Moe shook her head and took a deep breath. She tried to push through the cloud of the drugs and the throbbing bass of the music. “The drugs are at 128 Hilltop Road in Brooklyn Park. In the garage around the corner on Lethbridge,” she managed.
With her free hand, Stacie pulled her phone from her pocket and dialed. “Detective Mason? Yeah. We got it. You’ll find the drugs in a garage in Lethbridge Road. The address of the house is 128 Hilltop Road in Brooklyn Park. Giovani is at Freddy’s Bar off Patapsco. He’s in the back alley. Have fun with the bust.” Stacie hung up and asked Ami, “You got what you need?”
Ami returned Giovani’s phone to his pocket and said, “I’m good.”
Moe could feel her blood slowing. The rush of the cocaine was starting to wear off. She knew the last of the vile was in Giovani’s pocket. She started to reach down for it.
“No you don’t,” Stacie said, pulling Moe back up. “Nice work ladies. Let’s get out of here.”
Moe let the two women guide her to her car. Once in the back seat, she closed her eyes and fell asleep to the sounds of Eminem rapping about his mother’s drug habit racing through her mind.
