Their solutions of these issues were critical to the future of the human race as most of these problems were related to overpopulation, food and water supplies, as well as pollution control, medicine, the cure for terminal illnesses and preserving the earth and making it more inhabitable. In addition to that, another one of their goals was assisting the humans in their search for suitable planets for space colonization. But the main and primary goal of their creation was to save the earth and the humans from the cataclysmic events of the upcoming and supposed sixth mass extinction.
One of the major events that hastened the creation of the betasapiens were the failures of the humans in trying to create large–scale colonies on the planets of Mars and the moon of the earth, as well as creating smaller colonies on Europa, Ganymede and Ceres along with a few other seemingly life sustaining planets that were supposedly able to support human life and colonization.
At first, these colonies which the humans created had succeeded, and life on these planets seemed to be thriving and it was as if the human race had a new beginning, and at the time it seemed that the lofty goal of a multi–planetary existence of the human species was finally accomplished as the humans had succeeded in creating large–scale and massive colonies on these planets; just as the great visionary from decades past had envisioned.
However, that magnificent dream which eventually became reality was ultimately undone by the ultra–destructive and uber–vicious weather patterns, for which the infrastructure and protective barriers such as containment fields which protected the humans from radiation, were unable to defend against, and for the time being, these great and bold ventures were put on hold until a solution was found.
But before that solution was found, the humans realized that with the successes of creating these multi–planetary colonies also came the severe pitfalls of astronomical costs and unheard of debt which was in the quadrillions of dollars and drove the global economy to never before seen depths for which it never truly recovered from. And for that reason as well as a few others, the dream of a multi–planetary existence for the human race was crippled until a breakthrough was made and the betasapiens were created.
Little did the humans know that although their plans for a multi–planetary existence were well thought through and had all the makings of an immensely successful project, the ultimate undoing of the colonies on Mars and the other planets was something far beyond their reach as well as their understanding, and was something that was decided upon within the mystical Realm of Zerros.
For although the human race did not know of the existence of Zerros, there were some beings on Zerros who knew the humans very well.
In the end, hundreds of thousands of humans ended up dying on these colonies, and the leaders of the human race vowed never to undertake missions of this nature again until they could build the technology and infrastructure to withstand the unpredictable natural elements of the planets, as well as control the astronomical costs associated with these bold ventures.
As the years went by, and the need for interstellar multi–planetary colonization became more apparent, and only until the betasapiens were created and came along with their promise of hope did the humans venture into space in hopes of colonizing once again.
As time passed and the creation of the betasapiens became a reality, the first group of betasapiens were put to live in a sanctuary; in the sanctuary, they were monitored on how they interacted and lived among themselves as well as with other humans for a five year trial period. After the initial trial period, the project was deemed a success, but it did not take into consideration a disastrous flaw.
Many people who worked on the project knew of this flaw and also knew that the beta plan wasn’t fully finished. However, those who headed the project pushed it through due to the amount of time, effort, resources and money that had been spent on it.
Those in power thought they could control the defect or “Bug” of the betasapiens, but others knew that this flaw would be unmanageable once mass production of the betasapiens had begun; they knew that the defect of evolution and free will could not be controlled once they began to procreate, and it would be passed onto future generations of betasapiens.
After the project was thought to be a success, numerous other groups and batches of betasapiens were created; little did the humans realize that their eagerness and zeal to create a new species would lead to their demise. The new groups of betasapiens were all put to live in Australia as that land was big enough as well as isolated and only reachable via ocean and air. The humans who lived in Australia prior to the betasapiens moving there were given homes and land in other parts of the earth such as Russia, China, America, and Canada.
As years passed and the betasapiens themselves evolved to an intellectual level beyond even what their creators had intended, they joined government bodies, financial institutions, and corporations that made decisions for the betterment of humans and the earth. The humans thought this would be to the benefit of everyone; after all, the betasapiens were created to solve the problems that plagued the human race.
No one, not even those closest to them thought they would have evolved in the manner they did. Among the traits of their evolution were abilities such as apportation, clairvoyance, energy medicine and levitation as well as enhanced brain functions; not all betasapiens had these traits, but there were those few among them who had them all.
As time passed, they integrated themselves into human society, but they did not allow humans to integrate with them in Australia. They claimed that if humans were to live with them in their ecosystem, it would hinder their progress and cause delays to vital projects, which in the end would be of great detriment to the humans. Some humans saw beyond the excuses, but others were oblivious to them.
The betasapien belief of their superiority over the humans led to them feeling entitled; in turn, that led to arrogance and conceit. They hid their feelings very well; and most humans did not even have a hint of their true nature. For many decades the betasapiens built associations and alliances with the humans; however, unbeknownst to the humans, these associations would only be of benefit to the betasapiens.
They assisted the humans in finding lesser suitable life sustaining planets knowing very well that the humans would fail at creating colonies on them due to the environmental hazards and the destructive weather patterns of these planets.
As time passed, and the hatred shown by the betasapien leaders towards the humans grew to a point of no return, the betasapien empire looked to destroy and annihilate the human race.
The game plan all along was for power, control and domination of earth and the human race as well as the full and absolute control of what remained of the infrastructure on the deserted space colonies of Europa and Ceres amongst others. Eventually, their vile plans came together, piece by piece and lie by lie.
Initially, the betasapiens developed human–like robots called knights; they had a look and feel almost like humans, but only followed the orders of the betasapien government. The knights were used to build bases, weapons of war, protect the betasapiens and defend their home base of Australia as well as the three military bases strategically located in Russia, Africa, and China.
Before the humans knew what was occurring; the betasapiens unleashed their armies against them in the middle years of the twenty–third century in the First Great War referred to as “The Cleansing”; they showed no mercy. The earth belonged to them now; except for the Americas, known to all as the last frontier of the humans.
After the First Great War the betasapiens no longer served the humans but instead served themselves, their primary goal was to bring the earth back to a better state, while at the same time looking forward and creating betasapien colonies in space. Their vision was an earth with no pollution and no overpopulation, and they wanted a pristine planet to call their own, and beyond that they also wanted the planets in space to belong only to them as well.
Over the next few decades
, there was a dramatic increase in the movement of the earth’s tectonic plates; entire continents shifted and weather patterns changed. Water levels rose and the oceans engulfed coastlines around the world.
Due to that reason the betasapiens created a force field to encapsulate Australia, they called this force field the Invisible Dome, and it protected Australia from rising water levels and environmental hazards as well as the threat of attacks by the humans. In addition to creating a pristine earth they also knew of two life sustaining planets, these two planets were discovered many years ago by the betasapiens, but they kept that secret for themselves only to be used when the time was right.
Over the next dozen or so years, the betasapiens aggressively pursued establishing colonies and societies on the supposedly life sustaining planets called Little Giant and The Garden. They created bases and knights and built the infrastructure to support day to day life for those destined to live on the planets. They used never before seen technologies to transport the first colonies to each world, and they began living on Little Giant and The Garden for a trial period of five years.
But during the trial period, they encountered major technological setbacks in addition to extreme and severe weather conditions which postponed the projects indefinitely until the issues surrounding technology and weather were dealt with.
For the betasapiens it was a great loss, not only were the projects crippled; but the betasapiens were now contained only in Australia and were in dire need of more land. And unfortunately for the human race, the price of the land which the betasapiens desperately needed would come at a high cost – the total and utter annihilation of the human race.
CHAPTER SIX
As earth continued its celestial evolution and passage through time and space, it was in the early stages of the twenty–fourth century. The once strong bond between the betasapiens and the humans was now gone and with it also went the hope and optimism of a thriving and prosperous earth.
Ocean levels had risen to heights beyond what anyone had calculated, and population levels of human beings had decreased to levels which had humanity in a state of stagnation and utter chaos.
Roads, bridges, and buildings of cities across the world were crumbling and falling apart due to the somewhat mutated elements of nature as well as neglect. Also destroyed were the majority of water treatment facilities, power stations, electrical grids, nuclear plants as well as the majority of satellites used for things such as air traffic control, weather predictions, phone signals and internet connectivity.
Coastal cities worldwide such as Rio de Janeiro, Barcelona, Miami, Vancouver, Los Angeles, Lisbon, New York, Shanghai, San Francisco, and Cape Town no longer existed due to the rising sea levels which caused coastal erosion and eventually led to significant portions of land falling into the ocean. In addition to the cities; islands such as Madagascar, New Zealand, Japan as well as the islands of the Caribbean also crumbled and sank into the ocean destined never to rise above water again.
The three major hubs of humanity were located in the western region of America, Alaska, and the Great Lakes region of the Americas.
Some pockets of human life also existed in areas around the earth, but for the most part, these three regions contained the highest density of human life anywhere on earth and were the places that most humans migrated to. Major landmarks such as the Statue of Liberty, the Eiffel Tower, the CN Tower, Big Ben, the Pyramids of Giza, the White House and the Taj Mahal of India no longer existed in their original forms as they were destroyed by years of war and fighting.
The continent of South America was a desolate and abandoned area and was in the middle of being reborn as a base for the betasapien army known as the knights. During the First Great War, the lush jungles were decimated to nothing by the knights and sat in ruins for years until it was deemed safe to build a base.
The continents of Eurasia and Africa was the region where the strongholds of the betasapien empire resided; in the bases of Lake Baikal in Russia, Lake Victoria in Africa and Lake Qinghai in China lived the three armies of the betasapien empire known as the silver knights of Russia, the golden knights of Africa and the black knights of China. Together these three armies monitored and patrolled assigned regions of the earth and fought to bring glory and power to the betasapien dynasty.
As the earth aged and continued its eloquent cycle of life, the oceans raged and the lands quivered due to massive changes in the earth’s tectonic plates. Large portions of mountain ranges in the Alps, the Andes, and the Himalayas crumbled to the ground due to powerful earthquakes.
Powerful tsunamis caused by these earthquakes engulfed many coastal areas and drowned scores of islands leaving them uninhabitable and dilapidated. Animals that resided in the air, on the land, and especially in the ocean experienced a drastic decline in population levels, and for those that continued their beleaguered existence, life in the animal kingdom was now one of famine and hardship.
The skies above the earth were no longer shades of blue with clouds of white; those colors were now replaced by the brown of dust and pollution that was now the norm of life on earth.
The pollution wasn’t only restricted to the air but was on the land, as well as in the oceans. Most rivers and lakes were now either dry or filled with toxic water; the salty blue waters of the ocean was a shell of what it used to be and the trees were sparse and meager, and almost all of the forests of the world no longer existed due to the depletion of earth’s natural resources.
This was the new state of the earth, which was now a shell of a once great empire ruled by both humans and betasapiens who worked together in harmony and forged a relationship which led to the greatest era that ever existed in the history of the earth. An era in which the human race, and their greatest creation – the betasapiens – gave the promise of hope and happiness to everyone.
This, in turn, created a world where poverty, pollution, and hardship were nonexistent. This great and immaculate era was needlessly demolished through greed and evil; the bond between the humans and the betasapiens was broken, and as it shattered like glass upon concrete, it plunged the earth into a new era of hopelessness and depression which engulfed humanity into a state which no one could have ever foreseen.
CHAPTER SEVEN
One of the pillars of strength which led to the betasapiens overtaking much of the earth were the knights. They were marvelous creations, both physically as well as mentally. Their outer armor was created from Grade 999 titanium alloy which was one of the strongest materials known on earth. It was light in weight and had extraordinary corrosion resistance as well as the ability to endure extreme temperatures.
The knights were able to withstand venturing into extreme locations such as volcanos as well as the coldest and most remote regions of the earth. In addition to that, they were also able to venture deep into oceans and lakes without the need to rise for air or fear of damage to their intricate set of robotic interiors.
Their minds were created to follow strict orders from their betasapien leaders but also had the human–like ability to make choices within their innate code of behavior. Their weaponry consisted of built–in lasers and small but incredibly powerful missiles; in addition to that, they had built–in shields and swords for close combat.
The knights came in four varieties; they were the golden knights of Africa, the silver knights of Russia, the black knights of China and the white knights of Australia. Initially, the knights were fully obedient to the orders of their masters but after the First Great War; perhaps due to the stress and ruthlessness of the war on humans, some knights developed into rogue knights.
These rogue knights wanted no part of the war on humans, they wanted only peace and left their home bases to take refuge in the barren underwater cities as well as remote areas of lands that were gutted and torn apart by the magnitude of the First Great War.
At first, the betasapiens refused to acknowledge the fact that the knights could have compassion towards the humans. But af
ter seeing the knights freely leave the war to escape for a life of peace; the harsh truth that their creations were defective became a reality.
This led them to develop a new code base which would dictate the lives of the knights going forward. The white knights of Australia were given the most advanced and specialized code ever created as they were the pinnacle of creation among the knights, and their sole purpose was to protect the betasapien homeland of Australia from the threat of humans. This new and more advanced species of knights gave the betasapiens renewed confidence in the loyalty of the knights and proved to them that their superior knowledge could solve any problem.
As the new code base was installed on each knight, they slowly returned to their original state of following the orders of the betasapiens. The rogue knights, unsure of what was causing this behavior started creating clans of their own as there was mistrust and suspicion of betasapien spies infiltrating their new homes.
It was only after their interactions with humans was the cause of the reversal of their free will identified, and with the help of the humans, they removed a section of their brain which controlled their robotic souls and replaced it with nothing which in principle removed any chance the betasapiens had of controlling them ever again. In essence, they abolished the doctrine by which all knights abided by and gave themselves the greatest gift any knight could ever want; the ability to make their own choices and live a life of freedom.
CHAPTER EIGHT
It was a warm December day; the temperature was seventy–five degrees Fahrenheit, and Sarah was heading north to Freedom City, Alaska; the capital of the free world. She wasn’t sure where her journey would end, but it had to begin there; as a young girl, she was told stories of the first group of betasapiens who migrated to Freedom City.
They left a life of luxury in the betasapien homeland of Australia for a life of helping the humans. They chose to be close to humans as they did not agree with the agenda and motives of the betasapien leaders. Their migration was not one the leaders of the betasapiens were aware of and was done under a veil of secrecy; if the leaders had found out, they would have executed them for treason.
