Love in the Wild: A Tarzan Retelling Page 26

by Emma Castle

Thorne reached out to greet his mother in the way of the apes, with gentle brushing knuckles over her brow, cheek, and chest. His daughter squirmed and kicked her chubby legs as she tried to reach for the gorilla. The gorilla hooted softly, a sign of interest and amusement at the baby’s reaction.

The child let out a delighted giggle and spoke a few words of child language that not even Thorne could understand. But the gorilla seemed to, and she brushed her knuckles gently over the baby’s cheek. She looked up at Thorne. Love made all things beautiful. Thorne’s heart was filled with a love so deep that for a moment he could not speak. Then finally, he spoke in the language of the wild to his mother.

“Keza, this is my daughter, Jane.”

All around them the quiet forest woke like a sleeping god after a thousand years of slumber as Keza replied, “Welcome, Jane, daughter of the jungle.”

Thank you so much for reading Love in the Wild! My next story is Devastate Me where a sexy but oh-so-grumpy Navy Seal falls for the girl who moves in next door. Interfering housewives, a nosy Homeowners association, a loyal service dog and a steamy romance fill this sexy story! Get it HERE!

And don’t miss out on future releases from me which will include a sexy retelling of the Labyrinth movie where a dark fae prince steals a woman away by twilight to seduce her.

  About the Author

Emma Castle has always loved reading but didn’t know she loved romance until she was enduring the trials of law school. She discovered the dark and sexy world of romance novels and since then has never looked back! She loves writing about sexy, alpha male heroes who know just how to seduce women even if they are a bit naughty about it. When Emma’s not writing, she may be obsessing over her favorite show Supernatural where she’s a total Team Dean Winchester kind of girl!
