She found that she thoroughly enjoyed the writing process. The magazine articles eventually segued into writing fiction and novels. In late 2005, after having twenty novels published by Harlequin/Silhouette under the pseudonym of Shawna Delacorte, she discovered ebooks and had her first ebook published in January 2006. Samantha continues to write for Harlequin in addition to publishing ebooks.
For the last nine years she has taught an eight-week fiction writing class twice a year at the university.
Samantha loves to travel and has been to England/UK several times.
