SLAM HER Page 6

by Jaxson Kidman

  Chapel was underway.

Uncle Jakey’s seat was left empty so Knox took the helm.

“Tommy is nothing but a low life user,” Knox said. “We can strike anytime we want. That’s the good. The bad is that he’s gotten himself tied to some powerful people. So we have to be careful how we approach. If we kill him and he’s got debt, it’s going to be our debt.”

“So what do we do?” I asked. “Just let the fucker go then. We’re breaking our own balls for what? I’m out of prison. It was a deal that went south. Chief Richards wanted me, man. That’s the problem.”

“No,” Matteo said. “There needs to be a message sent. A clear fucking message.”

“Whatever,” I said. “Of all the things going on in this town, we’re worried about some drug assholes.”

“What about the other guys?” Liam asked.

“They’re protected,” Knox said. “That would be starting a war.”

I pushed from the table and stood up. “I’ve heard enough. You want my opinion? Let Tommy dig his own grave.”

“Did you really just say that?” Ari asked.

“What? I can’t get to the fucker. I can’t do what I want. If it were me, shoot him up and let him be so high he just fades away. Or we kidnap him and find out all we can about his supplier, bosses, whatever. Or do nothing. I’m tired of talking about it.”

  I stormed out of chapel.

It was a big sign of disrespect and would have come with some serious hell if Uncle Jakey had been there.

I got another cup of coffee with no intention of drinking it. I just sat there, smelling it. Dumb shit like that sometimes appeased me. The smell of fresh coffee. The smell of sweet pussy. That kind of thing.

“You need a stiff drink,” Knox said as he approached me.

  Chapel had officially broken up.

  “Fuck off, brother.”

“Look, I’m just trying to keep our name relevant,” he said. “That deal could hurt us in more than one way.”

“So take my vote of yay for whatever you decide. I have to stay out of trouble.”

“I’m sorry this is hard for you. How’d your revenge project go last night?”

“Slow. But I’ll get her. I’m going to keep myself relevant, goddammit. The name Slam will live on.”

Knox laughed. “You’re a crazy fuck, man. You really know what it means to wear the cut.”

“Of course I fucking do.” I stood up. I looked at Knox. “Go be a husband and a dad. The garage is under control. The clubhouse is safe. Let the guys go out on a ride. Think about this Tommy thing and do it right.”

  “What is right?”

“Me putting the bullet in his head,” I said. “You and I both know that. But you want me to be there and watch it? I don’t know about that.”

“I get it, Slam. I’m trying to make sure you’re included. I’m sorry shit went south and dumped on you. I’m VP. I should have been frontline.”

“No,” I said. “I’m frontline. Always. Chief Richards was waiting for me. If he wanted to shit on the club he would have. He’s been arresting me since I was a kid, Knox. Long before I met you. I was a project to him and I fucking refused everything he offered me.”

  “Jesus, brother.”

“Yeah. So now it’s my turn to make him my project. His baby girl is going to be mine. I’m going to fuck her so hard that when she looks into his eyes, he’ll know it was me. Trust me, I’m going to break him down.”

I walked away knowing Knox was shaking his head at me. One thing the world learned quick about me was that when I was out for blood I didn’t stop until I got it. And that blood right then was the sweet tasting innocence of Belle.

Outside, I lit up the first smoke of the day. It was already goddamn approaching the goddamn afternoon. The garage was in full swing, the town the same. We hired some computer guy who loved to fight and he got us up and running online, expanding our garage into a legit parts business. For a bunch of dirty grease ball mechanics and bikers we were cleaning up hand over fist. Funny how it was just a little over two years ago we were fucking suffering bad. The chapel nothing but dust and memories. The garage all but shut down. Enemies coasting through town without a care.

Knox made the first call to put the cuts back on and take back what was ours. That might have been the best fucking day of my life. Better than when I felt my first warm slit.

As I finished up my smoke I saw a car pull into the lot. We rarely got cars coming to the garage unless they were old or something someone bought to fix and flip.

This car was not anything worth keeping or fixing and flipping. It was a bright blue color four door sedan. Just a regular car, nothing worth remembering about it.

  Well, except the driver.

I damn near had to do a triple take when I saw who it was.

  I smiled.

  Belle was here.

I watched as she climbed out of her car, keeping the door in front of her body. She had nothing to hide from the world. Those damn curves were put in all the right spots. Fuck, they were making all the right spots on me activate. I had to adjust my jeans and remind myself not to get fucking hard in the middle of the parking lot. Trust me, once my snake started climbing down my leg it couldn’t be stopped. And the look of shock on their faces when they saw it for the first time only made it harder and hungrier.

“Mornin’, babe,” I said as I approached the car.

I touched the hood with a grin. I remembered that fucking car. That one time Belle had been stuck on the side of the road. Shit, I had pulled over that day to kill her. Figured it was an attack against the MC. That’s why I had Knox and Matteo keep going. The second I realized she was actually stuck I decided to help her. Maybe I had some fucked up sixth sense that told me to start planting those seeds then with Belle.

  “Slam,” she said. “Hello.”

I grabbed the door, gently touching her left hand. She hurried to rip her hand away.

“Hey, easy,” I said. “I’m not going to bite you, babe. Unless you like that. In that case, I’m fucking starving.”

She stiffened and swallowed hard. “I came here for one reason.”

“My room’s in the back of the clubhouse,” I said with a grin. “You can scream as loud as you want and the only thing that’ll hear you is a bunch of ripped up and burned out motorcycles.”

She licked her lips as her cheeks flushed. “No. Stop. You can’t talk to me like that.”

“I can talk to anyone anyway I want. There’s not a law against it. Or maybe there is. Either way, I don’t give a fuck.”

“My dad is a cop,” she blurted out.

“Aw, that’s cute,” I said. I reached with my left hand and touched her cheek. My cock pulsed, hitting the fucking door of the car. If it had been quiet enough without the racket of tools behind me, Belle would have heard the thump sound. Goddamn, her skin was so soft and smooth. So pure.

  “I’m not lying,” Belle said.

  “I don’t care,” I said.

  “Chief Richards. Know him?”

“I’ve seen him around town,” I said.

She was taking the bait before I was casting my reel. She was going to eat up my fat worm…

“Then leave me alone,” Belle said. “Or I’ll…”

“Tell your daddy?” I asked. “What are we, in second grade, babe? Come on. What are you really doing here?”

“Right. Fine. I’m here to say thanks for last night. What you did to that guy. It was a weird night for me. You didn’t have to do that.”

“I know,” I said. “But I saw how uncomfortable you were. I don’t tolerate that shit, Belle.”

  “Right. Well, thanks.”

Belle grabbed her car door but I wouldn’t let go that easily. She tugged and then let out a sigh.

  “What?” she asked.

“That’s it? That’s all you wanted?”

“Fine. My father thinks you beat up th
at guy. So please be careful, Slam. I have no idea why you really did that or why you were in the restaurant. But be careful.”

I felt like someone punched me in the chest. I ended up letting the door go and Belle got into the car and slammed the door. She looked at me, and it was like death got me right then. Those blue eyes looking up at me. She was eye level with my dick. I couldn’t help but imagine those lips…

“You want the truth?” I asked.

“Something tells me you’re not the truth telling kind of guy.”

“I was there last night to see you. Okay? I was going to talk to you and ask you to hang out with me. I could tell something is hanging over you pretty bad. Maybe it’s your old man. The daughter of a cop… that’s got to be a tough life. But I saw that guy smack your ass. I was jealous. I wanted to smack your ass, babe. You were mine, remember? So I did what I do best. I taught that guy a lesson.”

Now it was my turn to back away. I took three steps back and waited for Belle to seal her fate. She gripped the steering wheel tight. The innocence was pouring off her as much as the need to experience something wild.

Slam… she’s a project. Part of a plan. A purpose. Fuck that pussy, get her pregnant, move on.

I cleared my head of all thoughts.

Belle then looked at me. “I’m due for an oil change.”

I smiled. I stepped forward and reached into the car. I peeled the sticker off her windshield and then opened the door. I offered my hand and Belle took it. The second our hands touched, I squeezed and found myself pulling at her. I brought her dangerously close to me. My inner beast wanted her right there. Right on the fucking hot pavement.

My thumb grazed along her wrist as we stared at each other.

Something happened right then. Something I didn’t expect.

I was going to destroy this beautiful woman.

But the thing was… her eyes told me she was already destroyed.

Shit, did I just find someone as broken as me?

Belle took her hand away and I looked back to the garage. “Stay here, babe. Let me get one of my guys to help you.”

I jogged to one of the open bays and grabbed a young guy name Nick.

  “What are you working on?”

  “Got a…”

“You’re done for now,” I said. “The car behind me. It needs an oil change.”

“That thing looks like a piece of shit.”

“Hey,” I growled. “Give me lip again, kid, and I’ll knock your jaw off with a wrench. I’m not asking, I’m ordering. You’re going to take that car and change the oil.”

Nick nodded. “Okay. Sorry. Give me about fifteen minutes.”

  “No. Slow. Find something wrong.”

  “Find something…”

“You heard me,” I said. “Come out in five minutes and tell me that something’s wrong. It’ll take a few hours. That she was lucky she came in when she did. Got that?”

  “Is she paying for this?”

“You ask too many questions,” I said. “Asking questions gets you answers and you might get an answer that comes with responsibility you can’t handle. Understand?”

Nick nodded again. “Okay. Sure. Yeah.”

I put a finger to Nick’s chest. “Fuck this up and you’re never going to touch a tool again.”

Yeah, fine, maybe that threat was a little strong. But I had skin in this game. And that was simple - I wanted my fucking skin against Belle’s fucking skin. I wanted my cock inside her. I wanted those untouched walls of her insides squeezing against my dick as I pulsed load after load of hot cum into her.

  Goddammit…

I went back to Belle and touched her wrist. “Hey, babe, it’s all good. My guy Nick is going to take care of it.”

  “How long will it take?”

  “Fifteen minutes,” I said.

I climbed into her car and started it.

It fucking smelled of her. The same smell from the restaurant.

I gripped the wheel and drove forward into the garage.

Maybe I was better off in prison.

  *NOW*

I took the coffee even though I didn’t want it.

Slam stood with a mug of coffee, just smelling it. Everything about him was interesting. He was the ultimate symbol of everything my father feared for me. Maybe that’s what made him so attractive.

  Please.

What made him attractive was the size of his arms, his dark and brooding eyes, and the way he looked at me as though I was the only person in the world. I never had someone look at me like that.

My bag buzzed three times before I finally checked.

  Kyle. Again.

More of his weird romantic texts.

  “That your boyfriend?” Slam asked.

“What? No. I have no boyfriend.”

  Slam grinned.

Shit. I just gave myself away.

  “I mean… that…”

“It’s okay, Belle,” he said. He put hit coffee mug down on a table. “Truth is… I don’t give a damn if you have a boyfriend.”

God, the way he talked was so ruthless. It was so crude and cruel. He just cut right down to it and said what he wanted. And I sort of liked it. It was sexy. Different than any man I ever met before.

“You don’t want that coffee, do you?” he asked.

  “No.” I smiled. “Sorry.”

He grabbed at the mug, ripping it from my hand. When his rough fingers touched mine, it sent a pulse that went straight to my chest and down between my legs. I shivered as my nipples pressed against the thin padding of my bra. My panties started to pull up, trying to absorb a wetness I did not welcome.

Slam put the mug down and asked, “Want a beer?”

  “No thanks.”

  “Okay. Just offering, babe.”

I saw the guy coming from the garage, wiping his hands.

My car’s done. Thank God. I shouldn’t have stayed here.

It was a strange fifteen minutes of my life. Staring at Slam, looking away, hearing him make passing comments about me. I shrugged it all off even though I was kind of turned on.

“My car is done,” I said.

  “What?” Slam asked.

He spun around and charged toward the guy. He took a handful of the guy’s shirt and walked him backwards. I gasped and covered my mouth. I couldn’t look away though. I almost wanted to see Slam hit someone.

  What is wrong with me?

Slam then let the guy go and grabbed the guy’s shoulder, shoving him back.

Then Slam turned and walked toward me.

“Sorry, babe,” he said. “It’s going to be a few hours.”

  “What? How? Why?”

“Nick says so,” Slam said. “Said something with the filter or whatever. No big deal. We have all the parts.”

“I…” I looked at my bag. I shook my head. “No, Slam. Just shut the hood. I don’t have any credit cards with me or anything. I can’t afford any car repairs.”

“Hey,” he said. “I didn’t say a word about you paying.”

  “What? How?”

“Who do you think owns this place?”

  “You do?”

“Part owner,” he said. “Plus, we don’t work on cars. I’m doing this as a favor.”

I clutched my bag and stepped back. “Why?”

  “Because I’m a nice guy.”

“No you’re not. You told me you’re a villain.”

He laughed. “You remember. That’s good.”

  “Seriously, Slam…”

“Jesus Christ, Belle. I’m doing you a favor. I’m sorry things got out of hand at the restaurant. I’m a total hothead, okay? I didn’t mean to stir up trouble in your work. Last thing you need is to be broken down on the side of the road again.”

“Why would you care? Wouldn’t you be there to save me?”

  OMG, Belle, are you fl
irting back right now? With this guy? This… biker outlaw thing…

Slam winked and reached for me. His pointer finger grazed my chin. “Always, babe. I’ll always save you. But for now, you’re going to do me a favor.”

  “What’s that?”

“I have to get out of here,” Slam said. “I can’t take this place and I’m hungry. I had breakfast an hour ago but I could eat again.”

I started to shake my head.

Slam breezed right by me. “Suit yourself. You stay, you pay.”

  “Excuse me?”

I turned and started to chase after Slam.

Next thing I knew I was standing at the side of a motorcycle. Slam grabbed a helmet and handed it out to me.

“Take it,” he said. “Come for a ride. Taste the open road, babe. Live a little.”

“You can’t go into town,” I said.

“I won’t. We’ll go west. I know a little place. We’ll grab a slice of pizza and hang.”

I shut my eyes and grabbed the helmet. I couldn’t believe what I was about to do. But it seemed like the lesser of a hundred evils. Meaning… if I stayed I’d be around an entire club of bikers. If I went with Slam, it was just him. Me and him.

I climbed onto the back of the motorcycle a minute later and slipped my hands around Slam’s body. I felt leather and then hardness. Muscle. All fucking muscle.

The rumble of engine made me shiver between my legs.

  So did Slam.

His version of a little ride was different than mine. We blasted out of town and down the road I had broken down on. I couldn’t talk to him or ask where we were going. I was locked to him and his command of the motorcycle. It was freeing yet I felt anxiety. This was the kind of stuff that always got me into trouble. I couldn’t just say thanks and walk away, right? I had to end up with my car getting fixed and taking an hour long ride with Slam.

When he did stop, it was a small pizza place. You wouldn’t know it was a pizza place because it was an apartment building. A small sign stuck out that said Angie’s in small, black text.

  “This?” I asked him.

“Best pizza you’ll ever have. And the view…”

He pointed and when I stepped to the side of the building I realized we were at the coast. The water crashing ten feet down into jagged rocks. The rumble of the motorcycle was fresh in my ears still but when it faded, in came the sound of the ocean.
