Chapter 30 Phoenix and Lily - Happily Ever After
Phoenix rolled over and grunted. Little hands were poking at him. “Daddy, it’s time to get up.”
“Wake your mother.” He pulled his pillow out from under his head and put it over his face to block out the giggling and light.
Lily smiled and lifted Phoenix’s pillow. “You promised I could sleep in today,” she gently reminded him. “Besides, I didn’t sleep well last night.” Her hands rested on her belly, now swollen with their second child cub.
