If you have reached this page, I can only assume that you have finished reading Through the Woods, book two in the Little Red Riding Hood Novels. I wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you and that I hope you enjoyed the book. I would also like to ask a small favor of you. I’d love to know what you thought of the book, you can tell me by leaving me a review. Giving a writer a review is like getting a big hug, so if you enjoyed the book, will you give me a hug? (Also, I’m terribly sorry if that sounds incredibly creepy.)
ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
I want to take a moment to give my most sincere gratitude to a couple of people who contributed their thoughts and opinions to this book because without them, what you read would not have been nearly as good.
My Beta Readers: you took time out of your busy lives to read this work of fiction that lives so vividly inside of my head and for that I can’t thank you enough. You confirmed that the story was good, and never once faltered when telling me to keep going.
Adrienne Nugent-Maroux, you are such a beautiful spirit. You lent me the most help with the undertaking of Through the Woods. I know that whatever life’s struggles you face because of the light you carry inside of you that you will stand up to face troubled waters and emerge victorious.
Emily Palmer, you took a chance on Through the Woods and completely shocked me when you asked if the next book was ready and it hurt my soul to tell you that I had not even begun to write it. Hang in there, I promise that you will be beta reading about the next installment of the Little Red Riding Hood Novel’s as soon as my fingers can finish typing it.
To the writing community of Twitter, hear me now. You, every one of you, are remarkable. Inspiring, aspiring, nanowrimo-ing, blocked, stuffy nosed, querying or on your tenth rejection letter. Don’t. Stop. Writing. The world needs your stories.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Growing up in the deep south I was taught some precious life lessons; you should always answer with Ma’am or Sir, tea that isn’t sweet is blasphemy, and that you catch a lot more flies with sugar than you do with vinegar.
I was born in Forth Smith, Arkansas but I was raised in the small town of Marion, Arkansas a short fifteen-minute drive from Memphis, Tennessee the birthplace of rock and roll and currently live in Mississippi. While it may not seem like an accomplishment to some, I am proud to say that I was a published author before the age of thirty and I have many more books left in my head to share with the world.
When I am not writing, I’m thinking about writing and driving friends and family crazy with the latest concoction that my brain has come up with as well as spoiling my cat Boo who at some point, will make a cameo in an upcoming novel that has been sitting in my work in progress folder for two years.
