  “Got it,” Harry said, walking farther ahead of them.

  “Be safe, runt,” Tom called out.

  Character Sheets

  Harry:

  Trow Scout

  Brawn -1, React 4, Body 1, Mind 0, Sense 2, Face 0

  Shift Blame (trow) (1xday level/2): Shift blame from you to a person you choose.

  Vanish (2x day): Drop from combat for a few seconds.

  Detect traps (passive): Able to sense traps.

  Backstab: Extra damage from behind or from stealth.

  Preferred setting: Bonus to actions in preferred setting (subterranean).

  Small package (trow): Can squeeze into any hole that your head fits though.

  Trickster’s eyes (trow): Bonus to detecting traps and piercing disguises.

  Trickster (trow) (1xday level/2): Magically disguise yourself to appear different for ten minutes.

  Night sight (trow): See in natural darkness.

  Armor bonus (trow): When wearing non-metal armors, gain a bonus to armor stat.

  Keen tracker: When tracking, you find the trail easier.

  Marksman (1x rest): When using a ranged weapon, you can inflict critical damage.

  Fleet footed: You have become adept at moving faster both normally and while sneaking.

  Nature’s lesser magi: Being close to nature, you have learned to harness the natural world in a way similar to a magi of the same path.

  Spell energy (1 energy): Stat bonus plus lesser nature magi base.

  Spells: splinters, tracker’s mark

  Jinxes: woodcraft

  Dick:

  Half-elf Magi

  Brawn 1, React 2, Body 0, Mind 3, Sense -1, Face 1

  Spell energy (8 energy): Stat bonus plus innate magi base.

  Recoup energy (1x rest): After a rest regain energy points equal to your level plus stat bonus.

  Elven senses (elf): Hearing and eyesight enhanced.

  Elven sight (elf): Can see in natural and magical darkness.

  Light sleeper (elf): Only need four hours of sleep.

  Battle mage (half-elf): Cast spells even while holding a weapon, maintain spells even when injured in combat.

  Major Path (Innate): Magi who chose this major path quickly outstrip their brethren in energy. Minor paths from here focus on the manipulation of raw arcane magic and twisting it in new ways.

  Light armor initiate: Wearing the lightest of armors no longer makes it harder to gather your energy.

  Spells: unerring orbs, barrier, slip, hero maker, shield other, safe consumption

  Jinxes: ghost hand, jinx ray, fix, occultism

  Tom:

  Dwarf Brawler

  Brawn 3, React 1, Body 3, Mind 0, Sense 0, Face -1

  Body like iron (dwarf) (1xday/ 2/levels): Your skin becomes tough as iron for a few seconds.

  Fury (2xday): Do extra damage. Brawn skills gets bonuses while in Fury. 5 minute maximum, become fatigued when it wears off.

  Clotting blood (2xday): Heal for damage taken; must be used immediately after taking damage.

  Brawler body: Body stat adds to armor stat. Cannot wear armor. Fists now do damage equal to other 1-handed melee weapons.

  Weapon specialization (Brawling): Can damage people in metal armor without fear of hurting self.

  Armored sleeper (dwarf): Can sleep in any armor with no penalties.

  Dwarf body (dwarf): Resistant to poisons.

  Metal sense (dwarf): Bonus to appraising metal items.

  Stone sense (dwarf): Can detect secret doors and traps in worked stone.

  Night sight (dwarf): Can see in natural darkness.

  Heroic surge (1x rest): Break the bounds of normality. You’re able to exert yourself to do twice as much as a normal person in the same short amount of time.

  Combo (1x day/level): Gain inner strength that can be unleashed to perform a combination attack.

  Long strider: Your ability to cover ground has increased. As long as you are unarmored, your speed increases and will continue to do so at set levels.

  Friend in need (1x rest): When fighting a foe with an ally, you are able to interpose yourself between them and danger.
