Getting There Page 8

“She’s massive and could possibly kill me.”

Creed shook his head. “She wouldn’t hurt a fly.” He walked back to Lucas who would have moved to step back, but Creed caught him before he did and dragged his body next to his. “We’re doing this together, Lucas, you and me. All of it. Come meet my horse, and later, I’ll take you for a ride.”

Lucas shivered, but with Creed’s encouragement, he moved forward. “I don’t know what to do.”

Creed took Lucas’s hand and lifted it toward the horse. “Let her sniff you first, get a sense of you.” The horse moved forward, eyes large and round, the size of tennis balls. Okay, maybe that was an exaggeration, but they seemed to get bigger the closer the animal got. Still, Lucas tried to stay as motionless as possible while her cold nose breathed him in. When a tongue snuck out and laid a wet strip against his skin, Lucas gasped.

“There now. She says it’s okay, right girl? Touch her, Lucas. She loves that.” Lucas reached up timidly at first and laid his hand on the white star between her eyes.

“She has a star,” Lucas remembered that term from somewhere, and he was in awe of the warmth beneath his hand.

“Yes, like her mother did. She’s fast like her, too, aren’t you girl?”

As if in answer, the horse huffed, but she remained still as Lucas slid his hand over her face and down the side.

  “She’s magnificent,” Lucas whispered reverently.

“Yes, she is.” Creed leaned over Lucas, his lips sliding down the side of his neck, nibbling softly. “Having you here with me makes me feel things.”

“What kinds of things?” Lucas whispered.

“The kinds my uncle was talking about. Come on.”

Creed said good night to Jewels and from out of nowhere pulled a carrot. “Spoiled beauty.” Jewels took the carrot and stepped back to enjoy her treat.

They left then, a knot of anticipation in Lucas’s belly.

Returning to the car, Creed told Lucas to get in. His voice was rough, his movements more hurried as if he couldn’t wait to get wherever they were going.

As soon as Lucas got in the car, Creed took off.

They turned down a road past Creed’s family home and pulled into the drive of another house, this one less lofty but still vast and sprawling.

Lucas looked at Creed who turned to him. “So hungry for you, Lucas. So damn hungry. Get out before I take your ass in this car.”

Lucas trembled but reached toward the handle. In seconds, Creed was out and pulling the door open himself and holding Lucas against his hard body.

Lucas opened to him as Creed slammed his lips against his, his hand beneath Lucas’s shirt, his fingers twisting one of Lucas’s nipples.

“Shit, Lucas. I don’t think I can wait much longer.”

“God, Creed.” Creed tore at the fabric covering Lucas’s body, the shirt ripping at his fingertips.

“Can’t wait to get inside you, feel my dick sink into your hot ass.” Lucas was helpless to Creed’s hands as he dragged Lucas’s pants down his hips, captured Lucas’s hard dick in his hands. “I love the way you taste, your seed on my tongue. You remember that, Lucas? Remember how I savored you, the way your come shot down my throat.”

  “Creed. I can’t. You’re killing me.”

“Turn around.” Lucas didn’t have much time before Creed pretty much flipped him around, his dick pressed against the cold metal of the car door. “Spread your legs wider.”

  “Creed. Someone might see.”

“And if they did, they’d see me claiming your ass right the fuck now.” Lucas heard Creed fall to the ground behind him. Turning his head, he moaned at the vision of Creed on his knees, his hands opening Lucas’s cheeks.

“Creed. Oh. Oh, Shit. Creed!” Lucas screamed as Creed speared his hole, sinking his tongue steady and deep inside. Lucas submitted to the assault on his ass, uttering garbled words as Creed worked his tongue in and out, and spread his cheeks further. Lucas gasped and rutted against the car seeking some relief for his dick as pleasure rode him.

From behind him, Lucas heard the zipper of Creed’s pants and the rip of a condom wrapper opening.

“Going to get my papers, prove to you the next time I take your ass, we don’t need this. But right now? Right now, I’m going to fuck you against this car and watch you come all over it.”

Wet fingers pressed inside Lucas, slicking him and widening his body to received Creed’s dick. Lucas pulled his bottom lip in between his teeth too eager to wait. Lucas moaned when Creed’s cock pressed against his opening.

“You want this, Lucas? Want me to sink my dick inside you, fill your hole?”

Lucas pressed his ass back trying to get Creed’s cock in. Needing it, needing Creed to claim him.

“Say it, Lucas. Say you want me, want this, and I’ll ram it home,” Creed ground out and nudged his length harder against Lucas’s hole making him whimper as the roundness of his head just barely pushed inside.

“I want you, Creed. I want you, please. Fuck me. Fuck me.” Before he said another word, Creed was in, not stopping, not pausing, ramming his dick all the way home inside Lucas’s body.

Lucas screamed at the shock of Creed’s thrust, the way he fucked into him, gripping his waist as he did, not giving Lucas any quarter before he was bottoming out deep and hard. Creed was still in his suit, the feel of it shocking Lucas, grazing over his ass and against his back as Creed took him, owned him.

Lucas wept, the tears covering his cheeks as Creed took him again and again. His throat burned with his screams of pleasure, his body pressed against the car, his dick smeared pre-cum against the window.

Suddenly Creed lifted him, used his foot to pull down Lucas’s pants leg so he could put an arm beneath Lucas’s leg and open him wider.

“Oh, Lucas. Damn, baby. I’ve wanted you, wanted your ass forever. So good. So good, baby.” Moving deep inside Lucas, Creed angled just right, and Lucas lost his mind as he spilled over the door, his seed erupting from his body. Lucas cried out and fell against the car as Creed continue to fuck him.

“Oh, here it comes. I’m coming. Fuck. Fuck.” Lucas felt Creed shoot into the condom inside him and for a second mourned the loss of it in his ass, drenching every part of him.

Creed fell against him, his huge body covering Lucas’s.

  “Mm. Damn, that was good.”

Lucas sighed with happiness, his body sheltered and safe and in a state of bliss.

  “Oh, yeah,” he groaned.

Later, they made it to the bed. Lucas got a brief glimpse of the house interior as they practically ran up the stairs. The open room design of the bottom floor was visible from the loft above. Together they lay in bed, their arms around each other, and Creed’s head nestled against Lucas’s chest.

Pleasantly sore and oh so sated, Lucas carded his hand through Creed’s hair enjoying the way it fell over his fingertips.

“This feels good, having you here with me,” Creed said.

He was right. It did. Lucas couldn’t deny that or the way he was falling in love with Creed anymore. He wanted to say that, tell him how he felt, but he still wasn’t ready.

  “What’s on your mind, Lucas?”

Was he a mind reader, or was Lucas that easy to read? He sighed as Creed lifted, his dick sliding along his thigh.

“The same thing, that it feels good.”

  “And?”

Lucas looked up into those golden eyes as Creed settled over him, his dick hard between Lucas’s thighs. He rocked into him, the gasp that followed from Lucas was needy.

  “And, you make me happy.”

Creed looked at him, disappointment written on his face. Lucas almost said it. Almost told him he was falling in love with him, but the words failed to come. Creed shook his head.

“One day soon, Lucas, you’re going to tell me the truth, that you feel what’s happening between us. I can wait. I’ve waited this long.” Creed moved lower, bent, and took Lucas into his mouth, used his powerful hands to pul
l Lucas’s thighs apart.

Swallowing him down his throat, Creed groaned then lifted.

“Right now, I’ll accept whatever part of you you’re willing to give.”

  “But…”

Creed smiled as he reached over to take a condom out of the drawer, returning to kiss Lucas gently. “One day you’ll give me all of you.”

Lucas looked deeply into Creed’s eyes as he covered his cock, then settled over Lucas’s body.

“I want to be with you, body and soul. You’re there, right at the cusp of allowing me in.” Creed pressed forward. Lucas moaned as Creed eased inside him. “One day, I’ll have it all.” Creed took Lucas’s hands in his, lowered his face into the crook of Lucas’s neck.

Lucas’s moans rose, became cries of passion as Creed’s rhythm sped faster, his thrusts deep and long, taking him to places he’d only dreamed of. They moved together, sliding skin against skin, Lucas trying to catch his breath, and Creed gasping for air.

Creed held Lucas’s hips and pulled out, falling back against the sheets. “Ride me, baby. Let me see how much you want me.” Lucas didn’t hesitate, too needy to deprive himself of what he wanted to feel so bad. Climbing on top of Creed, he sighed as he slid his ass over the top of Creed’s dick and let himself take the monster bit by bit.

“Oh, Lucas. Baby, shit, I love you. Love you, Lucas.” Lucas pressed his lips together, kept the words back that Creed wanted to hear. Creed groaned and pressed his hands against the headboard behind him as he lifted pushing more of his himself inside Lucas.

With Creed deep inside him, his eyes boring into Lucas’s own, Lucas was stripped bare. The words were on the tip of his tongue, so close he could taste them.

Creed nodded, then took his hands and placed them around Lucas’s waist. Pulling Lucas against him, he dragged him closer and moved deeper, making Lucas feel even more full. “It’s okay, baby. I have you.” Lucas moaned as Creed held him tightly and fucked up into him. “Let me love you. Show you what it’s like, how it feels.” Lucas’s ass quivered with how deep Creed thrust. His heart ached from the emotions that tore through his soul while Creed plundered his insides one final time as if searching for buried treasure, Lucas spilling after him. Pleasure rolled through him and he sighed, his body falling to the heat of Creed’s embrace.

“I love you, Lucas,” Creed said as Lucas drifted off to sleep, held by the man he loved.

  Chapter Seven

Lucas was in a space between asleep and not when he felt himself being watched. His body was tender, so he sighed deeply as he stretched, and when he opened his eyes, he jumped back, pulling muscles that had been used well—all night long.

A woman stood looking down at him, straight black hair cut into a blunt style that hung around her ears, gorgeous amber eyes so like the man whose arm still held him around his waist.

“My, you are a beautiful creature, aren’t you? I can see why my son is in love.”

Lucas was stunned. “Creed,” he whispered.

“No, my darling. You can forget that. My son sleeps like the dead.” As if to confirm what the woman said, Creed groaned and turned over. She smiled warmly at Creed’s back and turned back to Lucas. “Come, sit with me on the balcony. Oh, yes. Dress first, please.”

Balcony? Lucas didn’t remember seeing one, then again, why would he? The path he and Creed took from the car to the bed hadn’t given him time for sightseeing.

The woman walked out, and Lucas was left to drag himself out of the warmth he’d shared with Creed.

He admired the tattooed koi fish playing over Creed’s muscular frame from neck to waist as he pulled on his pants. Huh, I didn’t know Creed had a tattoo. Lucas grabbed the tattered remains of his shirt from the floor. Shaking his head, he walked over to a bamboo dresser and pulled out several drawers until he found one that contained different shirts.

Throwing on one that nearly swallowed him, he walked out to meet Creed’s mother.

Shivering a little in the brisk morning air, he sat in the chair next to her admiring the view. The trees seemed to glow in the rays of the sun. It was a lovely backdrop for the home.

Creed’s mother broke the momentary silence. “It has been a long time since my son has been joyful, and it is an honor to meet the man who has made this happen.”

Lucas looked at her, admired the perfect profile, the almond-shaped eyes. He saw much of Creed in his mother’s delicate features, and the strength too. Especially when she turned to look at him, her eyes completely taking him in.

“My son has often spoken of you, and from the first moment he said your name, there was such a light, one we have missed. One would have to wonder if you feel the same.” She was stunning, and that combined with the way her eyes focused on him made Lucas take a breath.

  “Mrs. Hamasaki?” Lucas said.

“Kiku. My husband’s name is Jareth when you meet him. He was kind enough to continue my family’s name, but neither he nor I will ask you to call us by it. Jareth asked for me to be patient and wait, but I couldn’t. I needed to know your intent.”

Lucas nodded, “Kiku. I’m not sure what Creed has said to you, but this is new for us.”

Kiku smiled. “It is new for you, Lucas. Creed has kept you in the center of his heart for a long time. But, perhaps Jareth was right and this would be the time to wait, not to pressure you. I do, however, wish to say thank you. Since our oldest son died, the only thing Creed has loved has been surfing, his body mastering the waves of the ocean. Now, he has hope for more. And, as his mother, I am grateful to you for this. We were all lost for a time, and it still hurts. It always will.” She smiled at Lucas. “But to see one of my boys joyous, hopeful. It is a gift.”

It was so much to hear, to know all this time while Lucas was begging for scraps of affection from a man who’d forgotten him, Creed had been waiting to love him. It was overwhelming, and Lucas wanted to go home, to get away from the expectations.

He heard the steps behind him and felt the touch of lips at his temple. “Don’t scare him away, Mom. You can see he’s losing it.”

“Ah, Creed. Good morning, my son,” Kiku said. If Lucas thought the woman beautiful before, she was glorious when her eyes shined with love for her son.

“Mom,” Creed said as he walked over to his mother and kissed her cheek. “How was last night?”

“It was the same as it is always. Lots of false smiles accompanied by alcoholic beverages and half-truths. I hate these events and would have been much happier to spend time at home instead.” She laid her hand flat against Creed’s cheek. “It is nice to see you well rested. Breakfast is ready.”

Creed kissed her palm and moved to sit next to Lucas. Throwing his powerful thigh over Lucas’s legs, he leaned forward and kissed him deeply.

Lucas was helpless not to return the kiss, his heart racing as Creed took him thoroughly. When he was done, Creed leaned back looking appreciatively at a flushed Lucas before turning back to his mother. “Yes, I slept well, better than I can remember.” He smiled at Lucas. “I think we’re both hungry, and I promised Lucas you’d take him on a tour of the house.”

His mother beamed. “Oh, I’d love that, Lucas. Thank you.”

Lucas was still dazed from Creed’s kiss, but he nodded, “You’re welcome, Kiku. I’d be honored.”

“Good. I will leave you two to shower while I drive back to the main house to see everything is prepared.”

Kiku stood and walked to them. Placing her hands on both of their shoulders, she bent and kissed their cheeks.

“I’ll see you soon. Try not to be too long. I remember how it was to be young.”

Lucas felt his cheeks warm as the woman walked away.

  “Your mother is beautiful.”

“Yes, and has a mind like a steel trap. Don’t let her delicacy fool you. She’s the brain behind much of the family operation. My father has often said how blessed he was when she chose to give him the time of day.”

Lucas could see that. He was
interested in meeting Creed’s father, to see what Creed gained from his father since he’d now met his mother.

“Now, that shower?” Creed asked, his eyes twin pools of liquid gold, the bend of his lip sly and mischievous.

They were all seated in a sunlit room, the glass walls open to the world around them. Kiku played hostess and Jareth Hamasaki watched quietly.

“So, Maddox says he met your man last night? You visit the stables, then?” Jareth asked.

As Lucas looked at Creed’s father, he saw where his lover got his size. The man was tall, broad across the chest, and his body boasted of muscles won hard through work and training. He also wore a warm smile that seemed to light him up from the inside out as he looked at his son.

“Yes, sir,” Creed answered while he picked up a few pieces of bacon and more French toast. Lucas shook his head as Creed plowed through that, too. Where the hell did the man put it all?

“Good. What did you think, Lucas? Did you like visiting?”

“Yes, sir,” Lucas said. “I thought it was nice, and I look forward to seeing the rest of your home.”

“Good, that’s good. Need to get to know your home,” Jareth said as he sipped from a glass of orange juice. “Creed says you’re living with your brother right now.”

  “Dad,” Creed warned.

Jareth looked up, a sparkle in his gray eyes. “What, Creed? We’re ready to get some more family in this house. Children, too. How do you feel about kids, Lucas?”

Lucas choked, tears appearing in his eyes after being caught off guard by the direction of Jareth’s questions. “I. Uh… I haven’t given much thought to it. To children, I mean.”

“Well, you need to get thinking, son. Plan on being a grandfather now that my son has found his partner. That’s what they call them, right? Partners?” He directed this to Creed.

  “Yes, sir. Partner.”

Maddox entered, greeting everyone. When he looked at Kiku, he said quickly, “On my way to the doctor right after breakfast, woman.”

  “Good. I’ve called ahead.”

“I’m a grown man, you know.” He sat at the table. “Creed. Lucas.” Then, he picked up a piece of bacon and tried to scoop up some eggs. His hands were struck immediately by the spoon Kiku wielded. “Ouch.”
