stand there in disbelief. How could this have happened? I failed to see what was right in front of me. Deception. The word and the girl. "Checo" She says. She has a smirk on her face. As if she had always been hiding something. Of course she was, her name explains it. Deception. I think back to when I first saw her. The trees whispered. Deception. Over and over. Did they know? Were the trees alive? Master appears next to her. "Your master?" I ask. "No, you nitwit!" She and Master yell at the same time. I stagger back. Staring wide-eyed at the both of them. "BOTH OF THEM WERE ME!" Deception (and Master) yells at me. I had been deceived. Bianca walks through the fire, feeling no pain. Feeling nothing. Like emotion had been sucked out of her. Blankly staring at me. Never taking her eyes off. "Deception is my master." She says in a robotic voice.
I just lose it at that. "NO SHE ISN'T!" I yell, almost in tears. "SHE CHARMED YOU!" I scream. Bianca gives out a weird laugh. Somewhere between a scream, and laughing evily. "Look who's FINALLY catching on." Deception says. Looking annoyed like she never was my friend. Even though her eyes said she was. "You know, if it wasn't for her little 'magic show', I could never have charmed her. That certain charm only works on magic people. Certain spells only work on magic people." Deception says, studying her nails. "MARCELIO! COLUMBO! VECIOLA!" Deception says. I recognize this from the speech, she used it to turn into a Limizode. . . but she added something to it, "CASHA!" Green smoke appears around me and I smell iron. Red sparks fly from somewhere. . . "Checo" Deception says. The police man appears. "AH!" He screams. And tries to run off but the fire prevents him from doing so. "IT EXISTS?! IT'S A LIMO-ZODE!?" "Yes she is!" I say pointing at Deception. . . but wait. . . she isn't in her Limizode form. I see a metal spoon laying on the park mulch. I bend down. Picking up the metal spoon. Looking at my reflection. "What did you do to me? . . ." I whisper to myself.
The police man tries to arrest me. But Bianca screams, distracting him. Her scream is raspy and grim. Deception screams back, "BILOCREME!", and Bianca falls to the floor. Grass plants coming up out of the soil and grabbing her. "You should have let the spell control you." Deception says, feeling no guilt. Bianca screams again. The plants crawling up her legs. "BIANCA!" I scream for her. "BILO-" Deception tries to use the spell on me, but I don't let her. Interrupting her reciting the spell I heard Bianca use. "MARACADOMISHALO" I say. Nothing happens. Deception laughs. "Each person can only make up their own spell! That's why I can't say the same spells as her! Don't you remember when she said spell check? That's how you make a spell. You have to embed it somewhere, the tree. For it to work." The plants were almost at Bianca's waist now. I run over to her prying them off of her. "Bianca!" I cry. "Kiley. . ." She says. A tear streams from her face. "I'm sorry. . ." "NO!" I scream "NO!" I repeat over and over. "NO! NO! NO! DECEPTION WILL NOT WIN! NOT THIS TIME!" I stop yelling and calm down. "Spell check." I say. Deception runs next to me and pushes my shoulder. "What are you doing? You aren't magic!" I ignore her. "Vivi Namo Cheek" I say. A orange light appears in front of me. Deception gasps and falls backwards, out of shock. "SHA-" She tries to yell at me but I throw dirt up at her and she coughs it out. "TURN ME BACK!" I scream at her. From my surprise, I turn back. But Deception never said a word. Bianca whispered something. No one could hear. But I knew it changed me back. Bianca was back. But not for long. Not if I don't do something to save her. "Vivi Namo Cheeka!" I say louder. The orange light turns purple. "Just like with Bianca. . ." I say to myself. I go over to the tree where Bianca carved in her spell, and carve in, 'Vivi Namo Cheeka'. The tree starts glowing, and so do I. I disappear into a dark room, with no light. Then reappear back in the park. By the tree. I turn around. Feeling powerful. Looking at my hands, like I held something valuable, which I did, I held power. The power to defeat Deception. "Vivi. . . Namo. . . CHEEKA!" I scream at the top of my lugs at Deception.
I hear screaming and flashes of lights. All kinds of things like chairs, bowls and tables, along with everything I had seen in the past. I see everyone I'd seen. Like I was going back in time. Then with one sound. SNAP! Everything disappears. And we're back at the meeting. Bianca gets up to the podium. “Okay everyone! Let's get-” “BIANCA!” I yell, interrupting her. “Shush, Kiley, I'm starting phase two.” I turn around and look at Deception. Her face. So innocent. Like she had no idea herself that she was going to turn into such a monster. Betrayal. Nothing was worse. Nothing kills you from the inside out from as much. Nothing is comparable. Nothing is like betrayal. Nothing is like Deception. She was herself. They were each other. “I . . . I need to use the bathroom. Don't start without me.” I say. The crowd of fourth graders look at each other. Bianca giggles nervously. “Hehe . . . One minute please?” She asks. And runs off with me. I go into a bathroom stall. It was fairly clean, but wasn't that nice. “Spell check” I whisper. “Batchono.” I whisper again. And a purple light appears in front of me. I take out a sharpy marker and write “Batchono.” On the black wall of the bathroom stall. I disappear and come back and I flush the toilet to make it seem like I used the bathroom. I unlock the door and Bianca is standing a foot in front of me. Looking suspicious of me. “No time.” I tell her as I run out of the bathroom. “Kiley, what's wrong?” Deception asks, seeing me running. “Nothing,” I say hatefully, but nicely. “I need to see you in my bedroom.” I say. Deception looks at me and protests, but eventually agrees. We get in the room and I close the door. “Deception, I don't think this plan will work.” I say looking down at the orange carpet. It felt nice. But not nice enough to lift my spirits. “Oh, why not?” Deception asks me. “Because . . . Batchono.” I say. “Batchono?” Deception asks. “Magic, you know?” I tell her with hateful eyes, not with a nice voice this time. Deception eyes widen, and she begins to fade out. “You . . .” “Duh, I saw the future, you killed Bianca! You betrayed us! I used a spell to come back and now I'm going to make sure that future never comes to reality.” Deception's almost gone now. She looked completely shocked. And so was I. I can't let Deception deceive us. After that betrayal. What she did, I couldn't stand for it. She truly was, a master of deception.
